Alright, Yumenosaki is a prestigious academy. Its main pride is the Idol Course. It had birthed lots of famous idols before, and because of that, corruption runs deep. VERY deep
Because students thought they could be idols as long as they have Yumenosaki's name you know what I mean
In this course, we must form a unit. The largesr and most influential one is Chess, that has a guild-like system, which I'm a part of. But even within Chess, you could count with a few fingers who're passionate and who're not
I will not let you underestimate how big Chess was. At some point in time, over half of the student body are a member of Chess. It's MASSIVE
Eichi Tenshouin came. And u could say reformed the entire school
How? By placing a common enemy, aka The Eccentrics
The Eccentrics contained 5 exceptional students. Our student council president, a boy who has an entire cult backing him up, a famous child actor, a person whose unit reigned at the top of Yumenosaki and known for his perfection, and a genius or some sort I never know whats the deal with Sakasaki tbh
And Tenshouin was like "they're the reason u always fail. Because their talents are wayyyyyyy better than yours and that's why you're failing lololol" and of course the students are buying it. They need someone to take the blame for their own incompetence
I was busy with my own thing at this time, but I heard the bullying those 5 got was extreme and very severe

There's another reason why Tenshouin did this other than to create a common enemy. Tenshouin has his own unit, and by "defeating" them, he can rise like a savior
Anyways he also introduced Dream Festival, where we must compete/perform against each other and stuff. And he made sure this DreamFes contributes HEAVILY to our grades. Meaning, if we fail, or didn't perform, or didn't rank high enough, we'll destroy our fucking grades and need to flunk out of school. Many students were a victim of this. Literally the reason why Yumenosaki has a graveyard. They all committed suicide
He also placed a rule that every units must contain members between 2-5 people. That way, an Eccentric couldn't perform themselves, and to prevent another guild-like unit such as Chess
I'm a lyricist through and through and I tried my very best to keep my unit (all from Chess's pieces) who filled with slackers stayed up float. But it's not

I'm only one guy and there's a lot of DreamFes and I truly tried my best but at the same time they won't fucking listen dude. We lost badly. They shifted the blame to me

And that's why I literally couldn't speak

I miss singing so bad that's why I even went to Yumenosaki this shit sucks ass

If only the consequences for losing DreamFes isn't that severe, maybe they won't be that angry and maybe I can still sing
Nowadays, you need a unit to survive at Yumenosaki. I'm lucky to have one. A second year in Seina's class, Sasaki, whose motivation isn't as good but he's a nice kid and wanting to try and that's all that matters to me

Our world is called Twisted Wonderland. It is, as you know, a world filled with magic and monsters. The entire population, in general, is split into two: Mages and Non-mages.
On the species itself, we have many. Humans, of course, whose entire population mostly consisted of Non-mages; beastmen, who have characteristics of an animal; merfolk—like beastmen but wih sea creatures; fairies, which are split into two: diurnal and nocturnal. We have other species too, such as dwarves and a few others.
Magic in its actuality really depends on how big your magic pool is. That is, our way of saying how much magic you have in your body. It also depends on your visualization. That's why arcane academy, such as Night Raven College is a huge deal. We NEED to train to be able to put our magic to use.
Other than normal spells, we also have something called Signature Spell. It's a spell unique to a person. It's developed subconsciously.
"Off With Your Head" is Housewarden Rosehearts's Signature Spell. The spell put a collar on a person's neck and nullified their magic. In an arcane academy, this will put that person in a big disadvantages.
