The sound of her name on Valtor's tongue sent Bloom over the edge with a choked breath, his groan muffled against her hair when he spilled inside her.
“Bloom...” Her eyes opened, and reality returned all at once. The word alone was enough to remind her exactly where she was, exactly who she was letting hold her.
She quickly stepped away from him, so that he couldn't tower over her, tugging off what's left of her ruined underwear, before she smoothed her Enchantix dress back into place.
"Thirty more days," she reminded him.
"Or thirty nights," he corrected, as the enchanted bars slammed shut behind her.
And as he waited for his trial in the enchanted cell of Magix prison, Valtor found himself thinking that perhaps being imprisoned wasn't so terrible after all, if Bloom intended to visit him every day.
