Work Text:
Tweek and Craig broke up two weeks ago, two weeks of their three mutual friends awkwardly walking on eggshells between the two of them, trying carefully not to offend either party or take sides.
In all honesty, neither Clyde, Tolkien, nor Jimmy knew exactly why they broke up, after cornering both of them individually, both Tweek and Craig gave the same vague response of “not having aligning futures” and “they need to take some time apart.” Much to the confusion of their other two friends.
Two weeks after the “incident”, Tolkien brought one important point up during lunch: “So what’s the deal with prom?”
Tweek felt himself start to fidget harder than before. From across the table from him, Craig responded, “What do you mean?” His voice feigned casualness.
Tolkien crossed his arms and stared at the boy in front of him. He took a moment to think of how to ask without causing more discomfort at their lunch table. “Well, you and Tweek-” Tweek looked up at the mention of his name- “are you guys still going together? It’s ok if you’re not! Or you found other dates or whatever…” Tolkien trailed off, “I just need a final headcount for the erm limo…”
Tweek thought back to Craig’s promposal only a week before their breakup; it was the end of the school day, Tweek was at his locker desperately trying to fit his textbooks into his locker without having everything else spill out; it’s a battle he’s still fighting to this day.
Tweek nearly jumped out of his skin when he heard Craig call out his name beside him. When he looked up, the first thing he saw was a bouquet of yellow and white flowers. He instantly straightened and smiled shyly at the sight of Craig’s blushing face, from beside him, he saw Tolkien recording, grinning behind Craig's phone.
“Can I be your date to prom?” Craig hadn’t looked him in the eyes, but he turned to look at him when there was no response, “Sorry, this is kind of stupid, but I heard you talking to the asian girls that you liked promposals, and maybe I should’ve done this somewhere more private, I don’t want to overwhelm yo-”
That’s when Tweek kissed him.
Tweek started to blush as he remembered how he showed his appreciation for Craig in other, more explicit ways after Craig drove him back home, before shaking off the blush at the realization that there was still a conversation happening.
“I-I thought I was going stag!” he blurted out.
All eyes except Tweek’s turned towards Craig. “I guess I am too then.” He looked away from the group.
Tolkien exhaled, “Great, I’ll confirm everything with the girls then.”
Tweek wanted to crawl into the floor and die at Craig’s tone. “He sounded upset, almost? Shut up, Tweek, you’re imaging things!” he scolded himself mentally.
“Sweetie, are you done changing? I can help if you need anything.” Mrs Tweak’s calm voice came from behind Tweek’s bedroom door.
“Augh! Yeah, thanks, Mom!” his hands were shaking from nerves; he hadn’t worn button-ups often in years, even then he could never get the buttons right.
“Aww, Tweek, you look so handsome! Here, let me help you.” Mrs. Tweak proceeded to button up his shirt, “What time is Craig coming to pick you up?”
Shit. he totally forgot to tell her that they broke up.
“Erm, I’m not sure…Tolkien rented a limo for all of us. They should be here soon, I think.”
“That’s wonderful. I remember my senior prom; I won prom queen that year. I still have the sash somewhere around here. Be sure to invite Craig inside so I can take some photos of you two before you leave.” She patted his chest to signal he was done and motioned to the bed to start working on Tweek’s messy hair.
“Ugh… Mom, we can take some there! There is going to be like photobooths, I think.”
“Nonsense, it's tradition! Invite Craig and your friends over for some quick pictures. It won’t take more than five minutes.”
Tweek grumbled as she continued to comb his hair, “Fine.”
As Mrs Tweak was finishing taming her son’s messy, wavy blonde hair, a text from Tolkien had Tweek worried, “Mom they’re six minutes away!”
“Don’t worry, sweetie, I’m done!” She pinched his cheek, “My handsome boy, you’re so grown up!”
Tweek smiled weakly at her, inside he was nervous. Maybe it wasn’t too late to cancel going to prom; sure, the ticket was like a hundred dollars… not to mention his suit! His plan originally was to not talk to Craig unless absolutely necessary, but his mom was making this pretty hard.
He went downstairs to sit on the couch, his mother was in the kitchen cleaning. He turned the TV on and tried to pay attention to the baking show on screen. Normally Tweek would join in on bantering with his mother about the mess occurring onscreen but all Tweek could think about was Craig and his stupidly handsome face…crap! His leg was about to make a hole in the floor with how much it was vibrating.
His phone finally rang, “Yo Tweek, we’re outside, come out! Wait, you already did haha!” he could hear Bebe groaning at Clyde’s joke next to him.
He quickly got up, walked to the front door and whispered into his phone, “Clyde, pass the phone to Craig.”
“What? Sorry dude, you have to speak up.”
He whisper-shouted, “Pass the fucking phone to Craig, Clyde!”
“Geez, ok!” he heard shuffling from the other line.
“...Hey Tweek.”
Tweek’s face felt hot. He really hoped he wasn’t as red as he felt, “Craig, IForgotToTellMyMomWeBrokeUpCanYouPleaseComeInForPictures?”
Whoa, that took the wind out of his sails. From the other line he heard silence, then a simple, “Ok, I’ll get the others.”
“Tweek, what’s taking your friends so long?” Mrs Tweak called from the couch.
“Nothing, Mom! They’re coming right now.”
“Tweek do you want some coffee before you leave?”
Normally Tweek would say yes without hesitation, but he knew that this time coffee would only prolong having his friends over. “Nope! I’m fine!”
The doorbell rang.
Mrs Tweak rushed past Tweek to open the door, she was met with Craig’s handsome face etched with a polite smile. At least his father was still at the coffee shop, Craig always favored his mother for the obvious reason that Tweek’s father was batshit crazy. He supposed his mom had to be too; who would be crazy enough to marry Richard Tweak?
“Good evening Mrs Tweak, I’m here to take your son to prom.” Shit, right Craig! Fuck him, he knew his mom was a sucker for that polite facade.
His mom gushed, “Craig! Come in, come in! You all look amazing!”
“Hey Mrs Tweak!” Clyde came in after Craig, hand around Bebe’s waist. “Hi Mrs Tweak! Thank you for having us!” She said politely.
“Good evening Mrs Tweak.” Tolkien and Nicole came in after them. Tolkien handed her an expensive bottle of champagne. What the fuck? They weren’t going to spend the whole night here.
“H-he, Hi Mrs Tweak!” Jimmy came inside, hand-in-hand with Leslie.
“We hope we’re not keeping you from anything!” Clyde said cheerfully.
“Don’t worry! I've been waiting for this all week! My baby’s senior prom!” Mrs Tweak pinched Tweek’s cheek.
“Mommm stop it!” he squeaked. Maybe he imagined it, but he saw a faint smile on Craig’s face.
She clapped her hands together. “Ok boys,” she motioned towards Craig and Tweek, “Let me take photos of you two first, then we can get the others.”
She pulled them toward the fireplace. Tweek felt sweat form at the back of his neck, he figured his face must be burning hot, but at the same time he felt stiff like ice. Still, he had to force himself to act normal; he could get away with being jittery, but he was sure his mom would start to catch on. Come on, Tweek! Think of when things were normal, you and Craig holding hands…on dates…alone…wait, stop, don’t go there!
Craig’s hand felt like fire on his waist, and he was starting to get worried that his hand on Craig’s Chest was going to get clammy enough to leave a sweat stain, that would be so embarrassing, god Craig would never talk to him again! At their ten-year high school reunion, he would probably go around saying. ‘Yeah, remember Tweek? That spaz let his hand sweat leave a stain on my prom suit, he ruined the entire night for me! Yeah, he was a shit kisser too!’
“Augh!” he involuntarily let out. Craig’s grip on his waist tightened slightly, “Sorry!”
Mrs Tweak, being used to Tweek’s outbursts, called over the rest of the group, “Ok, now with everyone together.”
As they shifted positions, Craig whispered in Tweek’s ear when no one was looking, “Don’t worry, it’s almost over.” Tweek shivered at the sound of his voice, heart pounding.
After a few more clicks of the Tweaks family camera, Mrs Tweak put the camera down. “Thank you, darlings. Good luck with your prom!”
“Thank you, Mrs Tweak! They all chorused as they left. Tweek never left his house so quickly.
One awkward limousine ride for Tweek later, and they finally made it to prom. The entire time, he spent nervously laughing at Jimmy’s jokes and trying to ignore how Craig’s voice against his ear had made him feel.
It was so over for him; listen, Tweek understood that the normal thing at prom was to, well, firstly have a date, who you dance with and take photos with, but why was his junior year English teacher ushering in everyone who arrived to take a photo? That’s so lame; everyone around him had a date but him… and Craig.
So once again that’s how he found himself standing with Craig’s hand on his waist and standing in front of a sheet decorated with a medieval pastel castle and flowers with the words ‘Park County High School’ in gold cursive. Who chose fairytale as the theme this year anyway? Or right him and over half of the senior class this year.
“Ok boys smile!” fuck you, Tweek thought.
Inside the gymnasium, the overhead light was dimmed and warm, with fairy lights lining the gym’s walls mixed in with faux roses and peonies; there were white and pink balloons lining up in an arch to let them into the gym and in columns along the walls. The bleachers are folded in, making the area seem bigger than what Tweek remembered from yesterday’s P.E. class. The DJ is in the front of the mock dance floor; he’s a bored older man in his 40s who plays the same prom songs that their parents most likely had at their prom, along with the top 50s hits in the country.
Tweek looked around and started to recognise his classmates in their tuxedos and elegant dresses. He started to feel guilty; it’s his last month of high school. Soon enough, he won’t see them unless they come back to South Park during the holidays or during high school reunions. The thought starts to make his palms feel clammy again.
Next to him, Nichole nudges his shoulder, “Wendy’s team did a great job with the decorations, right?”
Tweek turned towards her. Nichole had a reassuring smile on her face. “Y-yeah, she really did!”
His friends really did look amazing, he spent too much time thinking of Craig to really take them in, Nichole had on a gold form fitting dress, her braids were tied up in a bun with the front pieces falling loosely framing her face, she grabbed his arm and called out to Tolkien who had on a matching gold tie, her white corsage and his boutonnière matched each other, “Tolkien! Wait for us!”
Tolkien waited for them to catch up. The rest of their group continued to find an open table. He kissed Nichole on the lips lightly when they caught up, “You look beautiful.”
She giggled, “You told me that so many times already!”
“And I’ll keep telling you for the rest of our lives.” Tweek walked behind them, feeling like a third wheel, but the type where he felt happy for his friends, proud of both Tolkien and Nichole for finding each other.
Tolkien turned towards him as they neared the table, “You good, man?”
“Ack! Yeah, I’m fine!” Tolkien patted his shoulder before sitting down.
Across from Tweek were Bebe and Clyde. Bebe had moved her chair over to where she was practically in Clyde’s lap, she also had on a very tight red dress with a slit down her right leg. Next to her, Clyde had on a black suit, red shirt, and black tie. They were taking photos together, talking excitedly to each other in between.
As he looked over to Bebe and Clyde, he felt Jimmy slap his back, “T-Tweek, I-I-I haven’t heard from y-y-you all ni-night!”
“Sorry Jim, how are you? Hi Leslie.” She waved at him, smiling. He never really talked to Leslie. When Tweek was younger, she would freak him out with her old-fashioned mannerisms and 60s fashion style, he thought she was a robot sent out to kill him, even once having a very vivid nightmare of Leslie turning into an advertisement sent down to destroy humanity.
“I’m g-g-great Tweek!” he caught Leslie by the waist, and pulled her in, “N-nothing like spending time with my h-h-oney.” Honey. Gross. Tweek shivered involuntarily at the dreaded nickname.
Leslie leaned over to kiss his cheek, her red lipstick leaving a bright red stain behind. “Jimmy, let's go dance!”
She got up and flattened her teal tulle dress. Grabbing his hands to help him up, “S-sorry Tweek, Duty C-calls!” Jimmy said to Tweek.
“It’s alright, I’m fine here.”
Leslie spoke up, “Tweek, why don’t you come dance with us? The more the merrier!”
He tried to hide his grimace. He may have accepted she wasn't a robot a long time ago, but sometimes her unyielding stare could catch him off guard. “No thanks, I can’t really dance, maybe later?” he said hesitantly.
Jimmy shrugged and grabbed his left crutch. “S-suit yourself.” he led Leslie to the dance floor.
Around him, Tolkien, Nichole, Clyde and Bebe also got up to the dance floor, leaving him alone- well, almost alone; Craig Tucker was once again sitting on the opposite side of the round table. He was on his phone, wired headphones on one ear. A girl Tweek didn’t recognize walked up to him; she had on a pink dress and a man that was a lot of cleavage. She puckered her lips towards Craig, “Hey Craig.”
He didn’t look up. “Hi.”
“What are you watching?” She was fidgeting with her press-on nails. When he didn’t respond, she continued talking, “You never responded to my messages.”
Tweek heard Craig sigh. He turned off his phone and looked up. “Sorry.” He said flatly.
Her face was flushed pink. “It’s ok! Would you maybe want to dance with me?”
That’s when Craig got up; he towered over her (and pretty much everyone in the school). “No.” With that he walked away.
Tweek felt himself get nauseous, ok maybe he turned her down, but she still asked, so she must’ve thought she had a chance? Why did she think that? And who was she? He didn’t remember any big-titted, brown-haired girls who were ever friends with him! Wait, what the hell! Tweek noticed her notice him; their eyes met, she smirked at him and left, presumably to follow Craig. What the fuck???
He immediately grabbed his phone just to try not to look like a total fucking loser, but he still felt his stomach churn. It doesn’t matter; it’s not like he has any control over who Craig talks to. They weren’t together anymore; it’s fine.
A couple of steps away, he hears Clyde stop Craig as he walks back to the table, “Hey man, who was that?”
Craig shrugged, “Some girl in my calc class, I forgot her name.”
Clyde laughed, “You’re such a dick, man! What’s the deal with her though, she’s kind of cute. Are you gonna ask her to dance?”
“No, she's not my type.”
Clyde looked at him, confused. Tweek recalls that all of Clyde’s exes had absolutely nothing in common except being completely out of his league looks-wise. “What is your type then?”
Craig stares at him completely serious, “Blonds.” Clyde cracks up at that. He pushes him back towards the table and makes his way towards Bebe again.
What the fuck did he mean by blonds?? Tweek grips his phone harder and starts to scroll down his social media feed quicker, not registering the videos in his head, trying his hardest to look casual as he sees Craig walk over from the corner of his eye.
“Tweek,” he calls out.
Tweek jumps in his seat, snapping his head forward. “Ah! Yes, Craig?” he must be imagining things again as he thinks he sees Craig’s ears turn red.
“I got you some punch, erm, it may have alcohol in it. I saw Cartman and Butters lurking around, but I think it’s safe.” He pushes forward a red solo cup.
Tweek feels himself light up, “Thank you, Craig.”
“No problem,” Craig watches as Tweek takes a sip and grimaces, “Looks like it’s spiked then?”
Tweek nods nervously, “Yeah, it is, it’s no problem though!” Craig watches him drink, and Tweek's face heats up. “Um, Craig?”
“Yeah?” That seemed to snap him out of whatever trance he was in.
“Are you err, going to sit?”
“Oh! Yeah, I am,” He sits a seat apart from Tweek.
Tweek looked up again to watch his classmates as he nursed his drink. He saw Wendy berating Stan and Kyle. They probably got up to something stupid. Kenny seemed to be sweet-talking Henrietta at the next table over, he’s surprised to see the goth kids here. They usually don’t attend these types of events, or well, it’s not all of them, just Henrietta and Michael. Cartman and his reluctant sidekick Butters are off to the side; Tweek recalls overhearing part of a scheme last week during AP Music Theory, something about prom king that Cartman was bragging to Stan.
At least he's not the only one going stag, even though being in the same company as Scott Malkinson was really embarrassing; well, never mind Sophie just pulled him towards the dance floor.
Tweek took another sip of his spiked punch; the music changed, this time a slow song. Tweek felt his mood worsen and Craig’s presence started to feel scalding. Two weeks ago Tweek had imagined this exact moment, sure he wasn’t the best dancer but Craig wouldn’t have minded, he would’ve led him towards the dancefloor and hold his waist like how he did when they took photos, they’d grin at each other when Tweek would accidentally step on his toes and as the song would end Tweek would lean up and stare at Craig’s dreamy dark green eyes and Craig would lean down and they’d kiss and that would be the song they played at their wedding and Tweek and Craig would live happily ever after!
“Ughhh!” Tweek groaned into his arm; he had already finished his drink.
“Do you want another drink?”
Tweek blinked up at Craig. “What?”
“I can get you one.”
Tweek stared up at him, Craig was being nice, he was offering him another drink, the same Craig who would hold his hand, who used to hand him his thermos and bring him to and from school, the same Craig that’s moving all the way to the West Coast in August while Tweek would go to the East, the same Craig that sat him down to talk.
“No,” Tweek said, looking away, “I’m fine.”
Craig nodded and shifted back into his seat; they didn’t dance together.
What did happen, though, was he was crowned prom king, as Tweek stood to the side, drinking another cup of the spiked punch that he served himself, watching as Craig danced with Bebe on the dance floor, and Clyde stood to the side, proud of his girlfriend for winning but sniffing because he lost to one of his best friends.
Tweek forced himself to shift his gaze away from the two of them, watching Cartman argue with the principal, “Hey, how come that asshole Craig got to be prom king? That’s unfair!! I got more votes than him!”
“And how would you know that, Mr Cartman?” That shut him up quickly.
Tweek ended up at Bebe’s house, a situation he hadn’t really found himself in since the 6th grade.
Bebe was slipping into another dress, a tight, short black one, for the after-party at Clyde’s house. She talked as she struggled to fit her hips inside the dress, “So what exactly happened, Tweek?”
He shifted from where he was lying on Wendy’s legs; he had left his suit jacket at home before booking it to Bebe’s.
“Yeah, we’re all curious; you and Craig had been dating for like forever,” Wendy added.
Tweek took another swing of the half-full pink Whitney Bebe had handed him to pre-game. He prayed that Nichole would hurry up and come out of the bathroom to rescue him. “Um, well, what do you want to know exactly?”
Bebe finally got her hips through and started adjusting the dress. “Well, like everything? How did it happen?”
Finally, Nichole walked in. Tweek looked at her with pleading eyes. “What are you guys talking about?” she asked as she sat down to fix her hair in the vanity.
“Tweek and Craig,” Wendy replied as she took the bottle from Tweek.
His prayers went unanswered when Nichole turned to look at him. “Can you tell us, Tweek? We won't pressure you if you don’t want to, though.”
Well shit, now he was practically obligated to, “Um, it's just we don’t see ourselves aligning in the future-”
Bebe groaned, “That’s the same thing Clyde told me! C’mon, we won’t tell anyone.”
Wendy pulls him up and nods, “Whatever is said in this room stays in this room.”
Tweek sits up, pulling his legs to his chest, “I mean it’s true…we’re going to two different sides of the country next year, it’s not sustainable?”
Nichole tilted her head, “So? I’m pretty sure all of us are doing long distance here.
Tweek looked up at the ceiling, “It’s my fault.”
All three of them looked at him eagerly. He sighed, “Two weeks ago Craig brought me over to talk at his house…”
He remembers it clearly, Craig had texted him to come over and Tweek had walked over to the Tuckers, when he got there they were alone, at first he assumed Craig was feeling lonely and sat on his lap to start kissing him, before they got too carried away though Craig had grabbed him by the shoulders and sat him down next to him, he turned away from Tweek to recapacitate himself before holding his hands and staring at him.
“Tweek, can we talk?”
Tweek immediately stiffened and felt his stomach drop. “Yeah, um, sorry. What happened?”
Craig looked at their joined hands before bringing a hand up to Tweek’s face. “We should talk about next year.”
Tweek’s chest tightened, “Next year?”
“Yeah, Next year…do you want to-” He stopped himself before retreating, “We’re going to be on opposite sides of the country. I don’t want to hold you back-”
Tweek tore his hand away; yeah, he was definitely going to throw up when he got home. “Are you breaking up with me?”
Craig’s face fell; he broke his composure, trying to grab Tweek, but Tweek was quicker. He stood up before Craig could touch him. “No honey, I just-”
“Don’t call me that!” Tweek’s eyes started to sting. “I thought you loved me.”
“I do love you! Tweek, can you please listen to me?!” Craig caught the end of his t-shirt.
Tweek slapped his hand away, on instinct. “No! What the fuck? You brought me here to break up with me? You dick! I’m not giving you the satisfaction. We’re done!”
Craig stopped. He ran his hand through his hair. “Tweek, that’s not what I meant. Let me explain.”
“Fuck you, Craig!” He ran out of the house. As he left, he heard Craig calling out for him.
“I blocked him when I got home.” He said to the three girls. He felt tears threaten to spill, his voice was wobbly.
“Do you know what he wanted to say?” Wendy asked quietly.
“What else would he say? He obviously wanted to break up with me.”
Nichole set aside the bottle. “Tweak, maybe you should’ve heard him out? Maybe he didn’t want to break up with you?”
“It’s not like it matters now… we’re graduating soon. We aren't getting back together anymore.”
Bebe smiled at him, “Tweek, why don’t you talk to him at Clyde’s party?
“Augh! I can’t! He probably hates me now!” Tweek started to freak out. It was better if he and Craig never talked again.
Bebe sat down and nudged his shoulder. “Not with the way he was looking at you at prom”
Tweek yelped, “What are you talking about?”
Nichole grinned, “He was totally checking you out the entire time!”
“Ack! No, he wasn’t! He was watching that stupid World Cup match on his phone the whole time!”
Nichole and Bebe exchanged glances, grinning at each other. “No, he wasn’t. Every time we looked over, he was staring right at you!” Nichole said.
Bebe piped up, “Yeah! While we were dancing, he kept sneaking glances over to where you were!”
Tweek stood up from Bebe’s really comfortable bed. “Nope! He doesn’t want anything to do with me!” He checked his phone and saw a missed message from Jimmy. “Ah! We’re going to be late; let's go!”
The girls all giggled at him and stood up to leave. “Are you sure you’re keeping that on? I’m sure Bebe has a short miniskirt you could borrow, you know, to impress the boys?” Wendy said while throwing an arm around his neck.
Tweek flushed, he hadn’t worn a skirt since elementary school, and he was looking to keep that streak up. “Ughh! Wendy, don't tease me!”
"Fine, fine." Wendy held up her hands. "No miniskirt. But you're missing a real opportunity."
"I'm really not."
They filed out of Bebe's room, down the stairs, and out the front door and into Bebe’s car, “Ok ladies, and Tweek, now for the big surprise of the night!” she opened the glove compartment and pulled out a bag of pills, “There’s five in here, should last the whole night, don’t worry Wendy I had them tested.”
Nichole leaned forward from the backseat, “What are those, Bebe?”
“Ecstasy, Clyde gave me these for today! I’m getting ready to get my world rocked tonight!” Tweek laughs from beside her, and Bebe hands them out to each of them.
“They should start to work in 30-ish minutes,” Wendy says as Tweek pops it into his mouth.
By the end of the short ride to Clyde’s house, Tweek feels perfectly fine; it’s only inside where he finally starts to feel a warm, euphoric feeling surrounding him.
Clyde grabs him in a side hug, “Tweek! I’m glad to see you, buddy!”
Tweek smiles back at him with all teeth. He feels giddy, he loves Clyde, dude. He’s such a great guy. “Clyde! I’ve missed you!”
Clyde laughs, “I missed you too, dude!” Clyde pulls him through the living room and into his makeshift drink station on his kitchen island, “Here, man, I’ll pour you a drink.” Tweek watches Clyde mix almost everything in the station; Clyde hands him the drink.
Tweek took a sip; normally he’d be worried about the burning sensation that alcohol brings him no matter how many times he drinks, but today he treasures that burn as he gulps down Clyde’s concoction.
“Geez, Tweek, slow down”, Clyde teases, hopping onto the island beside Tweek.
“It’s good, man!”
“Yeah? Hope you’re not a lightweight anymore, 'cause there’s a shit ton of alcohol in that.”
“I can manageee” Tweek's voice has a slight slur to it.
“Good man, figured the molly Bebe gave you isn’t helping you sober down,” He whispers. “Don’t tell anyone where you got it from, yeah? Don’t want anyone bothering me.”
Tweek mimed zipping his mouth shut. Clyde smiled and clapped his back. “Great! Now go have fun. I’ve got more guests to attend to.”
Tweek watched Clyde go and heard him shout out, “David! My man! Where have you been the whole night?”
Tweek got up to sit on Clyde’s counter instead. He looked up at the ceiling, resting his head on the cabinets behind him, when two very familiar figures walked in: Stan and Kyle.
“Hey Tweek, didn’t know you were here!” Stan said, his shirt way untucked and the top buttons undone, tie nowhere in sight; he took a drink of the beer he was holding.
“Hi Stan, hi Kyle.” he waved at them eagerly.
Kyle raised a brow, “Seems like you’re having a great time.”
“I am!”
Stan raised his beer, “Cheers to that.”
Tweek clinked his cup against Stan’s beer. “Cheers!”
Kyle looked up from the drink he was pouring, “Parties are always fun with you, Tweek.”
Tweek tilted his head at Kyle, his hair looked like fire under the harsh light of the kitchen. “What do you mean?”
“I’m not sure, like, you’re always doing something unpredictable.”
Tweek blinked at him. "Unpredictable?"
Stan chimed in, “Yeah! Like sophomore year when you started stripping on top of Tolkien’s pool table.”
Tweek recalled hearing that from secondhand accounts from Craig and Jimmy when he woke up the next morning wearing only his briefs and Craig’s zip-up; he didn’t remember how he ended up there; he remembered the shots he took beforehand, well, some of them… and the lines he did in the bathroom with what’s her face? He can’t even remember anymore.
Tweek stared at Stan, “I did do that!”
Kyle and Stan laughed. “Yeah, you did! Craig’s face was hilarious when he saw you taking off your shirt; he tossed you over his shoulder, and that was the last we saw of you that night.” Kyle said.
Tweek felt hot at the mention of Craig. “Ah, did he? I really don’t remember.”
“Where is Craig anyway? I got to beat that asshole up. He took my title today.” Stan said.
“Real confident that you were supposed to be prom king, huh, Stanley?” Kyle nudged him.
“Hey dude, Cartman totally said that the votes were in my favor when he went to rig the vote.”
Craig Craig Craig that’s all Tweek thought about, well at least he had his moment with him, he was so tall, his eyes were so deep and green Tweek loved the way his thick dark eyebrows would furrow in concentration when they would study together, or the way sweat shined on his tan skin in the summer, and how Tweek would run his fingers through his thick black hair when Craig would fall asleep before him.
“Rigged the votes, huh?” A deep, nasally voice said. Woah, just like Craig’s! It used to be Tweek’s favourite sound in the world; wait a minute, Craig?!
Tweek’s head snapped up. Craig was standing in the doorway, arms crossed with an amused smirk on his face. His top buttons were undone, and his sleeves were rolled up, with his tie loose around his neck. Tweek felt hot all over.
“Cartman was bragging about it all week, actually, I guess he didn’t get away with it in the end, though,” Stan said.
Craig shrugged and stepped inside. “Doesn’t matter to me, I won at the end of the day, right, Stanley?”
“Ugh, we get it, Tucker, you’re universally loved.” Stan spat out.
Craig’s eyes flickered over to Tweek; he smiled and softened his voice, “Hey Tweek.”
Tweek felt his heart hammering in his chest; he couldn’t tell if it was the drugs or Craig.
“Hi Craig,” he managed equally as soft.
Kyle looked between them, “We better go find Kenny. See if he has any weed left.”
Stan nodded, catching on, “Yeah, see you guys at school.”
They slipped out, leaving Tweek and Craig alone.
Outside of the kitchen, the party was still raging, the music practically dancing off the walls. Craig moved closer towards Tweek, leaning against the counter where he was sitting. Close enough where Tweek could feel the warmth coming off him.
“You looked nice,” Craig said, looking into Tweek’s eyes. His pupils were blown, green rimmed around them; Tweek wasn’t surprised; he figured Craig probably took a trip to the bathroom and got a bump of whatever before heading here.
Tweek just stared back at him. “At prom, and um, right now,” Craig continued, “You look good always, but I just wanted to tell you.”
Tweek was definitely blushing. “Ah, thank you!”
Tweek looked at him again and found Craig already staring at him.
“I missed you.” “I really missed you!” they said at the same time. They smiled and laughed at each other.
Craig pushed away from the counter where he was leaning and grabbed Tweek’s hand. “Can we talk, like actually?”
Tweek nodded, not trusting himself to speak.
Craig led him out of the kitchen, not before grabbing a mostly empty bottle of vodka. He winked back at Tweek, “For courage.”
They sat on Clyde’s guestroom’s bed, formerly his older sister’s bedroom. They hadn’t started to talk yet and instead started to pass the bottle between themselves, both properly inebriated now.
“I wasn’t going to break up with you,” Craig said quietly.
Tweek stared at him, with wide eyes. “You weren’t?”
Craig laid down “I was going to ask if you wanted to and maybe talk about what we would do once summer ended.” He pulled his arm over his eyes. “I never wanted to leave you, but after you freaked out, I figured maybe we’d break up anyway.”
Tweek felt like crying; how could he do that to Craig? “I’m sorry, I should've heard you out.”
Tweek cuddled up beside Craig, vodka left forgotten on the nightstand.
Craig brought a hand to his cheek. “I’m sorry I didn’t go after you.”
Tweek got up and kissed him. “I’m sorry,” he kissed him again, “I’m so sorry.”
Craig sat both of them up, bringing Tweek onto his lap till he straddled his lap. He kissed his jaw, “Don’t apologise, I love you so much, Tweek.”
Tweek gave him a sly smile, he felt bolder, “Show me how much you love me.”
Craig’s eyes were still dilated; he looked like he was in a daze. “Yeah… yeah, I can do that.”
Craig flips them over and lets Tweek fall onto the mattress. His blond hair is messy against the pillow; Craig has never seen a prettier view. He starts kissing down Tweek’s neck, sucking at it harshly, without care of the marks that would definitely be there tomorrow. His nimble hands unbutton Tweek’s shirt open to palm at his barely-there chest.
Above him, Tweek is whimpering, “Craig, hurry up! I need you!”
Craig bit at his nipple. “I’m taking my time with you tonight, honey,” he sits back up, staring down at a dishevelled Tweek “Hips up, baby.”
Tweek eagerly raises his hips, relishing in the way Craig’s hands feel against his bare skin as they slide his pants down his legs. Craig pushes his legs apart and swallows at the sight. Tweek flushes darker at how much Craig’s staring between his legs; he feels himself getting wetter at the attention.
“Craig, stop staring!” Tweek uses the heel of his foot to get Craig’s attention, who promptly captures his mouth in a desperate kiss.
“Fuck, I missed you so much, Tweek.”
Tweek’s panting as Craig circles his clit, “I-ah! Missed you to-!” his voice breaks up in a moan as Craig rubs harder.
Tweek feels like a vulgar whore with the way he can’t keep himself quiet as Craig pushes two of his fingers inside him, keening at him to go faster. At least he’s a very loved whore, Craig indulges him further and slides another one in. He moves his lips down to continue to kiss and mark Tweek’s neck. He feels himself get closer and closer to the edge; only Craig has ever made him feel this way, has seen him like this. Craig’s fingers speed up inside of him and on his clit till Craig suddenly stops. Tweek lets out a loud whine at that.
“P-please! Why did you stop! Don’t stop!” Tweek whined underneath Craig. He shut up as he saw Craig shuffle out of his pants. His cock strained against his briefs before Craig pulled those down too to reveal his full length.
“Will you let me put it in, hon?” Craig said almost innocently as he tapped the head on Tweek’s entrance.
“Yeshh!” Tweek almost chokes on his spit as he feels Craig finally fill him up, bottoming out almost immediately, the molly and vodka numbing out the strain of Craig entering him.
Craig raises Tweek’s legs over his shoulders and starts thrusting, hard and fast, Tweek’s clutching at his back and hair as they both furiously make out. Craig’s left hand comes down to rub at his clit further, making Tweek tighten up harder around his cock.
Craig moans into his ear, “Ah! Tweek babe, you’re so tight around me, I love you so much.” Tweek’s nails scrape his back harder in response. He feels himself reaching his limit again, this time Craig doesn’t stop him as Tweek lets out a drawn-out moan after reaching his climax.
He fucks Tweek’s overstimulated cunt, Tweek’s whines spurring his release, until Craig comes inside Tweek, too unsteady to remember to pull out, he pants onto Tweek’s shoulder, both of them coming down from their orgasms.
Craig raises himself above Tweek, they are still connected. They smile at each other dumbly and burst into giggles, Tweek leans forward to kiss Craig.
Craig then flips them over again, not wanting Tweek to sleep on top of their fluids. They pass out a few minutes later, covers reaching up to Tweek’s shoulders.
Tweek wakes up first and without as much of a headache as he expected; his mind, however, is still hazy from the night before. He starts to get up before noticing two things.
Number one, he's naked.
Number two, there’s a large tan hand wrapped around his midsection, holding him tighter as he tries to escape.
“What the fuck!” he exclaims. He looks back to see Craig Tucker lying next to him, also naked. Tweek’s blood goes cold; it goes even colder when he looks down and sees dried semen on his inner thighs and intimate areas.
“Shit!” he says, gripping his hair, “I’m pregnant!”
He can already feel himself spiralling again. Craig would wake up and realize what a horrible mistake had happened and would immediately run out, and in a couple of weeks when Tweek would get a positive pregnancy test, he would be nowhere to be found, with no choice left but to abort it he would go into the nearest Planned Parenthood only to have a worker come out and say, ‘sorry we’re closed, this specific location has been ordered by President Trump to shut down an hour ago never to be opened again.’
“You’re not pregnant,” a low, nasally voice comes from behind. Craig wrapped his arms tighter against Tweek. “I’ll buy you a Plan B later.” He said with a yawn.
“That’s it? ‘I’ll buy you a Plan B ’?” Tweek mocked.
“What else do you want me to say?” Craig's voice was still rough with sleep. “I can’t let you get pregnant yet.”
Tweek’s breath hitches at the implication. “You’re not leaving me?”
Craig sits up to fully face him. “I told you last night, I never planned to leave, and I’m not planning on leaving you again anytime soon.” he presses his forehead against Tweek’s shoulder blade and leaves a small kiss there.
Tweek’s quiet for a moment before speaking up again, “Ok, I’m sorry again for running out on you.”
Craig smiles against his skin and sits up again. He raises Tweek’s hand and kisses his knuckles. “It’s ok, honey. Why don’t we get changed and I’ll take you out for breakfast? We can sit down and talk.”
Tweek hugs Craig, “I was scared, but I think I’m ready now; let’s do this together.”
Craig presses a kiss to the top of his head. “Together,” he confirms, “let’s get you cleaned up, and then we can find a pharmacy, and some coffee.”
Tweek tilts his head up, and they both smile into a kiss. “I’d like that.”
He suddenly remembered where they are. "Oh Jesus! We're still in Clyde's house!"
Craig glances around and takes note of the girly wallpaper on the walls, "Yep, I think this was his sister's room"
"Geez, Craig! We have to leave before he sees us!"
As if on cue, Tweek snaps his head towards the door as he hears a loud bang followed up by a nasally, "Goddamnit!"
"I think he's up."
Loud footsteps come up the stairs. Tweek's eyes go wide.
"Craig-" Craig holds a finger to his lips, listening. The steps pause outside the door.
Clyde's voice is groggily and muffled behind the door, "Tweek? Is that you?"
Both boys stare at each other
"Fuck off!" Craig answers for him.
"Craig?! Is that you man? You decent?"
"Go away, Clyde."
"Fuck it man. You better help me clean up this shit." He yawns, after a while they heard Clyde walk back downstairs.
Craig turns towards Tweek grinning, "I'm not helping him," He lays down on the bed, taking Tweek down with him. "We should leave soon."
Tweek looks up, Craig's eyes have started to close again, he wraps Craig's arm around him closer, "Yeah we should."
They both don't move.
Fuck it. Tweek thinks, let all their friends see them, Tweek and Craig are finally back together.
