Work Text:
Agent walks along the hallways, patrolling the hospital. It was a relatively quiet night, thankfully. He unholsters his gun as he walks, ejecting the magazine and checking the bullets. Only one was gone. Secretary was focused tonight, it seems. He wonders what kind of caffeine concoction they had made to keep their sanity besides just the coffee machine.
Reinserting the magazine, Agent moves to reholster his gun. By the time he notices the patient room door to his right slowly opening, it’s too late. Lightning quick, a hand grabs his wrist, yanking him into the room. The grip on his wrist is tight, and Agent’s grip on his gun loosens, before it clatters onto the floor. He opens his mouth to yell, but a paw quickly covers it. He’s pressed against the door, a warm body covering him. He growls, then bites the paw covering his mouth, hard.
He’s immediately let go of, a sharp “Ow!” coming from the animal behind him. Agent whirls around and is faced with… Intern. Anger flares in his chest.
“You idiot!” He hisses. “What would you have done if I shot you? If the others found out?”
Their ears droop. Green tinted blood stains the fur on their paw. “Hide in here until the wound heals and pray no one comes in?”
Agent sighs, tail flicking in annoyance. “What did you even drag me in here for?”
Intern’s ears perk back up, and they take a step closer. “We haven’t really had the chance to be alone together in a while, y’know?”
They step forward again. Agent takes a small step back.
“It’s been so busy lately, not to mention Doctor Harlow is down my neck about tests.”
Agent’s breath stutters as Intern approaches him further. He backs up again, jumping when he hits the door behind him. Intern crowds into his space, placing a paw on either side of his head. Agent whimpers when they lean forward and press their face into his neck, inhaling his scent.
“I missed you.” They murmur.
“The others are still here.” Agent whispers.
Intern pulls away, and their smile grows wider. Agent shivers when their sharp teeth poke past their lips. “They don’t need to know. It’s not busy, they won’t miss us for a bit. Plus, you can be quiet.”
Agent exhales shakily. “This is a bad idea.” He murmurs. Even saying that, he feels his tail wrap around Intern’s leg.
Intern leans closer, their breath fanning over Agent’s muzzle. “No one’s gonna catch us, c’mon, indulge me a bit here. When are we gonna get the chance again?”
Agent’s heart pounds in his chest. Intern is so close. They had a point, it has been a while since they had a moment to themselves. He swivels his ears, listening for footsteps, but only hears the sound of their breathing.
“Fine.”
He barely finishes the word before Intern is shoving their lips together. Agent moans quietly into their mouth, wrapping his arms around their neck. Their sharp teeth bite at his bottom lip, until he opens his mouth. Their tongue pushes in, sliding against his own.
Their tongue is long, wet, and so slimy compared to his. Their saliva was slightly sour too. Agent tried not to think of the properties of anomaly spit when Intern’s tongue was in his mouth.
Agent’s breath hitches when Intern slides their tongue deeper, licking along his molars. They run their hands along his body, rubbing his chest, gripping his hips, until Agent groans against them. Intern slots a leg between his thighs, grinding it against his pelvis. Agent can’t stop his own hips from twitching against Intern’s thigh, gasping.
Intern takes advantage of his wider mouth to work their tongue down further, licking into his throat. Agent gags around their tongue, whimpering. One of his hands slides up, claws digging into Intern’s scalp before wrapping around the base of one of their ears. They moan, ears twitching.
Intern drags their hands back up his body, reaching his vest, and unbutton it. They untuck his button up from his slacks, and slide their hand under, petting the fur of his belly. Agent jerks on another gag as their tongue fills his throat. He’s struggling to breathe now, eyes rolling back in his head.
Agent lets out a choked whine, feeling himself grow damp in his boxers, slick wetting the fabric. Intern presses their bodies closer, and Agent feels their hardness against his thigh.
Intern moves their tongue again, and Agent gags harder. His stomach lurches this time, body jerking. He feels himself start to panic when he can’t stop another gag, retching quietly. He scrabbles to grab at Intern’s ears, trying to pull them back. He needed them to get their stupid tongue out of his throat or he was going to-
To his horror, on his next gag he feels acid rise in his throat. Intern finally seems to get the hint, pulling their tongue back and pulling away. The feeling of their tongue sliding out of his throat causes another retch, vomit filling his mouth..
They lean back just as Agent heaves, the mouthful of vomit spilling down Intern’s front. He can’t stop another wet retch, more bile spraying from his lips. Intern gasps, and holds him up.
“Oh my god. Are you okay?”
Agent gags weakly, spit dripping from his open mouth.
“Shit, Agent I’m so sorry, I didn’t realize I was taking it that far-” Intern quickly helps him to the hospital bed, sitting him down gently. “Fuck, are you okay?”
Agent swallows the pooled saliva in his mouth, wincing at the taste of acid. “You’re an idiot.” He hisses. To his horror, he feels tears starting to well up in his eyes. He quickly presses the heels of his hands against them.
He can feel Intern’s hands hovering around him. “Fuck, Agent,” They whisper. They kneel in front of him, slotting between their legs. They gently pull his hands away from his face. “Hey. Do you feel okay? Do you think you’re gonna get sick again?”
Agent’s ears are drooped, tail limp behind him on the bed. He can’t believe he just did that.
“N-No. I’m fine.” His voice is rough. His chin is wet from saliva and bile.
“I-I’m-” He chokes out, tears starting to drip from his eyes. “I’m sorry.”
Intern grabs his face gently, tilting it down at them. “You don’t need to be sorry, Agent. I’m the one that’s sorry. I didn’t mean to be that rough on you.”
“I threw up in your mouth!” Agent hisses.
“It was my fault you did!” Intern argues back. They let go of his face to stand. “Here, let me go get you something to clean up.”
Before they can walk away, Agent grabs their wrist. “You’re covered in vomit! You can’t go out like that!”
They look down at their sweatshirt. “Oh.”
Agent covers his face with his hands again. “God this is so humiliating.”
“It’s fine! I’ll just take it off!”
“They’re going to notice that you’re not wearing the sweatshirt you always wear.”
Intern waves him off. “Nah, it’ll be fine!” They take off the hoodie, tossing it onto the floor. Under their sweatshirt was a simple graphic tee. “Just hold on, I’ll be right back.”
With that, they leave the room. Agent looks down at himself, relieved he didn’t get any vomit on his own clothes. He quickly tucks his shirt back in, buttoning his vest. The door opens, and Intern walks back inside, shutting the door behind them.
“Here, I got you some water and wet wipes to clean up.” They walk towards him, uncapping the bottled water and handing it over. Agent grabs it and takes a large drink, trying to wash out the acrid taste of acid. Intern sits next to them on the bed, the mattress dipping under their weight.
Once Agent lowers the bottle, Intern gently grabs his chin, turning his face towards them. They have a wet wipe in their hand, and they start to wipe down the fur on his chin.
“I’m sorry,” They murmur. “I should have realized you pulling on my ears meant to stop.”
“It’s fine.” Agent says. He feels his face start to warm. “I… didn’t hate it.”
“W-What?”
“I liked it.” Agent looks away, flustered. “I mean, vomiting wasn’t… ideal. But… I liked it.”
Intern huffs a shocked laugh. “Wow. Okay. Then we can do it again! If-If you'd like.”
“I would.” Agent murmured. Intern stands, tossing the wet wipe in the trash and reaching a hand to Agent.
“We should probably head back before someone really notices we’re gone.”
Agent grabs their hand, letting them pull him up. They both walk to the door, Intern opening it slightly and peering around. They open the door wider and gesture for Agent to follow. He grabs his gun from the floor where he dropped it, quickly reholstering it.
Agent breathes a sigh of relief when he enters the hallway and sees no one is around.
“I could really use some coffee.” Intern says, walking back towards the office. “Wanna share some with me?”
“I wouldn’t mind.”
They walk towards the office together. When they enter, Secretary is already turned to face them, their cloven hand tapping against the counter. They look irritated. Agent has to focus to stop his ears from folding back in shame.
“Where have you two been?”
“Patrolling the halls together!” Intern says smoothly, walking towards the coffee machine. To their delight, it's full enough for two cups.
“Right. So that’s why I saw you two sneaking out of room three on the cameras?”
Intern freezes. Agent freezes.
“Also, where is your jacket? I almost didn’t think you had arms under that thing.” Secretary’s eyes narrow. “Do I want to know what you two were doing in there?”
“I-I have no idea what you’re talking about-” Intern stutters.
“None of your business.” Agent mutters, shooting Secretary a glare. His cheeks were warm under his fur.
Secretary opens their mouth to continue, but startles when the bell on their check-in window dings. They immediately swivel in their chair to check in the patient waiting. Intern takes the opportunity to pour their coffees and abscond, gesturing for Agent to follow. Didn’t have to tell him twice.
As they left, and the patient following behind them to their room, they hear Secretary yell, “Don’t think you’ve gotten away with this!”
Intern stifles a giggle, and ducks away into the supply shop. Agent follows closely behind. They lean against the wall, handing Agent his mug. He holds it under his nose, inhaling the rich scent of black coffee.
“I told you they would notice.” He says, taking a sip.
“Haha… sorry. I just… couldn’t resist. You’re too pretty.”
Agent feels himself flush. “Flatterer. Next time we’re waiting until you can come to my apartment.”
Intern lowers their mug from their mouth. “Are you busy after work?”
Agent peers at them over his own mug. “Not today.”
Intern’s eerie smile grows wider. Agent can see a hint of their teeth. He flushes further. “Then it seems like we have plans.”
Agent’s tail twitches and curls in the air. He tries to hide a smile behind his coffee.
“That we do.”
