Otto is bored. He is super bored, none of his friends are free to call or hang out and his boyfriend, North, is currently not home. So yes, he is bored as hell.
He already watched the new episode of his ongoing drama, he already listened to the newest music and he even answered his emails. (Yes, he is that bored)
His only solution; doomscrolling. Otto unlocks his phone and watches the videos on his for you page. The first one that pops up is a cute cat video and Otto awes at it. He thinks about trying to convince his boyfriend to get a cat.
The second one is a proposal video. And yes, it is five minutes long. And yes, Otto watches the whole video. Seeing other couples makes him think of North and a smile spreads across his face immediately.
The third video is…an ad. For some weird website where you can apparently buy everything you need, from clothes to food. Otto shakes his head and scrolls.
The fourth video is a cleaning video. The woman on Otto’s screen cleans her makeup desk, sorts out used items and sorts in her new items. Otto is a little jealous, his makeup collection isn’t as big as hers.
But the video gives him motivation to clean up as well. Cleaning might not be the best thing ever, but still better than being bored out of your mind.
Otto stands up and walks over to the bedroom. His first mission is to pick up all the clothes and throw them into the laundry basket. Most of the clothes aren’t his own but his boyfriends, who always leaves them all over the apartment.
Otto’s second mission is to clean up their desk. He throws away some old post-its, organises the pens and markers and sorts some papers of North. He doesn’t know what’s important and what’s not, so he just leaves them on a stack.
His eyes fly over some headings “Gym Membership Terms & Conditions” “Employment Contract Amendment” “Project Completion Report” “100 Reasons why I love you” “Body Composition Analysis”.
Otto stops his movements, flips back to “100 Reasons why I love you” and pulls the paper out of the stack. He’s standing in front of the desk, holding a paper that lists 100 reasons why North loves him. He should not read them, North obviously doesn’t want him to or else he would have given Otto the list. But he already starts reading the first lines and Otto is sure that he won’t be able to stop.

Tears start to form in Otto’s eyes half way through. Now, at the end, he is full on crying. Never has someone done something like this for him. And if he is being honest, he never expected North to do something like this for him.
He is aware that North loves him more than anyone and anything. But his boyfriend isn’t the best with words and shows his love through actions. So seeing 100 reasons written done, Otto can’t help but cry.
“Baby? Where are you, I’m back!” Otto doesn’t even hear the front door, too focused on reading. Seconds later the door to their bedroom opens and North steps in.
“There you are- Baby? Are you crying? What happened?” The concern in North’s voice is clear, as he steps closer to his boyfriend and sees his red, swollen eyes. He gently takes the paper out of Otto’s hands and pulls Otto into his arms.
“You weren’t supposed to see this, baby.” He mumbles softly into Otto’s hair, caressing his boyfriend’s head. “It’s for you, obviously, but I wanted to give it to you later.”
“S-Sorry. I just cou-couldn’t stop myself from reading.” Otto tries to explain himself while sobbing. North’s shirt is soaked with tears, but he doesn’t seem to care.
“It’s okay, baby. Knowing you, you would have cried at whatever time I gave you the list.” North is still caressing Otto’s head. He also mumbles some soothing words into his ear and after a while Otto stops crying.
“All good, baby?”
“Yes thank you. And thank you for the list. I know you’re not the best with words, so I hope you know how much I appreciate it. I will seriously frame it and place it somewhere I can see it all the time.”
North chuckles at his adorable boyfriend and places a kiss on his temple.
“Do whatever you want with it, it’s yours anyway.”
