1987 - Outings of Pentagram City
The night in pentagram city was peaceful as it could ever be, screams at the distance and wrecks pleading for a salvation that will never come. But apart from the never ending suffering, it was quiet and calm that day.
Alastor was in his cabin, by the far ends of the noisy city, tidying everything up for his beloved, his charming, funny and adorable picture box.
Alastor was excited, pretty much so, it was going to be a romantic night, one he has been planning for months now, him and Vincent, being together, part of each other, finally merging into one another, just as soulmates are supposed to do. No matter how many times they go through this ritual, it is just as sweet, if not sweeter, than the first time.
It was just a matter of time before his love arrived, the clock ticked, one, two, three…
Every second without Vox was torture, 7:45pm. Then 7:56pm; the hour expected was 8:00 pm.
How much longer was this going to take? Minutes passed but seconds ever lasted, torture at it's finest.
Until that awaited knock on the door that resounded so beautifully in contrast with the dead silence that for a moment took over the space.
“Alastor! My dear friend, may I come in?". The staticky voice was everything to make Alastor lose his mind, what has he said? Doesn't matter, just the sound of his lovely voice is enough to make him swoon, but absentmindedly let him in.
After a few minutes, supper time arrives, dinner is served, some wrecked sinner that dared to make inappropriate comments about his darling, but Vincent didn’t have to know that, not when Alastor knows how disgusting his darling think it is, but doesn't matter because Vincent is gleaming by the taste, blissfully unaware of the meat’s origin.
“This is so good, Al! What is this?” Vincent asked with those pretty big eyes that shined like rubies through his newer model screen.
“It's pigs meat, my dear Vox, filthy creatures that only serve the purpose of feeding”. Alastor’s smile was wide, joyful to see his love being this pleased by his cooking skills and not minding too much in Alastor’s response.
The plates were now empty and cleaned, and Alastor companies Vox to the living room where whiskey glasses were constantly being refilled, and music filled the space.
After some empty bottles and spinning around to Glenn Miller, the two demons took a seat in the couch to rest their now sore legs, it didn’t affect Alastor as much, since he always danced for nights on end, but dear Vox was not so much of a dancer, as his constant stepping over made quite clear.
Vincent had drunk way too much, barely keeping his eyes open, but Alastor wasn't that much, after all, most sedatives did not work so well on him anymore.
Alcohol and eagerness takes over Alastor's fuzzy mind, there are desires that are meant to be kept to yourself, but who cares? Right now he could take it, be the chosen one with his dear.
They both approached each other, tension filling the air, static growing heavy, with nervousness but also anticipation. One seemed to not know how to start, the other already tasting the awaited moment. Music came to an end, knowing to give both lovers time to delight in this beautiful moment.
His darling is so close, heat between the two, not a thousand words could explain the tension, the so complicated feelings and things that are not explainable.
The gap closes, the union begins.
Alastor feels it the moment it starts, the sense of belonging, that awaited moment in which both souls will find themselves intertwined so deeply on each other that distinction of one another is senseless and pointless. The taste of the other is overwhelming, nothing has ever been this exquisite, the finest buffet could not compare to this taste.
The demon is tense under Alastor, panting heavily, eyes wide, must be the excitement, so eager, so cute, so perfect.
“Shh… It’s alright dear, soon we will be together” Alastor whispered, softly in where his dear Vox ear would be.
Choked sounds get out of his lover's mouth, intelligible ones to Alastor’s ear, Vincent must be eager to start, sweet tears rolling down his screen, happiness to be part of the other.
A sweet, fresh breeze entered through a barely open window , letting both of the lovers at ease with themselves, or was it the melody of his lover to be delightful enough to drown out everything else?
Either way, that didn't matter, this moment, every precious second was ecstasy, heaven could go away, it didn't matter anymore.
Alastor was no stranger to hunger, the want, the thrill, the hunt. Oh so beautiful to chase that spark relentlessly; Alastor was always hungry, starving, and he finally got to his filling, or feeling of it.
Vox, Vincent, adorable demon, wicked soul, would not stutter in taking away other's lives, destinies, so powerful, yet so tiny, with his fragile body, but cunning spirit. Alastor's lover, meaning of life, objective of all of his worship and care, was now struggling, or attempting to, always so reluctant at first, it'll be over, he will behave.
Alastor was never a religious man, he believed in divine judgement, he thrived on it, bargained a deal to get his way up there, not second guessing any decision yet to make it there. But now, he was a worshipper, a pathetic soul kneeling after his God, his life, the only person able to satisfy the endless hunger.
Second after second of being intertwined, sweet flavor filled his mouth, exquisite, Vincent was shaking and covered in sweat, probably feeling the same excitement as him, how precious.
Alastor was whole, as if the lacking piece of his heart was remade and carefully stitched back, tasting his God, as the filthy dinner he was, this was a blessing, greater than whatever heaven could ever offer.
After a while, his lover went still, and couldn't take the sinful doors of heaven after all. Tragic, indeed.
The more Alastor consumed, the more his dear became unrecognizable, but every taste was even sweeter … how to stop? Hunger grew heavier each second, it didn't matter how much Alastor ate, there was always the need for more.
All good things must come to an end, and right now there was only a mess, a precious crimson mess, one that smelled faintly of copper and fading whiskey. No matter how many times this scenery took over the home, it was more beautiful than the last time. Alastor was never going to tire out of it. Vincent’s insides are now well conserved for a special occasion such as Vincent's next birthday! He always loves the heart stew! Oh, if only he had eyeballs, Alastor was sure Vincent would love them, even if he’s normally reluctant at first.
Alastor’s darling Vox will respawn on his bed at the V tower in one of the next few days, Alastor must already have his remedy for the headache, hmph, seems like he ran out of lethe’s water, maybe an imp will do the favor of bringing it from the Envy ring.
Alastor proceeded to install the new TV model in his living room, the previous one being carefully stored along with the others, from black and white, to color, from wood to plastic.
Maybe in a week Vox and him could go out somewhere, Alastor recalled his darling wanted to speak about something important apparently.
Alastor could not wait.
