Work Text:
Trudy took in the sights and sounds of Italy, somehow finding it eerily similar yet vastly different from her life in New York. The aftermath of her swim across the channel had turned her into an overnight sensation, everyone suddenly knowing her name and wanting to meet her. It was overwhelming to say the least, to go from the slow and sick girl to the best female swimmer in the world was quite the dizzying reality. And it wasn't long after until she was being asked to do interviews, visit countries, go to events, did she finally decide to let Eppy set up a bit of a celebration tour for them to embark on. The last thing she expected was for those stops to be halfway across the world in Europe.
England and France were relatively easy, being familiar with them before and after her feat, but Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Belgium were places she could never imagine visiting in her wildest dreams. Every city flocks of crowds would gather to greet her, little girls nearly crying when she'd meet them, and their mothers with their own set of misty eyes. And now after weeks of traveling, she's finally reached her last stop in Italy.
She was surprised when Eppy said they were invited to some fancy gala, the two of them giggling as they tried on dresses at a local boutique. The shop owner was a fan, giving her a generous discount and a promise to take a photo so she could happily display it for all to see. She never thought of herself as a celebrity, the feeling exciting as much as it is daunting, but to see the smiles on women's and girls' faces made it all worth it.
The gala was at some historical site, at least a hundred diplomats, philanthropists, and general rich people milling about. Trudy tried not to be uncomfortable in her skintight pale pink gown, the neckline plunging and back nonexistent as it showed the large expanse of her lean muscles from years of swimming. She'd been self-conscious about it, but Eppy had assured her it was "badass" and made her get the dress. She regrets listening to her, as she's now trying to keep her back as close to the wall as to not scandalize herself any further.
"Don't be frightened." a deep accented voice says from next to her, taking her out of her stupor. She twists her neck to look up at the man, and...wow.
He's incredibly handsome, albeit a lot older than her. His suit is exquisitely cut, three pieces made of a dark charcoal much like the ones she'd scoop in the boiler growing up. Somehow he makes the color look beautiful against his tanned skin, no doubt from years in the Italian sun. He's been looking out in the crowd, but finally turns his head to make eye contact with her, a small smirk on his lips.
"Who says I'm frightened?" she says, managing to find her voice.
"You've been hiding in this corner while at least a dozen people are waiting for you to emerge so they can speak with you." he smirks, motioning with his chin at the few small gatherings of people looking in their direction and whispering. "I can assure you that we Italians are very nice people."
"I suppose I'll have to take your word for it." she smiles, turning back to face the crowd of partygoers. "I'm not very good with people. Talking, I mean."
He chuckles softly. "You seem to be doing a good enough job."
She rolls her eyes playfully with a smirk. "Perhaps because this is one of the few normal conversations I've had in awhile."
He nods minutely at that, taking a sip from the amber liquid in his glass. "This is your new normal. I'd say embrace it and make the most of its opportunities."
"Easier said than done, Mr...." she pauses to allow him to finish his own name. He takes the moment to turn and face her fully, his large body blocking the prying eyes behind him. He sticks out a large hand adorned with a single pinky ring that looks big enough to fit over her thumb.
"Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari." he murmurs, a small smile on his lips.
She hasn't obtained the art of keeping it cool it would seem, her lips parting in surprise as her hand dumbfoundedly makes its way to hers. Enzo Ferrari the sports car mogul? Her brother and father speak nonstop about the latest cars and races, always saying that the Ferrari racers are their favorite. One day a sleek black convertible drove past the butcher shop and she swears they didn't stop speaking about it for weeks. If only they could see her now...
"It's nice to meet you, Mr. Ferrari." she says softly, managing to find her voice.
"Trust me, Miss Ederle." he begins, the sound of her name with his soft accent like nothing she's ever heard before. "The pleasure is all mine."
They share a silent moment together, their hands lingering in each others for a moment too long. Before Trudy has the nerve to say anything else, Eppy comes dashing in and breaks the spell between them.
"There you are, kid!" Eppy exclaims. "Someone over there is dying to meet you, some fancy-shmancy diplomat or something." She finally notices the large imposing man next to them, her eyes following the length of him up and up and up until she meets his face. "Oh, I'm sorry to interrupt--"
Enzo puts his hand up politely. "That's quite alright. I'll take my leave." He turns back to Trudy, taking her hand once again and placing a delicate kiss on her knuckles. "It was an honor to make your acquaintance, Miss Ederle. I hope you enjoy your time in Italy." And with that, he strides away, leaving an aura of sophistication in his wake.
"Is that who I think it was?" Eppy muttered in surprise, looping their arms together and heading through the crowd. People parted for them like the Red Sea, dozens of pairs of eyes watching her and whispering voices muttering her name.
"Apparently. He's so..."
"Hot for an old guy?" Eppy finishes, the two of them bursting into a fit of giggles. It's not what she would've said but its damn near what she thought. And if she didn't know any better, she'd think she feels his eyes on her from across the room.

Trudy’s never been hungover before, there was that one glass of champagne at Margaret’s wedding and a shot of rum Benji had given her the night after her channel swim. But at the gala yesterday, she had been handed several drinks from people she couldn’t find the heart to say no to, hence her headache.
A headache that is not made much better from Epps bursting through her door.
”Holy crap, kid! Look at these flowers that just came for you!”
Trudy groans, crawling out of bed and wrapping a soft hotel robe atop her nightgown as she walks to the living room of their suite. On the dining table is the largest arrangement of roses, ranunculus, snapdragons and hydrangeas in the most gorgeous assortment of colors. She’s breathless as she plucks the small card from the bouquet, the neat scrawl of ink nearly making her jaw drop.
It was a pleasure to meet you yesterday. I would love the opportunity to take you to dinner while you’re still here in Italy. - E.F.
”Is that—?” Eppy exclaims, reading over her shoulder. Trudy quickly snatches the card away from her prying eyes, a warm blush on her cheeks.
”I’m sure he’s just being nice.” She mumbles, shaking her head.
”Yeah, and I’m the queen of England.” Eppy retorts with a chuckle. “Look Trudy: you’re young, pretty, and just did something no other woman has ever achieved. A guy like him probably has no problem meeting women, and you’re one of the women he wants to know. You’ve spent your whole life living for others, it’s time to put your wants first. So be honest, do you want to go to dinner with him or what?”
It didn’t take her long at all before she’s nodding her head.
-
Gosh, he’s even more handsome than she remembers. He’s in another similarly colored grey suit, his hair slicked back and his features neutral. A blacked out car had picked her up from the hotel two days after she received the flowers, her tea-length dress a soft blue color made out of the softest silk. She’s styled her cropped hair and even opted for a little rouge, her heart beating like a hummingbird the entire drive to the restaurant.
What was she doing going on a date (at least she presumes it's a date) with a man so much older than her? Her father would have her head if he knew, but then again she recalls Eppy’s words and pushes those thoughts aside. All throughout her life she’s been the wallflower that didn’t garner any attention from boys, so this is even more nerve wracking when she thinks about a man with so much more experience.
He’s waiting at the curb for her with his hands behind his back, like a marble statue. He doesn’t wait for the driver to open her door, doing so himself and immediately meeting her eyes.
”Miss Ederle.” He breathes, looking her over as she steps out of the car. She’s never felt so dainty with her hand in his much larger one.
“Please, Mr. Ferrari, call me Trudy.” She smiles, voice soft as she gathers her bearings. He gives her a small smile, a dimple forming on his weathered skin.
”Trudy.” He says, like he’s tasting the name on his tongue. “Then you must call me Enzo.”
She nods in confirmation, the two of them sharing a smile like a pair of old friends. Taking his offered arm, they walk in tandem to the restaurant.

The meal was nothing short of lovely, full of delicious food and stimulating conversation. As quiet and reserved as Enzo seemed, he was actually quite funny; his dry sense of humor making Trudy snort out a few undignified laughs. His smile was warm in return, like he was proud to garner that reaction from her. All the while he was pensive and thoughtful as she spoke, his eyes never leaving hers as she spoke about growing up in New York and life leading up to the channel. She should cower under his intense gaze, but if anything it was an odd sort of comfort to have someone’s undivided attention for any reason other than swimming.
”Do you have other cities you plan on visiting?” Enzo asks, dabbing his mouth with the cloth napkin as the waiter clears their plates.
She shrugs. “Not sure. I’ve come to the end of my official tour, so it’s up to Eppy and I if there’s anywhere else we’d like to see before heading back to New York.”
A small frown appears on his lips, his brow furrowing as if to search for the right words. “I hope you don’t find this presumptuous, Trudy. I would like to invite you to my summer home on Lake Como; it’s the finest body of water in Italy and I think you could do with some much needed relaxation after all your travels.”
Lake Como? She’d only ever heard of that place in movies and the travel book she read on the train ride into Italy. “That’s very generous of you, Enzo. I wouldn’t want to intrude—“
He waves his hand. “Nonsense. I insist, a few days there would do wonders. Your companion—Eppy, is it—would be welcome as well. I leave in two days and will be staying for the week. You’d have your own room, practically your own wing of the estate…”
”Why?” She can’t help but think aloud. It stops him in his tracks, his eyes darting to her as his face softens. “Not that I’m not grateful for the invitation…but you hardly know me?”
He chuckles at that, refilling their wine glasses from the bottle at the corner of the table. “It’s for that very reason, Trudy. I find myself reluctant to see you leave without getting to know you more. You are…” he pauses to lightly trace his lower lip with his fingers “…a remarkable woman.”
Trudy tries not to let her mouth hang open at his boldness. Maybe Eppy was right…
”I’d love to.” She declares, refusing to let herself overthink. She doesn’t mind that he’s perhaps a decade (or two) older than her, or that she barely knows him outside of their brief interactions, but there’s something in the way he looks at her that makes her want to dig deeper. Trudy isn’t used to male attention, and to have this handsome, educated, confident man wanting to spend more time with her? She’d regret not seeing where this may or may not go.
His smile is warm, the crescent dimples framing his mouth making her smile in return. “Then it's settled.” He chuckles, lifting his wine glass to clink against hers, the two taking sips of their drink while their eyes never leave each other.
-
Trudy thrusts herself from the crisp water with a gasp and flip of her head. She doesn’t remember the last time she swam for pleasure, but the pool at Enzo’s lakeside estate was probably one of the nicest. She’s been here for a few days and it’s still just as surreal from when the car drove up the gravel driveway. Trudy had spent the first day on a tour with the groundskeeper who spoke very little English before being shown to her room by one of the head maids.
She’d never been in anything so grand: four pillar bed with wispy curtains and down feather blankets of the most beautiful brocade. The balcony had the most incredible view of the lake and surrounding mountains, even the bathroom had been a construction of beauty. She couldn’t help but be in awe, babbling her excitement to Enzo when he had invited her for dinner in the main dining room. He had just smiled and told her he was glad she was enjoying herself; she was open to any part of the estate, including the large pool, tennis court and rose garden that led to a private entrance of the beach edging the lake.
Trudy climbs out of the pool and fetches the towel left on one of the lounge chairs for her, turning her back as she becomes conscious of a pair of dark eyes watching her from the terrace. She’d be a fool not to notice Enzo’s fondness of her, admitting as much to Eppy when she’d gotten home from dinner that night.
”Oh gosh, Trudy! You definitely have to go with him! And don’t worry about little ole me, I was planning to take some time to tour the city sites anyway. You go on and have fun without me.” She smirked with a wink, leaving Trudy to blush.
That’s how she found herself alone with Enzo Ferrari in his lavish lakeside estate, a growing sort of tension building between them. She can’t deny that she finds him attractive, and if she was a betting woman she might have some sort of inkling that he finds her attractive too. Something seems to be holding him back from doing anything about it, Enzo remaining a perfect gentleman and not making any advances towards her. She finds it endearing compared to the rowdy boys back in New York, always trying to start trouble and fumble their way into a woman’s bed. Trudy had never been the subject of anyone’s affections between her illness, her social skills, and her swimming, so she finds Enzo’s attention heady in a way she’s never known before.
It makes her…curious.
Trudy usually dries herself with a towel in the most perfunctory way, but with his eyes on her she makes it a bit of a show. Slowly swiping the fabric across her arms, her toned stomach, her chest. She takes care in bending over slightly to dry her legs, a cleared throat faint in the distance. She can’t help but smile to herself, schooling her features before turning around and meeting Enzo’s eyes.
”Enzo!” She greets with a toothy smile and a wave. His sunglasses don’t give much away, but he smiles and lifts a hand back. “Don’t suppose I can convince you to join me for a swim?”
He chuckles from the terrace. “Forgive me, I’ve never been much of a swimmer. Spent more time on land racing like you do in the water.”
”I guess that doesn’t make us too different.” She smiles, swiping the towel down her body. She doesn’t miss the way his eyes track her movement even behind the dark sunglasses. Huh…now that’s interesting. “How fast do those cars get anyway?”
“Not as fast as you are in the water.” he jokes, a smirk on his lips as she giggles. “I don’t suppose I could convince you to do a test drive with me?”
She should be hesitant with the speed and all the scary stories she hears about racing accidents, but she knows somewhere deep down that if there’s anywhere she’d feel more safe it would be with him. And she’s already in the spirit of saying yes to things that make her equal parts nervous and excited, so she strolls up to him with as much confidence as she can muster.
“Show me what you got.”
-
Her laughter is a mix of excitement and fear as Enzo whips the small sports car through the winding roads of the Italian countryside, the wind blowing in their hair and his face a mix of concentration on the road and amusement at her reactions. Every time she squeals in delighted terror he revs up the engine or takes a sharper turn, as if savoring the noises he was probably not used to hearing in the passenger seat of one of his prized cars.
When he eventually slows to allow her time to enjoy the view she finds herself admiring his prominent side profile, the slope of his nose and the fullness of his lips. Even his hands were a bit of a anomaly, the way he gripped the steering wheel in one and the gear shift in the other made her secretly wish it was an automatic so he could place a free hand on her thigh—
“Trudy?” his deep voice takes her out of her trance, snapping her eyes up to his slightly concerned ones. She didn’t realize that they’d stopped in front of a view point of the mountains.
“Sorry, could you repeat that?” she says breathlessly, her cheeks going hot at the possibility that he’d caught her staring. If he noticed, he’s kind enough not to acknowledge it.
“I…” he begins, clearing his throat. “Could I ask you to join me on the lake tonight? I was hoping to take the boat out to show you the sunset.”
Her breath catches slightly, it sounds incredibly romantic even if he’s never given her any inclination. She’d be a fool to refuse, especially since she’s curious if he’s even going to make a move. Maybe…
“That sounds wonderful, thank you.” She beams up at him, a genuine smile reaching his own face in return.
-
She tries to tamper any feeling of self consciousness as she walks out onto the dock in a red flowy dress, her short hair blowing gently in the breeze. Enzo, although still in a suit, seems more relaxed, no tie and the first few buttons of his shirt undone. He’s removed his sunglasses, letting Trudy admire the gentle creases around his kind eyes as he takes her in. She’s never felt like an object of desire, but in his eyes she feels like the prettiest woman in the world.
Taking her hand, he presses a kiss to her knuckles before escorting her onto nothing short of a small yacht. There’s a small crew taking them to a beautifully made table, two glasses of wine and two plates of pasta appearing before them almost as soon as they sit down. They eat and chat comfortably, the boat rocking gently as Enzo points out interesting parts of the coastline. She laughs (accidentally snorts a time or two, only making Enzo smile), and even gets a genuine laugh out of him when she tells him about swimming around the Coney Island pier for free hotdogs.
When their plates are cleared, he takes her arm and escorts her down to the bow of the ship facing the setting sun. The conversation between them reaches a comfortable silence, Trudy resting her head against Enzo’s side as they stare out into the water.
“Trudy…” he mutters quietly, causing her to turn up to look at him. He’s already looking down at her, his amber eyes warm and inviting. “Forgive me for being so bold, but…may I kiss you?”
She inhales softly, looking up at him with a gentle smile. “I’ve never been kissed before.”
His mouth parts slightly in surprise. “I’m sorry, I did not mean to—"
”Enzo…” she cuts him off quietly, turning to face him more as she places her hand on his chest. “I’m telling you because I want you to be my first.”
“Merda…” he breathes, closing his eyes for a moment. “Trudy, an old man like me…I shouldn’t—”
”But I want you to.” She urges, turning to face him as her smile grows at his sweet hesitance. “I’ve never wanted to be kissed…or anything else, until now…until you…”
He lets out a shaky sigh, turning to face her and cupping her jaw with his hand. He almost seems more nervous than she is, slowly lowering down to meet her lips as if giving her a chance to change her mind. When she can’t wait any longer, she reaches up on her toes and closes the distance, their lips meeting in a gentle warm press. Her eyes flutter closed as she sighs into the kiss, Enzo’s lips respectfully teasing hers with tiny nips and pecks.
“Good?” He breathes, pulling just far apart to ask. She nods, her eyes still closed as she surges for another, suddenly addicted with exploring all kissing has to offer. Enzo’s arms wrap more firmly around her waist as he tilts his head, the new angle causing her to gasp slightly. He takes the lead and gently teases his tongue into her mouth, Trudy quickly following his movements until the kiss evolves deeper. It’s only when her body lets out the softest whine does he finally pull away, the two of them catching their breaths against each other's cheeks.
”Oh.” She whispers, pulling her head back slightly to meet his eyes. He seems just as affected, his eyes searching her face for any sign of discomfort or disdain. Trudy can’t help but widen her smile, chuckling to herself at just how the large bravado of one of the most famous men in Europe could be reduced by just a bit of kissing.
“Trudy…you’re too generous to me. I’m no young stallion…but if you allowed me…I could be so good to you. I know I have no right to ask, you deserve a nice young man that could keep up with you—”
”I don’t want that.” She pipes up, her bluntness on evident display. “I don’t like you berating yourself like this. I know who you are, and your age doesn’t matter to me. I’ve never…I told you I’m not good with people. I’ve always been too brash to some or too boring to others. But, I don’t know…with you…it’s so easy.” She pauses a moment to smile at him. “I don’t know where this will lead…but maybe we can just see where it takes us? Live in the moment?”
The corner of his plush mouth quirks up, and he slowly nods. “Yes. I like the sound of that.”
He doesn’t give her a chance to respond before he’s leaning down to kiss her again, the ease in which they mould together making her melt into his embrace. It does not venture farther than that, the two of them eventually holding each other in a casual embrace as they watch the sunset over the horizon of the water. Trudy sighs into his touch, the happiest and most relaxed she’s ever felt; she should be nervous by this whole thing, the speed at which it's progressing and the man it's with, but somehow she knows it feels right…and she’s always been a woman to follow her instincts.
-
When they return to shore, the moon and stars illuminate the courtyard as Enzo quietly takes her hand and escorts her back through the house. He drops her off at the door of her room, a gentle smile and even gentler kiss before wishing her goodnight. As the butterflies swarm her belly something feels…incomplete. She has too much energy to go to bed now, the revelations with Enzo making her head swim with thoughts. A crazy idea passes through her and she just can’t seem to shake it…it’s insane, but…
Stripping off her dress, she looks over herself in the full length mirror. Her undergarments are simple and utilitarian, white cotton covering her most intimate areas. She remembers one of the more embarrassing parts of her shopping trip with Eppy, going over to her luggage and finding the silky pink bra and panties she had bought at her friends' cajoling. She’d insisted that Trudy have some more womanly pieces now that she was no longer living with her parents, and it had made her blush profusely when the sales girl had bagged up her items with a knowing smirk. She didn’t know of any time she’d actually feel brave enough to wear them…until now.
The material is cool against her heated skin, Trudy quickly donning a black robe of similar material over herself as she gives her hair one last zhush. Padding quietly down the hall to his room, she takes a deep breath before knocking.
“Si?” a deep voice answers from behind the door. Instead of answering, she turns the knob and steps into the opulent room, her eyes narrowing to the large man sitting up in the massive bed.
He’s wearing a white undershirt and simple black sleeping pants, his glasses low on his nose as he reads what looks like official correspondence from someone in his company. When he realizes that no one replies, he looks up to meet her gaze. His jaw slackens slightly as he blinks over to her, his eyes taking her in before he finally finds his voice.
“Trudy.” he breathes, his glasses coming off even as his eyes stay locked on her. “What is it, mia cara?”
Well, it’s now or never.
“I, uh…had a really lovely time tonight.” she begins, hoping her voice sounds casual as she slowly steps closer to the bed. His eyes track her every movement. “And, I realized…I don’t really want the night to be over yet.”
He blinks at her as she makes her way next to him, his head slowly tilting to the side as it takes in the silk wrapped around her body. “Is that so? What exactly did you have in mind?” He asks cautiously as he turns his legs over the edge of the bed, his face meeting hers.
“Well…I…uh, well I was hoping…” she stammers out, her face heating under his intense stare. She stops when he takes her hand, pulling her closer until she’s slotted between his parted knees.
“Come now, honey.” he pries gently, his voice low as he leans closer. “You came all this way, looking so beautiful. You know I would give you anything, you only need to ask.”
“Willyouhavesexwithme?” she blurts out quickly, her hand slapping over her mouth in white hot embarrassment. She expects Enzo to chuckle like she told some joke, but she sees his face go still like stone, his eyes widening.
“Trudy…” he breathes out in a sigh. “You can’t possibly—”
“I do.” she defends, already sensing his trepidation about his age. “I…I’ve never been more sure about anything.”
“Even the channel?” he teases, raising a brow. His humor loosens the tension in the room, her giggle causing him to bring her in closer until he has both hands around her waist. “I’m serious, cara. What you told me tonight…I could never live with myself if you came to regret it, or I hurt you in some way—”
“You could never hurt me, Enzo.” she breathes, gently cupping his face in her hands. “You…are the only man I trust to take care of me…to make it good. I know I seem like some silly young girl to you, but—”
He cuts her off with a fierce kiss, slowly stoking the flames already burning in her belly. “You are the most magnificent woman I’ve ever met. And if you trust me to do this for you…with you…it would be the greatest honor.”
She doesn’t respond with words, leaning into him as she presses her lips to his. It’s gentle and intimate until it's not, their kisses growing hungrier as he pulls their bodies flush together. Scooping her legs up until she’s sat astride his lap, he leans them back against the headboard as his hurried kisses trail down her jaw and neck. She finds the bravery to begin undoing the ties of her robe, pulling the fabric over her shoulders as he pauses to revel at the sight before him. She doesn’t understand the words he murmurs in Italian, his hands trailing from her shoulders, down to her breasts, her stomach, her thighs, until they make their way behind her to grab her ass. She whimpers at his touch, greedily stealing her own touches along his shoulders and chest.
“You are…perfection…” he breathes, his nose brushing the soft silk covering her breasts. She attempts to protest, her body is too sinewy and her chest small, but he doesn’t let her before he’s mouthing at her through the fabric, her gasps turning into moans as he takes a nipple between his lips. Her body acts on its own accord, grinding herself along what she feels as the hard length under his sleep pants.
The hand at her ass guides her back and forth with intention, pressing her harder into him as switches to her other breast, the flurry of sensations overheating her skin and mind. It’s somehow too much and not nearly enough, her body craving what she’s never had before.
“Enzo, please…more, please…” she begs softly, raking her fingers through the short hair at the back of his head. He doesn’t respond with words, lifting her off his lap and down to the firm but cushioned mattress with a grunt. She leans up to take off her bra as he sits up on his knees to remove his shirt, Trudy’s mouth watering at the sight of him; his body is the perfect juxtaposition of strength and comfort, and she wishes she could press kisses all across his skin.
Enzo has other ideas in mind, carefully removing her panties and tossing them across the room as he leans down with her head between her thighs. Her heart rate quickens at the sight, her brows furrowing slightly at his action. Is he not…
“Do not look so worried, cara.” he states, hooking her legs over each broad shoulder. “I will kiss you here to better prepare you to take me, just relax and trust me.” He looks at her expectantly before she realizes he’s waiting for her consent, her head quickly nodding in sheer bewilderment. He smirks with his own nod, his eyes never leaving hers as he kisses up the insides of her thighs.
When he finally makes it to his destination, a sharp gasp escapes her as she grips the sheets beneath her. The sensation is equal parts odd and exhilarating, the warmth and wetness of his tongue exploring parts of her she never thought possible.
She would confess that she touched herself alone in her dark bedroom when she was absolutely certain everyone in her house was sound asleep, but more often than not it did not give her much pleasure; looking back she realizes she didn't have anything to allow her imagination to run wild with desire…it was obvious that was indeed about to change.
“Oh…Enzo…” she whimpers, his ministrations precisely orchestrated to wring every ounce of sensation from her body. She can feel her pleasure mounting within her, like its on the precipice of something much higher than she’s ever been able to achieve for herself, when—
He stops.
“Wait, what?” she blurts out breathlessly, her head snapping up to meet his sinfully prideful gaze. He just chuckles and sits up, licking his lips methodically.
“Oh my dear sweet Trudy…” he murmurs, slowly working the ties on his pants. “You sound so fucking beautiful when you’re about to come. But I’m desperate to watch you as you come on my cock.” He pulls his pants down and allows said cock to spring free, Trudy’s eyes widening at the sight.
She’s had the unfortunate displeasure of seeing the cocks of male swimmers on accident, so despite her limited experience she already knows that Enzo’s rivals any other. The small sliver of intellect her lust-addled mind still has can’t help but see that it’s proportionate to his massive frame, and she’s already wondering just exactly how it will fit. He must seem to read her expression and mind, chuckling as he leans over her and slowly kisses her.
“Do not be afraid, cara. I will try to not hurt you.”
Her mind and body relax into his embrace for a moment at his words before she feels the tip of him press against her. She attempts to center herself to the moment like she does before a race, breathing slowly against Enzo’s cheek as he begins to make his way in. It’s uncomfortable, but she’s grateful for Enzo’s foresight to prepare her, her body accommodating him with more and more ease as he whispers praise that flits between English and Italian.
“Good?” he mutters, lifting his head to look down at her. She gives him an enthusiastic smile and giggle, causing his features to soften before he leans in to capture her lips.
His movements are slow and methodical, but not gentle. She feels his strength in every thrust, the drag of him inside her like nothing she’s ever felt before. She moans out his name and it only spurs him on more, Trudy finding the confidence to meet him at every move. He groans when she squeezes around him, and something wicked appears within her, no longer a passive participant as she tries to get him to lose his ever present composure.
“Cara…fuck…Slow down, I don’t want this to be over so soon—” His words are punctuated as she rakes her nails down his back, locking her legs around his waist to bring him even closer.
“It’s okay, Enzo. Please, I want it. I want you.” she breathes against the shell of his ear.”
His pace stutters but he recovers quickly, his thrusts driving deeper and harder as they both climb the precipice. She falls over the edge when his thumb presses at where they’re joined, the sensation overwhelming as she cries out in the indescribable feeling. Enzo is not far behind, his release shocking her as he groans out expletives against her throat.
It doesn’t take long before he’s turning them to their sides, still joined as he hikes one of her legs over his hip to bring them impossibly closer. He threads his fingers in her hair as he kisses her slowly, their breaths leveling as they come down from their high. She can’t help but giggle into the kiss, the impossibility of this whole night filling her with unbridled joy. Enzo can’t help but join her in his own joyful disbelief, and she can’t find an ounce of regret within her.
“I think…” she begins, resting her cheek against his chest with a sigh. “I’d like to stay in Italy a little while longer.”
“Oh?” he replies, Trudy smiling to herself at his feigned nonchalance.
“Yeah. I’m sure there are so many more sights to see, more people to meet...” She knows she’s needling him, but the mischievous side of her can’t help it when she feels him growl softly.
“You’ll need a guide.” he replies, and Trudy giggles as she finally lifts her head up to look at him through her lashes. He looks so young as he tries to hold back his amusement, some unspoken joke passing between them.
“Have anyone in mind?” she continues, shuffling herself up to rest her chin on his shoulder as her face comes right up to his. He nudges his nose gently against hers.
“I suppose you could find someone willing. Someone smart, handsome, rich…” She barks out a laugh at this. “...and someone who will fuck you on any surface of every city you’d like.”
She laughs again, causing him to chuckle in return. “Sounds like exactly what I’m looking for.”
His eyes go soft as he admires her, and she feels her heart squeeze in her chest as he tilts further to press a gentle kiss to her temple, her cheek, her lips. “I think he would say the same about you.”
She hums quietly, kissing him again before she feels herself drift off into a weightless and peaceful sleep.
