Work Text:
“How much longer are you going to be scrolling on TikTok for?” Is the first thing Taki says to Harua when he enters their dorm that evening, poorly concealed amusement filling his voice.
“Let me live,” Harua shoots back without sparing him a glance.
“Hey, no judgments here,” his best friend says as he puts down a plastic bag of what Harua suspects to be convenience store kimbap on his desk. “I was just wondering if you would ever resurface to society and go out to play with us sometimes instead of doomscrolling every weekend.”
“Probably not.”
“Fair,” Taki then pulls the blankets off of Harua and tugs him up to a sitting position. “Come on. Up. You should at least eat something. I brought you-”
“My favourite kimbap?”
“Correct.”
“You know me so well.”
Taki throws him a well, duh look and Harua pats his shoulder gently as a thank you.
“So how was your day today?”
“Really good,” Taki sits on the floor next to Harua to accompany him as he eats his dinner. “Yuma, Jo, and I hung out at Kei-hyung’s house.”
“By hung out, you mean you guys ate all his food and hijacked his home theatre system.”
“You bet.”
“Nice.”
“But we also got introduced to the guy he’s been seeing, so there’s that.”
Harua perks up at the juicy piece of information. “Who is it?”
“Some PT named Fuma from the gym he goes to. He was cool.”
“Cool how?”
“I asked him how strong he was and he answered by doing squats with Yuma on his back.”
Harua barely manages to not choke past his laughter. “I bet Yuma loved that.”
“More than you could imagine. He’s already asked Fuma if he would be around Kei-hyung’s place again next week.”
“And is he?”
“He said most likely yes,” Taki says excitedly. “I’m gonna ask him to lift me next. It looked fun. Maybe I’ll sit on his back while he does push-ups or something!”
“Hmm…” Harua hums.
“What?”
“Did it occur to you that you guys just ruined their romantic weekend together? And that you’re planning to do it again next week?”
“Oh,” Taki blinks, then thinks for a second. “Well, whatever. Kei-hyung knows we need to vet his possible partners before anything serious can happen between them, anyway.”
Harua wants to tell Taki that hey, their oldest hyung is a fully grown twenty-eight-year-old man who does not need the approval of uni students eight years younger than himself before he can have a casual or a serious relationship, but decides against it because for some reason, Kei does seek out the kids’ approval before dating anyone. He’s just incredibly soft and thoughtful like that.
“What about you?” Taki asks back. “What did you do? Did you find anything interesting on TikTok?”
“You joke,” Harua deadpans, picking up on the teasing lilt of Taki’s voice before the sentence even fully leaves his mouth. “But I did, in fact, find a new favorite account.”
Taki groans. Harua has a new ‘favorite account’ every single week depending on his hyperfixation at the moment. In just a few months, his favorite account has varied from a handsome nail artist that specializes in glow-in-the-dark nails, a handsome cake decorator who makes reptile-related puns on all his voiceovers, a handsome blind box collector who makes silent reviews and reactions while unboxing them, and a whole bunch of other handsome people that Taki can’t even bother to remember the niches of. Either way, they all have one very important thing in common.
“You don’t say.”
“Yeah!” Because if there is one thing Harua will not do, it’s be bothered by the lack of enthusiasm from Taki. “I watched a bunch of his videos today.”
“So what does he do? Jump rope with his shirt off while telling you random science facts?” Taki guesses teasingly. “Puts on makeup while ranting about the possibility of his favorite idol RPS coming true?”
“No.” Never mind the fact that Harua probably would watch both of those TikToks should they ever come across his FYP, and thinks about how validated he would feel if someone were to confirm his suspicions about the nature of the relationship between Zhang Hao and Sung Hanbin. But that’s another topic for another day. “It’s different, this time.”
“How?”
“He doesn’t give his real name away, for one. And two, he has never shown his face in a single video.”
Taki raises an eyebrow in surprise. “Really?”
“Mhm.”
“You. Shigeta Harua. Watching video after video that doesn’t have a handsome guy’s face in it?” He says in disbelief. “What has the world come to!”
Harua smacks him on the thigh as a retaliation. “I watch videos without handsome guys in it!”
“Yeah. Videos with pretty girls in it.”
“I just like watching girls show off their nails and keychains!”
“And I respect that.” Taki moves his leg away from the immediate line of fire before he gets hit again.
Harua huffs at his deflection. “Anyway. He goes by Maki, and he does a bit of everything in his day in the life videos.”
“Like vlogs?”
“Kinda, yeah,” Harua shrugs. “He has some cooking videos, study with me videos, and for the voiceovers he talks about life advice and answers questions and stuff. And he does song covers.”
“Ah…” Taki says, realization hitting. “Sexy speaking voice?”
Harua nods in agreement immediately. “Very.”
“That explains everything.”
“Let me live!”
Taki ruffles Harua’s hair fondly. “Never change, Harua.”
And if that night Harua falls asleep to a video of the faceless TikTok guy making chocolate brownies while giving advice on how to make friends in another country, he doesn’t tell Taki about it. (Though he suspects he doesn’t need to, judging by the disappointed shake of his best friend’s head that greets him the second he wakes up in the morning.)

Make avocado egg toast for breakfast before class with me!
[Audio Transcript]
I’ve been craving this toast for breakfast cause I eat it all the time at home during holidays, so I’ll make it for you guys today since I have a bit of a late start. First, you need your favorite loaf of bread, eggs, and of course, the avocado. Salt and pepper too. I had to leave my room to get some of these ingredients yesterday. Can you believe that? Me, leaving my dorm room?
Oh but speaking of, I may or may not have come across the prettiest person on campus on the way to the store. He was walking out of this building and I was on the bus so I couldn’t exactly stop and say hi, but I swear he looks like he stepped out of a manga or something.
I don’t know who he is and I’ve never seen him before, so chances are we don’t do similar majors and don’t attend classes in the same building, but I wish I could run into him again. Not that I’d have anything of value to say, but maybe he’d appreciate an avocado toast? And this is how this plate turned out. Pretty yummy, if I do say so myself.
rururung looks delicious!
> em aye kay eye it really is, you should try it sometime 🥑
“Harua, do you wanna go out and-” Taki stops in his tracks when he sees that Harua is focusing deeply on his phone instead of writing his paper. “Really? Again?”
Harua sighs, putting his head in his hands. “I don’t know what’s wrong with me, I just can’t stop watching him.”
“Give me that.” Taki plucks the phone out of his hands and watches the TikTok currently playing. Of course it’s a video of the guy that Harua has been watching for the past couple weeks, this time of him typing on his laptop doing his assignment while explaining in his smooth, pleasant voice why he wants to be a social worker after graduation.
The TLDR is that Maki was an orphan in the system whose case gets taken care of by the sweetest social worker, who ended up placing him in a house so perfect that the family decided to adopt Maki and shower him with love even to this day, and he wants to do the same for a child who may be living through tough times.
I know it’s a far-fetched goal, Maki is saying in the voiceover, but if I could make even the life of one child easier then I’d be happy. Taki has to admit that the sentiment gets to him too, even if he can’t personally relate.
Harua, on the other hand, sighs in the lovestruck way that Taki has only ever seen him do over Seishiro Nagi. “He sounds like the nicest person ever, don’t you think?”
“That is very nice of him, yes,” Taki swipes the app away and hands the phone back. “But still, you don’t know if that’s a persona that he puts on for social media or if that’s really how he feels.”
“I think that’s really how he feels.”
“How would you know?”
“I can feel it.”
“You don’t even know the first thing about him,” Taki points out.
“Yes I do.”
“Yeah? What’s his real name?”
“I know things about him that matter.”
“And his name isn’t one of them?”
“Shut up,” Harua mumbles. “It’s not my fault that he goes by a fake name on the account.”
“Okay, and how would you address this love of your life if you don’t even know his name?”
“You think he’s the love of my life?”
Taki smacks him on the back of the head with a pillow.

Meal prep overnight oats with me + pretty boy update!
[Audio Transcript]
Since a lot of you guys have been asking me for updates about the pretty campus boy, I’ll tell you all about it while I show you my quick breakfast of choice these days, oatmeal! To make this, you only need oats, your yogurt of choice, some milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, and whatever topping you like.
Anyway, I was on the bus again the other week and I saw my brother’s junior talking to him in front of the library. I was running late for class, so I couldn’t get off and say hi this time either. So then I asked my brother about the pretty boy, but he also doesn’t know much about him from what I described.
Good news is, he said he would try to ask his junior for me if pretty boy minds being introduced to me, in exchange for me baking my brother’s favorite strawberry cheesecake the next time we go home. So pretty boy and I are two degrees of separation away right now, but I’m hoping to change that soon.
Wish me luck! And this is how my oats turned out. I can keep them in the fridge and they’ll last me about four days. Pretty yummy, if I do say so myself.
rururung i didn’t know you had a brother! he sounds nice
> em aye kay eye i do! he’s 4 years older but acts like he’s 4 years younger than me. hes annoying but i love his bf so i tolerate his existence
“What are you doing this weekend?” Taki asks as he drops his books on the table next to Harua’s laptop. The study room is empty now, as most of the students have cleared out as soon as their Friday afternoon classes end.
“Binging that BL that Yuma’s been shoving down my throat for the past month, probably,” Harua says, eyes glued to the screen as he fixes the format of his essay references page. “Why?”
“Wanna go on a blind date?”
“With who?”
“Some guy.”
“What guy?”
“Dunno,” Taki shrugs. “This senior in one of my classes said his brother wanted to go out with you. Apparently he’s nice and athletic. You like athletic.”
Harua looks away from his laptop, finally. “Do you have a picture or anything?”
Taki shakes his head. “He said his brother is handsome, though.”
“Is he anything like the last blind date you set up for me?”
Taki groans in embarrassment. “I told you I was sorry about him!”
“Are you sorry about the fact that he was only looking to hook up with a guy to satisfy his curiosity, or the fact that he has a girlfriend who wants to watch us while he finds out?”
“Harua!” Taki whines, though he looks apologetic. “I didn’t know about either of those things when I asked you to go on the date, okay!”
Harua laughs at the look on his best friend’s face. It had been humiliating at the time, sure, but it’s a hilarious story to tell now. Briefly, he wonders if that guy and his girlfriend ever satisfied their collective curiosity. He’d pay a pretty penny to hear that story.
“I’m kidding,” Harua smiles. “But I’m afraid I’ll have to turn down the invite.”
“Thought so,” Taki mutters. “You accidentally arrange a bad date once and you lose your best friend’s trust forever.”
Harua ruffles Taki’s hair in apology and the topic of a blind date never comes up again.

Prepare a focaccia for a potluck dinner with me!
[Audio Transcript]
You guys kept asking and asking for an update on the pretty boy situation, and I don’t know how tens of thousands of people can suddenly be so invested in my pathetic love life, but what the hell.
So my brother ended up asking his junior if his friend would like to meet me, but the pretty boy said no. I’m not sure what went wrong, but I know it’s my brother’s fault somehow… kidding! And Nico if you’re watching this, no I’m not kidding. But regardless, anyone is allowed to say no to anything at any time so I get it, no hard feelings whatsoever. But to everyone in my comments asking for tips to ask their crushes out, I’m sorry. This is the first time I’ve ever asked to be introduced to someone and I am zero for one on that front. Though if anyone has any ideas, why don’t you guys leave a comment and we can help each other out.
Oh and by the way, I’m making this bread for my fake dad’s meet-my-boyfriend dinner. Have I said that yet? Not this exact one though, this one is for practice because I don’t want to embarrass my fake dad in front of the guy he’s absolutely obsessed with. I’ll make another one closer to the day.
So this is how the bread turned out. I think I would put a little more garlic butter next time, just to balance it out a bit. But not bad for a first attempt, right? It’s pretty yummy, if I do say so myself.
Harua taps the comment section and scrolls through it, liking the comments that insinuates that it’s the other person’s loss for missing out on such a great opportunity to meet him. Afterwards, he leaves a comment that says we need a storytime on how you obtained a fake dad (and the bread looks so good i wanna eat it), and feels giddy when Maki likes the comment an hour later coupled with the promise to follow up on Harua’s request for a storytime in a later video.
A few nights later finds Harua tossing and turning in his tiny single bed, feeling both exhausted but somehow also not sleepy. He checks his phone and the clock reads 02:24 AM, meaning he has been trying to sleep for the past three hours. He turns his head and sees Taki sleeping soundly, mouth hanging open as he dreams. Harua sighs, thanking his lucky stars that he has a free day tomorrow and doesn’t have to wake up early for classes because he doesn’t think he can concentrate if he had to.
Resigning to his sleepless night fate, Harua unlocks the phone and subconsciously opens TikTok like he has been doing for the past month whenever he has even a minute of free time. The first thing on his screen is a new song cover from Maki, uploaded just three minutes ago. The clip shoots only his fingers as he sits on the keyboard, but his voice can be heard loud and clear.
Shine, it’s your golden hour.
He closes his eyes and listens as Maki’s voice rises and soars as the song builds, hitting all the right notes and landing gently when it ends. Harua lets the video loop over and over as he closes his eyes again, letting himself drown in the comforting cadence of Maki’s voice.
When he reopens them, the sun is high in the sky and Taki has long gone. And for the first time in a long time, Harua wakes up feeling content and well-rested.

Harua is getting ready to spend yet another night lying in bed binging BLs and scrolling through TikTok when Taki pulls his blanket off of him in one swift motion.
“Oh no you don’t,” Taki says, pulling the blanket just out of Harua’s reach. “We have stuff to do today.”
“It’s Saturday.”
“Exactly.”
Harua groans. “What stuff do we have?”
“Kei-hyung invited us over for dinner,” Taki says, showing Harua a message on his phone. “See?”
“He sent this six days ago, and you’re only telling me this now?”
“Sorry,” Taki says, and to his credit he does look apologetic. “It completely slipped my mind until just now, when Yuma asked what I’m bringing.”
“We have to bring things?”
“It’s like a potluck thing, I think…” Taki reads over the message one more time. “Yeah. He said there’s gonna be nine of us.”
“Taki, I don’t even know nine people.”
“Come on. He wants to introduce us to his boyfriend now that they’re official,” Taki explains with a smile on his face. “I think it’s cute. He deserves a good, healthy relationship, and it's our turn to support him now.”
“I agree,” Harua concedes, and finds that he genuinely doesn’t mind abandoning his original plans, if it means seeing his faux father figure with his new romantic partner who better be treating Kei the way he deserves. “But it’s only because I haven’t gotten to meet this boyfriend of his.”
“I think you’d like him,” Taki says, putting on his jacket. “Fuma-hyung is awesome.”
“So do you know who else is coming?” Harua asks from where he’s standing by the mirror, carefully applying a bit of blush to brighten his complexion in an attempt to not look like he just spent the entire day flopping around in bed, then following it up with his trusty pink gloss. Perfect. “Besides Jo and Yuma, I mean.”
“I think Fuma-hyung’s inviting some people, don’t know who though.”
Harua hums out an acknowledgement. “Well, I hope we get along, then. But if we don’t and the dinner is awkward, you have to pretend to have a stomach ache so we can escape together.”
“Deal,” Taki says agreeably, linking their pinkies together and sealing their pact.
The pact, as it turns out, is wholly unnecessary. Because not only is Kei’s new boyfriend Fuma incredibly cool and strong and can eat an entire burger in three bites, but he’s also a huge Pokémon nerd. Harua loves him. He even loves the two guys Fuma has taken under his wing and introduced to them — Euijoo who looks like Ponyo and Nicholas who also happens to be Taki’s senior, both three years older than himself — because they are both equally cool and fashionable and handsome, even if their flirting is borderline nauseating at times.
Dinner and drinks are shared between the eight of them and it gets inhaled in a chaotic flash, and now somehow Fuma has taken to assigning a Pokémon to everyone around the table like it’s the most natural thing in the world.
“You’re obviously Sprigatito,” he tells Yuma after assessing him for 0.2 seconds.
“Oooh!” Taki exclaims, clapping in excitement. “He is! You’re so right!”
“And you, Harua, are Espeon.”
“Do me, hyung, me!”
“Taki, you are Pikachu. Clearly.”
Taki nods in satisfaction, a grin on his face. “Clearly.”
Fuma gets through all of them in scarily quick succession — Jo is Glaceon, Kei is Umbreon, and Nicholas and Euijoo are Minun and Plusle respectively — and Harua has to admit that this has got to be some kind of insane hidden talent.
“Hyung, you should start charging people and do this full-time,” he tells Fuma who’s knocking back a glass of somaek courtesy of Euijoo. “That was amazing.”
Fuma laughs good naturedly, ruffling Harua’s hair. “I wish.”
Out of the corner of his eyes, Harua can see Kei watching them interact with honey dripping from his eyes and a gooey, lovestruck smile on his face. Clearly, the kids aren’t the only ones completely taken by the wondrous perfection that is Murata Fuma. Deep down, Harua knows for a fact that Kei could not give less of a fuck about Pokémon, but he’s having the time of his life just listening to Fuma talk about it anyway. Harua is absolutely giddy on behalf of his fake dads.
“When Riki comes, you should assign him one,” Nicholas says from Fuma’s other side, breaking Harua’s train of thought.
“Is he still coming?” Euijoo asks as he mixes yet another somaek, for Nicholas this time. “I thought he got held up.”
“He’s almost here, he texted earlier.” Nicholas accepts the drink and drops a quick kiss on the top of Euijoo’s head as a thank you. Harua suppresses a smile at the sight, and thinks about how good it is to have new gay older brothers and fathers in his life.
“Who’s Riki?” Yuma slurs from across the table with his head pillowed on Jo’s shoulder, already more than halfway drunk from Euijoo’s endless alcoholic concoctions distributed throughout dinner.
“Riki’s my little brother,” Nicholas answers. “He’s two years younger than you.”
“Looks like we won’t be the smallest anymore,” Taki says to Harua. “Finally.”
Nicholas laughs, but he tries to cough to cover it up. Taki’s eyes narrow at him suspiciously. “What?”
“Nothing, nothing.” Nicholas waves it away, but Fuma is now snickering behind his hand.
“What is it?” Taki whines, hating the fact that he’s out of the loop. “What!”
Just as Fuma opens his mouth, a voice bellows out from the direction of the front door.
“Fuma-hyung! I’m here!” The voice says, and Harua hears the usual commotion of belongings being dropped, shoes being kicked off, and jackets being discarded as quickly as possible. “I’m so sorry I’m late! The oven kept turning itself off and it took me so long to bake these!”
“We’re in here, Riki!” Fuma shouts back.
“Hi everyone,” the voice says again, getting closer this time.
Harua turns his head and almost gapes in shock as the newcomer comes into view, because there is absolutely nothing little about Nicholas’s little brother. The guy now standing in the living/dining room of Fuma’s apartment is big, for the lack of a better word. He appears to be no less than six feet tall and at least double the width of Harua, his exposed arms practically the size of Harua’s head.
Oh shit. He’s hot, Harua thinks dizzyingly, thanking his lucky stars that he’s already seated lest he topple over in his slightly inebriated state. What the fuck.
“Hi,” Riki says, and once again Harua’s taken aback by the contrast of his built physique versus the charming, boyish dimpled smile, and the sparkling look in his eyes. Fuck. “I’m Riki.”
“Nice of you to join us,” Nicholas says, grabbing the tray of food off of Riki and putting it down for a second before immediately tearing into it. “And for making my favorite bread.”
“It’s a focaccia,” Riki says with a hint of frustration in his voice. “I’ve told you that like a hundred times!”
Before the two brothers could bicker, Fuma steps up behind Riki and pushes him along. “Everyone, this is Riki. My son.”
The youngest boy makes a quick lap of the room and introduces himself to everyone — enthusiastic Kei, half-asleep Yuma, gentle-lovely-wonderful-kind Jo, and incredibly excited Taki who immediately yells “we have the same name and you look just like a Flareon!” to his face — before finally landing in front of Harua.
“Hi,” the boy says brightly. “I’m Riki.”
“Harua,” he finds himself saying, and the way Riki’s big palms envelop Harua’s own so easily when they shake hands doesn’t escape the older boy’s notice. “Nice to meet you.”
“It’s my pleasure,” Riki says. “Actually-”
“He’s been dying to meet you, Harua,” Nicholas says from where he’s sitting. “Asked me to introduce you guys and everything.”
“What?” Harua asks, not following.
“Don’t listen to him, he’s drunk,” Riki says, laughing nervously. “Shut up, Nico.”
“No,” Nicholas says, popping another slice of bread in his mouth. “You kept pestering me about asking Taki to introduce you and you got rejected. I would never let you live that down.”
“Um, what?” Harua asks again.
“Oh, right! Your brother!” Taki speaks up as if a lightbulb just went off in his head like a cartoon. “Your brother wanted to go on a blind date with Harua but he said no!”
The dots have barely connected in Harua’s brain before he hears Riki’s yell of surprise.
“A date?!” He asks, his voice high. “I never asked for a date!”
“You said you wanted to meet him,” Nicholas says matter-of-factly.
“Yes, because I wanted you to introduce us,” Riki emphasizes. “As friends.”
“You have a crush on him,” Nicholas replies in the same tone, as if this newly acquired fact isn’t sending pure electric shock through Harua’s nervous system. “What do you mean you wanted to be friends?”
“Oh my god,” Riki says, horrified. “Are you telling me that you told Harua that a stranger wants to go out with him? When he knows jack shit about me?”
Taki nods as he recalls the incident. “Yeah, pretty much.”
“Oh my god,” Riki puts his head in his hands in mortification. “Of course he would say no! Don’t you know how many creepy guys there are on campus just looking for pretty students for dates!”
“Pretty?” Harua repeats, but his voice is drowned out by Taki asking “no, how many?” to Riki.
“What, no-” Riki is frustrated now, a second away from hitting Nicholas over the head with a plate. “It doesn’t matter! That’s not the issue here.”
Riki then turns to Harua apologetically.
“I’m so sorry for this,” the younger boy says, and Harua could only nod, unsure what this apology was even for.
“You have to show him how sorry you are,” Nicholas calls out, now clearly inebriated. “Go do something for him!”
“What the fuck are you talking about, Nico.” Riki scowls, and Harua would be lying if he doesn’t find it a little hot. “This is all your fault.”
“Riki is good at singing,” Euijoo is saying now, and Harua is very quickly losing track of the conversation being had by all the drunk people in this room. “Make him sing for you!”
“Juju,” Riki is flushed now, and he looks like he could use a shot of soju ASAP. “Stop. Talking. Please.”
“Sing! Sing! Sing! Sing!” Yuma starts chanting from across the room, and Harua has no idea when he even gained consciousness. Next to him Jo is sitting nicely and quietly, not making trouble for Riki or anyone else. Harua adores the fuck out of him.
“Yeah Riki,” Fuma pats the youngest boy on the shoulder and hands him a microphone from God-knows-where. “Didn’t one of your videos go viral recently? Last I checked it had like, a hundred thousand likes or something.”
“What, really?” Euijoo asks, eyes sparkling in excitement. “See, I told you people will notice your talent! What did I say!”
“You did say that,” Riki mumbles, now looking at the ground with a smile. “Thank you, hyung.”
“Let’s hear you sing that song, then. As a thank you to your supportive hyungs,” Nicholas spurs him on. “What was it called again?”
“Golden hour,” Riki replies automatically, turning the TV on to set up a little karaoke machine that Fuma apparently has lying around.
“I love that song,” Harua says, perking up. “I’ve been listening to it a lot before bed.” Of course he means he listens to the em aye kay eye version of the song, but no one else has to know that. Aside from Taki, of course, who’s giving him a side eye that Harua’s pretending not to see.
“Okay,” Riki relents, and selects the song. “Just this one time.”
As the opening notes start to play, Harua closes his eyes, fully intent on enjoying Riki’s singing even if he knows deep down it won’t live up to the version he listened to at least a hundred times before bed.
Riki takes a breath, and the second the words it was just two lovers leave his lips, Harua freezes, eyes widening as something dawns upon him. He’s familiar with his voice. He has heard this voice before. In fact, he was listening to this exact voice as he got dressed this morning, as he wandered around the grocery store before buying a tub of ice cream for this potluck, and as he tried to finish his neverending assignments before his numerous deadlines the entirety of last week. He could recognize this voice anywhere, drunk or not.
Riki sings as beautifully as Harua knows he would, the rise and fall of his voice somehow even better in person than any high quality microphone and camera could ever hope to capture. When the song comes to a close and Riki bows to the cheers and applause of everyone in the room, Harua gets up on his feet as if on autopilot and walks over to him.
“Hey, Riki?” Harua finds himself saying, liquid courage flowing through his veins and his heart going a hundred thousand miles a minute. “Can we talk outside for a minute?”
Harua may not clearly remember the exact conversation they had or even the seconds leading up to their first kiss, but what he can remember is this:
The way Riki’s larger body pin his own up against the wall of Fuma’s balcony as if shielding him from the rest of the world, the way his giant hands circle around Harua’s slim waist gently but protectively, and most of all, the way Riki tastes and feels and sounds as they kiss, open-mouthed and wet and hot and delicious and it feels so fucking good to do. Riki kisses Harua like he’s starving for it, licking and tasting every crevice of Harua’s mouth like it’s the only thing keeping him alive. Harua could barely think, his senses overloading with the feel of this man pressed up against him and how freeing it all feels.
Harua can do little to stop the whine that escapes him when the front of his already tight jeans brush against Riki’s strong thigh, and it only serves to rile Riki on further. One of his hands is on the back of Harua’s neck now, moving it this way and that as Harua follows, pliant and willing. He wouldn’t normally be this submissive, not really — but the possessive and wild way Riki is devouring him clouds his mind and turns his brain to goo in the best way possible.
So for now, he lets the younger boy take and take and take, because even in his pleasure-induced haze, he knows that he won’t let Riki go that easily and that he’ll get his turn eventually.
“Harua,” he feels Riki whisper hotly against his ears.
“Huh?” Harua is panting now, cheeks flushed red and breaths caught in his throat.
“Lift your legs for me,” Riki rasps out, and in a split second of clarity Harua realizes Riki’s hands have wandered to the back of his thighs and right under his butt to support his weight. When did that happen?
Harua does as he is told, and all of a sudden he has his legs wrapped around Riki’s middle and they’re kissing again, somehow even closer this time.
He doesn’t recall how long they remain out on the balcony before getting yelled at by the hyungs to come in, how they left Fuma’s house in what must be a hurry, or how he ended up in Riki’s bedroom where he spent the night and the next morning making Riki beg and cry and come — over and over and over until they are spent.
When he comes to himself again in what could only be past noon, Harua turns to his side to look at Riki, the younger boy still deep in sleep. There are still remains of tear tracks under his eyes and halfway down his cheek from when Harua had ruthlessly edged him sometime last night, and he had taken it like the perfect puppy that Harua just knew he would be.
Harua smiles to himself, then cuddles up to Riki’s side. The younger boy’s arms open subconsciously, welcoming Harua into them and Harua lays his head on a massive bicep, eyes closing again.
I knew it, Harua thinks, seconds before falling back asleep, feeling warm, safe, and content. I knew this boy was perfect for me.

PRETTY BOY UPDATE!!! (ft. the voice of MY pretty boy. MINE. MINEEE!!!)
[Audio Transcript]
Hi everyone, I guess this is the first time I’m showing my face on this account. I wasn’t sure what video to make while I give you this huge life update but I literally cannot stop fucking smiling…
So anyway, I don’t really know how we got here but pretty boy and I are dating now! We’ve been exclusive for almost two months. Like, I get to call him my boyfriend. And I won’t show his face on here cause he doesn’t want to, but trust me he is so pretty it’s unfair.
[door opening]
hey [beep], what are you doing?
I’m making a video about how you and I got together. Do you wanna be in it? It could just be your voice if you want.
No, I trust you to tell it. I’ll wait in your room, okay? Call me when you’re done.
Okay, babe.
[door closing]
Sorry about that. And sorry about the beep earlier, he said my real name, so. Where was I?
…Oh, yeah. You remember when I said I’m meeting my fake dad’s boyfriend at dinner? So yeah, pretty boy turns out to be one of my fake dad’s boyfriend’s fake sons. Like when I saw him there I swear I almost fainted. I thought I was hallucinating from thinking about him so much. But I wasn’t. He was real and he’s even prettier up close like holy fuck. I nearly dropped the tray of focaccia and my brother was this close to strangling me.
But anyway. I introduced myself, we talked, solved a little misunderstanding, and later on he told me he comes across my singing videos from time to time. I got really nervous cause I thought he’d figure out that I had a crush on him from the videos I made, but he didn’t. At the time I was sure I was safe and I thought he had never heard me talk about him, but it’s not until recently that he told me he was pretending not to know to spare me the embarrassment. He’s soo cute, I can’t even explain it properly.
And what’s even cuter is that after he admitted that, he told me that he actually used to watch all my videos cause he likes the sound of my voice and even leaves comments sometimes. Isn’t that so sweet?!
Holy shit this is the longest video ever already… Leave me some comments and questions and I’ll get to them soon ‘cause I do want to keep talking about him. Okay bye
