Work Text:

When a thick stack of papers plopped on Jungkook’s vanity as he was getting his hair and makeup done for a new gig, he thought it was the usual. A contract for the hottest products, some modelling campaign, or some kind of collab that just needed his face.

Jeon Jungkook, at just twenty-two years old, had already taken over the entertainment space. His face was on just about every product and billboard in the country, his music was inescapable in public. Everywhere you went, there was Jeon Jungkook, the omega idol who captured the nation’s heart in just four short years.

Jungkook glanced at the stack of papers and then up to his manager. Han Yuna had her laptop tucked beneath her arm, black coffee in the other hand. She had a look on her face that Jungkook knew instantly: Money, and lots of it.

“What is it this time?” He asked, tilting his head slightly toward the makeup artist’s brush.

A small laugh escaped her. “Something amazing.” The beta woman grinned. “Director Choi offered you a role.”

He hummed absentmindedly, “So did three other directors.”

“This isn’t a cameo,” Yuna began, “Nor a guest appearance. It’s the co-lead for a drama.”

Jungkook’s eyes met hers in the mirror. “What? A drama?”

She nodded, “Director Choi had someone else in mind originally for the role, but after seeing your audition tape from a few years ago, he wanted you instead.”

Jungkook frowned, “My audition?”

“Remember that indie film from a while back?”

His brows scrunched as he tried to place the memory. “Yeah, but I didn’t get the part.”

“No,” Yuna said. “But I still had the tape, and he asked for it, and he liked what he saw.”

“Why me?”

“I asked him the same question.”

Jungkook rolled his eyes, “How reassuring.”

“He actually liked your inexperience, he says it’ll bring a freshness to the film.”

Jungkook looked down at the script on the vanity counter. The thick pages made an intimidating stack. “I’ve never done anything like this before.”

“I know, it’ll be good for your portfolio.”

“What if I ruin it?”

Yuna scoffed, “I don’t think director Choi spends months casting people he believes will ruin his drama.” She placed a hand on his shoulder. “Besides, you’re Jeon Jungkook. They don’t call you the ‘Golden Star’ of the industry for nothing.”

Jungkook flushed slightly at the nickname. He reached forward and grabbed the stack of stapled papers, his thumb flipping through a few pages to skim the dialogue. He sighed, “I’ll do it.”

Yuna raised a brow, “You don’t have to decide today, you haven’t even read the script yet.”

“I trust your judgment.”

An exasperated sigh tangled with fondness escaped her lips, “I’ve spent years telling you that’s a terrible habit.”

“It hasn’t failed me yet.” He hummed, eyes scanning the cast list. The name at the top in bold nearly made his heart jump out of his throat.

LEAD: KIM TAEHYUNG

Kim Taehyung.

Jungkook’s stomach did a backflip. He’d spent half his life watching that man’s work, everyone had. Taehyung’s dramas were practically unavoidable, his movies dominated theatres, and he starred in too many classics to name. There were actors, and then there was Kim Taehyung.

Jungkook stared at the page for several seconds before looking up at Yuna. “...Kim Taehyung is the lead?”

“The one and only,” Yuna grinned. “Think about it, pairing you with Kim Taehyung? It’s ratings gold. The veteran alpha superstar and the omega idol taking his first dramatic steps. The press conference alone will trend for a week.”

Jungkook barely heard her. He was properly flipping through the script, his eyes scanning the dialogue. It was a romance, a melancholic winter tale about two childhood friends reuniting after an old promise. At this moment, the omega was happy no one could read his thoughts.

“I… This is crazy…” He whispered, fingers dragging across Taehyung’s name.

“I know! I’m picturing it now, ‘The Last Promise starring Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook’ on all the billboards in the city!” Yuna gushed while Jungkook wanted to die in his chair. “It’s going to be historic.”

“What if…” Jungkook swallowed, suddenly feeling nervous again, “What if he thinks I’m just another pretty idol who can’t act?”

“Then you prove him wrong,” Yuna stated flatly. “You’re a fast learner, a perfectionist at everything you do. This is a big leap, Jungkook. Don’t look down.”

Jungkook swallowed the lump in his throat and was lucky to be saved by a soft knock on the door. It was a staff member notifying them it was time for his performance. This was something he could do blindfolded and upside down. Acting was an entirely different ball game, and for once in his life, he didn’t know if he had what it took to compete.

A few days passed before Jungkook remember that he had technically signed himself onto the most important acting project of his career. It wasn’t that he’d forgotten completely, he was a busy person with a never-ending schedule.

There had been a dance practice that ran two hours over one day, a recording session that turned into an argument between his producers over his new single the next, and a wardrobe malfunction during a campaign shoot to top it all off.

Three days later, he finally had some time to study the script that had been haunting his coffee table. Though he wasn’t going into this alone, which is why his best friend Park Jimin was going to tread through these murky waters with him.

Jimin was his first industry friend, someone who was already in the industry years before him and showed him the ropes. He was a model and a fellow omega icon. He entered Jungkook’s home with takeout and a bottle of expensive aged wine. “Congratulations are in order.” He grinned, unaware of Jungkook’s despair as he kicked off his shoes. “Your first big acting role.”

Jungkook didn’t hesitate to pop the cork on the wine. “I wouldn’t rush to that so quickly.”

Jimin placed the takeout on the living room table and took a seat on the plush rug. “Hm? You don’t sound so excited about this.” Jungkook reached for the script lying on the counter and flipped it open to the cast list where Taehyung’s name stood out loud and clear. “Ah.”

“Do you see my problem?”

“Kim Taehyung? So?”

Jungkook stared at him like he had three heads. “So? It’s Taehyung!”

Jimin laughed. “Kook, you say it like you’re filming with royalty.”

“He practically is.”

“No, he’s an actor.”

“He’s Kim Taehyung!” Jungkook reiterated, waving his hands to get his point across.

“And you’re Jeon Jungkook.”

“That is not the same thing.”

Jimin took a slow sip of his wine. “You’ve been in the industry ever since you were a teenager, you’ve performed in front of sold-out stadiums with thousands of people, and fashion houses fight to the death to get you every season.”

“It’s not that simple.” Jungkook groaned, flopping back on the couch.

“You don’t give yourself enough credit,” Jimin said, reading through the script. “You’ve been worrying about this for how long?”

“Three days,” he murmured. “I haven’t stopped thinking about it.”

“Then I’ll check to see if this scary script is worth worrying your pretty little head over.”

Jimin began reading properly, and Jungkook didn’t mind the silence as the older omega read to himself. Now and then he’d hum or smile at a scene he liked, otherwise, he was silent as he turned each page.

“Well?”

“So far,” Jimin looked up, “It’s good.”

“That’s it?”

“What were you expecting?”

“I don’t know.” Jungkook poured himself another glass of wine after downing the first one from nerves. “I want you to tell me I’m overthinking this whole mess.”

Jimin quirked an eyebrow. “I thought that much was obvious.” He snorted, then went back to reading. Several more minutes passed, the bottle of wine slowly becoming half empty by the time Jimin reached the middle. His face remained neutral, then somewhere past the halfway point, he stopped.

Jungkook watched as he frowned at the page, reread it, turned to a new one, then back to read again. “What?”

“Hm?”

“You’ve been staring at the page longer than usual.”

Jimin looked up. “I’m deciding whether I should laugh or not.”

Jungkook narrowed his eyes. “Why?”

“Can I just ask if you’d read this thing?”

“A little.”

Jimin pressed him further. “A little as in…?”

“I read the first three pages. Seeing Taehyung’s name, it threw me off completely.”

“So, not all of it?”

“I was going to read it.” Jungkook added quietly, “Eventually.”

Jimin started laughing then, and his eyes went back to the page. “Oh, Kook, you’ve done it this time.”

“What? Just tell me what it is! Do I die or something?”

“I think that would be better than this,” He said. “There’s…There’s a sex scene in here.”

All the color drained from the omega’s face as his stomach fell through the floor. His jaw dropped as he tried to process the words that left Jimin’s mouth. That string of words didn’t connect in his brain. A sex scene? Between him and Taehyung? “What?”

That was all it took for Jimin to burst into laughter again. Jungkook lunged for the script, but Jimin was quicker, scrambling off the floor with the pages clutched to his chest like a treasure. Jungkook nearly tripped as he tried to follow him.

“Give it here! You’re lying!”

“Jungkook!” Jimin shrieked, laughing so hard he had to brace himself against the couch. “Are you serious?! You signed a contract without reading the damn script?!”

“I was going to read it!

“When? On set while Taehyung was already on top of you?”

Jungkook felt his ears blaze. “Stop talking.”

“Oh my Moon,” Jimin wiped at his eyes with one hand, still holding the script out of Jungkook’s desperate reach with the other. “You didn’t know!”

“Obviously!” Jungkook made a strangled sound and finally managed to snatch the script from him while he was doubled over in laughter. He stared at the scene, and his face went hot. The scene itself was written tastefully, but it was still a sex scene nonetheless.

He was going to do this with Kim Taehyung. Hot, actor of the century Kim Taehyung, whose dramas Jungkook had watched under blankets at two in the morning, and whose films played a role in his teenage heartbreak before the two had even met.

He lowered the script once he was done reading, and Jimin took one look at his face before losing it all over again. “You’re blushing!”

“Am not.”

“You are! Your ears are so red.”

Jungkook pressed his hands against one of his ears and immediately regretted it because it was indeed very warm. He tossed the script on the couch, pacing towards the kitchen. Jimin followed him with his eyes, clearly delighted by Jungkook’s gloom.

He cleared his throat, pretending like this wasn’t earth-shattering news. “It’s not a big deal,” he said, opening the fridge for no reason at all. He grabbed a cold bottle of water and turned back to Jimin, pointing his eyes. “Don’t.”

“I haven’t said anything.” He grinned coyly.

Jungkook made his way back to the couch, the script staring back at him with its dirty little secret. “I can’t believe this.” He sighed, running a hand through his ebony locs.

“I can,” Jimin grinned. “You saw the name Kim Taehyung, blacked out, and said yes to a project where he’s going to fuck you.”

Jungkook lunged for him again, and Jimin shrieked as he was attacked with a decorative pillow. The script lay on the table, the lewd contents that Jungkook was trying not to think about lay open. That only made Jimin laugh harder until Jungkook had no choice but to laugh too, face hot, chest light, embarrassment and excitement tangling together so tightly he could no longer tell which one was winning.

Across town, Kim Taehyung was wrapping up work as usual. His shoot ended an hour ago, but he was still checking the raw photos, a perfectionist as always. Over twenty years in the industry had made him this way, nothing slipped past his well-trained eye.

At forty-four years old, directors still wanted a piece of him, as if he were still at the peak of his career years ago. He was close with director Choi and had no problem easily accepting the role. It was his co-lead that was the problem.

Jungkook was everywhere. A pretty omega with an equally pretty voice and face. He’d seen it all before, an omega polished by the industry until they were something bright. He knew the type because he’d watched hundreds of them pass through the entertainment world, all adored until the next one came along.

He heard the news days ago, and when he was told Jeon Jungkook would be his co-lead, he laughed. An idol’s first big acting role and it would be with him. Jungkook had a one-of-a-kind face, sweet doe eyes that could look innocent one moment, then sharp the next. It would be great for cameras, but modelling was not acting, nor was it dancing or singing.

“I can hear your thoughts from the other side of the room.” Taehyung opened his eyes, he didn’t even know when he’d done that, to see his manager Seijin standing before him. “Tired? Or something else?”

“Just thinking about Choi’s project he cast me in.” He said simply, “And my co-lead.”

“You’re worried?”

“I didn’t say that.”

Seijin shrugged. “I’ve known you for fifteen years, you don’t have to say anything. I know.”

Taehyung chuckled. “I’m just cautious, that’s all.”

“Because he’s an idol?”

“I’ve worked with idols before, it’s a toss-up,” He said. “It’s his inexperience.”

Seijin hummed, “Fair, but Yuna says he’s good at everything.”

“She’s his manager, of course she’d say that.”

“I watched his audition tape, it wasn’t bad.” Seijin said, “I see potential.”

“Hm, I guess Director Choi did as well if he chose to cast him.”

“You don’t mind?” Seijin asked.

Taehyung considered the question for a moment, then shrugged, “I would have preferred someone with more experience.” He stood from the chair and grabbed his bag. “If Director Choi wants him, then I’ll trust it.”

x

The cafe that the company had reserved for their meeting was in the heart of Seoul. It had private booths with frosted glass to protect from sneaky cameras. Jungkook had been there for fifteen minutes, his palm sweaty for his first meeting with Taehyung.

Normally, he wasn’t an early person, but he’d convinced himself that arriving early would make him look like a professional. Instead, it’d given him fifteen minutes uninterrupted to overthink every single thing.

It’s not that Jungkook was nervous, he’d already decided that he was going to keep his composure. He’d performed at stadiums filled with adoring fans, walked international runways without breaking a sweat. A meeting with an actor was no big deal.

Unfortunately, his body had not received the memo to keep his cool.

When Taehyung stepped inside twenty minutes after Jungkook had, his planned facade of a calm and collected omega was tossed out of the window. Taehyung was taller in person, which was his first thought when he saw him enter.

The hostess greeted him, then pointed him over to the booth Jungkook was seated at. When their eyes met, he stood immediately, he didn’t know why. Taehyung approached, smiling easily. “Jungkook?”

Jungkook bowed. “Y–Yes, hello, sunbaenim. It’s n–nice to meet you.” He immediately cursed himself in his head for stuttering.

Taehyung returned the gesture. “It’s nice to meet you, too.” He took a seat in the booth. “I hope I didn’t keep you waiting long.”

"No," Jungkook answered quickly, taking a seat as well. "I just got here." The lie left his mouth before he could stop it.

“I see.” Taehyung simply smiled at the glass of water with half-melted ice sweating on the table. He’d been caught, and he felt heat creep up his ears again. Luckily, Taehyung didn’t comment on it.

The waitress took their orders, and they began to work. For a while, the conversation thankfully stayed professional, and they went through the story beats together. Jungkook felt himself relaxing with each minute that passed, as Taehyung was surprisingly easy to talk to. He could smell his faint scent of lavender and rain as they talked, and that eased his nerves slightly.

Their meals arrived, and they opened their scripts. Taehyung pulled out his script, and Jungkook’s looked new by comparison. It was annotated with sticky notes sticking out of the thick stack of papers.

Jungkook looked at the difference between their script, suddenly feeling embarrassed by his lack of notes. “Do you annotate everything?” He asked.

“Habit.” Taehyung shrugged. “It’ll come to you naturally.”

Jungkook eased into his seat. Maybe this wouldn’t be so bad after all. Taehyung gently corrected his lines when needed without making it feel like an insult, and clarified vague points without making Jungkook look like a fool. The image he’d crafted of an intimidating alpha who wouldn’t indulge his inexperience vanished with each line.

The problem came when Taehyung turned the page and landed where Jungkook had been hoping they wouldn’t discuss on their first day. He rested his elbow on the table, chin resting in his palm as his eyes skimmed the paper, while Jungkook’s face was on fire. “This scene,” He said, tapping his pen on the page, “will probably require the most coordination."

Jungkook stared at the page. “Right.”

Taehyung kept his eyes on the page. “Choi shoots his intimacy scenes tastefully, I can appreciate that about him. Hm, the camera will see my back, a little bit of your skin, my hands on your thighs, a few kisses here and there.” The way Taehyung explained it was as if he were describing the weather. “Have you ever worked with an intimacy coordinator before?” He asked, his gaze meeting Jungkook’s now.

He wished he hadn’t looked at him, those eyes sharp without even trying. “N–No.” The omega sputtered out.

“I assumed not.”

Jungkook shifted in his chair. “I…This is new territory for me.”

Taehyung leaned back in his seat, studying him, then an amused smirk graced his lips, “Forgive me for being crass, Jungkook–ssi, but on my way here I passed by one of your campaigns, the one for the lingerie,” Jungkook choked on his spit, “You were in lace on silk sheets, and you’re telling me you’re scared of a sex scene?”

“T–That’s different!” He sputtered out, face igniting and turning a deeper shade of red, “That’s posing, looking at a camera! Not pretending to want…or feel. When I model, it’s me, no one else. This… I have to sell that I want you.”

“Hm, I see. The first time is always a bit weird.” Taehyung took a sip of his water. “They’re less uncomfortable than people think.”

“Easy for you to say,” Jungkook picked at his half-eaten food. “You’ve been doing this for as long as I’ve been alive.” He murmured.

“True, but that means I know what I’m talking about.”

Jungkook stayed quiet, it sounded simple when Taehyung said it, but he doubted it was. The older alpha never circled back to the intimate subject or pressed him simply because he'd gotten a reaction. Instead, he turned pages and glossed over it. Soon, three hours passed in the blink of an eye, their food and plates long gone.

Taehyung gathered his pages into one neat stack before sliding them back into the worn leather bag he'd brought. "I'm glad we did this.”

Jungkook looked up at him. “Me too.”

"I think it'll make rehearsals easier."

"I think so too."

Taehyung rose first, slipping on his coat while Jungkook hurried to do the same. They thanked the restaurant staff on the way out, exchanging polite bows before stepping back onto the sidewalk.

"See you Monday?" Jungkook asked.

Taehyung adjusted the strap of the messenger bag resting against his shoulder. "Monday."

“Thank you, sunbaenim,” Jungkook said after playing around with his fingers

“For?”

“The advice.”

Taehyung smiled softly. “You’ll be fine, Jungkook–ssi. Read the scenes we share aloud, get used to the words in your mouth, even the difficult ones.” His eyes held a final glint of that knowing amusement. “Especially the difficult ones.”

Jungkook flushed again. “Thank you again, sunbaenim.” He bowed, and on cue, two black cars pulled up to the curb. “I, um, I’ll be looking forward to Monday.”

Taehyung nodded with gentle eyes that made Jungkook want to melt, “Me as well. See you then.” He got in his respective car, and Jungkook stood frozen on the sidewalk before he did the same.

Jungkook leaned back in his seat and released a breath that had been trapped in his chest ever since Taehyung walked into that cafe. He realized, somewhere during lunch, he'd stopped thinking of Kim Taehyung as Kim Taehyung. He was still intimidating, still one of the country's biggest actors, but he'd also become remarkably normal.

Jungkook reached into his bag, his fingers grazing the pages of the script. He would take Taehyung’s advice, and a fresh wave of heat flooded his cheeks, this one laced with something other than embarrassment. This was a new leap for him, and he was going to show Taehyung that he wasn’t just another pretty face.

x

Monday arrived far quicker than Jungkook wanted. The first script read with the rest of the cast was on the third floor of the production company’s office. Several long tables formed a rectangle in the center of the room, each place marked with a printed name card, fresh copies of the screenplay, pencils, highlighters, bottles of water, and enough sticky notes to cover every page twice over.

Crew members wandered in and out carrying laptops while producers greeted one another near the coffee station. Jungkook stepped through the doorway with Yuna beside him. "You've got this," she murmured, smoothing an invisible wrinkle from the sleeve of his sweater.

Jungkook clutched his script to his chest, now marked with colored tabs and highlighters after he met with Taehyung. “I know.”

“Jungkook–ssi!” Jungkook turned his head to see Director Choi approaching him, the older man crossing the room with surprising speed. “Good to see you. How was your weekend?”

Jungkook bowed on instinct. “H–Hello, Mr. Choi. My weekend was good, spent it studying. Thank you.”

Director Choi gave him an approving nod. “Nervous?”

“A little.”

“Good.”

Before Jungkook could decide if that was a good or bad thing, the faint scent of lavender and rain began to drift into the room. The energy shifted immediately as Taehyung entered the room. He greeted everyone easily and by name with warm smiles, a testament to how long he’d been cemented in the industry.

When his eyes finally landed on Jungkook, he walked towards him. “Morning.”

Jungkook bowed slightly. “Morning, sunbaenim.”

The director looked at them with satisfaction. “I want to thank you both for meeting before this.”

Taehyung glanced toward Jungkook. “It helped.”

“I thought it might.” His eyes gleamed with enthusiasm. “Now let’s see what kind of chemistry you two have.”

The conversation gradually settled down as everyone found their seats. Jungkook found his name card printed in bold letters.

JEON JUNGKOOK

Predictably, right next to him was Taehyung.

KIM TAEHYUNG

The alpha pulled out the seat beside him and plopped his copy of the script on the table. He glanced over to Jungkook once again. “Did some studying, I see.” He hummed.

“Yeah.” He ran his hands over the slightly curled edges. “I took your advice.”

Taehyung smiled at that. “Good.”

The first day went better than Jungkook expected. After the initial ten minutes of fighting the urge to fidget whenever someone else spoke, he almost forgot where he was. He simply watched the other actors who were professionals like Taehyung and listened to how they read their lines and carried themselves.

The morning disappeared quickly, scene by scene. Jungkook realised acting wasn’t all so hard, and that he’d psyched himself out over nothing. He asked questions whenever director Choi paused for discussion, sometimes earning a thoughtful nod, sometimes sparking conversations that lasted fifteen minutes because someone interpreted the same moment completely differently.

It reminded him of working on music, there was never one right answer, and everyone had different views. By lunchtime, he’d forgotten how to be nervous. As everyone stretched their legs and socialized during the break, Jungkook ate his lunch.

One of the supporting actors, someone Jungkook recognized from many films, approached him. “So,” He mused with a smile as he pulled the seat out next to him, “The golden idol can act.”

Jungkook laughed, “You thought I’d be terrible?”

“I wouldn’t say that,” He said. “Just wasn’t expecting something so good.”

“Trust me, me either.”

Across the room, Taehyung heard the exchange but said nothing. After lunch, the rehearsal room changed. The tables had been pushed to the side, and the floor had been marked with blue tape for standing positions.

Another man Jungkook hadn’t seen that morning was in the room. He assumed he was another member of staff, but he and Director Choi approached Jungkook.

The man was a beta, Jungkook could tell from his muted cotton scent, and he looked to be around the same age as Taehyung, in his early forties. “Jungkook–ssi, I’d like to introduce you to the intimacy coordinator.” Director Choi said.

The man extended a hand. “Kim Seokjin, nice to meet you, Jungkook–ssi. Quite the fan of your work.” He smiled warmly.

“Nice to meet you too. Thank you.” He said, taking his hand and shaking it.

Jin looked to Taehyung standing next to Jungkook. “Taehyung is already familiar with me, but I’ll be working with you throughout production to choreograph physical intimacy, make sure everyone's boundaries are respected, and ensure every scene is performed safely and consistently.”

Jungkook nodded, feeling his ears get hot again.

“Despite my title, my job isn’t just for the intimate scenes,” Jin continued. “It’s hand placements, dancing, kissing, hugging. Everything involved with touching.”

“Understood.”

Jin smiled. “Okay, let’s try to ease these nerves with some practice exercises.” What he said next made Jungkook’s stomach drop: “Stage kissing.”

Of course, there would be that. Taehyung chuckled, his hands in his pockets like this was nothing new. “Kissing on the first day? Coming out swinging, huh?”

“Well, I read the script. There are about ten kisses between you two, plus the big intimacy scene.” Jin pulled a small notebook from his back pocket. “No harm in getting some practice in. Come, you two.”

Jungkook briefly considered pretending he forgot how to walk. Unfortunately, his feet carried him over a few inches shy of a marked X in front of Taehyung.

“Closer.” Jin urged him. “He won’t bite, I promise.”

Jungkook stepped closer and was once again made aware of how tall Taehyung was, and his lavender and rain scent clung to him. The rest of the cast politely busied themselves with scripts, though Jungkook could feel enough curious eyes drifting over to make the back of his neck warm.

“Now, the kiss is all about the illusion of contact. The key is all in the angles and to trick the audience into thinking you two are kissing.” Jin then began to maneuver their positions. “The actual contact is not lip-to-lip. It is the corner of the mouth, the upper lip against the lower lip, with a hand cupping the jaw or cheek to obscure the exact point of contact.”

“Our lips will touch?” Jungkook asked.

“Only a little,” The beta said. “Let’s practice, shall we?”

Taehyung nodded, looking down at Jungkook. “Let’s do the one towards the end of the movie when we reunite. Do you remember?”

“Y–Yes.”

“Good idea.” Jin stepped over to the sidelines with his notebook. “Positions, Taehyung, you reach for his face. Jungkook-ssi, you lean in slightly. Remember the head tilts.”

Jungkook swallowed the lump in his throat. All he had to do was stay cool, this wasn’t a real kiss, and he shouldn’t panic, but when Taehyung’s broad hands touched his waist and the other on his cheek, that was hard to do.

“Ready?” Taehyung asked.

Jungkook gave a tiny nod, he didn’t trust his voice not to humiliate him.

“Move to contact.” Jin directed.

Jungkook’s brain was screaming instructions: Tilt, press corner, hold, release. Taehyung’s hand came the rest of the way, his palm settling against Jungkook’s jaw, his thumb resting just below his cheekbone. The touch was electric, and Jungkook leaned in the final inch.

And his brain short-circuited.

Overwhelmed by the proximity, the scent, and the intense heat of Taehyung’s hand, he forgot every instruction. Instead of angling for the corner, he turned his head a fraction too far and closed the distance with a sudden, panicked impulsiveness.

His lips met Taehyung’s briefly, softly, in a real kiss. A jolt shot straight down Jungkook’s spine, pooling low in his belly. He recoiled as if he’d been burned, nearly tripping over his feet in his haste to release himself from Taehyung’s grip.

His sweet scent bloomed, tigerlilies and vanilla filling the space. His face burned a mortified scarlet, hands shooting up to his mouth in humiliation. “Oh! Oh m–my Moon, sunbaenim, I–I didn’t mean to! I’m so s-sorry!” He squeaked as he tumbled out an apology.

Taehyung remained unaffected, his scent still controlled, though the rain portion of his scent might have deepened a fraction. “It’s alright, Jungkook–ssi. It happens.”

“I’m so sorry,” Jungkook said again, lowering his head in shame. Across the room, someone failed to disguise a laugh as a cough, adding more fuel to the omega’s fire.

The alpha shrugged, “No harm done.”

Jungkook looked up at him cautiously. “R–Really?”

“It was your first time, you just panicked,” Taehyung assured him.

He scratched the back of his head sheepishly. “I really did.” His innocent admission earned him a few chuckles around the room, enough to dissolve the tension.

Jin clapped his hands. “See? This is why we practice.” He stepped forward and placed a hand on Jungkook’s shoulder. “Breathe, kid, before you attract every bee in Seoul.” They paused for a moment to take a quick water break, much to Jungkook’s relief, so his cheeks could return to normal and his scent could mellow down.

They returned to their designated spots. “Taehyung will lead this one and show you how to do it properly.” Jin said, “Just follow his lead.”

Jungkook nodded, looking up to the older alpha for guidance. They settled back into their positions, Jungkook’s hands on Taehyung’s broad shoulders and his on his waist and chin. “Don’t think about the kiss,” He murmured. “Focus on the movement instead. Ready?”

“I’m ready.”

This time, when they moved together, Jungkook obeyed. He let Taehyung’s hand position him, the alpha using gentle pressure to tilt his head up and to the right, his to the left. Their faces were once again in close, breath-sharing proximity. Taehyung moved in slowly, and his mouth met the corner of Jungkook’s. He held it for the precise three-count, then pulled back.

“Excellent!” Jin beamed. “That’s how it’s done, much better.”

They ran it five more times, each one better than the last. As the session ended and Jin began discussing the next phase of intimacy choreography for the later scenes, Jungkook finally felt his heartbeat begin to settle.

After everyone packed up, Director Choi stood in the center of the room. “Wonderful work today, everyone. We’ll begin filming next week on location in Gwangju, so make sure you’re aware of times and dates. I look forward to filming with you all.”

Everyone bowed to the director and bid their farewells to one another until they met again. They filed out of the room one by one, and Jungkook and Taehyung found themselves walking out together.

Jungkook had his hands stuffed into his pockets, head downcast to the carpeted hallway. “I was a mess today, wasn’t I?” He mumbled.

Taehyung glanced at him, keeping his pace. “I wouldn’t say that, you’re just not used to this lifestyle yet.”

“I kissed you today… I don’t know if I’m cut out for this.” For once, Jungkook was voicing his insecurities openly to him.

That made Taehyung stop in his tracks, and Jungkook did the same. “Don’t doubt yourself, Jungkook.” The loss of the honorific wasn’t lost on the omega. “Don’t let one little mistake kill your confidence. Besides, everyone in that room, including me, has seen worse on set. That was nothing.”

Jungkook felt his cheeks burn for what felt like the millionth time that day. “That was still so embarrassing, worse than the time when my pants fell down during an Inkigayo performance…”

Taehyung chuckled, his eyes softening. “Don’t worry, I’ve had one of my co-stars puke on me before. That’s why I didn’t care when you kissed me. Stuff like that happens to the best of us.”

“Oh, that actually makes me feel better.” Jungkook smiled as they began to walk down the hallway again. They reached the elevator and stepped inside together, the only sound in the space being the calm elevator music.

On the bottom floor, they parted ways. “I’ll see you in Gwangju next week,” Taehyung said.

“See you next week,” Jungkook bowed slightly. “And thank you again, sunbaenim. You’ve been too kind since the beginning. I appreciate it.”

“I’m just being a good senior, I can tell you’re nervous. There’s no need for me to apply more pressure.” He gave a sly smile then, “Give it another few years and maybe you’ll get the mean side of me.”

Jungkook laughed, “Thank you, sunbaenim. I’ll look forward to it.”

“See you, Jungkook.”

Jungkook tried to ignore the butterflies in his stomach. “Bye, sunbaenim.”

x

The first month of filming passed in a rhythm that quickly became second nature.

Most mornings began before sunrise. Makeup call was usually sometime around five-thirty, followed by costume fittings, lighting adjustments, and the familiar blur of assistants hurrying between trailers with coffee carriers balanced in one hand and revised call sheets tucked beneath the other. Jungkook had imagined movie sets would feel glamorous, but after a few weeks, he learned they were no different than any other set he’d been on.

By the third week, the crew had stopped treating Jungkook like an idol visiting an actor’s world and started treating him like one of their leads. That morning, production had taken over a quiet residential neighborhood on the outskirts of Gwangju. It was twelve at night, shooting for a nighttime scene outside of a purposefully rundown convenience store. Jungkook yawned and tightened his blanket around himself as the set crew finished getting the set ready.

A makeup artist dabbed a bit of powder under his eyes, and a hairstylist touched up his hair. “They’re almost ready for you, Jungkook–ssi.” The stylist told him.

Jungkook nodded and tried not to yawn again as he closed his eyes. His character was dressed casually, hoodie under a worn denim jacket, sneakers slightly scuffed by the production department.

Across the street, Taehyung stood with Director Choi and the cinematographer, listening to whatever notes were being given with his usual quiet focus. In wardrobe, his character wore an expensive black coat, sharp and out of place against the cheap plastic tables and chairs outside the convenience store, a visible reminder of the years and money and distance that had grown between them.

This was a big scene, Director Choi had said this was the turning point between their two characters that would drag on into the second and third acts. “Jungkook–ssi! We’re ready for you.” Director Choi called.

The stylists quickly finished up the last touches, making his eyes look tired with a natural dark eyeshadow, and the extensions in his hair to make it look wild and untouched. He shrugged off the blanket he was wearing and took his spot in one of the chairs.

There were two banana milks placed between him and the empty chair across from him, along with a cup of instant ramyeon that had gone cold during setup but would still steam on camera thanks to a hidden prop trick. Taehyung stepped over a moment later and pulled out the seat across from Jungkook.

In an instant, Kim Taehyung was wiped away and replaced by his character, Min Haewon, the man who’d left the boy and town he loved.

Jungkook, by contrast, morphed into Park Yihyun, the one who stayed.

“Ready?” Director Choi called over the set. No one answered with words as the cameras settled and the sound techs watched the monitors. “Action! Scene twenty-one, take one, rolling.”

For a moment, neither of them spoke, as the start of the scene called for silence. Jungkook poked around his ramen with the chopsticks, not looking up at Taehyung as he started his first line, “You came back.” He whispered.

“I told you I would.”

Jungkook snorted, and he reached for one of the cartons on the table. “Saved one for you, like always.” He said, pushing it towards Taehyung.

“I don’t drink that anymore,” Taehyung answered.

“Liar.” Jungkook grabbed his own carton and stabbed the straw in with too much force. “You’d drink yours and then steal mine when I wasn’t looking.”

Taehyung cast his eyes downward solemnly before he whispered, “That was a long time ago.”

Jungkook let irritation paint his features, and he stood up from the table. “You’ve been saying that a lot lately, like that fixes everything.” He began to walk away, subtly counting each step in his head to make sure his pacing was correct.

Taehyung followed after him, “Yihyun–”

“Don’t.” Jungkook spun back to face him. “You don’t get to say my name like that.”

Taehyung let his expression shift. “Like what?”

“As if you know me,” Jungkook spat with so much venom that Director Choi leaned forward in his seat. “You show up after twelve years with no contact, and you look at me like I’m the difficult one? You don’t have that right. You just left me, Haewon–ah.”

“I was twenty,” Taehyung said, voice rough, “I…I didn’t know how to come back.”

“Do you know how stupid I felt waiting for you?” He whispered, letting his eyes grow wet, “Every Friday, outside of this convenience store, waiting like a damn fool. You said we’d eat ramyeon here after graduation. Remember that? You said once we were adults, no one could stop us from wasting money on convenience store food at midnight.” Jungkook let his first tear fall, and the camera captured it rolling down his cheek.

Taehyung stepped forward. “I didn’t know.”

“Always the same excuse with you,” Jungkook laughed bitterly. “I wish you didn’t come back.”

Taehyung stepped forward, getting in Jungkook’s space so close that it would have made him blush weeks ago, but he kept his composure as the alpha spoke his line, “You don’t really mean that, do you?”

Jungkook smiled softly, chuckling, “No.” He looked up at Taehyung with glassy eyes. “And that’s the pathetic part. I waited years for you.”

“So did I.”

The words landed as a punch, as they intended. Jungkook captured the hurt and embedded it into his next action, reeling back his arm to deliver a slap to Taehyung’s face. The sound department did their part with the effects as Taehyung's head snapped sideways with practiced precision, the sound effect landing perfectly in sync with Jungkook's swing. The illusion was flawless, though some cast and crew still flinched despite knowing it was coming.

Jungkook stood frozen, his hand still suspended in the air as the anger drained slowly from his face. He looked at Taehyung with all the hurt he could muster, another perfect tear sliding down his cheek. “I’m so tired.” He whispered, voice scattered.

Taehyung looked back at him, one hand still resting against his own cheek where the staged slap had landed moments before. His eyes had softened completely. "So am I."

Neither of them moved, another scripted beat of silence, before Director Choi’s voice rang out, “Cut!” He called, killing all tension in the atmosphere. The boom mic operator lowered it and stepped away, the crew coming in to wrap blankets back around them to shield them from the cold.

Jungkook blinked as he came back to reality. A stylist cleaned up the tears that’d streaked through his makeup. “Was that okay?” He asked, his gaze directed at Choi.

“Okay?” Director Choi stepped out of his chair. “It was phenomenal! I got chills, Jungkook–sii!”

The warmth that ran through him was embarrassing, and he bowed quickly. “Thank you, director.”

Choi then turned to his assistant director, “We keep that take. Reset for coverage, but that one is the body of it.” He said, walking away as quickly as he came, leaving Jungkook flushed from the praise.

The crew moved immediately, resetting the scene even down to the minute details of how the chairs and banana milks were positioned. After his touch-up, Jungkook turned to Taehyung to gauge his reaction. “Was my face boring?” He asked.

Taehyung stared at him for a long moment. “Did you hear what Choi said to you?”

“Yes.”

“Then you don’t need my opinions.” The alpha smirked. “Haven’t heard anything like that from him in years. Your performance was perfect.”

Jungkook's cheeks turned a vibrant pink, he could feel the rosy color pushing past his skin. “R–Really?”

“Mhm.” Taehyung turned on his heels to get his own touch-ups done, but he gave Jungkook a sly smile over his shoulder. “Though, lose that blush on your cheeks, it doesn’t really suit the scene, yeah?”

Jungkook squeaked from embarrassment, it was like everyone was on a mission to get him flustered this evening. After the scene was reset, they ran through it all over again, and he kept his same fiery passion.

When Choi finally wrapped them for the night, it was nearly two in the morning. Jungkook was exhausted, yet so proud of himself that he thought he might float. He carried that high with him for weeks through every scene they filmed going forward until reality came crashing into him.

It was time for the sex scene.

The closed set did not feel any less crowded just because half the crew had been asked to leave. Jungkook knew, logically, that the production had done everything properly. Jin had walked them through the choreography twice before they even stepped onto the set that evening and had checked in with both of them separately. It didn’t calm Jungkook in the slightest.

The omega sat off to the side, already dressed in a soft sweater that was two sizes too big and a pair of shorts. He was meant to look like he’d had his evening interrupted when Taehyung came to his apartment for the scene.

Taehyung was in his character’s usual attire with a button-down top that Jungkook was meant to pop open and fitted slacks. His hair was styled a bit looser with a few messy strands on his forehead. Beneath both of their outfits were modesty garments for when they would eventually need to undress.

Jungkook tried to control his bouncing knee and nerves, but it felt impossible. Jin noticed his demeanor and approached him with his usual warm smile, “Hey. You remember the sequence?”

“Yes, Hyung, I remember.”

“I know you do. I’m making your nervous little brain say it out loud.”

Jungkook gave him a wounded look. “My brain is not nervous.”

“Your scent says otherwise.”

Jungkook felt heat rise on his neck. He had been trying to keep his scent under control, and even when they were doing dry runs a few weeks ago, his scent still sweetened up. His omega biology had a sick sense of humor. “It’s not that bad…” He whispered.

Jin’s expression softened, though his mouth still threatened to smile. “It’s not terrible. Yet. Just breathe. You’re safe here.”

That helped him enough to ease his shoulders. Jungkook let out a slow breath, then nodded again. He was not going to embarrass himself. He had worked too hard the past few weeks to let one scene undo him.

“Places.” Director Choi called.

Jungkook sighed and took his place near the bed, the linen brushing against his calves. Taehyung took his spot in front of him, already in character with dark, needy eyes that made Jungkook’s knees weak.

“Scene fifty-eight, take one, action!” Choi called from behind his monitor.

For a few seconds, Jungkook was fine. He played his part with his arms clutching his frame, face covered with years of hurt. “You don’t have to stay.”

Taehyung stepped forward to his mark. “I know, but you need me.”

“Need you?” Jungkook scoffed. “You’re just now figuring that out?”

“It took me twelve years to stop running away from the fact that I love you.” Taehyung closed the distance between them, his soft hands reaching up to cup Jungkook’s cheeks. “And I’m ready to show you the truth.” He leaned in for the kiss. Jungkook was used to that by now, but it was the way he was pushed down to the bed that had him squeaking in embarrassment.

“Cut,” Choi said immediately. “What was that?”

Jungkook closed his eyes briefly. “I’m sorry.”

“Again,” Director Choi said, eyes already back on the monitor.

They reset, and the second take was somehow worse. Jungkook was so stiff he didn’t give Taehyung enough leeway to properly push him onto the bed, and they stumbled slightly. Choi stared at the monitor for a moment, then removed his glasses. That was never a good sign. “Jungkook-ssi, why are you standing like a mannequin?”

“Sorry.”

“Don’t apologize, fix it.” Choi continued, “You’re not posing for a perfume advertisement. Stop thinking about how you look and start thinking about what he is doing to you.”

The instruction landed in the wrong part of Jungkook’s brain.

What he is doing to you.

Jungkook’s scent bloomed so sweetly, and he watched something in Taehyung’s face tighten for a second. “Oh my Moon.”

Jin stepped forward before the omega’s scent could respond in a way that got them all killed. “Let’s take thirty seconds.” Choi waved a dismissive hand.

The crew adjusted and reset the scene again while Jungkook tried not to spiral. He could feel his scent growing sweeter with every passing second, nerves tangled with embarrassment until the air around him felt sticky with it. Not his heat, not even close, but enough to be noticeable and unprofessional.

“Jungkook,” Taehyung said softly. Jungkook looked up at him immediately. “You’re trying to control too much at once.”

“I know.”

“You’re trying to control your scent, your body, the cameras, and my actions.” The alpha placed a hand on his shoulder. “Just breathe and relax.”

Jin wiped a wax stick of scent blocker across Jungkook’s scent gland. “I’m about to get a toothache just from smelling you.” He joked, though it did little to ease Jungkook’s tension.

They tried again. Over and over, and each retake failed in its own humiliating way. In one, Jungkook’s face went too blank because he was focusing so hard on keeping his scent down that he forgot to feel anything at all. In another, he overcorrected and looked so aggressively longing that Choi cut almost immediately and said he looked like he wanted to eat Taehyung instead of loving him.

By the sixth take, Jungkook’s body decided there was no winning. If he focused on acting, his scent grew sweet. If he focused on controlling his scent, his performance became stiff. If he tried to split his attention evenly, he missed cues and looked terrified. The embarrassment fed the scent, the scent fed the embarrassment. His scent, which he was usually so good at controlling, felt childish and loud as it pushed through the expensive scent blockers, and suddenly he felt like he couldn’t do his job.

Taehyung remained professional through it all, which was both helpful yet added to the humiliation. His calmness only showed the stark difference between them. Taehyung had years of experience to stand on while Jungkook was making a fool of himself.

The final attempt that day ended up being their furthest. They had successfully made it to the bed, Taehyung hovering above Jungkook with his arms caging him in. One of his hands went to slide up Jungkook’s sweater, his fingers grazing his stomach in the choreographed motion.

Jungkook gasped, completely unscripted. His back arched slightly off the mattress, a purely instinctive omega response to an alpha’s touch. The movement pressed his torso more firmly against Taehyung’s hovering chest for a fleeting second. The wave of vanilla-sugar scent that rolled off him then was so potent, so thickly sweet, it was almost visible in the air.

He froze, horrified. His eyes, wide and desperate, flew from Taehyung’s intense, unreadable face down to Jin. He was watching them, his kind eyes now filled with a professional concern that did nothing to alleviate Jungkook’s terror.

He took a slow breath, his own beta scent pushing gently against the dense omega-alpha melody mixing in the air. “Jungkook-ssi,” Jin said, his voice calm but firm. “I think we need to pause.”

Taehyung immediately pushed himself back up to a kneeling position, breaking all contact. He turned his head away, running a hand through his hair, his shoulders rising and falling with a deep, controlled breath. His scent, for the first time, seemed to have a ragged edge to it, the rain note losing its control.

“I–I’m sorry, I keep m–messing it up,” Jungkoook curled into himself, and a blanket was placed over his shoulders by Jin. “I can’t c–control it, I’m s–sorry.” He was on the verge of tears at this point from frustration. Why couldn’t he just get it right?

Jin crouched next to the bed to comfort him while giving some much-needed space. “It’s okay, Jungkook–ah. It’s only your body reacting, it doesn’t reflect your abilities.”

Taehyung had pulled his robe on at this point and walked a few paces away to a mini-fridge to grab two water bottles. “It’s a lot for your first time,” He said, handing one bottle to Jungkook. “The context is a lot.”

Choi stood from his chair and removed his headphones. “We’re done for the day, we’ll reconvene in a week.”

Jungkook’s stomach dropped. “A week? No, I can–”

“No,” Choi interrupted, “A week. I want you to relax and not even open the script during that time. Calm your nerves and your scent, that’s all your homework is. You can act your ass off, but it’s no good if you’re fighting with your body the entire time.”

Jungkook cast his eyes down, “Yes, director.”

“Good, and in that time, I expect your scent to cooperate with our filming schedule.” Choi smiled a little, then turned to the assistant director to discuss rescheduling. Just like that, everything turned technical again.

Jin touched his shoulder gently. “Hey,” the omega looked up at him, “You’re not the first person to struggle with their scent, and you won’t be the last.”

Jungkook felt a faint tremble in his lip. “I should be able to control it.”

“You will.”

“I couldn’t.”

“Today,” Jin corrected gently. “You couldn’t today.”

Jungkook nodded because that was easier than answering.

Taehyung was still standing near the bed, robe now tied neatly at his waist, expression blank. He didn’t look disappointed, but Jungkook’s mind was more than willing to fill in the blanks. Maybe Taehyung regretted the casting now, maybe he had always known this would happen, maybe all those weeks of progress had only made the failure more obvious when it finally came.

Jungkook looked away first. “I’ll go change,” he murmured to no one in particular. He went to his dressing room, where he thankfully had a moment to gather his thoughts. He avoided his reflection in the mirror and got dressed quickly. He hurried out of the studio without making contact with anyone else, far too ashamed to let anyone see him.

The first few days of Jungkook’s break passed without ceremony. He wasn’t used to taking breaks like this, taking a break because of a mistake he made. He spent the first day just sleeping all day, which was much needed, and spent the second visiting his parents. He did have to cut the visit short because of how much both of his mothers were gushing about Taehyung and if they could meet him at the premeire.

Jungkook didn’t realise how good it felt to do absolutely nothing. On the third day, he wandered around his penthouse barefoot, watering the neglected plants lining his windowsills before settling on the couch with a movie he'd already seen three times.

It, of course, starred Taehyung. Back when he was about ten years younger. It felt strange to see him on the screen now that he’d actually acted beside him, though it didn’t dampen the experience of watching the movie. If anything, it made it more enriching since he knew Taehyung on some sort of personal level.

This drama he was watching was scandalous compared to what Jungkook had to do. The movie’s whole plot was basically sex and nothing else, as the premise was an alpha having a secret relationship with his employee. It was filth, with Taehyung’s hands and mouth on his co–lead in almost every scene.

Jungkook had a pillow clutched to his chest like he was watching something he wasn’t supposed to. His eyes were glued to the screen as Taehyung practically tore off his secretary’s top and attached his lips to heated skin.

Jungkook could barely focus on the scene as he thought about his own tigerlily and vanilla scent polluting the set simply from Taehyung’s hands on his waist and pushing him against the bed. Moon knows how terribly sweet his scent would be if he had to even film a fraction of this.

He groaned quietly into the cushion, “I’m never going to live that down.”

Beside him, his phone buzzed. Expecting Jimin, he picked it up without thinking. Instead of his best friend, though, the caller ID made his cheeks light all over again.

Taehyung

Jungkook nearly threw his phone across the room. He sat up quickly and opened the message.

Taehyung:

| Are you busy this evening?

Jungkook looked up to the ceiling, then back down at his phone. His thumbs hovered nervously over the keyboard before he sent a response.

| Not really

Taehyung responded almost immediately.

Taehyung:

| Are you able to come over?

| I think we should talk

Jungkook stared at his phone like he suddenly lost the ability to understand Korean. Talk? About what? His mind was reeling with all types of scenarios, but before he could fully panic, another text came through.

Taehyung:

| No scripts or work, just dinner

Those words eased the tension in Jungkook’s chest. Before he could talk himself out of it, he quickly replied.

| Okay

Two hours later, Jungkook found himself outside of Taehyung’s home. He drove himself instead of his chauffeur, he couldn’t risk Yuna finding out he was here. On the way here, he’d convinced himself that this was all normal, co–stars met outside of work all the time. There was nothing strange about going to Kim Taehyung’s home alone after ruining an intimate scene so badly that Director Choi paused production for an entire week.

Nothing at all. His stomach disagreed, though.

Taehyung’s home was tucked in one of Seoul’s quiet, wealthy neighborhoods. The alpha’s home was modern, with beautifully trimmed hedges and flower bushes lining the entrance. Jungkook took a moment in his car to collect himself and apply a neutral perfume on his neck and wrists to disguise his scent.

He approached the heavy wooden doors and rang the doorbell. He could hear the loud chime sounding throughout the home, footsteps, and then an enthusiastic sound of barking coming towards the door.

Taehyung was opening the door a moment later, dressed down in a pair of grey sweatpants and a white tanktop. Before Jungkook could even get in a greeting, an enthusiastic dog darted between the alpha’s ankles.

Jungkook crouched on instinct and laughed as the fluffy dog yipped at him. “Well, hello.”

Taehyung sighed, “As you can see, we don’t get visitors often.” The little dog stood on his hind legs with his equally tiny paws, his tail wagging so hard it shook his body. “His name is Yeontan.”

“Hi, Yeontan.” Jungkook cooed as he scratched behind one of his soft ears.

Taehyung smiled at the exchange. “Come on in.” He said, stepping aside.

Jungkook entered behind Taehyung, and they entered the lavish home. There were a few eccentric sculptures and paintings in the warm space. There was a full bookcase, and along the wall were framed, personal pictures that Jungkook knew better than to stare at too long.

Jungkook followed Taehyung until they reached a kitchen with low, warm lighting and marble countertops. “Make yourself comfortable, I finished dinner.” Taehyung hummed.

Jungkook settled at the island. “You cooked?”

“Mhm,” Taehyung said, “I had to make a good first impression.”

Soon, Taehyung was serving them fresh carbonara with pork belly on the side. They talked about everything and nothing all at once, except for work. Music, foods they ate while they travelled overseas, favorite countries to visit, everything under the sun until Jungkook’s nerves had lessened. .

Taehyung swirls his wine in his glass. “So,” He drawled, and Jungkook knew from his tone he was about to shift to why the shoot had stopped, “What happened that day during rehearsal? Did I push too far?”

Jungkook pushed his half-empty bowl of food around. “It wasn’t you, sunbaenim. I ruined the session from my lack of control.”

Taehyung leaned forward. “Jin said it was your biology, not you, and this is not the first time something like this has happened on one of my sets, so it’s nothing new to me.” His dark eyes met Jungkook’s. “Our chemistry was some of the best in my entire career, but this scene is troubling you. You’re a great performer, so why is this frightening you so much?”

The omega let out a ragged breath. He couldn’t lie to this man, not with those eyes on him. “I…I don’t know how to sell it. I've never done this before. Any of it. Acting in something this intimate, pretending to feel these things, and I thought I could just fake it, just follow the choreography, but my body… my body doesn't know how because I’ve never…”

He couldn’t say it. He looked down again, his face burning.

“You’ve never…?” Taehyung prompted.

He squeezed his eyes shut. “I’ve never done any of it,” He blurted out the confession before his brain could stop him. “I’m a virgin.”

The word echoed in the quiet, luxurious room. Virgin. It sounded absurd, juvenile, utterly pathetic in the presence of a man like Kim Taehyung. He kept his eyes squeezed shut, waiting for a laugh, a scoff, something.

“I see,” Taehyung said simply, though his voice had dropped an octave. “That explains a great deal.”

“It explains all of it,” Jungkook sighs, and he begins to ramble, “I don’t know how to fake it. I've never been with anyone. I don't know what it feels like. The intimacy. The… the sex. I don't know how to sell the scene because I don't know what I'm selling. I've been trying to research, to watch stuff, to imagine, but it's not the same. And when we were in that rehearsal, and your hands were on me, and you were so close, my body just–”

He didn’t get to finish his vulnerable ramble before Taehyung was moving so quickly his chair knocked behind him, then he was in front of Jungkook. His big hands cupped his cheeks, and their lips met. It was nothing like the rehearsed and perfectly choreographed kisses from the set, it was messy, hungry, and it had Jungkook whimpering in Taehyung’s mouth.

“Fuck,” The alpha breathed, his scent of lavender and rain exploding around them and making Jungkook’s head spin, “Fuck, do you have any idea what you do to me? Do you know how long I’ve been holding back?”

Jungkook’s breath caught. His scent bloomed sweetly, it had Taehyung growling. He’d barely even caught a whiff of Taehyung’s scent while on set, he was a professional afterall and had no problem keeping his scent under wraps infront of the cameras. Here in his home, he was letting it out full force and Jungkook could feel the space in his briefs become tighter.

“S–Sunbaenim–” Jungkook gasped once their lips broke.

“Taehyung,” The alpha corrected roughly, “No formalities here.”

“Taehyung,” Jungkook whispered breathlessly.

Taehyung kissed him again, his tongue pressing against his lips. Jungkook melted. There was no other word for it. The weeks of tension, the confusion, the shame, the desperate, unfamiliar wanting, all dissolved under the onslaught of Taehyung's kiss. He opened his mouth with a soft, surrendering moan, letting the alpha's tongue sweep inside, tasting him, claiming him. His hands, which had been frozen at his sides, came up to clutch at Taehyung's linen shirt, fisting the soft fabric, pulling him closer. The alpha growled low in his chest and deepened the kiss further.

“You have no idea,” Taehyung rasped in between kisses, “how long I’ve wanted to do this. Ever since you walked into that table read, all nerves and sweetness, and I knew. I fucking knew I was in trouble."

Jungkook’s head was spinning and he felt his body reaching levels of arousal he didn’t think were possible outside of his heat. “But I…” He started, “I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to–”

“I know,” Taehyung cut him off. “I know, baby. I want to be the one who teaches you what your body's been asking for. I want to feel you let go, completely, the way you couldn't in the rehearsal. I want to hear you, smell you, taste every inch of your sweetness. Will you let me?"

Jungkook’s response was a desperate mewl, “Yes, please.”

Taehyung pulled him up from his seat, “Come with me.” He led him through the halls and passed doors until they reached his bedroom. Taehyung’s lips were on his again as he was pushed down on the bed. Jungkook’s hands fisted in his shirt, unsure of what to do with his hands.

Jungkook whimpered as Taehyung’s lips left his mouth and instead ventured to his exposed neck. The omega let out a broken, desperate moan, his back arching off the bed, his body finally, blissfully surrendering to the alpha's claim. “T–Taehyung…”

“I know, baby, I know. Let’s get you out of this.” His hands went down to the hem of his shirt and he lifted his arms obidently. The shirt was tossed on the floor and Jungkook was left exposed. His lean body and toned stomach was revealed to the hungry alpha. “Look at you, trembling like a leaf. Sweet little thing.”

Jungkook’s stomach did a backflip at the nickname and his hips gave an involuntary jerk. Taehyung’s lips were back onhis heated skin as he peppered kisses across his chest, even a teasing one to one of Jungkook’s nipples, making him arch his back slightly

Taehyung’s mouth was like a life wire against Jungkook’s heated skin. He worked with precision as skilled hands worked the button and zipper of Jungkook’s jeans. “Lift your hips for me, baby.” He commanded in that smae gruff voice from earlier against Jungkook’s scent gland.

Jungkook obeyed without question, and Taehyung peeled the denim down his legs, taking his underwear with them in one fluid motion, leaving Jungkook completely bare beneath his gaze. The cool air hit his now exposed lower half and he tried to cover himself before Taehyung could get a glimpse, but he was quicker, punning his hands to the bed.

“S–Sunbaenim…” Jungkook whimpered, naturally bringing back the honorific.

“Don’t hide yourself from me, ever.” Taehyung’s canines grazed Jungkook’s ear. He lay there completely vulnerable under the alpha’s hungry gaze. Taehyung’s eyes racked down his body, taking in the sight of his perfect body. His usually hidden tattoos under either garments or layers of make up were being taken in, “Beautiful.” He says, kissing Jungkook’s tattooed hand.

Jungkook squirmed under the attention as Taehyung practically devoured him with his eyes. From the first kiss, he’d been hyperaware of how hard his cock was. He could feel his precum soaking his thighs and slick leaking steadily from him. Taehyung seemed to notice too, he licked his lips in appreciation.

"Fuck," Taehyung breathed, his voice barely more than a growl. "Look at you. So pretty. So responsive." He released one of Jungkook's wrists to trail his fingers down the omega's abdomen."Your little cock is already getting hard for me. Is that what happens when an alpha touches you? You just bloom?"

Jungkook’s face burned red, “I–I, um, it’s–” He couldn’t even form a coherent sentence as Taehyung’s large, cold hands kept exploring. His fingers were tracing lower now, circling his navel, skimming through the dark curls just above his cock.

And then, Taehyung’s hands paused.

His fingers had encountered something wet in the space beneath Jungkook’s cock, something that shouldn’t have presented itself outside of a heat cycle. Jungkook felt the shift in attention and his blood ran cold, then hot, then cold again.

There, just beneath the base of his small, flushed cock, where normally there was nothing but smooth, unbroken skin, a slit had opened. It was delicate, pink, and unmistakably wet. His heatslit had bloomed, such an intimate place meant for breeding, bonding, and mates, yet it had opened so easily for Taehyung.

Jungkook let out a horrified whimper, his palms pressing frantically over his exposed sex as if he could somehow push the evidence back inside, seal the slit closed, undo what his traitorous body had done. He attempted to curl into himself, trying to escape Taehyung’s gaze, but his large frame kept his legs open.

“No, no, no,” He babbled and shut his eyes as he felt tears well up, “I’m sorry, i–it’s not supposed to, it’s n–never done this before outside of m–my heat.”

“Oh,” Taehyung breathed, the single syllable loaded with awe and a dark, possessive thrill. “Oh, sweetheart.”

The enderment, so tender, only made Jungkook’s shame worse. “I’m sorry,” he whispered, the tears finally spilling over. “Please, sunbaenim, Taehyung, I’m s–sorry I ruined–”

“Jeon Jungkook,” The alpha’s stern voice cut through the omega’s spiral, “Look at me.”

Jungkook forced his eyes open. Taehyung was still hovering above him, his expression a complex mix of barely-leashed hunger yet gentleness inbetween. His free hand came up to cup Jungkook's burning cheek, his thumb stroking over the heated skin.

"It opened for me," Taehyung said. "Your body opened for me. Outside of your heat, just from my touch, my scent, my mouth on your skin." He leaned down, his lips brushing against Jungkook's ear, his breath hot and shivery. "Do you know what that means? Do you have any idea what that tells me?"

Jungkook shook his head, a tiny, helpless movement. He was trembling all over, caught between the desperate urge to flee and the equally desperate urge to spread his legs and offer himself completely to the alpha who was looking at him like he was something precious and delicious.

“It means your body knows what your mind is still figuring out,” Taehyung rumbled, "Your omega chose me before your mind caught up, before you could overthink it, your body made its decision. It recognized its alpha and it opened. Just for me, so don’t you dare feel embarrassed. This is the hottest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.”

“But…” Jungkook swallowed, still feeling shame on his tongue, “It…It opened so easily.”

“So? That’s the highest praise I’ve ever been given.” Taehyung murmured against his skin, “Let me see what you’ve given me.”

Jungkook’s breath hitched and he felt a switch flip in his overwhelmed brain. His omega was screaming at him, yes, yes, show him, let him see, let him touch. Slowly, he let his trembling hands fall away from his groin. He let his thighs fall open, exposing himself fully to Taehyung's searing gaze.

The alpha's breath left him in a harsh exhale. "Fuck," he whispered. "Oh, fuck, look at you. So beautiful, so pink, so wet. Can I?” He asked, his hand hovering right over his heated sex.

“Please, sunbaenim.” He whispered.

Taehyung’s fingers made contact with his soaked folds and Jungkook’s hips bucked at the foreign sensation. A broken moan left him as he was touched in his most intimate place. “So sensitive, aren’t you, baby?”

“Y–Yes,” Jungkook rolled his hips towards Taehyung’s exploring fingers, “Please, p–please, Taehyung, sunbaenim, I can’t–”

“Can’t what?” Taehyung purposefully slowed his fingers, “I’m not a mind reader, baby. You have to use your words.”

“Need you inside, please, give me something.” He pleaded, hanging on a thread.

Taehyung smirked and obliged, sliding a thick finger in. "Fuck, baby. You're so tight. So wet. Your little pussy is sucking my finger in." He pulled back slowly, watching his finger emerge glistening with Jungkook's slick, then pushed back in, a little deeper. "You opened so easily for me. So fucking eager. Your body knew exactly what it wanted."

Jungkook’s thighs trembled and his back arched off the bed in euphoria, “Oh, y–yes. That feels so g–good.”

“I know, baby,” Taehyung presses a kiss to his inner thigh, peppering kisses on his heated skin, inching closer and closer to his heated core. He pressed a kiss to his mound, then his tongue met Jungkook’s aching clit.

He screamed at the dual contact and nearly came on the spot as Taehyung’s finger and tongue tore him apart. Slowly, he added his ring finger to the first and began to work Jungkook open. The omega's inner walls clenched around the digits. More slick gushed out, coating Taehyung's tongue and chin.

"Fuck, you taste amazing," Taehyung groaned when he finally pulled back for air, his voice wrecked. His chin was shiny with Jungkook's slick, his lips swollen and red. He looked utterly debauched, yet thrilled about it. "Like vanilla and sin. I could eat this pretty little cunt for hours. Would you like that? Hmm?"

Jungkook could only nod frantically, unable to respond with words. The sensation was better than anything he could have done to himself during his desperate heat induced horniness. Taehyung’s fingers picked up the pace slightly with both his tongue and fingers, and Jungkook’s hips began to roll towards the feeling.

The alpha smirked at his desperation, "Look at you," He cooed, pulling his mouth away just long enough to speak. His finger continued its slow, steady movements. "Humping my hand like a needy little thing. Does it feel that good?"

Jungkook whimpered as he felt his end nearing. His cock was leaking steadily onto his stomach, a pool of clear pre-come that smeared across his abs every time he writhed. Taehyung curled his fingers, searching, pressing on a spot on his inner walls that made him scream and convulse.

“There it is,” A hungry grin crossed Taehyung’s face, “That’s your spot isn’t it, baby?” His fingers continued their relentless assault on that sensitive spot inside Jungkook, his other hand moving up to wrap around the omega's neglected little cock. The dual stimulation was devastating. Jungkook could feel the pressure building in his lower belly, a tight, coiling tension that was about to burst.

His slick was everywhere now. He could feel it pooling beneath his ass, soaking into the expensive white sheets, could hear the wet, squelching sounds of Taehyung's fingers moving inside him, growing louder and more obscene with every passing second. The scent of his arousal was thick enough to choke on, vanilla, tigerlilies, and that rich, musky undertone of pure omega need.

“T–Taehyung,” He practically squeaked, his voice growing in pitch. His hands shot down to tangle in the alpha’s hair. The pressure was building to an unbearable peak, his inner walls fluttering wildly around Taehyung's plunging fingers. “T–Too much.”

"Too much? But you're taking them so well," Taehyung praised, his eyes fixed on the place where his fingers were disappearing into Jungkook's wet, eager heat. "Look at your little pussy, swallowing my fingers so greedily. It wants more, doesn't it? It's already getting ready for my cock."

Taehyung added a third finger, stretching Jungkook's virgin opening impossibly wider, and pressed ruthlessly against that spot inside him while his hand moved rapidly over the head of the omega's leaking cock.

Jungkook’s toes curled, and his head spun from being filled. He was losing his mind from just his fingers alone. “S–Sunbaenim! I–I can’t it’s–”

"Let go," Taehyung commanded. "Stop fighting it. Let go and give me everything."

Jungkook’s world exploded.

His body convulsed, his back arching so high off the bed that only his shoulders and toes touched the mattress. A scream was torn from his throat, raw and primal, as something inside him snapped. He felt a gush of liquid, a release that was different from anything he'd ever experienced during his fumbling, half-remembered heat sessions.

"Fuck yes," Taehyung groaned, pulling back to watch, his fingers still working inside Jungkook, drawing out the release. "There it is. There you go, baby. Cum for me." His tongue swiped over the tip of Jungkook’s weeping cock as he released there too.

Jungkook was crying, feeling pleasure from the tips of his toes up to his head. His mind went blank, his body taking over to receive all the pleasure and letting him feel everything. His slick kept coming in rhythmic pulses, each wave triggered by another squeeze of his inner muscles around Taehyung's still moving fingers. His hips jerked uncontrollably, riding out the waves of an orgasm that seemed to go on forever.

“So good for me,” Taehyung slowly eased his motions and pulled his fingers out. Jungkook lay there, limp and trembling, his mind slowly piecing itself back together. The first thing he became aware of was the wetness. It was everywhere, soaking the sheets beneath his ass and thighs, cooling on the insides of his spread legs.

"Oh my Moon," he whispered, his eyes flying open as the realization hit him. "Did I just–did I seriously just–" His hands flew to his face and he covered it in shame.

“You made a mess,” Taehyung licked his lips, “That was the hottest thing I’ve ever seen in my life.”

Jungkook peeked through his fingers, “R–Really?”

“Easily,” Taehyung chuckled and crawled up Jungkook’s trembling body. He moved his hands away from his face and gave him a slow kiss. The omega felt his nerves ease slightly at the praise. Taehyung pulled back and looked down at his prize. “I guess it’s my turn to get undressed, hm?”

“Yes,” Jungkook said a little too quickly, making Taehyung smirk.

Taehyung pulled his shirt over his head, revealing his sculpted body. He'd seen Taehyung's body before, technically. The actor had done shirtless scenes in several of his famous dramas, had graced magazine covers with his shirt unbuttoned and his hair artfully tousled.

This was different, seeing him in the flesh without the modesty garments and robes they wore on set. Taehyung pulled down his sweats, and Jungkook gulped at the size of his bulge pressing against his boxers, then those came off, and his brain short-circuited.

Oh.

Taehyung’s cock was huge, curving up towards his stomach and bobbing slightly with precum leaking from the tip. There was a happy trail of dark curls, and at the base of his cock was the promise of his knot that would lock them together.

“It’s so big.” He breathed, the words a barely audible squeak.

Taehyung let out a rough, pleased chuckle. He wrapped one hand around the base, giving himself a lazy, almost absent stroke that made the thick length bob. "You think so?" he asked, his voice infuriatingly casual.

“Can I touch it?”

"Of course you can, baby," he murmured. "Touch me. Explore. Satisfy your curiosity. I'm all yours."

Jungkook's hand trembled as he reached out. His fingers made contact with the heated skin of Taehyung's shaft, and the alpha let out a low, shuddering breath. He traced the prominent vein that ran along the underside, following it from base to tip with a feather-light touch that made Taehyung's hips jerk forward slightly.

"Sorry," He whispered, snatching his hand back.

"Don't be sorry," Taehyung growled, his voice strained. "Don't stop. Your hands are so soft. So gentle. I've been imagining your hands on me for weeks, Jungkook. Don't you dare stop now."

Emboldened by the alpha's words, Jungkook reached out again, this time with more confidence. He wrapped his fingers around the shaft and marvelled at the sheer size of it in his hands. The contrast between Taehyung's massive alpha cock and his own small omega member was almost comical.

"It's bigger than mine," Jungkook whispered, the words slipping out before he could stop them. He was staring at Taehyung's cock with a mixture of awe and trepidation, his fingers exploring the thick length with curiosity.

Taehyung's chuckle deepened into a full, warm laugh. He reached out with his free hand and gently cupped Jungkook's jaw, tilting his face up to meet his eyes. "That’s because yours is for decoration, baby," he said, his voice a teasing rumble. "Your little omega cock isn't meant for fucking. It's just a pretty accessory. A cute little button that gets hard when you're turned on.”

Jungkook’s face flamed at his anatomy being spoken about in such a manner. “It’s thick, too,” he said, continuing to stroke the hot length. “Is… Is it going to hurt?”

The alpha’s expression softened, and his hand came up to stroke Jungkook’s hair. “Maybe a little at first, I won’t lie to you. But I'll take my time, baby. I'll make it so good for you.”

He bit his lip, and he felt a fresh gush of slick leak from his needy hole. “I trust you. I want you, Taehyung.”

Taehyung let out a low, guttural groan, and then he was moving, positioning himself between Jungkook's spread thighs. The omega's legs fell open naturally, instinctively, making room for the alpha's bulk. The sight of him there with broad shoulders, that massive cock bobbing heavy and hard between his legs was almost too much to bear. Jungkook felt impossibly small and vulnerable beneath him, but he didn’t close his legs or hide.

"Look at you," Taehyung murmured. He ran his hands up the insides of Jungkook's thighs, pushing them further apart. "So pretty. So ready for me." His fingers found the slick, puffy lips of Jungkook's heat slit, spreading them gently. “Made to be spread open and filled. Made to take an alpha's cock."

“Please.”

"What do you need, sweetheart?" He asked as he positioned himself at Jungkook's entrance, the thick head of his dick pressing against the slick, fluttering opening.

Jungkook whimpered at the contact. “Need your cock,” The words tumbled out shamelessly. “Need your cock inside of me, claiming me, and your knot too. Please, alpha.” He begged, reaching forward to stroke him again.

The name seemed to snap something within Taehyung, and his composure withered. He lunged forward and captured his lips in a deep kiss. He spread Jungkook’s legs wider, tossing them over his hips and slotting himself between his thighs.

“I’m going in now.” Taehyung rubbed his tip through his puffy, wet folds. “Tell me if it hurts, baby.”

The alpha pushed forward, and the thick, blunt head of his cock pressed against the slick, fluttering opening of Jungkook's virgin pussy. There was resistance at first, the tight ring of muscle that had never been breached by anything larger than the omega's own slim fingers and a small toy, and Jungkook gasped at the pressure, his hands flying up to grip Taehyung's shoulders.

"Breathe, baby," Taehyung growled, his voice strained to the breaking point. Sweat beaded on his forehead, his jaw clenched tight with the effort of holding back. "Just breathe. Relax for me. Let me in."

Jungkook tried to obey, forcing his muscles to unclench, forcing air into his lungs. He could feel every inch of Taehyung's cock pressing against his most intimate place, demanding entrance, and the sheer size of it was terrifying. His omega instincts warred with his conscious mind, one part of him screaming yes, take it, take it all, the other part panicking at the thought of something so large entering his untouched body.

"Taehyung," he whimpered, his nails digging into the alpha's shoulders. "It's too big. I don't know if–"

"You can," Taehyung cut him off. "You will. Your body was made for this. Your pretty pussy opened up for me so easily, remember? It wants this. It wants to be filled. It wants to be stretched." He pressed a little harder, and Jungkook felt the head of his cock begin to breach the tight ring of muscle. "Feel that, baby? Feel how your body is making room for me?”

"Ah, it's so big—"

"I know," Taehyung breathed, his voice strained. He held himself still, letting Jungkook adjust. "I know it's big, sweetheart, but you're doing so well. So fucking well. Just breathe. Let your body get used to it." His thumb traced slow, soothing circles on Jungkook's hip, and gradually, the burn began to fade, replaced by a strange, aching fullness.

"It's inside me," Jungkook whispered, his voice awed. "Your cock is inside me."

"Just the tip," Taehyung reminded him, a hint of dark amusement in his voice. "There's still a lot more to go, baby. You think you can take it?"

Jungkook looked down at where they were joined, and there was so much left to take. His hole clenched involuntarily and released another rush of slick. The thought of taking all of it was terrifying, but the thought of stopping was worse. "Yes," he breathed. "I can take it. I want it all. Please, alpha. Give me your cock."

Taehyung let out a low groan. "Fuck, you're perfect," he growled. He began to push in further, inch by agonizing inch, his eyes fixed on Jungkook's face, watching for any sign of pain. "So tight, baby. So fucking tight. You're squeezing me so hard I can barely move."

Jungkook's mouth fell open in a silent scream as the thick length slid deeper, stretching him in ways he'd never imagined. The burn was back, but it was less pain and more pleasure. He could feel every ridge, every vein, every pulse of Taehyung's heartbeat inside him. It was overwhelming. It was perfect.

"Almost there," Taehyung panted, his hips pressing forward. "You're taking me so well, sweetheart. Just a little more." He gave one final push, and suddenly he was fully seated, his hips flush against Jungkook's ass, his balls pressed against the omega's slick skin.

Jungkook let out a broken sob, his entire body trembling. He felt impossibly full, stretched to his absolute limit, and yet somehow, it was the most incredible thing he'd ever experienced. "You're all the way in," he gasped, his voice high and breathless.

"I'm all the way in," The alpha confirmed. He stayed still for a long moment, letting Jungkook adjust, letting him feel the sheer size of what was inside him. His hands roamed over the omega's body, stroking his thighs, his stomach and his hips to soothe him. "You feel that, baby? Feel how deep I am? Feel how full you are?"

He clenched, trying to get used to the feeling, and sobbed at the sensation, “Y–Yes, alpha, I feel i–it.”

Taehyung began to move after a few moments of letting him adjust. He pulled out half way and Jungkook could feel every ridge and vein of him as he did so. "You're so beautiful," Taehyung murmured, his lips brushing Jungkook’s temple, his cheek, the corner of his mouth as he began to thrust. "So fucking beautiful when you're full of my cock. You know that?"

Each thrust was a lesson. Jungkook’s body, so new to this, was learning greedily. With each inward stroke, he could feel himself opening more, accepting more, the sweet spot inside him being nudged and stroked until pleasure began to coil tight in his belly again.

Taehyung's hips snapped against Jungkook's with a force that drove the omega up the bed, his large hands gripping the younger male's slender hips to hold him in place. Jungkook felt himself losing it with every thrust, his eyes going cross as he let himself get lost in the pleasure.

"I-I can't," Jungkook sobbed, "I'm g-going to-"

"You're going to what?" Taehyung prompted, his hips snapping forward in a particularly hard thrust, "You're going to cum again? Already? I haven't even started fucking you yet."

Taehyung's pace began to pick up, his slow worship giving way to what he truly wanted to do. He angled his hips in a certain way to hit Jungkook's sweet spot with each thrust.

The omega's legs came up and hooked around Taehyung’s back to pull him in deeper, “Please,” he gasped, unsure of what he was asking for, “Need more.” He hiccuped.

“Like this?" The alpha taunted as he pounded him further, "Or like this?" He asked, rolling his hips in a certain way.

"Yes," Jungkook sobbed, his head thrashing against the pillow. "Yes, alpha, yes! D–Don’t stop!”

"Wouldn’t dream of it," Taehyung promised, his thrusts becoming almost brutal in their intensity. "I'm not going to stop until you've come on my cock again. Until your sweet little pussy squeezes me dry. Until I knot you and fill you with my seed. Would you like that, baby? Would you like your alpha to breed your virgin pussy full of cum?"

Jungkook's answer was a broken wail as another wave of pleasure crashed over him. He was so close, embarrassingly close, his body wound so tight from the relentless stimulation that he could barely think. The head of Taehyung's cock was hitting that spot inside him on every thrust now, the spot that made his thighs tremble, and his pussy gushed fresh slick. His own omega cock was leaking steadily against his belly, untouched and aching.

"Your knot," Jungkook breathed, his eyes rolling back as another thrust rattled his core. "I w-want it, need it. Please, alpha."

“Cum for me, baby.” Taehyung reached between them and wrapped his large hand around Jungkook’s weeping cock. “Do it. Want to feel you make a mess around me.”

The command was all Jungkook needed. His second orgasm crashed over him with a force that dimmed his vision, his entire body convulsing. His inner walls fluttered and pulsed, milking the alpha's length, and the sensation was so overwhelming he thought he might pass out.

“That’s it, baby, let go for me,” Taehyung was growling above him, his thrusts becoming frantic as the omega beneath him squeezed him within an inch of his life. His knot had fully inflated now, and with one final, powerful thrust, he pushed it past the tight ring of Jungkook's entrance. They both groaned at the stretch, the sensation of being locked together

Jungkook felt it all, felt the otherworldly sensation of being filled with thick cum until it felt like it was a part of him. It was leaking out around the knot and down Jungkook’s thighs on the already destroyed bed.

Taehyung collapsed on top of him, his weight pressing him into the soaked, ruined sheets, his face buried in the omega's neck. His knot was still throbbing, still locked firmly inside Jungkook's pussy, still pumping small, residual spurts of seed into the omega's body. He could feel his lower belly swelling slightly with the sheer volume of it.

The room once filled with the lewd noises of their mating was replaced with their ragged breathing. They stayed locked together for what felt like hours, when really it was only fifteen minutes.

“Baby?” Taehyung breathed, “You still with me?”

Jungkook nodded weakly, his arms coming up to wrap around the alpha's sweat-slicked back. "Yeah," he breathed. "I'm here. I'm... I'm good."

“Good,” The alpha pressed a tender kiss to his scent gland. “Because I want you to remember this. When we go back to filming, you’ll have all the experience you need. The looks, the feel, all of it.”

Jungkook stared up at him, his chest still heaving, his body still trembling with the aftershocks of his orgasms. The thought of returning to set, of standing across from Taehyung with the cameras watching, knowing what the alpha felt like inside him. It was terrifying and thrilling in equal measure. "What if I can't separate it?" he whispered, his voice small. "Acting from... from this. From us."

Taehyung brushed his sweaty hair away from his forehead. "Then we don't separate it." He shifted slightly. "The audience doesn't know the difference, baby. They won't know if what they're seeing is technique or memory. They'll just know it's real. That the chemistry is real and the passion is real." He leaned down, capturing Jungkook's lips in a slow, deep kiss.

Jungkook savored Taehyung’s lips on his, “Okay, sunbaenim. I trust you.”

“Good,” He murmured. “Now, get some rest. You definitely need it.”

Jungkook buried his face in Taehyung's chest, too spent to speak, too overwhelmed to do anything but cling to the alpha who had just rearranged him from the inside out.

x

A week later, filming was back on. For once, Jungkook wasn’t nervous as he sat on the bed in his robe over his costume. His scent was calm, nerves non-existent, when two weeks ago the thought of filming such an intimate scene made him want to vomit.

He’d spent every night with Taehyung since, and the alpha had been patient and more than thorough. He'd taught Jungkook things the omega hadn't even known his body could do, positions that made him see stars, touches that turned him into a sobbing, incoherent mess. Beneath it all, he was attentive, listening to Jungkook’s body and never pushing too far.

Now here on set, his fears had vanished thanks to the older alpha’s touch. He wasn't afraid of the scene anymore because he understood it now. He understood the desperation, the surrender, the satisfaction of finally being claimed by the person you'd been aching for your entire life. It wasn’t a mystery to him anymore.

Taehyung and Jungkook acted as if everything were normal, not giving anyone on set any indication of what they had done these past few days. "Five minutes!" Director Choi’s voice cut through the chaos. "Final places, everyone. Intimacy team, clear the set of non-essentials. Jin-ssi, final check with in."

Jin walked over to Jungkook sitting on the bed, his arms crossed as he looked the omega up and down. "You look different," He observed with a small smile, “Relaxed.”

"I feel different," Jungkook admitted, and the honesty felt good. "I'm ready. I know what to do now."

Jin studied him for a moment longer, then nodded slowly. "Good. Remember the choreography, but don't be afraid to trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, we stop. If you need a break, we stop. Understood?"

"Understood."

Across the room, Taehyung walked onto the set, his own makeup and hair done. His professionalism was still there, his dark eyes still commanding the room. When his gaze found Jungkook across the crowded set, a softness filled them that was reserved for the omega alone.

It was barely a glance, a flicker of eye contact that lasted maybe two seconds, but in those two seconds, a whole conversation passed between them a silent exchange of the shared delicious memories. Jungkook felt his cheeks flush.

“Places!” Director Choi called, “Jungkook-ssi, we’re counting on you today.”

“Understood, director.” Jungkook nodded, handing off his robe to a staff member. He took his place, and so did Taehyung across from him. Their eyes met, and they had another silent conversation, seen to them alone.

“Scene fifty-eight, action!” Director Choi called, leaning back in his seat.

Jungkook took a breath, one that was scripted but also needed. They were picking it up right in the heat of the sex scene, and this time, he wasn’t going to run away. He began to cry on cue, letting tears run down his cheeks. “I need you to stop running,” He whispered. “Please, stay with me.”

Taehyung reached up and wiped his tears away. "I'm not going anywhere," he breathed, and pulled Jungkook into the kiss. The scene flowed without Jungkook’s fear stopping the scene. They tore each other’s clothing off as the script said, in between heated kisses, maybe one or two of them looking a little too real.

Jungkook's legs came up to bracket his hips, his ankles crossing at the small of the alpha's back. The linen shirt slid off his shoulder, baring skin to the camera, and Taehyung's mouth followed the line of his collarbone with reverent, open-mouthed kisses that made Jungkook's breath hitch.

"Cut!" Choi’s voice rang out, and the spell shattered.

For a moment, no one moved. Jungkook lay there on the mattress, his chest heaving, his body trembling with a mixture of arousal and satisfaction. Taehyung pulled back, his eyes dark with a hunger that was very real despite the professional setting. He helped Jungkook sit up, his hand lingering on the small of the omega's back.

“That was remarkable!” Director Choi approached them with one of his headphones pulled off his ears. "The way you looked at him! That was exactly what I've been trying to capture! That vulnerability, that desperate hope, that complete and total surrender! Where has that been for the last two weeks?"

Jungkook sat up slowly, pushing his messy hair out of his face. His heart was still pounding. "I guess I just... figured it out," he said, and he couldn't quite suppress the glance he flicked toward Taehyung.

The alpha caught it and smirked slightly. "You've been holding out on us, Jungkook," he mused as if he wasn’t the cause, but those dark eyes spoke the truth.

“Well, whatever you’ve been doing, it’s clearly working.” Director Choi nodded to the omega. “Let’s run it back one more time to clean things up.”

They ran the scene three more times, and each take was better than the last. Director Choi was practically dancing behind his monitor by the final cut, his earlier frustrations forgotten in the glow of creative satisfaction. The crew, who had been bracing themselves for a long, difficult day of intimacy coordination and technical challenges, exchanged looks of relieved surprise.

"That's a wrap on scene fifty-eight!" Choi finally announced, his voice ringing through the set. "Excellent work, everyone. Absolutely excellent. Jungkook-ssi, Taehyung-ssi, take the rest of the afternoon. You've earned it. We’ll reconvene at six am tomorrow."

The small crew, Jin included, applauded him for getting over the hurdle of the most difficult scene so far. Jungkook felt like he could move mountains with the amount of praise he was getting. When they took their breaks, he separated form the crew and sought after Taehyung.

The alpha was waiting for him near the water cooler. “Come with me,” He said, wrapping his hand around his wrist. “To my dressing room.”

Jungkook didn’t argue as he let himself be led to his private room. The door had barely clicked shut before Taehyung had him pressed against it, the alpha's body a solid wall of heat against him.

"You were incredible," Taehyung growled against his ear, his hands sliding under the loose white shirt to find bare skin. "Do you know how hard it was to keep my composure out there? Watching you cry, watching you beg, watching you surrender to me with those big, wet eyes? I nearly lost it in front of half the production crew."

Jungkook let out a breathless laugh, tilting his head back to rest against Taehyung's chest. "It was easy," he admitted. "After everything you've taught me. After everything we've done. I just... I just thought about you. About us. About the way you make me feel when we're alone. And it all just... flowed."

"Fuck," Taehyung breathed against his neck. "I've created a monster. A sexy, talented, completely irresistible monster." His hands tightened on Jungkook's hips, pulling him back against the hard ridge of his erection. "You know I have to have you now, right? You know I can't wait until we get back to the house?"

“Here?” Jungkook squeaked as he looked around the empty dressing room as if the entire crew would materialize before them and catch them in the act.

“We’re done for the day, you heard Choi,” Taehyung smirked. “They’ll never know.”

The fear of being caught should have been paralysing. Instead, it was exhilarating. For the first time, Jungkook didn't want to hide. He didn't want to suppress his scent or control his responses or pretend he was something other than an omega in love with his alpha.

“No bites,” Jungkook leaned up and pecked Taehyung’s lips. “I barely got the last ones covered with makeup this morning.” He huffed with a small smile.

Taehyung grinned wolfishly and scooped him up. “No promises, baby.” Jungkook squealed in delight as he was placed on the couch and attacked with a barrage of kisses.

A month later, ‘The Last Promise’ had its premiere, and it had been a dream. A red carpet was rolled out for them, photographers screaming Jungkook's name from behind velvet ropes, the flash of cameras so relentless it left spots dancing in his vision. He'd walked the carpet with Taehyung at his side, both of them dressed in black suits

During their interview, they’d been asked all sorts of questions about the experience filming with one another. They answered appropriately, never giving anyone anything to speculate that they were anything other than co-stars. Beneath it all, they knew the truth.

A week later, it was released to the public, which meant reviews were coming in hot every second. Jungkook sat cross-legged on Taehyung’s couch dressed in the alpha’s clothing. He had his phone clutched tight, his thumb scrolling obsessively through page after page of reviews, comments, and social media reactions. His leg bounced with nervous energy as he read, his eyes darting across the screen with increasing intensity.

Taehyung emerged from the kitchen carrying two glasses of wine. "You've been staring at that phone for an hour," he observed. "The premiere's over. The film is out. There's nothing you can do now."

Jungkook didn't look up. His thumb continued its relentless scroll. "I know," he mumbled, his voice tight. "I just... I need to see. I need to know what people are saying."

Taehyung sighed, setting the wine glasses on the coffee table before lowering himself onto the sofa beside Jungkook. He reached out and squeezed his knee gently. "What are they saying?" He asked, slightly curious himself now.

Jungkook was silent for a moment, then turned his phone slightly so Taehyung could see. “It’s crazy. I’ve been reading this review from critic Jieun for the past five minutes.” He whispered, slightly awed. The alpha leaned closer, his chin resting on Jungkook's shoulder as he peered at the phone. The screen displayed a review from one of Korea's most respected film critics.

"The chemistry between the two leads is nothing short of incredible. Taehyung delivers a masterful performance as the brooding alpha, but the revelation here is Jungkook, whose portrayal of a vulnerable omega marks the arrival of a formidable new talent. The intimate scenes are handled with a raw authenticity that will leave audiences breathless and..."

“Wow. I still remember her review of one of my first films years ago. Said I acted like a mannequin,” Taehyung smiled gently and rubbed Jungkook’s shoulder. “Do you know what this means, baby?”

"I know!" Jungkook's voice was high, almost hysterical. "That's why I can't stop reading it! I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, for someone to say I was terrible, that I ruined the film, that I should go back to being an idol or–"

Taehyung took the phone from his hands, setting it face-down on the coffee table. "Hey," he said, his voice firm and gentle. "Look at me."

Jungkook reluctantly turned, his wide, anxious eyes meeting Taehyung's steady gaze. The alpha's face was calm, confident, completely unbothered by the media frenzy swirling around them. "You were not terrible. You were not a liability. You were extraordinary, and everyone can see it."

"But what if they're just being nice?" Jungkook whispered, "What if the next review is different? What if the audience hates it? What if…?"

"Stop." Taehyung's hands came up to cup Jungkook's face, his thumbs brushing over the omega's flushed cheekbones. "You're going to make yourself sick with all these worries, baby."

Jungkook's breath hitched, the pet name sending a familiar shiver down his spine even through the haze of his panic. "I can't help it," he admitted. "This is my first real acting role. My first movie. If it bombs, my career is over."

“Believe me, baby, it won’t.” He pressed a kiss to his slightly flushed forehead. “I’ve been in this industry long enough to know if a movie hits or misses. Trust me, you just knocked it out of the park.”

Jungkook closed his eyes, letting the warmth of the alpha's scent wash over him. "I do trust you," he whispered.

"Good," Taehyung said, pulling back just enough to look into the omega's eyes. "No more reviews tonight. I want to celebrate properly." His hands slid down to Jungkook's hips, pulling the omega onto his lap in one smooth, practiced motion. "And I have a much better way to spend the evening than watching you stress-read film criticism."

Jungkook's breath hitched as he felt the alpha's growing erection pressed against his thigh. His own body responded immediately, heat pooling low in his belly, fresh slick beginning to gather between his thighs. "What did you have in mind?"

“Us in my bed, or maybe here on the couch,” He murmured, pressing a soft kiss to Jungkook’s neck. “Leaving marks on you since both our schedules are cleared for the next two weeks.”

The omega felt himself purring, “Yes, please.”

Taehyung adjusted his grip and picked up Jungkook. "Come to bed, baby," he said softly. "Let me show you how proud I am of you."

Jungkook let himself be whisked away by the man of his dreams. The phone remained abandoned on the table, the internet continuing to do its job of gossip and speculation. That could all wait until tomorrow.

They had something far more important to celebrate.
