Chapter Text
Lena Luthor began her music career at age five, when an older neighbor taught her how to play the piano, and her business-minded parents realized her talents extended beyond singing her ABCs.
The first song Lena ever recorded was about themes of love she had little to no experience with in her own life.
Now that she was in her thirties, she didn’t feel she had a better grasp on love, despite entering into many serious relationships that made for a lot of bad press and gossip.
“People all around the world love my music. But why do the people who get closest to me find me absolutely unlovable?”
Lena curled her legs underneath her on the sofa in her living room. No one was sitting within immediate earshot or probably even heard her question.
They were getting ready for her upcoming tour, with more than two hundred locations booked for her sold-out concert, and all of her days off looked the same.
She woke up alone to breakfast prepared by her chef, spent hours in her home-studio and never went anywhere outside of her house. In fact, her favorite place to be was in her bed in-between concerts, but lately that just reminded her of the one thing she didn’t have.
A mate.
There had been several messy alphas in her past, including a slew of actors and other musicians. She scoffed whenever she came across an article about her dating history.
Taylor Jones had been her first boyfriend before her true rise to fame. While it was an innocent relationship, it set a precedent for the bad break-ups in her life. Her mother paid Taylor off after finding out he was dating another omega behind Lena’s back, and he agreed never to speak to her again.
But that wasn’t the end of her experiences with cheaters.
Jack Spheer, head singer of the Spheer Band, had been faithful to her until he met Beth Breen. He slept with her right before their second year anniversary, and Beth took pride in doing interviews about Lena’s behaviors that had contributed to their break-up.
And then it had only gotten worse from there.
James Olsen, one of the leads in a terrible superhero series, had broken it off with her due to a lack of chemistry. Behind the scenes, the real reason was that he had slept with his manager, another alpha who had threatened to destroy Lena’s public image if she ever breathed a word of it to anyone.
Then there was Benjamin Lockwood, a famous solo artist who did nothing but take advantage of Lena’s naïveté and loneliness. Lena had been much too enamored with Benjamin’s success. Their two-year relationship was one of the worst in Lena’s eyes, although it wasn’t her most recent or longest affair.
She preferred not to think of that disaster.
Lena sighed and picked up a book that she skimmed without retaining any information. Two pages in, she lamely fell asleep with her reading glasses on her face, and they unfortunately left a mark.
She woke up with a cramp from the weird position she was in and glanced up to find three surprise visitors in her house — her best friends Sam and Jess, and her mother, Lillian.
“Oh no, is this another intervention about my dating life?” Lena wiped the sleep from the corners of her eyes just before Sam hauled her up from the couch.
“Of course not,” Sam lied to her face and threw panicked looks at her co-conspirators. “We’re just joining you for the weekend because our schedules are free. We know you hate to travel alone.”
“This is about my break up with Andrea,” Lena realized instantly and squinted at the three people in her life who made up her inner circle. “I already told you, I’m over it.”
“You were with her for almost five years, Lena, and we know you just had that brief fling with Maxwell Lord as a rebound. That was a cry for help.” Sam stubbornly crossed her arms while Jess took the more hands-on approach of pulling her farther away from her depression-nest.
Lena puffed herself up in a convincing posture, even though she had just spent an entire day sitting around the house and reflecting on her romantic woes. “Look, I’m getting ready for the biggest tour of my life. This is my moment. Trust me, I’m not sitting around in my pajamas fixating on my failed relationships at this point.”
She would write another song about it, after social media quieted down and her fans stopped speculating about Andrea cheating. They had all unfollowed Andrea en masse.
Her ongoing love for Andrea made it impossible for her to say a bad word about the break-up publicly — but the internet sleuths knew. Sometimes when she was feeling particularly sorry for herself, she scrolled through their messages of support and watched their concert shorts on TikTok.
“Tell that to the crumbs stuck to your shirt.” Lillian’s candid approach held a hefty amount of judgment and she fussed with the front of Lena’s shirt to unwrinkle the fabric. “It doesn’t matter how old you get, you’re always going to be my child, and I know a spiral waiting to happen when I see it.”
Lena scoffed at the implication that was teetering on the edge of a mental breakdown and picked up her book just to smack her mother’s hands away. “I fell asleep reading on my sofa, not drunk off my ass at a party. This is hardly a blackhole of depression.”
But it could have been with just a little nudge from low self-esteem and anxiety.
Too many negative thoughts could tip the precarious balance of her emotional state, and then where would she be? Sobbing over old pictures on her phone and wondering if she was the problem all along.
She wasn’t unlovable. She just hadn’t found the right one to love.
Lena tried to remind herself of that while she squinted at the three worried faces staring back at her like they expected tears at any second.
She didn’t have it in her to fight the people she genuinely cared about in her life.
One of the reasons she excelled as a musician was because of how terrible she was at sharing her feelings. She was much better suited to writing it all out, and then singing about it later.
“I appreciate your concern, but I’m fine. Really,” Lena stressed with an absurd amount of hope that they would kindly leave her alone to wallow in peace.
“Great, then you won’t mind coming to the game tonight. I’ve got floor seats.” Jess pulled the tickets out of her bag and waved them in front of Lena to entice her into laughing.
The sound that came out of Lena was more of a resigned sigh, but she couldn’t bring herself to say no.
“Alright, fine, but if anything hits me in the face, I’m suing you personally for putting me in harm's way.”
Lena’s lips quirked into a tentative smile at the idle threat, and that was enough to loosen the tension in her mother’s shoulders. She didn’t actually want to go anywhere, but she knew she would because it mattered to them, and somehow that made all the difference.
“Who are you rooting for, the Metropolis Magnums or the National City Pythons?” Sam asked with far more interest than Lena showed.
“Why is that all of the alpha teams seem to have names that reference the thing that hangs between their legs?” Lena tipped her head to the side and flicked her fingers to make sure everyone knew that was a rhetorical question. “Don’t answer that. I’ll get dressed.”
She couldn’t go out in a baggy t-shirt and sweats, and inwardly debated if saving face was worth the effort of fixing her hair and picking out an outfit that was publicly acceptable.
Often she preferred to venture out incognito, but that wasn’t exactly feasible with court-side seats.
She slipped into relaxed fit jeans, an oversized sweater and a wide brimmed hat that would hopefully keep some of the attention off her. It would block the press from taking too many pictures of her face, and maybe prevent her friends and mother from looking at her with worry all night.
Lena put on her signature red lip shade, grabbed her bag and hurried out to find everyone waiting to pile into her private car.
The night started out like any other evening spent in good company, and even though Lena wasn’t a big fan of basketball, she liked the atmosphere of the stadium.
Once they were in their seats, she heard a lot of people shout at her and wave, and Jess ran off to buy snacks.
“They’re recording me, aren’t they?” Lena asked without looking over shoulder at the curious Python supporters who surely hadn’t expected to see her there.
“Entire rows, yeah, they all have their phones out,” Sam confirmed as she took a long gander and smiled.
“You could always cuddle with me and we’ll give them something new to talk about.” Lena sulked dramatically, but immediately perked up at the sight of the nachos Jess carried.
“Oh, you know I am always up for that.” Sam flung her arm over Lena’s and hooked her into a hug that Jess joined as she scooted into her seat.
Lena forgot all about her relationship status as she reached for the chips and dipped them into gooey cheese sauce.
The house lights shifted as she enjoyed her snack, and then the home-team players jogged out of the locker rooms to the cheers of everyone behind them in the stands.
Lillian soaked in the screams and wild energy like she was in her natural habitat. “Oh, I should have bought one of those big foam fingers.”
Lena would have made a snarky comment directed towards her mother if her eyes hadn’t immediately connected with one of the Pythons.
The player had the sexiest muscular build, tied-up blonde hair and the flawless smile of someone who could do no wrong.
They stared at each other throughout the opening announcements, and the first part of the game, and then Number 33 jogged over while unmistakably gawking.
In fact, Number 33 came so close that Lena squinted at her and spoke up.
“Hey, um, shouldn’t you be doing something right now?”
“Oh, me? Yeah.” Number 33 appeared to be breathless for no other reason than seeing her near the side lines.
Lena blushed as the player suddenly hurried off to steal the ball.
“What was that?” Jess questioned, her eyes widening from the obviously flirtatious heat between them.
“More like who is that?” Lena intoned, peering up at the high-definition screen above them that honed in on Number 33’s face.
“Kara Danvers,” Lillian volunteered, shocking everyone with her knowledge of the sport. “What? Your father and brother are big fans.”
Lena’s brain automatically started composing lyrics to a song titled Number 33, about her long string of relationships leading her to a fling with a hot alpha.
She followed Kara’s every quick-footed maneuver and effortless weaving through enemy players.
Sometimes she couldn’t stand how her mind worked and how fast she imagined jumping into bed with the newest alpha who made their interest blatantly clear.
Lena reached for her drink and tried not to seem so openly flustered, though she couldn’t help the way her eyes shifted from Kara’s huge biceps to the obvious bulk in her basketball shorts.
“She totally ran up to you like a lost dog to its owner. I’ve never seen an alpha look that instantly smitten.” Sam stole a chip from Lena’s tray and watched the secret match taking place.
Kara continued glancing at Lena, and in return Lena gave her all of her attention.
The only time Lena noticed anyone else was if they tried to take the ball from Kara, which they never succeeded in doing.
By halftime, the score was 14-2 in favor of the Pythons, and Lena’s cunt soaked through the fabric of her panties. Kara deviated from her team to jog towards them instead of the lockers. She looked unfairly sexy, glistening in sweat, and distractingly solid.
Lena pressed her tongue into the side of her cheek and wondered if the thirst on her face was being captured by the shrieking fans who seemed stunned by Kara’s approach.
“You know, it’s funny, I had no idea you were a fan of basketball,” Kara uttered, all nonchalant and relaxed as she raised the bottom of her shirt to wipe the beads of sweat from her face.
Lena’s jaw unlatched like an old door, and a strained croak escaped her throat before Sam elbowed her out of the lustful reaction.
Kara’s abs were sinfully sculpted, and all Lena could think about was how they would taste beneath her tongue.
“Oh, I wasn’t into basketball,” Lena mindlessly uttered, her eyes following the path down to Kara’s shorts before she remembered all of the cameras. She flicked her gaze onto Kara’s face and her expressive, stunned eyes, and then raised her brow. “Until now.”
The implication was louder than Kara’s team calling out to her to move her ass.
Kara postured with her fists on her hips and offered Lena the kind of grin that said she was simultaneously flattered and flustered. “Yeah? Well I could get you and your friends tickets to our next game if you’re interested.”
“She is,” Jess cut in pre-emptively, so that Lena didn’t fumble over the invitation.
“That’s sweet of you, but I can’t. I’ll be on tour.” For the first time in her career, that wasn’t a polite excuse just to turn someone down. “If I wasn’t flying first thing in the morning, I would have taken you up on the offer.”
“Why don’t I give you my number later anyway? Who knows, maybe we’ll end up in the same state and we can meet up.”
Kara rolled her hands in a silly gesture to motion between them and then waved to the fans as she ran off to the lockers with a bounce in her step. Her optimism and sincerity sold Lena on the idea of exchanging numbers, and she blushed furiously through the rest of the game whenever Kara grinned in her direction.
“Please tell me you’re going to text her the minute you get home,” Sam whispered loudly in her ear as Kara made a half-court shot. “You should at least hook up with her a few times.”
“God, don’t talk about that in front of my mother,” Lena hissed, horrified by the fact that even that didn’t kill her libido.
She kept her legs crossed to quell the ache in her cunt and tried not to let her imagination take over while she was in public.
Somehow she made it through to the end of the match, with the Pythons winning 120-98.
While the team rejoiced, Kara strutted over yet again to peacock in front of Lena.
A kid from a nearby seat ran over to ask for an autograph, and Kara signed his hat and borrowed his pen. She scrawled something on the inside of her own shirt and then whipped it off, tossing it to Lena with a playful smile that illuminated her eyes.
“There you go, Miss Luthor. The ball’s in your court,” Kara called out, her flirtatious musk drowned out by her team's aggressive and jubilant pheromones. Her teammates crowded around her, guiding her back to the lockers and out of Lena’s sight.
Despite her open lusting, and Kara’s apparent willingness to make the first move, Lena didn’t text her that night.
She stored Kara’s number in her phone and kept the jersey next to the bed, but she was hesitant to put her heart on the line again.
She tended to be very tongue-in-cheek in interviews, and most people didn’t realize how sensitive she was underneath her sense of humor.
The logical thing to do after meeting a complete hottie wasn’t to fall asleep feeling defeated and a bit depressed, but that was what happened.
Lena woke up the next morning, boarded a plane and became distracted with her tour for a solid two weeks.
It wasn’t until one lonely evening that she ended up sending a text to the number Kara gave her:
Hey, it’s Lena Luthor.
The reply made Lena’s heart flutter:
Hey, I thought you burned my shirt! I’m really glad you didn’t because you’ve been my celebrity crush for a long time. How are you?
Lena flopped into bed and chewed her lip as she mulled over how honest she should be before responding:
Curious now. Why am I your crush?
Kara needed no time at all to compose her answer:
I’m sure you’d expect me to say beauty or talent, which you have in spades, but it’s actually because of this interview I saw of you where you were playing with a bunch of kittens. It was something about your laugh and your smile that made me unable to stop watching.
Then I saw all of the tabloid articles about your break-ups, and it seems like you’ve experienced nothing but heartbreak. I can’t understand how any alpha could hurt someone like you, and maybe it’s a bit presumptuous on my part, but I just wished I had a shot with you.
Blushing over text messages and playing with her hair wasn’t something someone Lena’s age should have been doing, and yet she realized all too late that she had done both.
She had no clue how to respond to such an earnest answer, and her thumb hovered above the screen for a moment as she considered blocking Kara outright to save herself the heartache.
Could she really go through it all again?
Lena scoffed at herself as she glimpsed her hopeful eyes in the mirror.
Why the hell was she thinking of love when they had barely spoken a handful of words to each other? She didn’t know Kara, but she clearly wanted to or she wouldn’t have reached out.
“Fuck,” Lena muttered, then frowned down at her phone as she imagined Kara’s sweet face willing her to send something back.
For someone whose career was built on stringing words together, she was doing a terrible job of flirting.
She typed up a response and hit send before she could convince herself to delete it.
Okay, stud, now explain why someone so charming and compassionate has been single for the past year?
Lena chewed the side of her nail as she waited for a response, then laughed when it came through within seconds.
You looked me up? Dang it, Google strikes again.
The playful banter relaxed Lena enough to stop overthinking, and she settled back on the hotel bed with the stirrings of excitement awakening her senses.
She had forgotten how fun it could be just to get to know someone new.
In my defense, I wanted to see when your next game was. Now spill, you and the rest of the world know all about my terrible track record when it comes to relationships. What’s yours?
Lena hoped her forward approach didn’t offend Kara, but she realized she had nothing to worry about when the alpha composed a heartfelt message that didn’t dodge her question:
Let’s just say my heart has known its fair share of bruises. Some people want to see you fail, and it sure does suck when you realize the person you're with is one of them. Where are you right now?
For some strange reason, Lena glanced around her surroundings for confirmation and texted back:
Boston. I’ll be here for another day and then I have a week off before the next leg of my tour. I’m sorry to hear you’ve had your heart broken. You seem incredibly sweet and honest, which is a rare combination these days. Clearly your ex didn’t appreciate what she had.
Kara wasted no time leaving her message on-read. She typed back immediately:
Things happen for a reason, and I know the one for me is out there somewhere. Maybe she’s even in Boston right now. Can I take you on a date when you get back into town?
Giddiness formed a wide-stretched smile on Lena’s lips as Kara expressed outright interest in her.
No one had ever been that direct about pursuing her or had formally asked her on a date like that.
So many of her first dates either felt like business meetings or casual hang-outs with friends. She tapped her finger over the screen in excitement:
You’re awfully charming with words. That’s the main reason my answer is yes.
Kara fired back a question:
What are the other reasons?
Lena chewed her lip and debated whether or not to talk about her attraction to Kara. She ended up finishing the conversation with a delay tactic:
I’ll tell you about them when we see each other.
Over the next several days, Lena became wrapped up in costume fittings, rehearsals and performances, and didn’t have the time to set her expectations too high for her date with Kara.
Maybe that was for the best because whenever she got her hopes up, things never turned out the way she imagined them.
They texted minimally the night before their date, and Kara insisted upon picking Lena up.
Lena wondered if the chemistry between them would be the same as it was when they first met.
She tried not to dwell on it, though it lingered in the back of her mind when she caught herself trying on two different outfits.
She settled on a dress that wasn’t too revealing and classy enough to wear anywhere. Her friends texted to wish her good luck, and she headed outside to find a car with Kara standing beside it.
Even though she had set the bar low for Kara, the alpha had no problem raising it.
Kara looked handsome in a shirt and smart black pants, and she held a beautiful bouquet of roses in one hand while she waved to Lena with the other. The alpha’s smile was big enough to show dimples and she breathed deeply as Lena approached.
“If I’d known you were going to look this beautiful, I would have brought you two bouquets.” Kara laughed, her eyes wide and enigmatic as she handed Lena the flowers and opened the door for her to get in. “I know the press have a tendency to get in your way, so I reserved the whole restaurant just for us. I figured if I wanted to get to know you properly, the first step is making sure you're comfortable and not hounded by cameras.”
The sheer amount of thought Kara put into their date set the tone for the night.
Lena fought a blush at how eagerly Kara ran around the vehicle to hop in beside her in the backseat. She couldn’t recall the last time anyone had been so enamored with her when it didn’t pertain to making headlines.
The driver set off the moment Kara buckled in, and for the next twenty minutes they swapped bashful glances and small talk.
Kara asked all about her tour and confessed that she knew the lyrics to half of her albums, and Lena confided that she tasked her friends with recording Kara’s games so she could watch them all at the end of her tour.
“I was never that great at sports,” Lena intoned, and struggled to keep her eyes on Kara’s when the car rolled to a stop outside a beautiful restaurant at the other side of the city. “All of that running around would just wind me.”
“I don’t believe that for a second,” Kara teased, exiting the vehicle and opening Lena’s door to help her out. “I’ve seen your concerts. You dominate that stage with your presence for hours without stopping. That takes some stamina, and that’s coming from someone who runs around in gym shorts for a living.”
Lena experienced tingles of delight all down her arm as Kara guided her into the restaurant.
The privacy made her less self-conscious than usual and Kara pulled out her chair for her. Apart from some waiters in long tail coats, they were alone and free to get to know each other without the pressure of having an audience.
“Tell me about basketball. How did it become your passion?” Lena flicked a few strands of hair off her shoulder and picked up the menu without browsing it.
She wanted to know what inspired Kara to become an athlete, and whether they would be a good fit romantically or if they were better off having a friendship. Kara’s attractiveness pulled her in, but it was her personality that kept Lena hanging on her every word.
“My parents didn’t have the money to send me to camp, so I entertained myself with sports,” Kara explained modestly, smiling at her with undivided focus. “What about you and your music career, Lena?”
“As a kid, it was just a way to have fun, and now my songs are like diaries of my messy life.” Lena cracked a smile and glanced up as a waiter came over.
They spent the next few minutes ordering their food, and in the meantime another person plied them with wine and appetizers. She liked the comforting surroundings and how Kara put her at ease to be herself. Normally she stressed over romantic connections, but this felt as relaxed as an evening out with friends.
Kara waited until they were alone again to pick up the conversation, and lifted her glass of wine to take a sip. She pursed her lips thoughtfully and met Lena’s gaze as she broke into a smile. “I think it’s a testament to how universal your experiences are that millions of people all over the world relate so strongly to your music. Life’s always going to be a little messy anyway, right? It’s all part of living.”
“So you’re sweet, good looking, and smart,” Lena noted with the keen sense that Kara was definitely checking her out when she tucked her chin to her chest to conceal the shy grin forming across her lips. “That’s a triple threat. I’m not sure my heart could take it if we ever got together and then broke up.”
Of all the things to say on a first date, that had to be the worst.
Lena cringed internally and grabbed her wine to stop herself from uttering another stupid thing.
“There’s a solution to that,” Kara stated, so calm and matter of fact that Lena forgot how mortified she was and paid attention to the alpha.
Kara sat taller in her seat while she perfumed the air with a flirtatious, though polite scent to make her intentions known. “We’ll just never split up. I’ll continue to take you out to dinner whenever our schedules sync up, and you can come to my games whenever you’re free.”
“You make it sound so easy.” Too easy, Lena thought, if the pitter patter of her heart was any reference.
They had spent less than an hour together, and she was already getting invested.
That alone should have been a red flag, but there was something so sincere in Kara’s eyes that Lena couldn’t help but trust her.
“Dating shouldn’t be hard when it’s with the right person,” Kara clarified through a laugh and thanked the waiters as they brought out their food. She slid her plate towards Lena to offer her the chance to taste it first, and picked up an appetizer to crunch in the meantime. “I always figured that ‘the one’ will always find the time to be with you. Without you needing to chase them down.”
Lena twirled some pasta onto a fork and tilted her head as she examined Kara’s face for any trace of deceit. What she noticed was Kara’s lips parted as they stared at each other.
The faintest fragrance of rut drifted from the athlete, and Lena knew logically that it would be smart to take things slow.
The issue was that she was already having a very physical reaction to Kara.
Lena used to believe in the importance of forming a solid relationship before sleeping with anyone, but that traditional mindset never worked out in her favor. A lot of things felt like they were on the table, including sex.
“So what you’re saying is you’re already asking me on a second date a mere twenty minutes into the first one.” Lena raised her eyebrow as she tasted the food and decided that Kara at least knew how to pick a good restaurant.
Kara’s bashful grin was endearing, and she seemed to understand that as she sat forward to select a fresh dinner roll to dip into sauce. “Don’t worry, I’ll let you finish your meal before expecting an answer.”
The gentle teasing evoked a laugh from Lena, and she saw the way Kara’s whole face lit up with her amusement.
She wanted to say yes, but kept that to herself as they stole glances at one another while they ate.
The banter between them remained light and pleasant, and Lena was shocked to find that she hadn’t checked her phone once by the time the waiter brought over a neat little box with a bow on top.
“I got us dessert to go.” Kara stood up to offer Lena her arm without the usual pungent scent of expectation that came from alphas entering a rut.
The delicate spice of Kara’s fragrance played on Lena’s senses, and she wondered where the night would take them as Kara led her out onto the street and bypassed the private car.
Lena worried that it would be a hotel, but before she could voice that she wasn’t the type to sleep with anyone on a first date, Kara redirected her by pointing to a gentle slope of houses that vanished beyond the hill.
“There’s a beautiful little beach down here where the sunset reflects off the water. I discovered it one night when I was out jogging. Now it’s my favorite place to go when I need to clear my head. I thought we could take a walk and find a bench so we can share this dessert box.”
Lena didn’t stand a chance of resisting as she leaned into Kara a little more and nibbled on her lip.
“I can’t think of a better way to end the night,” Lena whispered, acutely aware of the fact that her omega begged to differ.
The white sands were speckled with shells, and Kara charmed her by collecting the prettiest ones for her. They strolled along until their hands drifted closer and they inevitably locked fingers and shared smiles.
Part way down the small beach was an old bench, and Kara wiped it off before they sat down. She opened the box to offer Lena the treats inside before picking one for herself and getting cream stuck to her nose.
It was, by all accounts, the best date Lena had been on in a very long time.
“You’re a goofball. I never would have known that from the way you swaggered around that basketball court.” Lena offered Kara a napkin before she was overcome with the temptation to kiss the chocolate off her lips.
It secretly delighted her that Kara initiated it first, and their tongues tangled together with more heat than Lena wanted to acknowledge to herself.
“Do you still think I’m a goofball?” Kara asked in her next breath as she laced her fingers into Lena’s again.
“No, you just corrected that misconception.” Lena deadpanned and leaned into the small space between them with the longing for another kiss.
They kissed for a while on the darkening beach, becoming acquainted through touch and by telling stories about their lives. An hour went by without them noticing, and then Kara’s driver phoned to check in before it was time to go home.
Lena expected some kind of invitation to extend the date into a sleepover, but Kara escorted her up to the door and left her feeling both excited and confused.
Over the next few days, they texted nonstop and made plans to attend each other’s events. The media also began zealously documenting their budding relationship.
She made headlines when she was snapped in Kara’s jersey at the next game, though she didn’t care.
Kara spent her time on the court scoring points and making eyes at her.
While some basketball fans grumbled about their relationship online, the majority seemed supportive of their star player looking so happy.
The same couldn’t be said for her own fans when Kara was spotted in the front row of her latest concert. Some dragged the alpha for clout-chasing while others mocked Kara by asking who she even was in the first place.
Fortunately, Kara didn’t seem to be on social media and never mentioned it when they texted.
Snapshots of them appeared online, and on the front covers of magazines, analyzing which drinks they bought at a café and what their body language really said about their relationship. For the most part, it was all bullshit, except the part that mentioned the smiles on their faces.
The more Lena started to fall for Kara, the more her fans started to defend her for giving the athlete a chance.
She didn’t blame them for being so invested when her life was broadcasted everywhere all the time, but she did find herself wishing that she could take a step back just to enjoy the romance of it all without anyone’s speculations.
That was easier on dates, which Kara carefully tailored to give them privacy. They squeezed in three more while she toured across the states, and their fifth was set for the following night when she had a layover in Dallas.
Kara coordinated with her a week in advance just so she could take Lena to the Arboretum.
The tranquil botanical garden looked beautiful in the pictures Kara texted over, and Lena caught herself hoping that they would spend their time kissing and taking in the scenery.
I can’t wait to see you tomorrow. This is exactly what I need to recharge before I continue my tour.
That was only partially true, though Lena couldn’t say that. Kara had been nothing but chivalrous from day one. While Lena genuinely loved the respect Kara showed her, she was becoming restless to explore all the things they hadn’t done yet.
She debated sending another message to ask Kara if she had booked herself a room at the hotel, and if she would like to cancel it and stay in hers instead.
She chickened out and settled instead for something safer:
When do you arrive in Dallas?
Kara responded with the same speedy enthusiasm as always:
I’m flying out tonight. I wanted to be well rested for our date tomorrow. What about you? Doing anything fun?
Lena texted over a photo of herself sprawled out in bed. She chose her angle wisely to include a peek at her cleavage and replied honestly:
Just waiting for you.
Exhaustion took over, and she didn’t want to get up. She lounged in bed until she received a full-body mirror selfie that showed Kara’s luggage lying off to one side and the message:
That photo definitely got me on my feet. I’m on my way.
Lena didn’t have to enlarge the photo to spot the semi-hard bulge in Kara’s gym shorts.
She chewed her lip and stared at it for a long time before deciding to text over something salacious:
Funny, your photo kept me on my back. I was thinking maybe we should take another step in our relationship tomorrow.
Bringing it up was difficult enough. If she didn’t have Kara’s picture to hold all of her attention, she would have second guessed her choices.
She ended up scrolling through professional photos of Kara and zeroing in on the appendage between her thighs. It hung down like a thick tree branch, and Lena stared at it until she had an undeniable urge to slide her hand into her panties.
She no sooner slipped her fingers across her private lips than Kara replied with an unexpected question:
So now would be a great time to share some of my post work-out selfies? I might have been saving them up for you.
The rapid-fire succession of three images lit up Lena’s screen before she could fully process what Kara had said, and she whimpered as she swiped through them.
The first showed Kara posturing at the gym, all glistening and solid and evidently proud of herself. The second was clearly taken by a friend so she could flex for the camera. But the best out of all three was snapped in Kara’s home gym. She had lifted her shirt up to show off her defined abs, along with the slight lift in her shorts from pumping all that iron.
Both sets of Lena’s fingers were busy as she tried to tap out a message and ease the ache of her clit as it throbbed for some much-needed attention.
She didn’t want to over-think it as she stared at the pictures of Kara and managed a somewhat coherent response:
Well, I definitely won’t be getting out of bed for a while. What else have you been saving for me?
The implication of what she was doing would have brought a blush to her cheeks, which were already warm from arousal. Lena fought her natural impulse to panic about oversharing, and hoped that Kara wouldn’t judge her for being so forward.
She didn’t have to worry because Kara’s next text was a picture of her shorts straining against her length like it might bust through the seams. The message that accompanied it was simple and short:
This.
Lena groaned as she teased herself with firm little swirls. She debated on ending their back-and-forth communication since she didn’t want to delay Kara from traveling to the airport, but her libido won out.
She took a riskier picture that only showed her hand positioned beneath her panties.
If it ever got leaked, nobody would know who it was, but she wanted Kara to see that she was pleasuring herself to the thought of her.
The slip slide of her fingertips trapped her clit beneath them, and she whimpered at Kara’s fast reply.
You’re smoking hot and if I wasn’t already in the car, I’d be doing the same. Keep going?
The encouragement was all she needed to carry on.
Lena traced her pussy lips and teased her entrance, but didn’t dip inside it as she considered what to send back. The horny side of her brain wanted to bargain with Kara to keep them both aroused, and she shot off a text before she lost the nerve:
What do I get in return?
All she wanted was validation that Kara was into the fact that she was playing with her pussy.
She didn’t expect to get another picture, let alone one that showcased Kara’s cock practically vacuum-sealed in her jeans.
The satisfaction that I’m harder than I’ve ever been all because of you? Do you see this? They’re going to think I’m in rut when I go through security.
The tight fabric left nothing to the imagination, and Lena made a pathetic sound of desperation as she pushed two fingers into the silky quiver of her pussy. If this was Kara out of rut, then she was in for the ride of her life, literally.
Lena couldn’t type a response with how she trembled and rocked her hips to take herself knuckle-deep. She was fixated on Kara’s picture and completely lost in the moment.
Kara seemed to understand, because she sent a few messages one after the other to keep Lena in the mood:
Are you going to make yourself come, Lena?
I hope you’re thinking about me while you touch your pussy.
I can’t wait to make you this wet tomorrow.
Should I tease you with my fingers first and then give you what you really want?
Lena key-smashed a bunch of nonsense in her haste to send yes and then dropped the phone as her breath hitched and her back arched.
She had never orgasmed so fast or so hard from sexting with any previous lovers, even after she had dated them for months and slept with them.
Kara hadn’t even touched her like that yet, and here she was, breathless and sweaty and eager to get tangled up in the alpha the second she got off the plane. It was too easy to climax from the mere thought of Kara doing those things, and she scrambled to pick up her phone to send off a request:
I know you’ll want to take care of yourself whenever you check-in at the hotel, but would you mind if you didn’t? I worked you up. The least I can do is give you a hand tomorrow.
Lena grinned at the message that appeared almost instantaneously:
Oh, I don’t mind waiting at all. See you tomorrow, beautiful. I’ll text you when I land.
True to her word, Kara did, and Lena managed to curb the impulse to invite the alpha straight into her bed. They both decided that they should wait for their date the following afternoon to resist the temptation of doing anything else that night.
Lena respected it, but that didn’t make it any less hard for either of them.
She laid awake fantasizing about Kara, and woke up the next morning with the fizzy sensation of new love spreading through her limbs.
It felt like she went through her morning routine in a daze, showering and slipping into a light spring dress before she gave up on taming her hair and left it down.
Kara promised to meet her in the lobby at eleven, and Lena used what little time she had left to spritz herself with perfume and check her make-up.
She jittered with anticipation when she stepped into the elevator, and by the time it reached the ground floor, she was already smiling.
Kara waited for her in a pressed blue shirt and loose fitting boyfriend jeans. She flung her arms around Lena to hold her close, and they both managed to evade notice as they headed out to their car.
Lena breathed in the warm spiciness to Kara’s fragrance and tried not to stare in open-mouthed lust. “So, how did you sleep?”
It was innocent enough to ask, even though her mind drifted to the images Kara had sent on her way to the airport yesterday. The small talk distracted from her gawking and helped with some of the awkwardness as they both slid into the vehicle.
“There was no tossing, but I did plenty of turning,” Kara admitted, her eyes wandering from Lena’s face down to her cleavage for a prolonged moment as though magnetically pulled there by her desires. She cracked a smile that looked bashful on her handsome features and relaxed as the driver pulled the car away. “I always bring a book with me in case my mind is too active before bed.”
Lena could imagine what had kept Kara up, and her hand nearly collided with the soft bulge as she blindly pressed her palm to Kara’s thigh as she settled in for the ride. Despite her best efforts to act normal, she still allowed her omega to dictate the conversation with sexual undertones.
“If I’d known you were finding it hard, I would have texted. We could have kept each other company.” Lena watched as Kara hung on the soft lilt of her every word.
She bit her lip as her fingertips rested over the slight swell in Kara’s denim jeans.
Lena didn’t have to look to know that her suggestion had stirred a reaction within Kara because the alpha’s pheromones thickened with attraction.
She inhaled them and glanced coquettishly up at Kara through her lashes. She was a terrible flirt most of the time, but she felt confident due to the way Kara looked back at her.
“Then we would have gotten no sleep at all,” Kara stated so matter of fact that there was no dancing between the lines of what she meant.
For a heavy moment, it seemed as if they might kiss. Lena hoped for it with soft lips and lidded eyes. She angled her chin towards Kara with the expectation of tasting her before their date began.
Perhaps she would have if the car hadn’t jerked because of traffic.
Kara laughed as she lurched forward from the sudden slam of breaks, and pressed Lena into the back seat with her muscular body. Lena gasped at the loss of contact when Kara sat upright.
They arrived at the Dallas Arboretum shortly after that, and Kara rushed out of the vehicle to get Lena’s door before the driver could.
“There’s 43 acres of natural beauty right here, and I already know none of it will be as stunning as you in that dress.” Kara’s sincerity was all in her tone since her eyes were overcast with lust. She helped Lena onto her feet and guided her into the Arboretum.
“It looks like there’s plenty of space to sneak away just the two of us,” Lena noted as she avoided the curious stares and leaned into Kara as though to hide in her buff arms.
She realized all too late that might have sounded suggestive, but Kara didn’t show any signs of judgment as she moved them into the first area of the gardens where tranquillity surrounded them on all sides.
They walked arm in arm through gorgeous displays of seasonal flowers, then through the lush greenery of ferns where they paused not just to soak in the scenery, but to appreciate one another.
Kara tugged Lena over to a particularly secluded spot and checked that they were alone. She caught Lena by the jaw to draw her in for a kiss that started off tender and turned into a more ravenous demand for entrance with the swipe of her tongue.
“I’ve wanted to do this since the moment I arrived at the hotel but I didn’t trust myself to stop at just one,” Kara explained.
Lena was weak to the advances, her own hands fisting the front of Kara’s shirt. She wrapped her arms around Kara’s waist to moan into her mouth.
Their private moment of reconnecting brought warmth to her face, and she whimpered when Kara’s hand slid precariously close to her ass.
She longed for Kara to squeeze her there, to pull her roughly against the stiffening length of her cock, but a flash dazzled them apart. Another blinded Lena before she could cover her eyes, and a third tore a growl out of Kara.
“Kiss her again!” jeered a guy crouched behind the tall ferns that obscured his face. He lifted a camera with a smug grin on his face.
Lena felt queasy from the invasion of their privacy and ducked her chin to her chest.
The scent of her vulnerability was there one minute, and gone the next with the strength of Kara’s outraged and protective pheromones.
“Yeah? Why don’t you come closer for a better shot?” Kara uttered, her smile luring the jackass out from his hiding spot.
By the time he realized it was a trap, Kara had already started to sprint towards him.
There was a slight grunt of struggle, and then Kara laughed and hightailed it towards Lena with his camera in hand.
“Let’s go,” Kara huffed. “We can lose him!”
Lena had never seen a person embody the exact same energy as a mischievous golden retriever until that very second.
“Did you steal that?” Lena choked on her amusement and turned on her heel to run with Kara.
“Borrowed,” Kara corrected and snapped a series of pictures over her shoulder solely to disorientate the guy with the flash. She tucked the camera under her arm while they raced through a wide open garden, laughing and panting as the paparazzi yelled obscenities.
They rounded some rose bushes and came across a path lined with trees that Kara gleefully used to her advantage.
“What do you think, top branch, or one of the middle ones?” Kara asked, waiting for Lena to decide while she readied the strap of the camera to throw it.
“Middle,” Lena impulsively decided, so caught up in the chase that she couldn’t help but laugh at Kara’s enthusiasm. “Let him think he has a chance of getting it himself.”
“Good idea.” Kara jumped for one of the middle branches to loop the strap over it.
She waved to the guy when he finally caught sight of them, and then grabbed Lena’s hand to drag her off before he humiliated himself by trying to jump for the device.
“We’re going to be all over the news for this.” Lena wasn’t even mad about it as she jogged through another garden and then came to a stop to catch her breath.
“Not without proof we won’t.” Kara’s smug grin turned triumphant when she pulled the memory card out of her pocket and handed it over to Lena. “A little gift to celebrate our fifth date.”
Lena took the token in excitement and slipped it into her purse for safekeeping. “You’re amazing. Thank you.”
For the next twenty minutes, she strolled around the gardens with her hand in Kara’s and a smitten smile on her face.
Not only was she falling in love and fantasizing about sleeping with Kara, but her mind drifted to more serious things like commitment and having children.
With Andrea, that had been a real rub in their relationship. Lena had experienced a pregnancy scare that almost certainly contributed towards pushing Andrea into the arms of another omega. Most of their arguments had been about taking further steps as a couple, and Lena realized with relief that she was happier now than she had ever been while tied to Andrea.
“This is a very big question, and I know we haven’t been dating long,” Lena emphasized, fearful of frightening Kara off with her serious topics. “I just think it’s important to know how you envision your future. Do you want to have children some day?”
Kara’s eyes glimmered as if she appreciated the subject instead of feeling threatened by it. “Oh, definitely. At least enough for our own basketball team. As long as you want that many. You’re the one who is going to carry them, and it wouldn’t be a deal breaker for me if you had differing views—“
“No, no, I don’t,” Lena cut in, determined to clarify her position. “My attitude might change after the first, but I’ve always dreamed of having a big family. It’s nice that we’re of like minds about that.”
Kara’s hand tightened in Lena’s and she swung their arms with a jovial sense of serenity emanating from her instead of the stress typically associated with those kinds of discussions. She breathed in the sweet scents that clung to the air, and tipped her head to surreptitiously eye Lena. “Since we’re on the topic of your future, where do you see yourself five years from now?”
Lena smirked at the inquisitive question and wet her lips as she searched herself for the most truthful answer. “I would like to create several more albums depending on where life takes me. I’ll probably still be touring, and with any luck, I’ll either be planning on having my first pup or I’ll already have one.”
It gave Kara a clear indication of what sort of timeline she was willing to work with, and she cast her gaze onto the flowers out of nervousness. “What about you? Where do you see yourself five years from now?”
“Hopefully at the height of my career, ranked with some of the greatest names in basketball, and in a fully committed long-term relationship with an omega that will probably write her own lullabies for our newborn.”
The answer was too fast to be rehearsed, and too earnest to be anything other than genuinely hopeful. Kara tucked her chin towards her chest as she fought the bashful urge to avert her eyes. “Just so you know, the only instrument I can play is the tambourine, but I figure I can pick up a few guitar lessons between now and then.”
“And your feelings on marriage and claims?” Lena asked in infatuation. The breathy cadence of her words made them lighter than whispers.
“For people in the spotlight, it’s usually one without the other, right? Celebrities sometimes want to make themselves look available even if they aren’t.” Kara’s shoulders lifted to show her feelings on the matter, and then she stole a glance at Lena like she was too pretty to stare at head-on. “I understand the reluctance some omegas have towards accepting a claim, but waking up to the sight of my partner wearing my mark with a ring I put on her finger? I don’t think life could get better than that.”
Lena smiled at the answer she hoped to hear. “Then I know all I need to know before comfortably taking the next step with you.”
The implication of that somehow affected Kara into a close-call with some flowers.
Kara stopped herself just shy of trampling over the plants, and Lena flirtatiously raised her eyebrow before walking onward.
They went the full circuit throughout the arboretum and returned to their car with the plan of keeping to Kara’s dinner reservation.
Lena changed her mind mid-ride and leaned over to place her hand on Kara’s thigh as she suggested an idea of her own. “What if we just go back to the hotel and order room service tonight? I’m a little tired after all of that fresh air and it’ll give us the chance to talk.”
She glanced towards the driver in the front seat, who also glanced back at her in the rear view mirror as though aware of her secretive designs to get laid.
“Dinner at the hotel would be fine by me.” Kara grabbed for her hand and carefully moved it a little farther up her thigh as a private form of communication. “Better than fine.”
With all of that decided, the driver re-routed towards the hotel and dropped them off.
Hand-in-hand, they ran through the lobby for the elevator, laughing louder than was polite.
Kara selected the floor to her own room before Lena had the chance, and an intimate surprise awaited them once inside — not just the standard rose petals and champagne, but a gift basket with items for soaking in the bath, in addition to a gown and robe specifically for Lena’s use.
“I see you planned ahead. Am I meeting your expectations, or were you hoping to already have me naked by now?” Lena paired her accusatory tone with a suspicious squint up at Kara.
She managed her best poker face just to watch Kara stumble over herself in an effort to explain.
“Oh this is–I just thought–” Kara’s natural athleticism and stellar coordination were nowhere to be found as she flailed her arms erratically and swallowed. “I don’t have any expectations for tonight.”
Kara’s mortified stench and subsequent blush told Lena two things about the alpha. She wasn’t at all arrogant the way her past lovers were, and she was a terrible liar. Lena raised her brows and smirked at the flush that crept up Kara’s neck. She walked backwards toward the gift basket just to maintain eye contact.
“That’s a shame, because I have several.” Lena let that sink in as she boldly reached for the zipper at the back of her dress. She shimmied out of the light material and watched Kara’s jaw descend along with the fabric as it pooled around her ankles.
Neither of them moved, save for the front of Kara’s loose fitting jeans that appeared to get progressively tighter the longer she stared.
“Are you joining me in the bath, or–”
The question died on Lena’s lips, reborn as a whimper when Kara closed the distance between them with a kiss so demanding her panties were slick by the time they parted.
Lena swayed on her feet, dazed and delighted by the effect she had on Kara. She leaned in for another kiss that was slower but no less passionate.
“I thought it would be romantic to run you a bath, but I’m not sure I can wait that long to feel you in my arms,” Kara murmured, her lips trailing across Lena’s sharp jawline and then down to nuzzle into the tender quiver of her throat.
“I don’t think it’s your arms that want to feel me,” Lena lilted as she ghosted her palm over the leather of Kara’s belt to give it a teasing tug.
She itched to rub her hand over the bulge in Kara’s jeans, to memorize every vein that throbbed beneath the surface to make it stand so proud.
“Were you tempted to take care of this last night when you arrived?” Lena’s fingers found the fly of Kara’s jeans and eased it open as she blinked coquettishly. She slipped her hand beneath the denim and took hold of the rigid pole that jerked in excitement, and then stroked experimentally over Kara’s boxers. “Did you think about how soft my fingers would be wrapped around your girth?”
Kara groaned from the attentive caress and shook her head. “I have to admit it wasn’t your fingers I had on my mind. I imagined all of the details of how this night would go. What you would wear to bed, your perfume, your beautiful body, and of course that moment when we would finally connect—"
“You were thinking of my pussy. It’s okay to say it.” Lena enjoyed putting a stop to Kara’s sweet elaborations and careful way of avoiding blunt honesty. “You’ve been good to me, Kara. You’re not going to offend me at this point by telling me the truth, no matter how filthy your thoughts have been. Were you thinking about slipping into my wet, warm pussy?”
“For hours, until the sun came up,” Kara breathed without any ounce of hesitation. She pushed her pelvis forward to increase the contact between Lena’s eager, grasping hand and her impossibly thick cock. “But you’re more than worth the wait.”
“Am I?” Lena teased, her words barely audible against Kara’s lips as she took a firmer hold of her cock. She saw Kara for who she really was in that moment. The sweet, earnest soul that wouldn’t take offense if she changed her mind entirely and asked to cuddle instead. “What if I told you I’m tired of waiting? That since our very first date when you walked me along the sands of that beach I was thinking of bringing you into my bed? Would you have joined me if I’d offered myself that night?”
Kara’s cock gave a jerk of its own and she groaned helplessly over hearing what she had missed out on. She slipped her fingers beneath Lena’s chin to angle her head up, and stared down at her with glazed eyes. “I would like to think I would have resisted the temptation because I wanted to get to know you first. But if you looked at me the way you are now? I doubt I’d have the strength to deny you anything.”
Lena’s lips formed an enigmatic smile as she stepped out of Kara’s reach just to appreciate the flustered state of her girlfriend trying to maintain a respectable level of composure. She wanted to see what Kara looked like without it, stripped from her decency and politeness as well as her clothes.
“I pride myself on being a good girl, Kara, but I’ve found myself wanting to be very bad for you.” Lena unclasped her bra as she said it, and tossed it aside to cup at her tits. She pinched at her nipples and gave a pleading whine, then showed them off with a pout on her lips.
Some alphas would have taken that as an excuse to treat her however they saw fit, but Kara, with all of her chivalry and muscles, stood transfixed as if waiting for Lena to invite her into action. All it took was a lift of Lena’s eyebrow, and suddenly Kara forgot all about buttons as she ripped her shirt wide open at the expense of them.
Lena heard herself moan at Kara’s haste to get naked. The unveiling of the alpha’s biceps and abs sent a trickle of heat from Lena’s navel to her cunt, and she felt it pool in the soft cotton of her panties, slippery and warm with anticipation. She climbed backwards onto the bed, an inelegant shuffle as she refused to tear her eyes off of Kara and the urgent way she yanked her pants down.
“So it’s true what they say,” Lena rasped, all the moisture in her body racing to the apex of her thighs as she gawked at the massive length that swung between Kara’s. “Things really are bigger in Texas.”
“I promise I’m still this size regardless of what state we’re in.” It wasn’t a brag so much as a fact, though Kara still laughed as she strode to the nightstand to retrieve a condom.
Lena shocked them both as she lunged across the bed to steal it from Kara, and tore into it herself with a desperate sound of excitement.
“I’ve never done this before. So if it’s not as sexy as I imagined—”
“It will be,” Kara uttered with a remarkable amount of conviction for someone who didn’t know what was about to happen. She held the base of her cock for Lena to roll the latex down it, and groaned when Lena chose to use her mouth for the job instead.
It took a lot of lip work to ease the condom over Kara’s swollen tip, and endless restraint not to pull it off just to taste the alpha. She kept her fingers on the latex to ensure it wouldn’t pop free and ended up using her hands to secure it into place for the sake of safety.
Lena shivered at the tender way Kara gathered up her hair to hold it out of her face, and nudged the latex brim with her tongue as she forced more of Kara into her mouth.
She opened wide and pumped Kara’s length through the taut space of her puckered lips. Even through the latex, she could feel the heat of Kara’s shaft and how it strained against her tongue with every slurp. It pained her omega that she couldn’t taste Kara’s excitement, and she sucked harder because of it.
“For someone that wants to be bad, you sure are exceptional at being a good girl, aren’t you, Lena?” Kara’s breaths had turned heavy with arousal and she twirled Lena’s hair around her fist to guide her up with gradual insistence.
Lena fought against the careful pull of her hair with a greedy lip-lock around Kara’s glans. She whined in protest, lavishing the brim with hot swipes of her tongue that tore a moan out of Kara.
She would have taken her girlfriend deeper if Kara hadn’t pulled free of her mouth just to bend her backwards across the bed to kiss her ravenously.
“We have all night for that, but all I want right now is for you to take your panties off.” Kara’s words were filled with the static of attraction, and she nipped at Lena’s mouth before dragging her teeth along the sharp slope of her jaw. She nuzzled beneath it, into the delicate crook of Lena’s neck to press her teeth against it.
There wasn’t enough pressure for it to be a real bite, yet it still sent a thrill through Lena when Kara rumbled against her throat. She had never tried to ruin a pair of panties before, and she whimpered when she found she couldn’t tear them clean off.
“I can’t quite–” Lena huffed, inadvertently pushing her cunt upward and right against Kara’s tremendous girth.
She rolled her pelvis, too horny to think straight let alone find the coordination to get them down her thighs – not when she was actively trying to grind into Kara with pleading little sounds to be fucked.
Kara was eager to help, and caught the slim band that sat across Lena’s hips.
“Allow me,” Kara murmured, amused by Lena’s struggle as she ripped through the soaked cotton with all the confidence of someone who knew their own strength.
Lena had never been more turned on.
She didn’t even allow herself the chance to appreciate what had just happened as she spread her legs and reached up to tangle her fingers in Kara’s blonde hair.
“Yes, allowed, you’re definitely allowed. Please–”
The rest of Lena’s begging was cut off with a moan when Kara pinned her to the bed by her hip and slid into her tight opening.
Kara found Lena’s clit with her thumb and rubbed into the little bead with controlled circles that sent small jolts of pleasure through Lena’s thighs.
“I’ve got you, just wrap those pretty legs around me and let me in real deep.” Kara pressed kisses across Lena’s neck and all the way down to her tits. She didn’t hesitate to lick at Lena’s nipple, popping her lips over it with an indulgent groan as Lena raised her knees to lock them around Kara’s waist.
Kara put more power behind her lunges, and Lena keened from the fullness of being completely spread open.
The initial shock of taking that extremely thick girth inside of her was counteracted by the deep satisfaction she felt.
“Fuck, you’re really splitting me open.” Lena whined from the firm strokes that rubbed Kara’s tip into the hot contours in her cunt.
The widest part of Kara’s cock was the base, and it stretched Lena’s pussy lips apart as it pushed into her. They both groaned as Kara gave a short but hard thrust to ensure Lena was taking her total length. Lena tried to both spread her legs more and keep them around Kara’s waist.
“Communicate with me and let me know how it feels, baby. You’re very wet, but it’s such a tight fit. I won’t thrust until you’re ready.” Kara nuzzled at her neck appreciatively and kissed the side of her jaw while massaging both of her tits. The gentle flicks over her nipples went a long way in getting her worked up.
“It feels right,” Lena admitted as she moved her mouth closer to Kara’s so their lips could connect. “It feels like everything I need and want.”
The proof of that was in how Lena’s body reacted as she thought of sliding the condom off Kara’s cock. She hadn’t ever slept with anyone without using multiple forms of protection, but her instant rapport with Kara made her strongly consider it.
The items on the night table included more condoms, lubricants and contraceptive patches that Kara must have bought as a back-up. Lena chewed her lip as she glanced at the box and Kara started to thrust in slow motions that both relaxed and stretched her pussy.
“Did you buy those patches in case I was allergic to latex or were you worried about the fit of the condoms?” Lena question, tipping her chin towards the patches. She whimpered over the careful progression Kara was undertaking.
“I just wanted to be prepared so nothing at all could spoil our night,” Kara expressed, much too distracted by the sensations of sex to register why Lena would be asking. She slipped her hand down to Lena’s ass and pulled her upward into a thrust.
“Do you want to take the condom off so you can feel the warmth of my pussy?” Lena chewed her lip naughtily as she proposed the riskier option.
They had both emailed each other their most recent sexual health checks, but Lena had never slept with anyone without using a condom. No one had ever been worth the extra worry. From the shudder that worked through Kara’s shoulders and firmed her jaw, to the sudden plunge of her cock, Lena imagined the alpha was precariously close to coming just from the suggestion.
Lena strained against the bed, her breath stalling in her lungs from the deeper penetration, and stared up at Kara with glazed and hopeful eyes.
“I’ve never asked anyone else this,” Lena whispered, sweetening the air with the wanton fragrance of her omega that begged for carnal sex.
She saw the shift in Kara as her alpha reared up, like something wild that swam within her oceanic eyes and darkened the surface with its presence.
“Lena,” Kara groaned, already slipping out of the warm clutch of her pussy to roll the condom off. “Are you sure?”
“My heart is.” Lena reached between her own thighs to decisively tug the latex off.
She showed Kara how serious she was by guiding her cock right back into the quiver of her cunt with a quick stroke, and then undulated to take the first two inches.
There was no coming back from that.
The intensity between them flared with the heat of their bodies, and Kara lurched forward to taste Lena’s lips when they opened in a gasp. All of her slick lubricated Kara’s shaft and made each thrust smoother than the last. She clung to Kara in stunned rapture, her fingertips digging into the athlete’s tanned skin while the hot constriction of her pussy tried to pull Kara deeper.
“You like that, baby?” Kara asked, nosing into the soft curls by Lena’s ear as she rocked forward to create the best friction. She palmed at Lena’s tits, her fingers trailing upward to tip Lena’s head back so she could watch the pleasure flit across her face with every revolution of her hips. “Should I pin you down and fill your pussy so you know I want to keep you?”
“Oh, you’re already mine, so you had better fuck me like you mean it,” Lena intoned, raspy and unapologetic in her desires.
Their teeth clashed as they tried to kiss and smile at the same time, and Lena’s laughter dissolved into the dulcet whines of someone being thoroughly ravaged.
Lena stretched her arms above her head and rolled her hips a little as Kara slammed into her. They synched movements and swapped breath, and Kara clasped her face in one hand as she used the other to tease her clit.
From the strong eye contact, the sensual rubbing, and the intense crashing of Kara’s pelvis against hers, Lena moaned in orgasm. Her lips remained parted long after her voice cut out, and her lashes eclipsed her view of the room.
Kara dropped her mouth to the small peaks of Lena’s nipples, sucking and stimulating them with her teeth. “Good girl, I want you to come hard again, just like that. All I care about is making sure you’re completely satisfied tonight. You’re giving me everything, Lena. My cock is deep inside of your pussy, and there’s nothing separating us—nothing to keep my seed from settling in your womb.”
Lena groaned from the filthy talk and tilted her head back to let Kara kiss her neck. The curving of her spine also pushed her tits up and Kara took advantage of that.
“It’s been a secret fantasy of mine to have sex without protection, but I just never thought I’d find anyone who I would truly trust so I could experience it. I want to give this to you.” Lena alternated between craning back and trying to glance down to the apex of her thighs, which she could scarcely glimpse with Kara thrusting so deep inside her cunt.
“You can give it to me, Lena, you can give me your pussy.” Kara nuzzled into the shell of her ear and nipped at her lobe, kissing all the way down her jaw and up to her lips.
Sex had never inspired immediate hopes and dreams in Lena before, but it suddenly felt like more than just a physical thing to do. Her chin quivered from the pleasure and the emotions in her chest as she realized how much she wanted Kara to love her.
It must have been mutual, because there was a vulnerability in Kara’s eyes that Lena had missed before in the throes of ecstasy. It dawned on Lena that Kara was trying to prove herself worthy of being a long term mate by being so attentive, and she whimpered at the masterful glide of Kara’s thumb brushing across her clit.
What about my heart, Lena thought, can I give you that, too?
In spite of the beguiling fragrance of her omega all but advertising her feelings, she knew better than to ask. She shied away from Kara’s intense eyes and brought her hands up to drag the alpha down.
She buried her face in the broad, muscular shoulder that felt solid beneath her fingers, and undulated faster just to hear the ragged sound of Kara’s breaths.
“Are you holding off for me, Kara?” Lena teased and used the flirtation to distract from the overwhelming longing to be Kara’s in every way possible. She played the aggressor by tangling her fingers in Kara’s hair to force the alpha’s chin up, and bit along her throat with possessive little nips. “You’re so hard that I can feel every throb of your cock. Don’t you want to come inside me so you can see all of your seed spill out when you pull back?”
Lena wondered if it was the mental image of it or the sting of her teeth that resulted in Kara heaving out a groan and slamming into her harder than before.
She never understood the urge to feel powerless until Kara clasped her hands and held them against a pillow to truly pin her with the weight of her thrusts.
“What if I want to keep it there? I could knot you like this, Lena. Keep you prone and restless beneath me while I give you all I’ve got. You’d feel where I’ve been all through your next performance, and then after it maybe I’ll fly to you and do it again.”
The fantasy of Kara meeting her in hotels in between her tour just to perpetually get her off and knot her sent a spasm through her cunt. She had no control over how her body responded, so amenable and desperate for Kara’s touch that she came with a startled cry.
Kara wasn’t long behind her. The rapid slap of her thighs increased in force before her cock jerked and she plunged it base deep.
The debauched sound of Kara’s orgasm was nothing to the warmth that spurted against Lena’s cervix.
Lena didn’t consciously try to bite at Kara’s lips with feral insistence that she continue, but that’s exactly what happened before she opened her mouth for Kara’s tongue to find her own. They were a mess of tangled limbs and sweat-slicked skin, coiling around one another and unable to part from their feverous rocking.
Kara licked and kissed at the tremble of Lena’s throat and rolled onto her back so that Lena straddled her hips. She didn’t have to encourage Lena into riding her, but the firm squeeze of her ass inspired Lena to bounce.
Lena must have looked a sight with her sex mussed hair and glassy expression, but she would have sooner stopped breathing than end their night together.
“You’re going to be exhausted tomorrow and I’m not even sorry,” Kara groaned, straining with every thrust that demanded Lena’s contracting cunt to relax for the penetration.
“I don’t care, this is worth it. You’re worth it,” Lena’s sultry voice had taken on a rasp, and she grinned as she leaned forward to rest her hands on Kara’s shoulders.
They were both mesmerized by the sight of her tight little cunt taking Kara’s enormity, and the creamy slick that Kara continuously tried to fuck back into her at a steady pace.
Lena bent forward to kiss Kara’s neck while undulating at the right intervals to pleasure them both. The sublime friction against her g-spot freed her of all tension and inhibitions. She didn’t self-consciously pull her hair back or worry about the ways her tits moved whenever she bounced harder.
“Keep going. Good girl. Take as much as you can. I love seeing your pussy completely spread and stuffed full.” Kara reverently focused on Lena’s slippery clit and stretched private lips.
“Are you paying close attention to what your cock is doing to me?” Lena didn’t have to ask, but the question came out with breathlessness and a small lip tremble that revealed how much she liked that. “It aches a bit when you hit my cervix but in a good way. I’m going to come if I continue rocking my hips.”
“Rock those hips, Lena,” Kara praised, sliding one hand upward to help with the regular motion. Her palm slipped onto Lena’s stomach just below her navel, and she stretched her fingers down to continue playing with her soaked cunt. “I’m already becoming addicted to touching you. I could rub your clit for hours.”
Lena whimpered from the pinpointed caress and lifted herself up just to slide down on Kara’s cock. The on-target manipulation of her clit made it imperative for her to fill her pussy at a faster speed.
“I might take you up on that,” Lena lilted, too turned on to be coy and so close to the cusp of another release that she didn’t care how greedy she sounded.
The circular motions of her pelvis kept Kara trapped within her cunt and she went harder in the pursuit of her own pleasure.
“Yeah? You’d let me play with your pussy all night?” Kara sounded stunned and elated, and she smiled up at Lena as if she couldn’t quite believe all of this was happening.
“Uh huh,” Lena insisted, her mouth open and chin angled upward as the first tight contraction signaled her bliss. She went in for a kiss, missing Kara’s mouth with the rocky momentum and meeting her cheek instead. “All night, right after you knot me.”
Nothing quite so salacious had ever come out of her mouth before, but Lena meant every word of it. Kara could obviously tell that because her hands fisted on the side of Lena’s hips and she erupted with powerful jets of seed.
Lena felt every distinct throb as it happened, and the hot gush that tipped her into her own orgasm.
She was a glutton for Kara, and she couldn’t even blame her hormones since her heat was weeks away. Not that it mattered. Lena didn’t want to make excuses for how the alpha made her feel, and she wouldn’t. Not even for her reputation’s sake.
She would take the stage with the hickeys on her neck and sing and dance while her pussy ached pleasantly from their lovemaking. To hell with the paparazzi, and her managers, and the PR team that tried to contain her in a pretty little box to make sales. Life was meant for living, and Kara—sweet, handsome, inexhaustible Kara—deserved her fully in a relationship.
“Fuck, Lena, if you keep doing that, I really will knot.” Kara’s face contorted in euphoria and she seemed to be resisting the urge of her alpha to slot herself deeper.
It was probably meant to be a warning—a chance for Lena to ease herself off of Kara and give them both a chance to sort out their feelings in the afterglow, but Lena already knew what she wanted.
She bore down on Kara with faster undulations and stared her girlfriend in the eye as she felt the scorching expansion of Kara’s knot splitting her in two.
The pressure inside was immense, but so was the satisfaction of being joined with Kara in such an intimate way.
She swooned from the sensation, falling straight into Kara’s open arms with a strangled whimper that Kara stifled with a kiss.
“You’re stuck with me now. I’m going to be at the front of every concert from here on out.” Kara’s grin could be felt as she nuzzled into Lena’s neck to huff at the content and sexually sated pheromones that clung to her skin.
“You’re joking, but if you did that, I could have you escorted straight into my dressing room afterwards.” Lena’s airy response earned her a laugh, and she rested her cheek on Kara’s shoulder to gaze at her through her lashes.
“What if I just promise to rent a room at whatever hotel you stay at?” Kara countered with sincerity. “I can have a bubble bath waiting for you the moment you walk in so you can save yourself the scandal.”
“Someone sounds like the perfect mate,” Lena whispered, not at all bashful as she captured Kara’s mouth with her own.
She felt the emotions behind Kara’s gentle caresses, and knew with all of her heart that she had finally found the right one to love.
