"Even if you keep staring at the stapler like it's a sentient being, it's still not going to fix itself," Minho said, leaning over the cubicle wall with a smirk.
Taehyung blinked, finally shifting his gaze away from the jammed piece of office equipment. He had spent the last five minutes pretending to be preoccupied with a jammed stapler, but in reality, he had been tracking the scent of cedarwood and expensive cologne drifting through the ventilation system. It was a heavy, grounding aroma, the kind that didn't just announce a presence but claimed the entire floor. It was an Alpha's scent, refined and dominant, and it was currently making Taehyung's knees feel like they were made of gelatin.
The morning had started with a literal crash. Taehyung had been rushing toward the elevator with two oversized lattes and a stack of quarterly reports when he'd collided head-on with a man who felt like a brick wall. The collision had been sudden and absolute; the coffee had painted the man's charcoal suit in a violent splatter of beige, and Taehyung had spent the next thirty seconds stammering apologies while staring up into a pair of dark, amused eyes. The man hadn't been angry. In fact, he had just laughed-- a low, vibrating sound that seemed to settle right in the pit of Taehyung's stomach, and told him to just "be more careful next time" before walking away.
Taehyung had been in love for exactly four seconds. He didn't even know the man's name, but the sheer gravity of the stranger's presence had left him reeling. For the rest of the day, he'd been a ghost in his own body, floating through meetings and spreadsheets while his mind looped back to the way the man's hand had briefly steadied his shoulder during the fall.
Now, the scent was getting stronger. The elevators had just chimed, and the hushed chatter of the office had shifted into a formal, expectant silence. The junior staff were all straightening their ties and clearing their desks.
"He's here," Minho whispered, his voice dropping an octave.
"The lead consultant from the Seoul office. Apparently, he's a nightmare about deadlines but a god at restructuring. Try not to look like a lost puppy, Tae."
Taehyung didn't listen. He couldn't. He was too busy gripping the edge of his desk, his heart hammering against his ribs as the heavy tread of dress shoes approached. When the man finally rounded the corner, the air in the room seemed to vanish. It was him. The man from the elevator, looking even more imposing in the harsh fluorescent light of the office, carrying a leather briefcase and an aura of effortless authority. He looked to be in his late thirties, with a maturity that made Taehyung feel like a child playing dress-up in his professional attire.
"Jeon Jungkook," the department head announced, his voice cutting through the thick tension of the room.
"He'll be overseeing the transition for the next three months. Please ensure he has everything he needs."
Taehyung felt a sudden, electric jolt shoot down his spine at the sound of the name. Jungkook. It sounded like a promise. He tried to sink lower into his ergonomic chair, hoping the grey fabric of his cubicle would swallow him whole, but his body betrayed him. He found himself leaning forward, his neck arching instinctively, his nose twitching as he tried to pull in more of that cedarwood scent. He was an Omega in the prime of his youth, and his biology was screaming at him that this Alpha was the gold standard.
Jungkook's gaze swept the room, professional and detached, until it landed on the junior staff. As his eyes migrated across the rows of desks, they slowed, eventually locking onto Taehyung. A flicker of recognition crossed the Alpha's face--a small, knowing crease at the corner of his eye. He remembered the coffee-stained suit. He remembered the wide-eyed, trembling boy who had looked at him like he was a celestial event.
"You," Jungkook said, his voice a low rumble that vibrated in the air.
He didn't shout, yet the sound seemed to carry a weight that silenced everyone else. He stepped closer to Taehyung's desk, the scent of him now an overwhelming tide that made Taehyung's inner thighs ache with a sudden, pulsing heat.
"The one with the coffee. You're in the administrative pool, correct?"
"Yes, sir. I-yes, administrative. I'm Kim Taehyung," he managed to get out, though his voice sounded thin and breathy to his own ears.
He felt the heat crawling up his neck, a telltale flush that probably looked like a neon sign announcing his attraction. He didn't know how to stop it; the Alpha's presence was like a physical weight, pressing him down into the chair while simultaneously making him want to leap up and bridge the small gap between them.
Jungkook didn't pull away. Instead, he lingered, his gaze drifting from Taehyung's eyes down to the trembling hand still gripping the edge of the desk. A slow, thoughtful expression crossed the older man's face, one that wasn't entirely professional. He seemed to be cataloging Taehyung-- the softness of his jaw, the way his scent was beginning to sweeten under the pressure of his nervousness, the sheer, unfiltered longing written across his face. The air between them felt thick, almost viscous, as if the rest of the office had faded into a blur of grey noise.
"Your reports were on the floor," Jungkook noted, his voice dropping to a more intimate volume that only Taehyung could truly hear.
"I believe you're the one responsible for the quarterly summaries for the transition team?"
Taehyung nodded frantically, his brain scrambling to remember if that was actually his job or if he'd just been tasked with printing them.
"I... I can get those for you. Right now. They're right here, or- well, they're in the folder."
He started to scramble for the manila folder on his desk, but in his haste, his elbow clipped a pen holder, sending a cascade of stationery clattering across the desk. The noise was jarringly loud in the silence of the room, and Taehyung froze, looking mortified.
Jungkook didn't flinch at the clatter. Instead, he stepped further into the narrow confines of the cubicle, his presence effectively sealing Taehyung off from the rest of the office. He leaned down, his large hand reaching past Taehyung to retrieve a rolling pen that had escaped toward the edge of the desk. As he did, his shoulder brushed against Taehyung's, and the contact felt like a live wire snapping. The Alpha's scent intensified, swirling around Taehyung in a dizzying cloud of cedar and something warmer, like sun-baked earth, making the Omega's breath hitch in his throat.
"Easy there," Jungkook murmured, his voice a smooth, low vibration.
He didn't pull his hand away immediately after grabbing the pen; he let his fingers linger on the mahogany surface of the desk, just an inch from Taehyung's trembling wrist.
"No need to panic. I'm not as scary as the rumors suggest."
Taehyung let out a small, shaky laugh that sounded more like a whimper. He was acutely aware of the height difference, of the way he had to crane his neck to look up at the man, and of the sheer breadth of Jungkook's shoulders which seemed to block out the fluorescent glare of the ceiling. He felt small, soft, and desperately wanting to be touched. The heat between his thighs had transitioned from a pulse to a steady, demanding thrum, his body reacting to the Alpha's proximity with a primal urgency that made it difficult to focus on the folders in front of him.
"I'm not... I'm not panicking," Taehyung lied, his voice pitching slightly higher.
He finally managed to shove the manila folder toward Jungkook, his fingers brushing against the Alpha's palm in the process. The contact was brief, but it sent a jolt of electricity straight to Taehyung's core. He watched, mesmerized, as Jungkook's long, blunt fingers gripped the folder, the contrast of the dark leather of his watch against his skin making Taehyung's mouth go dry.
Jungkook didn't take the folder and walk away. Instead, he held the manila sleeve in one hand and used the other to lean against the cubicle partition, effectively boxing Taehyung in. He looked down at the documents, then back at Taehyung, his expression softening into something that wasn't quite a smile but was far too warm to be purely professional. He seemed to be enjoying the effect he had on the younger man; the way Taehyung's pupils were blown wide, the way his chest was heaving in shallow, uneven breaths.
"The data in these summaries is crucial," Jungkook said, his voice humming in the small space.
"I'll likely have a lot of questions. I prefer my briefings to be thorough, and since you're the one handling the administrative flow, I think it would be most efficient if you worked directly with me during the first few weeks. Do you think you can handle that, Taehyung?"
The use of his name, spoken in that low, resonant tone, made Taehyung's toes curl inside his dress shoes. He felt a sudden, dizzying wave of submission wash over him, a biological response to the Alpha's quiet command. He wanted to say yes-- he wanted to say anything that would ensure he spent the next three months in least proximity to this man.
"Yes, sir. I can handle it. I'll do whatever is needed."
Jungkook let out a soft, appreciative huff of a laugh. He straightened up, the sudden absence of his leaning weight leaving Taehyung feeling oddly cold.
"Good. Bring the rest of the files to my temporary office in ten minutes. And Taehyung?" He paused, his gaze sweeping over the Omega's flushed face one last time.
"Try to breathe. You're far too tense."
The ten minutes it took Taehyung to reach the temporary office felt like a slow-motion trek through a dream. He had spent the time meticulously organizing the files, though his hands were still shaking so violently that he nearly dropped the stapler again. Every time he closed his eyes, he could still feel the phantom pressure of Jungkook's shoulder against his, and the lingering scent of cedarwood seemed to have clung to his own skin, marking him in a way that made him feel exposed and exhilarated. He paused outside the door, taking three deep, grounding breaths to settle the frantic drumming of his heart, though his inner Omega was practically singing, urging him to simply throw himself at the Alpha's feet.
When he finally pushed the door open, he found Jungkook stripped of his suit jacket, the charcoal fabric draped over the back of a chair. The Alpha was leaning over a mahogany desk, the sleeves of his white dress shirt rolled up to reveal muscular forearms and a glimpse of a dark tattoo peeking from beneath the cuff. He looked less like a corporate shark and more like a man who knew exactly how much power he wielded. The office was small, the air already saturated with Jungkook's scent, and as Taehyung stepped inside, the door clicked shut behind him, sealing them into a private, scent-heavy sanctuary.
"You're punctual," Jungkook noted without looking up, though his voice had lost the formal edge it held in the open office.
He looked up then, his dark eyes tracking Taehyung's hesitant approach. The Alpha's gaze didn't just see him; it felt like it was peeling back the layers of Taehyung's professional facade, reading the raw, desperate attraction written in the slump of his shoulders and the flush of his cheeks.
"Set them here."
Taehyung stepped forward, the distance between them shrinking until he was standing just beside the desk. As he lowered the files, his hip brushed against the edge of the wood, and he felt a sudden, sharp spike of longing. He was so close that he could smell the subtle note of coffee and old books beneath the cedarwood. He lingered a second too long, his gaze drifting to the pulse point in Jungkook's neck, imagining what it would be like to press his nose there and breathe in the Alpha's essence until he was dizzy.
Jungkook didn't move to take the files immediately. Instead, he shifted his weight, his arm brushing against Taehyung's side as he reached for a pen, a deliberate or perhaps accidental movement that sent a fresh surge of heat through the Omega. The silence in the room was heavy, punctuated only by the distant hum of the office air conditioning and the frantic, thudding rhythm of Taehyung's heart. He felt exposed, as if the sheer intensity of his attraction were a physical thing, a scent filling the room that only an Alpha of Jungkook's caliber could truly decipher.
"You're quite literally trembling, Taehyung,. What's the problem? Are you that scared of me?" Jungkook observed, his voice dropping into a register that felt like a caress.
He finally looked up, his dark eyes locking onto Taehyung's with an intensity that made the younger man feel like he was the only person in the world.
Taehyung swallowed hard, his throat feeling tight.
"I... I'm just a little nervous, sir. I want to make sure everything is correct."
He tried to pull back, but his body felt heavy, anchored by the gravity of the man beside him. The scent of the Alpha was intoxicating in the confined space, thick and warm, triggering a primal response in Taehyung that made his vision blur slightly at the edges.
Jungkook didn't let him retreat. Instead, he shifted his position, stepping around the desk until he was standing directly in Taehyung's personal space. He was tall, his presence overwhelming, and as he came to a halt, the heat radiating from his body seemed to seep through Taehyung's thin dress shirt. The Alpha didn't touch him, but he leaned in, his nose tilting slightly as if he were sampling the air. Taehyung let out a small, involuntary whimper, his knees buckling just a fraction.
"You smell like vanilla and something... sweet," Jungkook murmured, his voice a low rumble that Taehyung felt in his own chest.
"Very sweet. It's distracting."
02
Taehyung's breath hitched, a fragmented sound that was half-sigh and half-sob. The admission that his scent was "distracting" felt like a physical touch, a warm brand pressing into his skin. He felt the instinctive urge to lean in, to press his cheek against the crisp white cotton of Jungkook's shirt and let the Alpha's cedarwood scent drown out everything else in the world. He was hyper-aware of the friction of his own clothes, the way his trousers felt suddenly too tight across his hips, and the insistent, damp heat pooling between his thighs.
Jungkook didn't pull away. Instead, he tilted his head, his gaze dropping to Taehyung's lips for a fraction of a second before returning to his eyes. The power dynamic in the room had shifted; it was no longer about reports and transitions, but about the raw, magnetic pull between an Alpha and an Omega. Jungkook's expression remained composed, but there was a hunger there, a quiet, controlled appetite that made Taehyung feel like a feast.
"I... I'm sorry, sir," Taehyung whispered, though there was no genuine apology in his voice, only a desperate hope that Jungkook wouldn't stop.
"I didn't mean to be... distracting."
"Don't apologize for being a natural," Jungkook replied, his voice humming with a low, dangerous vibration.
He reached out, his large hand not quite touching Taehyung's waist, but hovering just an inch from the fabric of his shirt. The heat radiating from the palm was palpable.
"It's quite a feat to make a man forget about a three-hundred-page restructuring report within ten minutes of meeting him. You're a very effective distraction, Taehyung."
Taehyung felt a shudder ripple through him, his back pressing against the cool surface of the office door. The proximity was dizzying; he could see the slight gold flecks in Jungkook's dark irises and the way the Alpha's chest rose and fell in a steady, rhythmic beat. He was so consumed by the man's presence that the sounds of the bustling office outside; the distant ringing of phones and the muffled chatter of coworkers, felt like they belonged to another dimension. In this small, cedar-scented vacuum, there was only the heat of Jungkook and the frantic, desperate pounding of Taehyung's own heart.
"I can... I can go back to my desk if it's too much," Taehyung breathed, though he didn't move an inch.
He was practically vibrating with the need to be touched, his body humming in a frequency that only the Alpha seemed to be tuning into. He felt an instinctive, Omega urge to tilt his head, to expose the sensitive line of his throat to the man, offering himself up in a silent plea for attention.
Jungkook let out a slow, thoughtful exhale. His hand finally closed the distance, his palm settling firmly against the small of Taehyung's back. The contact was electric, a grounding force that sent a jolt of pure heat straight to Taehyung's core. The Alpha's hand was large and warm, his fingers splaying across the fabric of Taehyung's trousers, pulling him just a fraction of an inch closer.
"Why would you do that?" Jungkook murmured, his voice dropping to a velvet rasp.
"I think we've both decided that the reports can wait a few more minutes."
Taehyung let out a soft, shaky exhale, his eyes fluttering shut as he leaned into the touch. The sheer confidence of the older man was intoxicating. Jungkook wasn't rushing; he was savoring the moment, treating Taehyung's reaction like a vintage wine he was tasting for the first time. He shifted his hand slightly, his thumb brushing against the curve of Taehyung's hip, and the Omega felt a sharp, pulsing ache bloom between his legs, a demanding wetness that made him feel lightheaded with want.
"You're trembling," Jungkook noted, his voice barely a whisper, yet it filled every corner of the room.
He didn't move his hand from Taehyung's hip, but the slight pressure of his fingers seemed to anchor the younger man to the spot.
"Is this how you always react to your superiors, or am I a special case?"
Taehyung couldn't find the words. He felt like he was drowning in a sea of cedar and musk, his mind spinning into a haze of pure, unadulterated longing. He shifted his weight instinctively, the movement causing his thigh to brush against Jungkook's leg. The friction was minimal, but for Taehyung, it was like a match being struck against a dry forest. He let out a small, broken sound-- a soft whine that he couldn't suppress, a sound that was entirely too Omega for a professional setting.
Jungkook's expression shifted, the professional mask finally cracking to reveal a raw, protective intensity. He stepped closer, eliminating the last sliver of space between them. He didn't kiss him; instead, he leaned down, his lips hovering just an inch from the sensitive curve of Taehyung's neck. He didn't touch the skin, but the heat of his breath sent a violent shiver through Taehyung's entire frame.
"You smell like you're in need of dick," Jungkook murmured, the words vibrating against Taehyung's skin.
"It's a very dangerous thing, Taehyung, to be this open with an Alpha in a room with a locked door."
Taehyung's head tilted instinctively, his pulse hammering against his skin like a trapped bird. The vulnerability of the gesture was total, a silent surrender to the gravity of the man. He felt a sudden, dizzying rush of heat as Jungkook's nose brushed against the scent gland at the crook of his neck-- not a full nuzzle, but a teasing, tentative exploration. The Alpha inhaled deeply, a low growl vibrating in his chest that sounded less like a warning and more like an appetite being acknowledged.
"I... I don't know what I'm doing," Taehyung whimpered, his hands finally finding purchase on the crisp fabric of Jungkook's shirt.
He gripped the material tightly, bunching it in his fists as if he were afraid he might float away if he let go. The contrast was staggering: the polished, corporate environment of the office versus the primal, thick tension radiating between them.
Jungkook let out a soft, dark chuckle, the sound vibrating against Taehyung's skin.
"You're doing exactly what you were built to do," he murmured.
He shifted his hand from the small of Taehyung's back, sliding it upward, the palm grazing the curve of his ribs before settling firmly against his waist. The grip was possessive, pulling Taehyung's softer frame flush against the hard planes of the Alpha's body. For the first time, Taehyung felt the solid weight of Jungkook's thigh pressing between his own, and the friction sent a sharp, electric spike of pleasure straight to his core.
The air in the room felt heavy, saturated with a mixture of cedarwood and the cloying sweetness of Taehyung's arousal. The Omega felt a pulsing, wet heat gathering in the small of his lap, a desperate thrumming that made his vision swim. He wanted to be claimed; he wanted the Alpha to stop talking and simply take what was being so generously offered. He leaned his forehead against Jungkook's shoulder, his breath coming in short, jagged gasps.
Jungkook's hand tightened on his waist, the pressure grounding and possessive. He didn't move to kiss him yet; instead, he seemed content to let the tension coil tighter and tighter, like a spring being wound to its breaking point. He shifted his weight, his thigh sliding further between Taehyung's legs, creating a friction that made Taehyung's head roll back against the door with a soft thud. A strangled, needy sound escaped Taehyung's throat-- a soft, high-pitched keen that signaled his total surrender.
"Such a sweet sound," Jungkook whispered, his voice now a low, dangerous rumble.
He drifted his lips along the line of Taehyung's jaw, never quite making contact but leaving a trail of searing heat in his wake.
"Tell me, Taehyung. Do you have any idea how long I've been thinking about this since you ran into me in the elevator?"
Taehyung's eyes flew open, wide and glazed with longing.
"You... you were thinking about it?"
"Hard to ignore a scent like yours," Jungkook admitted, his breath hot against the Omega's ear.
"It's been humming under my skin all morning. You're like a siren, little one."
The endearment made Taehyung's stomach flip, a dizzying rush of affection and lust swirling together. He felt small, cherished, and utterly consumed. He shifted his hips instinctively, seeking more of that solid, Alpha weight, his own body betraying every corporate rule they were currently breaking.
Jungkook didn't wait for a response. He shifted his grip, his hand sliding from Taehyung's waist to the nape of his neck, fingers tangling in the soft hairs at the base of his skull. The movement was firm, guiding Taehyung's head back and exposing the pale, pulsing line of his throat completely. Jungkook didn't go for the kill; instead, he pressed his forehead against Taehyung's, their breaths mingling in the suffocating heat of the office. The Alpha's eyes were dark, swirling with a mixture of corporate restraint and primal hunger that threatened to snap at any second.
"I can't focus on a single spreadsheet if you're in the room smelling like this," Jungkook murmured, his voice dropping to a gravelly depth.
He let his thumb stroke the sensitive skin just beneath Taehyung's ear, a slow, deliberate rhythm that made the Omega's legs tremble.
"It's unfair, really. I'm trying to be a professional, and you're practically begging me to ruin your afternoon."
Taehyung let out a shaky, breathless laugh, his fingers still clutching the white fabric of Jungkook's shirt as if it were a lifeline.
"Maybe... maybe I want you to," he whispered, the admission feeling like a leap of faith.
The sheer boldness of the statement sent a thrill through him, and he felt his inner Omega preen at the Alpha's sharp intake of breath. The air between them was so thick with pheromones it felt like a physical weight, a heavy, golden haze that blurred the edges of the room until the only thing that existed was the scent of cedar and the heat of their bodies.
The tension finally broke when Jungkook tilted his head and captured Taehyung's lips in a kiss that was less of a request and more of a claim. It was deep, demanding, and tasted of coffee and raw desire. Taehyung gasped into the kiss, his body arching instinctively toward the Alpha, his chest pressing firmly against the hard muscle of Jungkook's torso. He felt the world tilt on its axis, his mind going completely blank as the Alpha's tongue swept through his mouth, exploring him with a possessive intensity that left him lightheaded.
Taehyung's moan was swallowed by the kiss, a muffled, needy sound that vibrated through both of them. He felt like he was melting, his bones turning to liquid as Jungkook's hand migrated from his neck to the small of his back, crushing him firmly against the Alpha's thighs. The physical sensation of Jungkook's arousal; hard and insistent against his own softness, sent a jolt of pure electricity through Taehyung's nerves. He shifted his hips, a subconscious attempt to bridge the gap, and the friction of their trousers rubbing together was almost too much to bear.
Jungkook pulled back just an inch, his lips glistening and his breathing heavy. He didn't let go of Taehyung, however; he kept him pinned against the door, his gaze scanning Taehyung's face with a raw, predatory heat.
"You have no idea what you're doing to me," Jungkook rasped, his voice sounding like it had been dragged over gravel.
"I came here to restructure a company, not to be brought to my knees by a junior administrator."
Taehyung's heart was drumming a frantic rhythm against his ribs. The sheer power radiating from Jungkook was overwhelming, making him feel fragile and precious. He let his head loll to the side, his eyes half-closed, his chest heaving in shallow gasps.
"Then don't be professional," he whispered, his voice barely a thread. "Please. Just... don't be professional."
A low, guttural growl erupted from Jungkook's throat, a sound of pure Alpha surrender. He didn't need to be told twice. In one fluid motion, he pivoted, sweeping Taehyung off his feet and hoisting him up onto the mahogany desk. The impact of the wood against Taehyung's thighs was a sharp contrast to the searing heat of the man who immediately stepped between his legs, crowding him into the corner of the desk. The files Taehyung had so carefully organized were scattered, sliding across the polished surface and fluttering to the floor like forgotten confetti, but neither of them cared.
Jungkook's hands didn't hesitate. He gripped Taehyung's thighs, his fingers digging into the soft flesh, pulling him forward until there wasn't a single millimeter of air left between them. He attacked Taehyung's neck with a renewed hunger, his lips trailing fire from the jawline down to the sensitive dip of his collarbone. Taehyung let out a high, keening sound, his head arching back, his fingers digging into Jungkook's shoulders as he fought for air. The scent of cedar was no longer just a fragrance; it was an atmosphere, a thick, suffocating blanket that made Taehyung's inner Omega howl with a desperate need to be filled.
"You're so soft," Jungkook groaned against his skin, his voice vibrating through Taehyung's entire frame.
"So damn sweet, too."
He shifted his focus, his hand sliding up from the thigh, venturing under the hem of Taehyung's dress shirt. The touch of a calloused palm against the bare skin of his stomach made Taehyung jump, a sharp gasp escaping him. The Alpha's hand didn't stop, moving upward with a possessive certainty, his thumb brushing over Taehyung's nipple before pinching at it sending sparks of electricity racing toward his heart.
Taehyung was a mess of contradictions; professional attire and primal longing, a junior staffer and a man completely undone by the weight of his boss's gaze. He felt the Alpha's heavy weight pressing him down into the desk, and the sensation of Jungkook's arousal through their layers of clothing was becoming an unbearable torture. He shifted his hips, a desperate, searching grind that brought a strangled noise from Jungkook's throat. The Alpha's grip tightened, his eyes flashing with a dark, focused intensity that promised a complete lack of mercy.

Jungkook’s hand didn't linger on his ribs for long. With a sudden, decisive movement, the Alpha’s palm slid downward, bypassing the waistband of Taehyung’s trousers to find the heat waiting beneath. The moment Jungkook’s fingers brushed against the slick, swollen folds of his cunt, Taehyung let out a loud, unfiltered cry, his back arching so sharply that he nearly slid off the mahogany surface. The sensation was overwhelming; the contrast of the cool office air and the searing heat of Jungkook’s touch sent a violent shudder through his entire body.
"You're soaking. Is this because of me, baby?" Jungkook rasped, his voice sounding like a physical weight.
Taehyung could only respond with whines and whimpers, his inner Omega begging for more of Jungkook's touch.
He didn't pull away; instead, he used two fingers to probe the entrance of Taehyung's heat, testing the depth of the Omega's readiness. The slickness was a testament to how badly Taehyung had been wanting this since the moment he’d seen the man in the elevator.
"You've been thinking about this all day, haven't you? Just imagining me doing this to you while you sat at your desk."
Taehyung couldn't even deny it. He nodded frantically, his eyes rolling back as Jungkook’s fingers slid deeper, circling the sensitive head of his clit with a rhythmic, agonizing precision. The world outside the door ceased to exist. The corporate hierarchy, the quarterly summaries, the fear of being caught-- it all dissolved into the singular, pulsing point of contact between them. Taehyung felt a wave of pleasure crash over him, a tidal wave of gold and cedar that left him breathless and shaking.
"Please," Taehyung whimpered, his voice breaking.
He didn't know what he was asking for; whether it was for Jungkook to stop or to never let him go, but the Alpha understood. Jungkook’s expression shifted from hunger to something more possessive, a dark, protective glint in his eyes that made Taehyung feel completely claimed. He leaned in, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin of Taehyung’s shoulder, marking him without a bite, a promise of what was to come.
"Please, Sir... please," Taehyung sobbed.
"No baby, call me Daddy and maybe I will give it to you."
A deep red colours Taehyung's cheeks in embarassment but the ache and the itch in his pussy didn't allow him the luxury to be timid. He wanted Jungkook's dick and if that meant calling him 'daddy' that was a done deal. Besides, Jungkook was obviously older than him.
"Please, D-Daddy. Please"
That acted as a final catalyst.
Taehyung shifted his hips, trying to press his throbbing, aching pussy more firmly against the Alpha’s hand. The friction of the mahogany desk against his thighs felt distant, a secondary sensation to the electric fire Jungkook was igniting within him. He felt an intuitive, desperate need to be filled, his inner Omega screaming for the Alpha's knot to stretch him, to claim the empty space that had been humming with longing for hours.
"What do you want Daddy to do to you baby?"
"W-Want Daddy's cock in m-me, please"
At Taehyung's response, Jungkook let out a low, guttural sound, a mixture of a growl and a sigh and finally withdrew his hand. For a heartbeat, Taehyung felt a cold void where the touch had been, a sudden plummet in temperature that made him whine in protest. But the Alpha wasn't finished. He moved with a focused, corporate efficiency applied to a primal task, his fingers making quick work of his own belt and the zipper of his trousers. The sound of the metal teeth sliding open was loud in the silence of the office, a signal that the time for teasing had ended.
"Look at me, Taehyung," Jungkook commanded, his voice a deep, resonant vibration.
Taehyung forced his eyes open, blinking through a haze of lust to see the Alpha’s face. Jungkook’s expression was stripped of all professional restraint; he looked raw, hungry, and utterly consumed by the Omega beneath him. He reached out, his hand cupping Taehyung’s jaw, his thumb stroking the flushed skin of his cheek.
"Daddy's going to take you right here. On this desk. Do you understand?"
Taehyung could only nod, his breath coming in short, jagged hitches. He wrapped his legs around Jungkook’s waist, pulling him closer, his ankles locking behind the Alpha's back to anchor himself. He felt the hard, heavy length of Jungkook’s member press against his entrance, the sheer size of him promising a fullness that made Taehyung’s head spin. The Alpha paused for a second, his forehead resting against Taehyung’s, their scents mingling into a thick, heady syrup of cedar and vanilla.
The first push was slow, a deliberate invasion that made Taehyung’s breath hitch in a silent, shimmering gasp. He felt the Alpha's girth stretching him, filling the void that had been aching since the morning, and the sheer scale of the sensation made his vision blur. He clung to Jungkook’s shoulders, his fingernails digging into the expensive fabric of the dress shirt, anchoring himself as he was claimed. A low, guttural moan vibrated in Taehyung’s throat, a sound of pure, unadulterated relief.
Jungkook groaned, his eyes closing tight as he sank deeper into the Omega's heat. He paused for a moment, his body trembling with the effort of restraint, his forehead pressed against Taehyung's. The friction was intoxicating; the tight, wet heat of Taehyung's walls seemed to pulse around him, welcoming him with a desperate, rhythmic intensity.
"You're so tight," Jungkook rasped, his voice a broken shadow of its usual corporate authority.
"Fuck, Taehyung... you're perfect."
The Alpha began to move, his thrusts steady and powerful, each one driving Taehyung further back against the mahogany desk. The heavy furniture groaned under their combined weight, the sound echoing in the quiet office and adding a layer of illicit thrill to the encounter. Taehyung’s legs tightened around Jungkook’s waist, pulling him deeper, wanting to erase every millimeter of space between them. Every strike of their hips sounded like a gavel, pronouncing a verdict of total surrender.
As the pace quickened, the room seemed to shrink until there was nothing left but the scent of cedar and the sound of their colliding skin. Taehyung was lost in a golden haze, his head lolling back as he let out a series of high, needy whimpers. He felt the Alpha’s hand slide up to grip his chin, tilting his face up to meet a kiss that tasted of desperation and ownership. The power dynamic had shifted entirely; the junior administrator was now the center of the Alpha's universe, the only thing that mattered in a world of spreadsheets and corporate strategy.
The world narrowed down to the rhythmic, thrumming heat of their connection. Every thrust from Jungkook was a deliberate claim, driving the air from Taehyung’s lungs in a series of broken, melodic gasps. The Alpha’s movements were no longer cautious; they were hungry, driven by a primal need that had been simmering beneath his polished exterior since the moment he had stepped into the building. He gripped Taehyung’s hips with bruising force, anchoring him to the mahogany as he drove home, seeking the very back of the Omega's heat.
Taehyung was completely undone, his mind a static hum of pleasure and scent. He felt the precise moment Jungkook’s rhythm shifted—the thrusts becoming shorter, faster, and more urgent Ashe chased his own orgasm. A low, possessive growl ripped from the Alpha's throat, a sound that vibrated through Taehyung’s entire chest and sent a fresh wave of arousal crashing over him. The walls of Taehyung's pussy pulsed in a frantic, welcoming rhythm, squeezing the Alpha with a desperation that pushed them both toward the edge.
"Daddy! Please, now," Taehyung sobbed, his voice a ruined whisper. He arched his back, his chest heaving, his fingers clutching at the Alpha's hair to pull him closer.
The Alpha didn't hold back. With one final, devastatingly deep push, Jungkook let out a guttural shout and surrendered to the release. At the same moment, Taehyung’s body tightened into a violent, shimmering climax, his inner muscles contracting in waves of pure gold. He felt the sudden, searing heat of the Alpha’s knot expanding within him, locking them together in a biological bond that made Taehyung’s heart stutter. He let out a long, shaking keen, his forehead dropping onto Jungkook’s shoulder as the world finally stopped spinning.
The silence that followed was heavy, thick with the scent of cedar and vanilla and the frantic, synchronized thrumming of two hearts trying to find their rhythm again. For several long minutes, neither of them moved. The knot held them in a locked, intimate embrace, a primal tether that made Taehyung feel an overwhelming sense of safety and belonging. He lay draped over Jungkook’s shoulder, his breath coming in shallow, exhausted hitches, while the Alpha’s chest heaved against his own, his grip on Taehyung’s hips not loosening even as the intensity of the climax faded.
Jungkook buried his face in the crook of Taehyung’s neck, inhaling the Omega's scent with a slow, possessive depth. He didn't speak, but the low, rumbling vibration in his chest told Taehyung everything he needed to know. The corporate consultant, the man of strategy and precision, had been completely dismantled by the junior assistant. As the knot slowly began to recede, Jungkook let out a long, shaky exhale, his lips brushing against Taehyung’s pulse point in a tender, almost subconscious gesture of affection.
"I'm in so much trouble," Jungkook murmured, his voice a gravelly shadow of its former self.
He pulled back just enough to look Taehyung in the eye. The predatory heat had softened into something warmer, a gaze of genuine intrigue and affection.
"I came here to fix a company, and instead, I've found someone who makes me want to burn the whole office down just to spend another hour in this room."
Taehyung let out a soft, watery laugh, his eyes fluttering open. He felt raw, exposed, and utterly cherished. The sight of the scattered files on the floor and the disarray of the mahogany desk; once the symbol of his professional anxiety, now seemed like a distant, irrelevant memory. He shifted slightly, the remaining slickness between them a warm reminder of the claim Jungkook had just made. "You're the one who told me not to be professional," Taehyung whispered, a small, shy smile touching his lips.
Jungkook didn’t move immediately. He lingered, his weight still partially pressing Taehyung into the desk, savoring the heavy, post-coital silence that felt far more intimate than the act itself. The Alpha’s hand shifted from Taehyung’s hip to his cheek, his thumb tracing the line of the Omega’s jaw with a tenderness that felt almost startling after the raw intensity of the last hour. For a moment, the corporate world outside the deadlines, the hierarchy and the thousand-page reports felt like a ghost story, something that happened to other people in another life.
"You're a dangerous thing, Taehyung," Jungkook murmured, his voice regaining a bit of its smooth, mahogany depth, though it was still roughened by the remnants of his release.
He leaned in, pressing a slow, lingering kiss to the corner of Taehyung’s mouth.
"I’m supposed to be the one in control of the room. Yet here I am, completely undone by a man who can barely deliver a file without trembling."
Taehyung leaned into the touch, his heart still drumming a slower, more contented rhythm. He felt a warm, golden glow spreading through his chest, a biological satisfaction that went beyond the physical.
"I think," Taehyung whispered, his voice still a bit raspy, "that the restructuring of the company can wait until tomorrow."
Jungkook let out a low, genuine chuckle, the sound vibrating against Taehyung’s skin. He finally stepped back, though he didn't let go of Taehyung's hand. As the physical connection broke, the reality of their surroundings rushed back in-- the sight of the scattered documents, the slightly askew desk chair, and the lingering, heavy scent of their combined pheromones saturating the air. Jungkook looked around the room with a critical eye, then back at Taehyung, a smirk playing on his lips.
"We really should probably address the state of my desk," Jungkook remarked, though he made no move to help.
He stood there for a moment, watching Taehyung navigate the awkward transition from the height of passion back to the reality of a corporate office. His gaze was appreciative, lingering on the way Taehyung’s shirt was half-untucked and his cheeks remained a deep, blooming crimson. There was a newfound softness in the Alpha’s eyes, a quiet possessiveness that hadn't been there during their first encounter in the elevator.
Taehyung felt a sudden, sharp spike of modesty. He scrambled to adjust his trousers, his fingers fumbling with the button as he tried to ignore the lingering slickness between his thighs. The silence of the office felt louder now, the distant hum of the ventilation system reminding him that they were only a few thin walls away from a dozen colleagues who had no idea their junior assistant had just been thoroughly claimed on a mahogany surface.
"I... I can help pick up the papers," Taehyung stammered, his voice still airy and fragile.
Jungkook stepped forward, his hand catching Taehyung’s wrist before the Omega could dive for the floor. He pulled him back in, not for another kiss, but to tuck a stray lock of hair behind Taehyung's ear. The gesture was so domestic, so unexpectedly tender, that it made Taehyung’s breath hitch.
"The papers don't matter," Jungkook murmured.
"None of the paperwork in this building matters as much as the fact that you’re still shaking."
He reached down, picking up a single fallen folder with a casual flick of his wrist and tossing it back onto the desk without looking. The Alpha's focus remained entirely on Taehyung, his presence still commanding, yet shifted from a predator to a protector. He looked at the door, then back to the Omega, a thoughtful expression crossing his face.
"I have a meeting with the board in twenty minutes. But I find myself suddenly disinterested in the agenda."
04
Taehyung froze, his heart skipping a beat. The board meeting was the cornerstone of Jungkook’s visit; it was the high-stakes summit where the Alpha’s strategic brilliance would be on full display. To skip it was unthinkable for a man of his reputation.
"You can't just... skip the board," Taehyung whispered, his voice still sounding small and breathless. "They're expecting you. Your reputation is--"
"My reputation is that I get results," Jungkook interrupted, his voice returning to that smooth, authoritative hum, though his eyes remained soft.
He didn't let go of Taehyung's wrist; instead, he slid his hand down to lace their fingers together, a public act of intimacy in the privacy of the locked room.
"And right now, my result is that I've discovered the most distracting person in this entire building. The board can wait fifteen minutes while I ensure my assistant is composed."
He guided Taehyung toward the small, private lounge area of the office, away from the desk and the wreckage of the paperwork. With a gentle but firm hand, Jungkook steered him toward a plush leather chair, pressing him back into the cushions. The Alpha didn't leave him; he knelt between Taehyung's legs, not to resume their passion, but to carefully straighten the Omega's rumpled clothing. The sight of this powerful, late-thirties Alpha(a man who commanded rooms with a single glance) meticulously tucking Taehyung's shirt back into his trousers was almost more overwhelming than the sex had been.
"You're glowing," Jungkook noted, his gaze traveling up to Taehyung's face.
The Alpha's thumb traced the line of Taehyung's jaw, wiping away a stray smudge of sweat with a tenderness that made Taehyung's throat ache.
"The scent of our bond is all over you. Even with a shower, you'll smell like me for days."
He leaned in, his nose brushing against Taehyung's scent gland one last time, a lingering, possessive inhale that signaled the Alpha was marking his territory even in the absence of a bite.
Taehyung leaned his head back against the leather, a soft, dazed sigh escaping him. The reality of the situation was starting to settle in; the high of the climax was receding, replaced by a warm, heavy languor that made his limbs feel like lead. He watched Jungkook through hooded eyes, marveling at the transition. The Alpha was already shifting back into his professional skin, his posture straightening, his focus sharpening. Yet, the way he looked at Taehyung with a raw, unguarded fondness betrayed the fact that the corporate mask wasn't fully seated.
"Do you think they can tell?" Taehyung whispered, his voice barely audible over the hum of the air conditioning.
He felt a sudden, acute awareness of his own scent, which was now a chaotic, sweet blend of his own vanilla and Jungkook’s deep cedar.
"The people outside... if I walk out there, will they know what happened?"
Almost everyone could tell that Taehyung and Jungkook had fucked. Their pheromones were all over each other, Taehyung was glowing like a full moon and Jungkook couldn't keep his eyes off Taehyung. Plus, Taehyung hadn't been very keen on being silent while Jungkook was fucking him(he cried out and moaned for him with reckless abandon) so yes, they could tell.
Jungkook paused, his hand lingering on Taehyung’s knee. He let out a low, thoughtful hum, his eyes scanning Taehyung’s flushed face and swollen lips.
"Probably," he admitted, a ghost of a smirk appearing.
"But they won't know the details. They'll just know that you've been in here with me for an hour and that you look like you've seen a miracle. Let them wonder. It adds to the mystery of the consultant."
The Alpha stood up, the sudden movement drawing Taehyung's gaze to the breadth of his shoulders and the sheer presence he commanded. He reached for his suit jacket, sliding it on with a practiced ease that felt jarringly normal after the chaos of the last hour. But as he buttoned the jacket, he didn't step away. He leaned down, capturing Taehyung’s mouth in one last, slow kiss; one that didn't taste of hunger, but of a promise. It was a gentle, grounding contact that anchored Taehyung back to the earth.
"Stay here for ten minutes after I leave," Jungkook commanded softly, his voice regaining that velvet authority.
"Go to the restroom, splash some water on your face, and let your breathing steady. If you walk out immediately after me, the pheromones will be a neon sign pointing straight to this desk."
He paused, his gaze lingering on Taehyung's dazed expression.
"I'll send for you once the board meeting is underway. I want you by my side during the presentation, but not before you've had a moment to remember how to be a professional."
Taehyung nodded, his heart fluttering at the thought of being summoned back. He watched as Jungkook walked toward the door, the Alpha's stride returning to its confident, predatory grace. Just before he turned the handle, Jungkook stopped and looked back over his shoulder.
"And Taehyung? Try not to look too pleased with yourself. It'll only make me want to lock the door again."
With a final, knowing wink, the Alpha stepped out into the hallway, the heavy click of the lock echoing in the sudden silence of the room.
The moment the door closed, the adrenaline that had been sustaining Taehyung vanished, leaving him limp against the leather chair. He sat there for a long minute, the silence of the office feeling heavy and surreal. He looked at the mahogany desk-- the scattered papers and the slight indentation in the wood where he had been pressed down and felt a rush of heat return to his cheeks. He was a junior administrator, a man whose primary job was to be invisible and efficient, yet he had just been completely dismantled by the most powerful man in the building. The sheer audacity of it made him let out a shaky, breathless laugh.
Following Jungkook's instructions, Taehyung stood up on trembling legs and made his way to the executive restroom. The cool tiles of the bathroom felt grounding under his feet. He leaned over the sink, splashing cold water onto his face and scrubbing at the flushed skin of his neck. However, as he looked in the mirror, he realized the Alpha was right; he didn't just look different-- he smelled different. The scent of cedar was woven into his skin, a thick, possessive musk that seemed to radiate from his very pores. No amount of water could wash away the biological evidence of what had happened.
Taehyung spent the next ten minutes staring at his reflection, trying to breathe in a way that didn't feel like his lungs were still vibrating with Jungkook's voice. Every time he closed his eyes, he could feel the phantom pressure of those heavy hands on his hips, a ghostly echo of the way he had been pinned to the mahogany. He smoothed his hair and adjusted his collar, but the mirror didn't lie; his eyes were wide and shimmering, the pupils still slightly blown, giving him the look of someone who had just survived a beautiful wreck.
When he finally stepped back into the main office corridor, the atmosphere felt different. The fluorescent lights seemed too bright, the frantic clicking of keyboards too loud. He kept his head down, avoiding the gaze of the other staff, but as he passed the breakroom, he caught the sharp, judgmental look of a senior manager. The woman's nose wrinkled slightly, a subconscious reaction to the sheer potency of the pheromones clinging to him. Taehyung felt a jolt of panic, his heart hammering against his ribs, but he pushed through, retreating to the safety of his own cubicle.
He didn't have time to settle in before his internal phone buzzed. It wasn't a call, but a brief, typed message from Jungkook-ssi:
Conference Room B. Now. Bring the updated projections.
The walk to Conference Room B felt like a march toward a scaffold, or perhaps a throne. As Taehyung pushed open the heavy oak doors, the room fell silent. The board members; a collection of silver-haired Alphas and Betas in charcoal suits, were already seated, their expressions stern and expectant. Jungkook was standing at the head of the table, the image of corporate perfection. He was leaning over a series of slides, his voice steady and authoritative, dissecting the company's failures with a surgical precision that made the executives lean in.
Taehyung stepped into the room, the weight of the projections folder heavy in his hand. As he approached the table, the shift in the atmosphere was instantaneous. He could feel the Alphas in the room stiffen, their nostrils flaring as the scent of a claimed Omega (saturated with the musk of a dominant Alpha) wafted toward them. It was a biological announcement, a loud, invisible claim that made the board members exchange confused, sidelong glances. Taehyung’s face heated, but as he reached the head of the table, he felt a steadying presence.
Jungkook didn't look at him immediately, continuing his critique of the third-quarter losses without missing a beat. However, as Taehyung set the folder down on the table, Jungkook’s hand reached out. It was a brief, almost imperceptible movement, his fingers grazing Taehyung’s wrist for a mere second, but the contact was like an electric shock. It was a grounding touch, a silent reminder that while the room was full of power, the only power that mattered was the one currently humming between them.
"Thank you, Taehyung," Jungkook said, his voice a low, resonant thrum that seemed to vibrate specifically for the Omega.
He didn't look up, but the subtle curve of his lips suggested he was enjoying the tension in the room. He took the folder and began flipping through the pages, his posture commanding and absolute. The board members were momentarily distracted by the sheer potency of the pheromones clinging to the junior assistant, but Jungkook’s professional aura was so overwhelming that he managed to pull their focus back to the data before any questions could be asked.
Throughout the presentation, Taehyung stood just a step behind Jungkook's shoulder, playing the role of the dutiful assistant. Yet, the proximity was a form of torture. He could smell the cedar scent emanating from the Alpha's skin, a warm, enveloping cloud that made his knees feel weak. Every time Jungkook shifted his weight or gestured with a hand, the slight movement of his suit jacket released a fresh burst of his scent, pulling Taehyung back into the memory of the mahogany desk. He found himself staring at the back of Jungkook's neck, imagining the way those broad shoulders had felt beneath his fingernails only an hour prior.
As the meeting progressed, the air in the boardroom grew thick, not just with the tension of a corporate overhaul, but with a mounting biological pressure. Jungkook was in his element, his voice a steady, commanding anchor that steered the board through a sea of red ink and restructuring plans. Yet, Taehyung could tell the Alpha was barely focusing on the numbers. Every time Jungkook paused for a breath or shifted his stance, his shoulders would subtly roll back, his presence expanding to shield Taehyung from the curious, scrutinizing gazes of the other Alphas in the room. It was a protective instinct, raw and possessive, manifesting even beneath the veneer of a high-level consultation.
Taehyung felt a sudden, sharp prickle of heat bloom in his center. The lingering effects of the knot and the intoxicating proximity to Jungkook’s scent were triggering a second, smaller wave of arousal. He shifted his weight, his thighs rubbing together, and a soft, involuntary sound escaped his throat-- a tiny, needy whimper that was drowned out by the board chairman’s questioning, but not by Jungkook. The Alpha’s head tilted a fraction of an inch, his eyes flicking sideways to capture Taehyung’s gaze. The look was predatory, a dark flash of hunger that promised the boardroom was merely a temporary obstacle.
"If there are no further questions regarding the projection shifts," Jungkook announced, his voice dropping an octave, "we can conclude the session. My assistant will coordinate the follow-up meetings with your respective secretaries."
He didn't wait for the board to stand; he simply closed the folder with a decisive snap that sounded like a gunshot in the quiet room.
The exodus was swift, the board members filing out with a mix of lingering curiosity and professional haste. They cast fleeting, puzzled glances at Taehyung-- the junior administrator who seemed to be vibrating in place, his scent an oppressive, sweet cloud of submission that didn't quite fit the sterile environment of a boardroom. Jungkook didn't acknowledge them; he remained at the head of the table, his presence acting as a physical barrier between Taehyung and the rest of the world.
The heavy oak doors clicked shut, leaving the two of them in a sudden, ringing silence. The shift was instantaneous. The professional mask Jungkook had worn for the last hour didn't just slip; it vanished. He turned toward Taehyung, his eyes darkening with a raw, unchecked hunger that made the Omega’s breath hitch. Without a word, the Alpha crossed the distance in three predatory strides, his hand finding the small of Taehyung’s back and pulling him flush against his chest.
"You were shaking the entire time," Jungkook murmured, his voice a low, gravelly rumble against Taehyung’s ear.
He inhaled deeply, his nose dragging along the curve of Taehyung’s jaw, savoring the scent that had been teasing him through the meeting.
"I could smell you from across the table. You were practically begging for me to end the meeting and take you back to that office."
Taehyung let out a broken sound, his forehead resting against Jungkook’s shoulder. The restraint of the last hour had been an agony, and the sudden release of it felt like a physical blow. He gripped the lapels of Jungkook's suit, his fingers trembling.
"I couldn't stop thinking about it," he whispered, his voice small and needy.
"Every time you spoke... every time you looked at the board... I just wanted you to touch me again."
05
Jungkook let out a low, possessive growl that vibrated through Taehyung’s entire frame. He didn't waste time with words; he swept Taehyung’s legs out from under him, hoisting him up onto the massive, polished mahogany boardroom table in one fluid, dominant motion. The sound of Taehyung’s dress shoes scuffing against the wood echoed in the empty room, a sharp contrast to the stifling professional silence that had reigned there only moments before.
"The board is still in the hallway," Taehyung gasped, his back arching as Jungkook’s hands slid up under his thighs, pulling him flush against the Alpha's hardness.
The danger of discovery only heightened the electricity between them, turning the sterile corporate space into a sanctuary of raw desire.
Jungkook’s eyes were dark, the pupils blown wide until the iris was barely a sliver of gold. He didn't care about the proximity of the board members or the risk of a stray footstep in the corridor. He captured Taehyung’s mouth in a kiss that tasted of desperation and power, his tongue sweeping through the Omega’s mouth with a possessive hunger that left Taehyung lightheaded. One hand stayed locked on Taehyung’s thigh, the grip bruising and certain, while the other slid upward, fingers digging into the soft flesh of his waist, anchoring him to the table.
The friction of their suits; the expensive wool of Jungkook’s charcoal trousers against the thin fabric of Taehyung’s slacks, wasn't enough. With a guttural groan, Jungkook reached for the buckle of Taehyung’s belt, the metallic click sounding like a starting gun in the quiet room. He didn't strip him bare, but he did enough to find the slick, aching center of the Omega. The moment his fingers made contact with the drenched heat of Taehyung’s entrance, a loud, unrestrained cry broke from the Omega's lips, his head hitting the mahogany with a dull thud. Jungkook worked him with a rhythmic, demanding precision, driving Taehyung toward a second, sharper peak that left him sobbing into the Alpha's shoulder, his body shuddering under the intensity of a release that felt like an electric current.
As the waves of pleasure finally subsided, Jungkook didn't pull away immediately. He rested his forehead against Taehyung’s, their breaths mingling in a heavy, humid cloud. He let the silence settle, the Alpha's scent of cedar now dominant and protective, wrapping around Taehyung like a heavy blanket. Slowly, with a lingering tenderness that contrasted the raw intensity of the last few minutes, Jungkook helped Taehyung adjust his clothing, his movements methodical and calm. The predator had retreated, leaving behind the strategist.
"We can't do this here," Jungkook murmured, though the smirk on his lips suggested he had enjoyed every second of the risk.
He stepped back, smoothing the front of his own blazer, his expression shifting back into that of the untouchable corporate titan.
"If we keep this up, we won't make it to the end of the week without a scandal that would make the quarterly losses look like a rounding error."
The lingering heat between them didn't vanish, but it shifted, transforming from a frantic, skin-hungry need into a heavy, humming tension that felt far more dangerous.
Jungkook stepped back, the distance between them feeling like a physical void, though the scent of their collision still saturated the air of the boardroom. He didn't look away, his gaze lingering on the way Taehyung’s chest heaved under his dress shirt, the Omega’s eyes still wide and hazy with the remnants of pleasure. The silence that followed was thick, punctuated only by the distant, muffled sound of the board members dispersing in the hallway.
"Get your things, Taehyung," Jungkook commanded, his voice returning to that velvet, professional clip, though his eyes remained dark.
"And don't look at me like that. We have a schedule to maintain."
Taehyung slid off the table, his legs feeling like gelatin. He gathered the projections folder with shaking hands, his mind racing. For the first time since the encounter in the office, he felt a flicker of anxiety. The biological bond was screaming for more, but the corporate reality was beginning to claw its way back. As he followed Jungkook out of the boardroom, he noticed the way the other executives were lingering by the water cooler, their eyes darting toward the pair of them. The scent of a claimed Omega was an open book, and the corporate hierarchy was starting to read every line.
The next three days were a grueling exercise in restraint. Jungkook became a ghost of a man, existing in two different dimensions. In the presence of the staff, he was the ice-cold consultant, his critiques sharp and his demands exacting. He treated Taehyung with a professional distance that bordered on the cruel, never touching him, barely looking at him. But in the brief moments when the door clicked shut; to hand over a file or to discuss a memo, the mask would crack. A hand would brush a hip; a voice would drop an octave; a gaze would linger on Taehyung’s lips with a hunger that made the Omega’s toes curl in his shoes.
The tension reached a breaking point on Thursday afternoon, manifesting as a suffocating heat that had nothing to do with the office thermostat. Taehyung was standing by the filing cabinet, his fingers trembling as he organized the final set of audit reports, when he felt the sudden, heavy pressure of a body pinning him against the cold metal. Jungkook didn't say a word; he simply bridged the gap, his scent of cedar exploding around Taehyung like a physical blow. The Alpha's hand slid beneath Taehyung’s shirt, palms hot against the small of his back, while the other gripped his jaw, tilting his head back to expose the pulsing vein of his throat.
For a few frantic minutes, the corporate world vanished. There were no reports, no board members, and no hierarchies-- only the wet, desperate sound of their mouths colliding and the rhythmic thud of the filing cabinet rattling behind them. Jungkook’s touch was possessive, almost territorial, as if he were trying to imprint his existence into Taehyung’s very skin.
The air became thick with the scent of vanilla and musk, a biological storm that threatened to drown them both. But just as Taehyung’s fingers curled into the fabric of Jungkook's expensive blazer, pulling him closer for a depth that would have rendered them both immobile for an hour, Jungkook abruptly stopped. He tore himself away, his chest heaving, his eyes flashing with a mixture of desire and a sudden, sharp clarity.
"Enough," Jungkook rasped, his voice a ruined shadow of its professional self.
He stepped back, the distance feeling like a sudden drop in temperature. He didn't look at Taehyung with hunger now, but with a focused, calculating intensity.
"We can't keep doing this because I’m going to lose my focus and you’re going to stop being an asset and start being a liability. We are crossing a line that cannot be uncrossed, Taehyung, and I need you to understand the stakes.
Taehyung blinked, his breath still coming in shallow hitches. He felt the sudden shift in the Alpha's energy-- the predator had been shelved, replaced by the man who had been hired to save a failing company. The realization hit him that while the physical connection was instinctive and raw, the corporate environment was a minefield. One wrong move, one leaked rumor about the "consultant and his pet assistant," and Taehyung’s burgeoning career would be incinerated before it even truly began.
Taehyung stared at Jungkook, the silence of the archives ringing in his ears. The Alpha’s words were a bucket of ice water over the fever of their last few days, a reminder that Jungkook lived in a world of risk assessments and strategic pivots. For a moment, the distance between them felt like a canyon. Taehyung’s heart sank, the gold of the bond feeling brittle. He wondered if he had pushed too far, if his puppy-like desperation had finally become a nuisance to a man who valued precision above all else.
"I understand," Taehyung whispered, his voice sounding hollow.
He stepped back, carefully avoiding the heat radiating from Jungkook’s body, and began to organize the files with a meticulousness that felt like a performance.
"The stakes are clear. I'll... I'll be more mindful of the boundaries, Mr. Jeon."
The use of the formal title was a mistake. It was a jagged piece of glass between them. Jungkook stiffened, his shoulders squaring as he looked at the Omega. The professional mask was back, but it was slipping; his nostrils flared as he inhaled the scent of Taehyung’s sudden sadness, a sour note of disappointment cutting through the vanilla. The Alpha’s jaw tightened, his fingers curling into fists at his sides. He looked like a man fighting a war against his own instincts.
"Don't do that," Jungkook commanded, his voice a low rumble.
He didn't move toward him, but the intensity of his gaze was enough to pin Taehyung to the spot.
"Don't suddenly become the perfect, distant employee. It’s an insult to both of us."
Jungkook stepped forward, closing the gap he had just created with a sudden, decisive movement. He didn't touch Taehyung this time, but he leaned in until their foreheads brushed, his heat radiating through the thin fabric of their professional attire. The air between them vibrated with an unspoken tension, a heavy current of biological need clashing with the cold requirements of their corporate surroundings.
"The 'boundaries' are for the people outside that door," Jungkook murmured, his voice regaining that gravelly, intimate depth.
"In here, the only boundary is how much of you I can claim before I lose my mind. Do you understand the difference?"
Taehyung let out a shaky breath, his resolve crumbling instantly. He leaned into the Alpha’s warmth, his eyes fluttering shut as the scent of cedar enveloped him once more.
"I just don't want to be a distraction," Taehyung whispered, his voice small and vulnerable.
"I want to be someone you're proud to have by your side, not just someone you want in a dark room."
Jungkook’s hand finally moved, sliding around the back of Taehyung’s neck to pull him firmly against his chest. He let out a low, rumbling chuckle-- a sound of genuine affection that made Taehyung’s heart swell.
"You naive little thing," Jungkook breathed, his lips brushing against Taehyung’s temple.
"You think the passion is the distraction? The distraction is trying to pretend I’m not thinking about the way you taste while I’m explaining the quarterly projections to a room full of fifty-year-old executives."
The silence of the archives was shattered by the sudden, sharp ring of the office intercom, a jarring electronic screech that forced them apart. Jungkook didn't move away quickly; he lingered for a second longer than necessary, his thumb grazing the sensitive skin of Taehyung’s nape in a slow, deliberate caress that felt like a signature.
"Mr. Jeon, the CEO is requesting your final sign-off on the restructuring map in the lobby," the secretary’s voice crackled through the speaker, oblivious to the biological war being waged a few yards away.
Jungkook pulled back, his expression shifting with a speed that was almost frightening. The raw, hungry Alpha vanished, and in his place stood the corporate predator, polished and impenetrable. He stepped back, adjusting his cufflinks with a precision that mirrored his mental state.
"Ten minutes," he murmured, his voice now a smooth, professional velvet. "Finish the filing, Taehyung. I expect the reports on my desk by five."
Taehyung watched him walk away, the rhythmic click of Jungkook's oxfords echoing like a countdown. The Omega felt a strange, fluttering mixture of frustration and adoration. He was playing a game of high-stakes hide-and-seek with a man who could buy and sell the very room they were standing in, and the thrill of it was almost as addictive as the physical claim. As the door closed behind Jungkook, Taehyung leaned back against the filing cabinet, sliding down until he hit the floor with a soft thud, his chest heaving. He could still smell the cedar, a lingering ghost of the Alpha's presence that made his inner omega whine for more.
06
The following Monday arrived with a stifling humidity that made the corporate air conditioning feel like a failing luxury. Taehyung spent the morning in a state of high-alert agitation, his skin humming with a restlessness he couldn't name.
The "boundaries" Jungkook had insisted upon were being maintained with a discipline that felt almost sadistic. They had barely spoken since Friday, save for a few clipped exchanges about deadlines and deliverables, yet the air between them had become a living thing-- thick, electric, and heavy with the scent of an unresolved promise.
Taehyung was halfway through a stack of invoices when Jungkook entered the bullpen. The Alpha didn't stop at his designated temporary office; instead, he circled the cubicles like a shark in a charcoal suit, his presence shifting the atmospheric pressure of the entire floor.
Every employee instinctively straightened their posture, the collective scent of nervous Betas filling the air. Jungkook stopped behind Taehyung’s chair, not touching him, but leaning in just enough that the warmth of his chest radiated through the back of Taehyung's shirt.
"The revised budget for the logistics arm," Jungkook murmured, his voice a low vibration that seemed to settle directly in Taehyung’s lower belly.
"My desk. Now."
Taehyung scrambled to gather the papers, his fingers clumsy. As he stood up and turned, he found himself boxed in. Jungkook hadn't moved back; he was standing far too close, his thighs brushing against Taehyung’s as they stood in the narrow aisle. The Alpha’s eyes were dark, scanning Taehyung’s face with a slow, possessive intensity that made the Omega feel stripped bare in front of the entire department. There was no professional distance left in that gaze; only a raw, starving hunger that contradicted the coldness of his tone.
Taehyung’s breath hitched, the folder in his hand crinkling under the sudden pressure of his grip. The bullpen was a hive of activity-- phones ringing, printers churning out reports and the low hum of corporate gossip, yet he felt as though they were encased in a vacuum. The only thing that existed was the scent of cedar and the oppressive, magnetic pull of Jungkook’s presence. He could see a few coworkers stealing glances, their expressions a mix of confusion and suspicion, but Jungkook didn't even blink.
He was marking his territory without saying a word, his pheromones flaring in a silent, dominant roar that told everyone in the room exactly who Taehyung belonged to.
"The... the budget, sir," Taehyung stammered, his voice barely a whisper.
He tried to lift the folder to hand it over, but Jungkook’s hand shot out, gripping Taehyung’s wrist. The contact was searing, a sudden jolt of electricity that made Taehyung’s knees buckle. Jungkook didn't pull him closer; he simply held him there, his thumb pressing firmly into the pulse point of Taehyung’s wrist, feeling the frantic, drumming beat of the Omega’s heart.
"My office," Jungkook commanded, the words barely a breath against Taehyung’s cheek.
"Now."
The walk to the temporary executive office felt like a blur. Taehyung followed the Alpha's broad shoulders, his eyes fixed on the slight sway of Jungkook's hips, his mind racing with a mix of terror and anticipation. The moment the heavy door clicked shut behind them, the corporate facade disintegrated. Jungkook didn't wait for Taehyung to set the folder down; he spun the Omega around and slammed him back against the door, the impact sending a jolt of adrenaline through Taehyung’s system.
Jungkook’s mouth crashed into his with a desperation that felt like a starvation. This wasn't the controlled, strategic passion of the boardroom or the frantic secrecy of the archives; this was a collision. Jungkook’s hands found Taehyung’s hair, fingers digging into the soft locks to tilt his head back and deepen the kiss until Taehyung was gasping, his lungs struggling to keep up with the sudden vacuum of air. The folder containing the logistics budget slid from Taehyung’s nerveless fingers, the papers scattering across the carpet like fallen confetti, but neither of them noticed.
"You've been driving me insane," Jungkook groaned against his lips, the sound vibrating through Taehyung’s chest.
"Three days of playing the professional. Three days of watching you walk across the room and pretending I didn't want to rip those clothes off you in front of everyone."
Taehyung let out a strangled whimper, his arms winding tightly around Jungkook’s neck, pulling him as close as physically possible. He could feel the hard line of Jungkook's thighs pressing into his own, the Alpha's scent now a thick, suffocating cloud of cedar and dominance that clouded his judgment and melted his resolve. The corporate hierarchy had completely dissolved, leaving behind only the primal truth of their bond. Taehyung arched his back, pressing his center into the Alpha, a silent, needy plea for the friction to become something more.
Jungkook’s response was a low, territorial growl that vibrated in the hollow of Taehyung's throat. He shifted his weight, lifting Taehyung up and pinning him against the door with a force that left the Omega breathless. One of Jungkook's hands slid down, gripping Taehyung's thigh and hoisting it up to hook around his waist, pulling him flush against the heat of the Alpha's hardness. The friction of their trousers was an agony of anticipation, a tease that pushed Taehyung toward a breaking point.
Jungkook’s other hand found the hem of Taehyung’s dress shirt, tugging it upward with a rough urgency that left the Omega’s pale skin exposed to the cool office air. The contrast was electric-- the chilled atmosphere of the room clashing with the searing heat of Jungkook’s palms as they slid upward, mapping the curve of Taehyung’s ribs. Jungkook stopped just shy of the chest, his fingers digging into the soft flesh of Taehyung's waist, anchoring him there as if he were afraid the Omega might dissolve if the grip loosened.
"Do you have any idea," Jungkook rasped, his lips migrating to the sensitive junction of Taehyung’s neck and shoulder, "how loud your scent has been all morning? You’re practically screaming for me, Taehyung. Every person on that floor can smell the way you’re aching."
Taehyung’s head fell back against the door, a broken moan escaping him. He didn't care about the coworkers or the risk of discovery; the biological pull was a tide, and he was drowning in it. He tightened his hold on the Alpha, his fingers tangling in the short, dark hair at the nape of Jungkook’s neck.
"Then stop talking," Taehyung pleaded, his voice a fragile thread of need. "Please, Alpha. Just... please."
The plea was the catalyst. Jungkook shifted, his movements precise and powerful, and in one fluid motion, he pivoted Taehyung, pressing the Omega’s chest against the cold wood of the door and hooking his leg high. With a sharp, decisive movement, Jungkook’s hand reached down to undo the button of Taehyung’s trousers. The metallic slide of the zipper was a loud, violent sound in the quiet office.
Taehyung’s breath hitched as the cool air hit his skin, but the sensation was immediately eclipsed by the searing heat of Jungkook’s palm cupping him. The Alpha didn't hesitate, his fingers sliding past the silk of Taehyung's underwear to find the slick, swollen folds of the Taehyung's cunt. A loud, unrestrained cry tore from Taehyung’s throat, his forehead pressing hard against the door as he felt the first thick finger slide inside him. It was a slow, deliberate invasion, a claim of territory that left Taehyung shaking, his muscles clamping tight around the intrusion.
"So wet," Jungkook murmured, his voice a dark, ruined thing.
He didn't stop at one finger; he added a second, stretching Taehyung with a rhythmic, demanding pressure that drove the Omega's hips back into him.
"You've been waiting for this all morning, haven't you? Every time I looked at you across the bullpen, you were just imagining this."
Taehyung couldn't answer; he was too busy trying to keep his balance, his fingers clawing at the wood of the door. The friction of Jungkook’s thumb rubbing against his clit sent sparks of pleasure radiating through his entire lower body, triggering a wave of arousal that made his vision blur. He was a mess of biological need, his scent of vanilla turning thick and syrupy, filling the small office until it was an oppressive, intoxicating fog.
Jungkook’s growl was low and possessive, vibrating through Taehyung’s spine. The Alpha shifted, his own hardness pressing heavily against the curve of Taehyung's backside. Without a word, Jungkook reached for his own belt, the leather snapping with a sharp, authoritative sound. He didn't bother with finesse, stripping himself free with a focused intensity that mirrored his approach to a corporate takeover.
The first slide of Jungkook’s length into Taehyung’s heat was less of an entry and more of a conquest. Taehyung’s breath left him in a sharp, jagged gasp, his fingers digging into the grain of the door as he was filled completely. The size of the Alpha was a constant, overwhelming presence, stretching him to a point of delicious agony that made his toes curl against the carpet. Jungkook didn't give him time to adjust, immediately driving forward with a powerful, rhythmic force that slammed Taehyung’s hips against the wood in a series of wet, slapping sounds.
The boardroom and the archives had been about discovery and tension; this was about reclamation. Jungkook’s movements were relentless, his body a piston of muscle and heat that drove Taehyung higher and higher. Every thrust was accompanied by a low, guttural sound from the Alpha’s throat, a sound of raw satisfaction as he felt the Omega’s tight walls clamping around him, desperate to hold onto every inch of him.
Taehyung’s world narrowed down to the sensation of Jungkook’s chest heaving against his back and the intoxicating scent of cedar that seemed to be soaking into his very pores. He felt the Alpha’s hand move from his waist to his throat, not to choke, but to anchor him, the thumb pressing firmly against his jaw to keep him tilted back.
"Tell me," Jungkook rasped, his voice a ruined shadow of its professional self, "who do you belong to, Taehyung? Who owns every single breath you take in this building?"
"You," Taehyung sobbed, the word breaking under the weight of a pleasure that felt like it was splitting him open. "Yours... I'm yours, Daddy. Please, more... please!"
The plea was answered with a brutal, focused intensity. Jungkook’s grip on Taehyung’s jaw tightened, his fingers bruising the soft skin as he drove deeper, his length hitting the sensitive peak of Taehyung’s cervix with a rhythmic, punishing precision. The Omega’s voice climbed in pitch, a series of high, needy keens that echoed off the office walls, completely oblivious to the fact that their colleagues were just a few yards away, separated by a thin slab of drywall and a closed door. The biological claim was no longer a secret shared in shadows; it was a violent, humming frequency that vibrated through both of them.
Jungkook’s breath was a ragged snarl in Taehyung’s ear, his movements becoming faster, more frantic. He wasn't just taking; he was pouring himself into Taehyung, his pheromones flaring in a dominant surge that felt like a physical weight pressing the Omega into the wood. The friction was white-hot, a searing current of electricity that culminated in a sudden, blinding explosion of release. Taehyung’s internal muscles clamped down in a series of rhythmic spasms, drawing Jungkook deeper as the Alpha let out a guttural roar, his body stiffening as he filled Taehyung with a hot, pulsing torrent of come.
For a long minute, neither of them moved. The only sound in the room was the frantic, synchronized thudding of two hearts and the wet, sliding sound of their bodies slowly disconnecting. Jungkook didn't pull away immediately; he rested his forehead against the back of Taehyung's neck, his chest heaving, his scent shifting from the aggressive edge of the hunt to a warm, protective blanket of cedar and satisfaction.
The silence that followed was heavy, saturated with the smell of spent adrenaline and the cloying sweetness of an Omega’s submission. Jungkook didn't move for a long time, his arms remaining wrapped around Taehyung’s waist, holding him pinned to the door as if he were afraid the corporate world would rush back in the second he let go. The cool air of the office began to seep back into their skin, turning the sweat on their bodies into a chilling reminder of where they were.
Slowly, Jungkook withdrew, the wet sound of their separation echoing in the small room. He didn't immediately step away; instead, he reached down to pull Taehyung’s trousers back up, his movements devoid of the previous urgency. There was a tenderness now, a quiet focus that spoke of the man beneath the suit. He smoothed the fabric over Taehyung’s hips with a lingering touch, his fingers grazing the sensitive skin of the Omega's thigh.
Taehyung leaned his head back against the door, his eyes half-closed and glazed. His legs felt like lead, and his breath was still coming in shallow, uneven hitches. He felt a strange, humming warmth settling in his gut, the biological afterglow of being claimed so thoroughly. He turned his head slightly, glancing at the scattered budget reports on the floor-- the white papers contrasting sharply with the dark charcoal of the carpet. The sight of the discarded documents brought a small, dizzy smile to his lips.
"The budget can wait," Jungkook murmured, his voice regaining that smooth, corporate sheen, though his eyes remained dark with the remnants of the storm.
He didn't just step away; he took a moment to meticulously button Taehyung's trousers, his fingers steady and methodical. He spent a second longer than necessary smoothing the creases of Taehyung's shirt, his touch transitioning from the raw grip of an Alpha to the careful precision of a man protecting something precious. With one final, lingering pat on Taehyung’s cheek, the physical hunger was shelved, locked away in a mental vault alongside the discarded spreadsheets. The heat didn't vanish, but it crystallized into a different kind of energy-- a shared secret that acted as a tether between them in a room full of strangers.
Jungkook stepped back, the distance between them returning like a physical wall. He turned to the scattered papers on the floor and, without a word, bent down to gather them. He didn't just pick them up; he aligned the edges of the pages with an exactingness that bordered on the obsessive, his mind already pivoting back to the logistics of the company's restructuring. As he straightened up, the corporate predator was fully reinstated, his expression impassive, his scent neutral and professional. He handed the stack back to Taehyung with a brief, sharp nod.
"Go back to your desk, Taehyung. Take five minutes to compose yourself. If anyone asks, you were bringing me the reports and the folder slipped."
Taehyung took the papers, his fingers still trembling slightly, feeling the sudden chill of the office air. The transition was jarring-- one moment he was being dismantled by the man he loved, and the next, he was a junior assistant once again. He nodded, his voice still a bit raspy.
"Yes, sir." As he turned to leave, he caught the slight, almost imperceptible quirk of Jungkook’s lip-- a silent acknowledgment that while the professional mask was on, the bond beneath was only growing stronger.
07
The illusion of a return to normalcy lasted exactly forty-eight hours. Taehyung spent Tuesday and Wednesday navigating the office like a ghost, his skin humming with the secret of Jungkook’s seed that had dried into the fabric of his underwear, a phantom warmth that served as a private anchor amidst the sterile gray of the corporate landscape.
He had become an expert at the "professional tilt"-- the specific angle of his head and the flatness of his voice that signaled to the rest of the staff that he was merely an efficient assistant, while his scent, though suppressed, remained a heavy, honeyed invitation that only Jungkook could truly decode.
However, the precarious balance shifted on Thursday during the mid-quarter review. Jungkook hadn't just been hired to restructure the logistics arm; he was there to identify "redundancies," a corporate euphemism for layoffs.
As the meeting progressed in the glass-walled conference room, the atmosphere grew toxic. The regional manager, a Beta named Miller who had spent the last decade climbing the ladder through sycophancy, began to push a narrative that shifted the blame for the falling margins onto the junior support staff.
"It’s a matter of streamlining," Miller droned, pointing a laser pointer at a slide of projected costs.
"If we cut the auxiliary support roles; the assistants and the interns we can offset the overhead of the new software integration. It’s a necessary sacrifice for the health of the firm."
Taehyung, standing at the back of the room with a notepad in hand, felt a cold spike of panic. He wasn't just a name on a spreadsheet to Miller; he was a convenient casualty. He looked at Jungkook, expecting the Alpha to maintain his impartial, consultant mask. But Jungkook wasn't looking at the slides. He was looking at Taehyung, his nostrils flaring as he caught the sudden, sharp scent of fear spiking through the Omega’s vanilla.
The shift in Jungkook was instantaneous. He didn't growl, but the air in the room suddenly felt heavy, the atmospheric pressure dropping as he leaned back in his leather chair and crossed his arms. His gaze slid to Miller, and for the first time, the corporate predator wasn't hunting for a flaw in a budget-- he was protecting his own.
"The support staff isn't the redundancy, Miller. The mismanagement of the support staff is," Jungkook stated, his voice a low, dangerous rumble that cut through Miller’s presentation like a blade.
"If you cut the assistants, you lose the institutional memory and the operational fluidity that keeps this office from collapsing. I find the suggestion not only short-sighted but offensively lazy."
The room went silent. Miller blinked, his mouth hanging open, the laser pointer trembling slightly on the screen. No one spoke to the regional manager that way, let alone a consultant. But Jungkook wasn't finished. He stood up, his presence expanding to fill the room, his scent of cedar flaring with a possessive intensity that made every Alpha in the room instinctively lower their gaze.
"Taehyung is an indispensable asset to this restructuring," Jungkook continued, his voice now a smooth, velvet threat.
"Any attempt to move him or alter his position will be noted in my final report to the board as a failure of leadership at the regional level."
Taehyung felt a surge of warmth that had nothing to do with biology and everything to do with the way Jungkook was looking at him-- not as a pet or a secret, but as someone worth fighting for in the light of day.
The meeting ended abruptly, the executives scurrying out of the room as if fleeing a storm. As the door clicked shut, leaving them alone, the professional distance evaporated. Jungkook didn't move toward him; instead, he watched Taehyung with a gaze that was heavy with an intensity that made the Omega's toes curl.
"You didn't have to do that," Taehyung whispered, though his heart was hammering against his ribs with a thrill of adoration.
"I didn't do it for the company, Taehyung," Jungkook replied, his voice dropping an octave.
He stepped forward, the distance closing in a heartbeat. He didn't touch him, but the heat radiating from the Alpha was a physical force.
"I don't like other people deciding the fate of what belongs to me."
The air between them thickened, the scent of cedar and vanilla colliding in a sudden, electric rush. The victory in the boardroom had acted as a catalyst, shifting their dynamic from a hidden game of risk to a shared front. Jungkook reached out, his thumb grazing the line of Taehyung's jaw, his eyes scanning the Omega's face with a hunger that had been simmering under the surface for days.
"But this isn't enough," Jungkook murmured, his expression hardening into something more strategic, more permanent.
"Miller is a parasite, and he'll try to undermine you the moment I turn my back. If you're just an assistant, you're vulnerable. If you're my partner in this restructure, you're untouchable."
Taehyung blinked, his breath hitching.
"Partner? Jungkook, I'm a junior. I don't have the credentials for--"
"You have my endorsement," Jungkook interrupted, his voice an absolute command.
"And you have a level of insight into this office's failures that none of these suits possess. Tomorrow, you aren't coming into the boardroom to take notes. You're coming in to present the revised operational flow. You’ll be the face of the efficiency shift."
The promotion was a shock, a sudden leap in status that felt like a dizzying ascent. But as the week progressed, the shift in their professional standing began to bleed into their private hours. The secret touches in the hallway became more bold, the lingering glances more frequent. The power dynamic was shifting; Taehyung was no longer just the prey being hunted by a predator, but a counterpart, gaining confidence under Jungkook's relentless mentorship.
However, the shift didn't go unnoticed. Miller, wounded and humiliated by the board meeting, began a quiet campaign of surveillance. He didn't have the scent-sensitivity of an Alpha, but he had the intuition of a man whose career was on the line.
A door clicked shut behind him, and before he could turn, a hand clamped over his mouth, shoving him backward into the darkened alcove of the server room.
It wasn't Jungkook.
The scent was wrong: sour, sharp, and aggressive.
It was one of the junior Alphas from the logistics department, a man named Choi who had always viewed Taehyung as nothing more than a pretty Omega ornament.
He had spent the last few weeks stewing in a cocktail of jealousy and biological frustration, watching the way Jungkook claimed the space around Taehyung.
"The little favorite," Choi sneered, his voice a wet rasp against Taehyung’s ear. He didn't have the polished dominance of Jungkook; his scent was a crude, overwhelming wave of musk designed to intimidate.
"Think you're untouchable because the consultant likes the way you smell? Let's see how much of a 'strategic asset' you are when your Omega is screaming for a real Alpha."
Choi’s hand slid down from Taehyung’s mouth, gripping his waist with a bruising force. He didn't care about professional boundaries or corporate hierarchies; he was operating on a primal level, attempting to mark his own dominance by disrupting the claim Jungkook had spent weeks weaving into Taehyung’s skin. He shoved Taehyung against the cooling vents of the server racks, the metallic hum of the machines drowning out Taehyung’s initial gasp of shock.
Taehyung struggled, his heels skidding on the polished floor.
"Let me go, Choi! This is a workplace-"
"This is a jungle, sweetheart," Choi countered, his eyes clouded with a dull, predatory heat.
He leaned in, his nose pressing into the crook of Taehyung’s neck, intentionally trying to overwrite Jungkook’s cedar with his own pungent musk. The act was a biological insult, a direct challenge to the Alpha who had claimed the Omega. Taehyung felt a surge of disgust, his body recoiling from the crudeness of the touch, but as he fought to push Choi away, the door to the server room didn't just open- it exploded inward.
Jungkook didn't enter the room; he invaded it. The air temperature seemed to plummet as the Alpha stepped into the dim light, his expression a mask of absolute, frozen rage. He didn't say a word, but the sheer volume of his pheromones hit Choi like a physical blow, slamming the smaller Alpha back against the server rack. It wasn't just a protective instinct; it was an execution of power.
"Get. Your. Hands. Off." Jungkook’s voice wasn't a shout; it was a low, vibrating frequency that seemed to rattle the very bones in Choi’s chest.
Choi scrambled backward, his bravado evaporating as he looked into Jungkook’s eyes. The consultant’s gaze was dark, the pupils blown wide, marking the transition from corporate strategist to apex predator. Without breaking eye contact, Jungkook stepped forward and gripped Choi by the collar, lifting the man nearly off his feet. The silence in the room was suffocating, broken only by the hum of the servers and the frantic, ragged breathing of the terrified Alpha.
"You thought you could touch something that belongs to me in my own house?" Jungkook rasped, his grip tightening.
He didn't wait for an answer. With a sharp, decisive movement, he flung Choi toward the door, the man stumbling over his own feet in his rush to escape.
"Get out. If I see you within ten feet of Taehyung for the rest of this contract, I will ensure your professional reputation is erased before you reach the lobby."
As Choi vanished down the hall, the tension in the room didn't dissipate; it shifted. Jungkook turned to Taehyung, the predatory edge softening into a fierce, possessive hunger. He didn't ask if Taehyung was okay; he simply gathered the Omega into his arms, pulling him flush against his chest in a crushing embrace. The scent of cedar flared, thick and enveloping, acting as a biological balm to wash away the lingering traces of Choi's touch.
Taehyung let out a shaky breath, burying his face in the crook of Jungkook's neck.
"I had it under control," he lied, his voice trembling.
Jungkook pulled back just enough to look into Taehyung's eyes, his thumbs sweeping over the Omega's cheekbones with a tenderness that contrasted sharply with the violence of a moment ago.
"You don't have to have everything under control with me, Taehyung. That's the point of being mine."
He paused, his gaze dropping to Taehyung's lips.
"But we can't stay here. Miller is likely waiting for a slip-up, and this server room is too small for what I want to do to you right now."
Instead of returning to the bullpen, Jungkook led Taehyung toward the executive elevators, his hand firmly locked around the Omega's wrist. He didn't stop at the usual floors; he pressed the button for the rooftop garden, a restricted area reserved for the C-suite. The ascent was silent, the air in the elevator thickening with a renewed sense of urgency. The moment the doors slid open to the crisp afternoon air and the panoramic view of the Seoul skyline, the corporate pretense vanished entirely.
Jungkook pinned Taehyung against the glass railing, the wind whipping around them, though neither felt the chill. He didn't waste time with words, his mouth capturing Taehyung's in a kiss that tasted of possessiveness and relief. As they collided, Taehyung felt a slip of paper in Jungkook's pocket- a document he hadn't seen before.
Curiosity flared through the haze of arousal. When Jungkook paused to gasp for air, Taehyung reached down, pulling the paper out. It wasn't a budget report or a restructuring plan. It was a formal offer of partnership- not a corporate one, but a legal contract for a joint venture in a new consulting firm, one where Taehyung was listed as a founding partner.
08
Taehyung stared at the document, the bold lettering of:
"Jeon & Kim Consulting"
blurring as the wind whipped the paper against his chest. It wasn't just a promotion; it was an exit strategy. Jungkook wasn't just protecting his position in a toxic office; he was building a fortress around them where the rules were written by the two of them.
The revelation sent a shock of adrenaline through Taehyung that rivaled the physical heat of their encounter. He looked up at Jungkook, whose eyes were reflecting the slate-grey of the city skyline, seeing not just a boss or a lover, but a man who had meticulously planned a future that included him as an equal.
The following Monday, the corporate facade of the main office felt like a costume that no longer fit. Taehyung spent the morning in a daze, the partnership contract tucked securely in his briefcase, but the memory of Choi’s suffocating grip still left a phantom chill on his skin. He needed a sanctuary, and in the sterile world of high-finance logistics, that sanctuary was Jimin.
Jimin was a Senior Analyst in the marketing wing-- an Omega with a heart of gold and a tongue like a whip who had been Taehyung’s closest confidant since their first year at the firm. He was the only person who could tell Taehyung his tie was crooked without it sounding like a critique, and the only one who could sense the shift in Taehyung’s pheromones before the Omega even spoke.
"You're vibrating," Jimin noted the second Taehyung slid into the booth at their usual dim-lit lunch spot, a hidden gem of a noodle shop three blocks away from the office.
Jimin didn't even look up from his menu, but his eyes were scanning Taehyung’s face with clinical precision.
"Your scent is a chaotic mess of 'I'm terrified' and 'I just won the lottery.' Spill it, Tae. I want all the details. Now."
Taehyung didn't just spill it; he collapsed into the confession, the words tumbling out in a frantic, breathless rush. He leaned across the table, his voice a hushed, urgent whisper that barely carried over the sound of steaming broth and the chatter of the lunch crowd.
He told Jimin everything- the dizzying climb from assistant to strategic lead, the secret, searing encounters in the boardroom, and the way Jungkook’s scent of cedar had become the only thing that could quiet the noise in his head. He described the partnership offer, the gold-embossed dream of 'Jeon & Kim' and the way Jungkook looked at him not as a junior to be managed, but as a partner to be cherished.
But then the tone shifted, the warmth of the romance cooling into the memory of Friday afternoon. Taehyung’s fingers tightened around his chopsticks as he recounted the server room. He described Choi’s sour, aggressive scent and the feeling of being trapped against the cooling vents, the raw terror of a biological threat that had nothing to do with corporate rankings.
He told Jimin how Jungkook had practically demolished the door to get to him, the sheer, terrifying power of the Alpha’s rage acting as a shield that had left Taehyung shaking and breathless.
Jimin’s expression hardened, his usually playful eyes narrowing into slits. The Omega didn't have the predatory pheromones of an Alpha, but he had a protective streak that was just as fierce.
"That spineless piece of trash," Jimin hissed, his voice low and dangerous.
"If I had been there, I would have filed a HR report so detailed it would have made Choi’s ancestors blush. You don't just touch a person like that, especially not one who’s already found their anchor."
He reached across the table, squeezing Taehyung’s hand.
"But Jungkook... god, Tae, I knew he was intense, but this? A partnership? He’s not just claiming you in the bedroom; he’s claiming you in the boardroom."
Taehyung beamed, a genuine, glowing smile that transformed his face, the lingering fear of Choi finally evaporating.
"He wants me as an equal, Jimin. Not just a pretty assistant he can keep in his pocket. He sees me. Really sees me."
The admission made Taehyung feel light, as if he were floating above the grey pavement of the city. For the first time in his professional life, the ambition he felt wasn't a desperate scramble for validation; it was a shared goal, a trajectory he was charting alongside the man he loved.
"Pass the extra kimchi, you're staring at your noodles like they're a divine revelation," Jimin joked, breaking the spell.
Taehyung blinked, shaking off the daydream of a corner office and a shared last name. But the warmth of the moment was sliced through by the sudden, sharp vibration of Taehyung’s phone against the tabletop. It was an email notification from the corporate HR portal, a mass memo marked:
URGENT: Organizational Restructuring Update.
Taehyung’s heart hammered against his ribs. He hadn't expected a public announcement about the 'Strategic Lead' role until the end of the week.
He clicked open the file, expecting a routine update on the efficiency shift. Instead, his eyes scanned a list of immediate terminations. At the very top, listed under 'Immediate Redundancies', was the name: Miller, R., beside it, in a cold, clinical footnote, it mentioned that Miller’s exit was "for cause" following a preliminary internal audit of regional misappropriation of funds. Jungkook hadn't just saved Taehyung’s job; he had spent the weekend digging into Miller's financial records, turning the regional manager's own greed into the weapon that excised him from the company.
"He didn't just fire him," Jimin whispered, leaning in to read the screen. "He annihilated him. He’s clearing the entire path for you, Tae. This is a massacre disguised as a merger."
Taehyung felt a thrill of power, but it was quickly dampened by a second notification.
A private message from Jungkook:
Meet me in the archives. Now. Bring the partnership contract.
The archives were the basement of the building, a cavernous, windowless vault where old physical ledgers were kept, far removed from the prying eyes of the remaining executives. It was the one place in the corporate tower that felt like a sanctuary- or a trap.
When Taehyung descended into the dim, fluorescent hum of the archives, he found Jungkook standing amidst the towering shelves of steel and paper. The Alpha had discarded his suit jacket, his white dress shirt rolled up at the elbows, revealing the strong, corded muscles of his forearms.
He looked less like a consultant and more like a man who had just finished a war. As Taehyung approached, Jungkook didn't greet him with a smile; he gripped Taehyung's waist and hauled him back against a shelf of dusty files, his scent of cedar spiking with a sudden, desperate intensity.
"The board is fighting back," Jungkook murmured against the shell of Taehyung's ear, his voice a low, gravelly warning.
"They don't like how quickly I've dismantled Miller’s circle. They’re trying to freeze my assets and block the new firm's registration. They think they can starve me out if I don't play by their rules."
Taehyung felt a surge of protectiveness, his hands finding the broad expanse of Jungkook's chest.
"What do we do?"
"We don't play by their rules," Jungkook replied, a dangerous glint returning to his eyes.
He reached into a cardboard archive box and pulled out a thick, leather-bound ledger-- one that shouldn't have been in the public records.
"Miller wasn't just misappropriating funds for himself. He was a conduit for a shadow-equity group that's been siphoning millions from the logistics budget for years. I found the paper trail, but it's not enough to just fire him. To protect 'J & K', I need to burn the current bridge entirely."
He pressed the ledger into Taehyung's hands. It wasn't just a set of numbers; it was a roadmap of corporate corruption. Jungkook explained that the board members were all complicit, using the regional office as a laundry for their own private investments. By presenting this to the shareholders (not the board) they wouldn't just be starting a new firm; they would be seizing the ruins of the old one.
Taehyung looked at the ledger, then back at the man who had risked everything to elevate him. The strategic shift was no longer about a promotion or a title; it was a coup.
"You want me to be the one to present this," Taehyung realized, his voice steady. "Because I'm the one they've underestimated. I'm the 'pretty assistant' they think is just a pet."
Jungkook’s gaze softened, a flash of genuine pride illuminating his features. He leaned in, pressing a firm, lingering kiss to Taehyung's forehead.
"That is exactly why you are the most dangerous person in this building, Taehyung."
The plan was set for the final quarterly summit on Friday. The atmosphere in the office for the next few days was electric, a humming tension that felt like the air before a lightning strike. Jungkook remained the poised, impassive consultant, but in the quiet moments-- the brief brushes of shoulders in the hall and the secret presses of fingers beneath the conference table, he was fueling Taehyung’s confidence. He spent hours late at night in the archives, not just reviewing the ledger, but coaching Taehyung on how to deliver the blow, how to use his voice to command a room of Alphas, and how to hold their gaze without blinking.
But as the summit approached, the biological toll of the stress began to mount. The constant proximity to Jungkook, combined with the high-stakes adrenaline of their gamble, sent Taehyung’s system into a tailspin. By Thursday evening, the vanilla scent of his skin had shifted, becoming cloying and heavy; the unmistakable signal of a pre-heat cycle triggered by emotional intensity.
Jungkook noticed it the second Taehyung stepped into his office. The Alpha’s pupils dilated instantly, his scent of cedar spiking into something primal and possessive. He didn't care about the files Taehyung was carrying; he swept them off the desk with a single, violent motion and hauled the Omega into his lap, his hands gripping Taehyung’s thighs with a bruising intensity.
"You're slipping, Taehyung," Jungkook groaned, his voice a low, vibrating rumble against the Omega's throat.
"Your scent is practically screaming for me. How am I supposed to focus on a board meeting when you smell like this?"
Taehyung let out a soft, broken whimper, arching his back as Jungkook’s teeth grazed the sensitive skin of his neck. The corporate war felt miles away, eclipsed by the urgent, humming need for a biological union. Jungkook’s dominance wasn't just a professional mask anymore; it was a physical weight, pressing Taehyung down, claiming every inch of him. For an hour, the office was forgotten, the desk becoming a makeshift altar where they traded breathless gasps and desperate touches, the risk of discovery only adding to the electric heat of the moment.
However, the reprieve was short-lived. As they smoothed their clothes and regained their composure, Jungkook’s expression shifted back to that of the strategist. He didn't just want the board gone; he wanted them to watch as Taehyung took the throne. He spent the remaining hours before the summit not just reviewing the numbers, but refining the optics. He bought Taehyung a suit that cost more than a junior's annual salary-- a sharp, midnight-blue ensemble that clung to his lean frame, making him look less like a protégé and more like a predator in waiting.
Friday morning arrived with a suffocating silence. The boardroom was packed, the air thick with the scent of stale coffee and the arrogant, musk-heavy pheromones of the board members. Miller was gone, but his ghost lingered in the form of the three senior Alphas who still held the purse strings. They looked at Taehyung with a mixture of boredom and contempt, assuming he was merely there to provide the slides for Jungkook’s final report.
"Let's get this over with, Jeon," the senior-most Alpha, Director Park, drawled, leaning back with a smirk.
"The 'Strategic Lead' can start the presentation. We're all very eager to see what our little assistant has learned."
Taehyung didn't flinch. He felt Jungkook’s presence behind him- a solid, unwavering wall of cedar and support. As Taehyung stepped to the front of the room, he didn't open the PowerPoint. Instead, he reached into his briefcase and pulled out the leather-bound ledger, slamming it onto the mahogany table with a sound that echoed like a gunshot. The smirk vanished from Park's face.
"The operational flow isn't the only thing that needs restructuring," Taehyung began, his voice resonant and steady, cutting through the room with a confidence that made several Alphas shift uncomfortably.
He didn't look at the slides; he looked directly into Park's eyes, reading the lines of the ledger with a precision that left no room for argument. He laid out the shadow-equity trail, the misappropriated millions, and the systemic corruption that had turned the regional office into a personal piggy bank for the men sitting around the table.
The room exploded into chaos. Accusations flew, voices rose in a cacophony of panic and rage, but Taehyung remained the eye of the storm. He navigated their interruptions with a surgical coolness, pivoting from financial data to legal liability without missing a beat. By the time he finished, the board wasn't just defeated; they were terrified. They looked at the Omega they had dismissed as an ornament and realized he held the detonator to their entire careers.
As the meeting devolved into a desperate scramble for damage control, Jungkook stepped forward, his arm sliding possessively around Taehyung’s waist, pulling him flush against his side. The gesture was a public declaration-- no longer a secret, no longer a risk.
09
"The board is dissolved," Jungkook announced, his voice cutting through the remaining bickering like a blade.
He didn't wait for a vote; he didn't need one. He had already spent the morning coordinating with the primary shareholders, feeding them the evidence Taehyung had just presented in a polished, undeniable package. The three senior Alphas looked like ghosts of their former selves, their territorial scents turning sour with the sudden realization that they were no longer the hunters, but the prey.
As the room cleared in a frantic rush of panicked whispers and hurried exits, the heavy oak doors clicked shut, leaving only Jungkook and Taehyung in the sudden, ringing silence of the boardroom. The air was still thick with the remnants of the conflict, but the tension had shifted from corporate warfare to something far more intimate.
Taehyung felt the adrenaline begin to ebb, leaving him trembling, his muscles humming with the afterglow of the victory. He leaned back into Jungkook's chest, his breath hitching as he felt the Alpha's heartbeat thudding rhythmically against his shoulder.
"You were magnificent," Jungkook murmured, his voice a low, vibrating purr that sent a shiver down Taehyung's spine.
He didn't let go of Taehyung's waist; instead, he pivoted the Omega around, pressing him back against the massive mahogany table. The polished wood was cool against Taehyung's thighs, a sharp contrast to the heat radiating from Jungkook's body. The Alpha's eyes were dark, focused on Taehyung with a predatory intensity that had nothing to do with business.
Taehyung let out a soft, shaky laugh, his hands coming up to grip the lapels of Jungkook's tailored suit.
"Did we actually do it? Is 'J&K' real now?"
"It's more than real, baby," Jungkook replied, his gaze dropping to the partnership contract that still sat atop the table, now surrounded by the ruins of the board's empire.
"The shareholders have already signed off on the spin-off. By Monday, we move into our own offices. No more hiding in server rooms, no more pretending you're just an assistant. You're a founding partner, Taehyung. My partner in every sense of the word."
The weight of the moment hit Taehyung all at once. He wasn't just a protected Omega or a lucky junior; he had carved out his own space in a world designed to keep him small, and he had done it alongside the man who saw him as his equal.
A surge of affection, raw and overwhelming, flooded his chest, and he pulled Jungkook down into a kiss that tasted of triumph and deep, aching longing. It was a slow, reclaiming kiss, one that acknowledged the shift in their world.
However, the victory was interrupted by a sharp chime from the boardroom's intercom. It was the receptionist, her voice sounding frantic.
"Mr. Jeon? There's a courier here with an urgent delivery from the legal department-- they say it's a counter-suit filed by Director Park and the remaining board members. They're claiming 'wrongful dissolution' and are attempting to freeze the assets of the new firm before the ink is even dry."
Jungkook pulled back just enough to look at Taehyung, a small, dangerous smile playing on his lips. The Alpha didn't look worried; he looked energized. He reached for the ledger Taehyung had used to dismantle the board, sliding it toward him with a knowing glint in his eyes.
"They think a legal skirmish is enough to stop us," Jungkook rasped, his hand sliding down to cup the back of Taehyung's neck, pulling him close.
"But they forgot one thing. The ledger isn't just a list of their crimes-- it's a map of where they hid the money. They didn't just steal from the company; they stole from the shareholders. And those shareholders are the only people who matter right now."
Taehyung felt a spark of curiosity.
"What are you saying? We have the evidence, but the legal process could take months. They can stall the launch of J&K."
"They can't stall what they don't control," Jungkook explained, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial hum.
He leaned in, his nose brushing against Taehyung's.
"The board didn't just misuse the logistics budget; they used a third-party shell company to hold the assets they intended to keep for themselves. While they were busy filing their counter-suit, I spent the last hour finalizing a buy-out of that shell company through a private equity loan. By the time the courier reaches this room, we won't just be starting a new firm-- we'll technically own the very assets they're trying to use as leverage against us."
Taehyung stared at him, breathless. Jungkook hadn't just played the game; he had rewritten the rulebook while the other players were still trying to figure out the board. The sheer audacity of the move; the strategic brilliance of it, made Taehyung's heart race. He felt a surge of pride so intense it was almost physical, a warm glow that radiated from his chest to his fingertips.
"You didn't just buy the assets," Taehyung whispered, his mind racing through the implications. "You've turned their own theft into our starting capital."
"Exactly," Jungkook murmured, his gaze softening as he looked at Taehyung.
"But there's one more piece to this puzzle. The shell company, Apex Logistics, holds the patents for the automated routing software we'll be using for the new firm. By owning the shell, we own the intellectual property. If Park and the others want to work in this industry again, they'll have to pay us a licensing fee just to send a package across the city."
The victory was absolute, but the biological tension that had been simmering since Thursday finally reached a boiling point. The boardroom, once a site of cold corporate calculations, now felt like a sanctuary of raw, unfiltered desire. The scent of cedar had shifted, becoming thick and heady, wrapping around Taehyung like a heavy blanket. The Omega's own scent of vanilla flared in response, a sweet, inviting invitation that made Jungkook's pupils blow wide, turning his eyes into bottomless pools of obsidian.
Without a word, Jungkook hoisted Taehyung up onto the mahogany table, scattering the remaining legal documents with a careless sweep of his arm. He stepped between Taehyung's legs, his large hands sliding up to grip the Omega's thighs, pulling him flush against the hard line of his body. The contrast was stark: the cold, professional surface of the table against the searing heat of their skin. Taehyung let out a soft, needy moan, his head falling back against the wood as Jungkook buried his face in the crook of his neck, inhaling deeply.
"I can't wait until Monday," Jungkook groaned, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through Taehyung's chest.
"I want you right here, right now, where they thought they could break you."
Taehyung's fingers tangled in Jungkook's hair, pulling him closer.
"Then take me," he breathed, the command sounding more like a plea. "Take everything, Jungkook-hyung."
The encounter was a blur of frantic desperation and possessive claim. Every touch was an assertion of ownership, every kiss a seal on the contract they had written in the ruins of their old lives. Jungkook moved with a focused intensity, his dominance not just a social role but a physical force that anchored Taehyung in the storm of their shared passion.
As they collided, the world outside the boardroom ceased to exist; the lawsuits, the shareholders and the corporate wreckage were nothing compared to the visceral reality of the Alpha's weight pressing him into the table and the Omega's heart hammering against his ribs.
However, as the peak of their passion subsided into a slow, humming glow, the sound of a heavy door slamming echoed from the hallway. It wasn't the receptionist. The footsteps were heavy, hurried, and accompanied by the sharp, acidic scent of an Alpha in a state of panic.
Taehyung scrambled to adjust his clothing, but Jungkook remained unnervingly still, his eyes narrowing. The door swung open to reveal a frantic, sweating man; a junior analyst named Min-ho, who had been a silent witness to the board's corruption for years.
"Mr. Jeon! Mr. Kim!" Min-ho gasped, leaning against the doorframe. "You need to leave. Now. The security team just got a call from the police. Director Park didn't just file a lawsuit-- he's filed a formal criminal complaint for 'industrial espionage' and 'theft of confidential documents.' He's claiming the ledger you used was stolen from a locked vault. They're on their way up to the executive floor to arrest whoever is still in the building."
Taehyung felt a cold spike of dread. The victory, which had felt so absolute moments ago, suddenly felt precarious.
"He can't do that," Taehyung whispered, glancing at the ledger still lying amidst the scattered papers.
"The evidence is real."
"The evidence is real, but the acquisition of it is what he's targeting," Jungkook replied, his voice returning to that cool, strategic clip.
He didn't look panicked; if anything, he looked amused. He slowly stood up, smoothing his shirt with a methodical precision.
"He thinks that by criminalizing the source, he can invalidate the truth. It's a classic desperation play."
Jungkook reached for his phone, dialing a number before Min-ho could even suggest a hiding spot.
"Marcus? Yes, it's Jungkook. The trigger is pulled. Execute the press release and the public filing of the Apex Logistics acquisition immediately. Don't wait for the legal team to vet it-- go straight to the wires. Label it as a 'Strategic Acquisition and Corporate Ethics Cleanse.'"
As Min-ho stared in confusion, Jungkook turned to Taehyung, a sharp, triumphant glint in his eyes.
"By the time the police walk through those doors, the world will know that the board was siphoning funds into Apex. If they arrest us for 'stealing' the ledger, they're arresting us for uncovering a multi-million dollar fraud that is now public record. Park isn't just fighting a lawsuit anymore; he's fighting a public scandal that will tank the remaining stock value of the firm."
Taehyung felt a rush of adrenaline that surpassed even the heat of their encounter. The game had shifted from a boardroom coup to a public execution of their rivals. He watched as Jungkook grabbed the leather-bound ledger and tucked it securely under his arm, then reached out to pull Taehyung close.
"Wait," Taehyung murmured, glancing at the door.
"If the press release hits the wires now, the office is going to become a circus. We can't just walk out the front doors with the police and the paparazzi fighting for a quote."
Jungkook's gaze shifted toward the elevators, his expression darkening.
"We aren't using the front doors."
Before he could explain, the heavy double doors of the boardroom burst open, but it wasn't the police. It was Jimin, breathless and flushed, looking like he had just run a marathon in his designer loafers. He was clutching a tablet to his chest and wearing a grin that bordered on manic.
"Tae! Jungkook!" Jimin hissed, sliding into the room and slamming the door shut behind him with a decisive thud.
"The wires just hit! The financial blogs are losing their minds. 'The Apex Coup' is trending in the regional sector. Park is currently being cornered by three different reporters in the lobby, and he looks like he's about to have a stroke."
Jimin stepped closer, his eyes gleaming as he looked at the scattered papers and the disheveled state of their clothing. He paused, his nose wrinkling as he caught the heavy, cloying scent of cedar and vanilla lingering in the air. A knowing, mischievous smirk curled his lips.
"I see you two didn't just handle the paperwork," Jimin teased, his voice dropping to a playful stage-whisper.
"The pheromones in here are practically thick enough to carve. Honestly, the lack of professionalism is staggering, and as your friend, I am absolutely appalled. Now, move! I've already hijacked the service elevator and bribed the loading dock security with the promise of a partnership referral."
The three of them hurried toward the rear exit, the silence of the executive wing now punctuated by the distant, muffled sounds of chaos erupting in the lobby. Jimin played the part of the vanguard, checking the corners and guiding them through the labyrinthine service corridors with an efficiency that suggested he had spent the last hour coordinating their escape route. He wasn't just a confidant anymore; he was the operational glue holding their exit strategy together.
"The car is idling in the basement loading zone," Jimin informed them, his pace brisk.
"I've got a decoy team-- two of the junior analysts who hate Park more than they fear unemployment, standing in the hallway to confuse the police. By the time they realize you're not in the boardroom, you'll be three blocks away."
As they burst into the cool, damp air of the parking garage, the tension that had gripped Taehyung's chest for days finally snapped. He leaned against the sleek black chassis of the waiting sedan, letting out a jagged breath. He looked at Jungkook, then at Jimin, who was already tapping away at his tablet, monitoring the fallout.
"The shareholders are pivoting," Jimin announced, his eyes flashing with excitement.
"They're terrified of being linked to the fraud. They're calling Jungkook's phone every ten seconds, begging for a seat at the table of J&K. The narrative has flipped. You're no longer the thieves; you're the saviors of the remaining assets."
Jungkook reached out, pulling Taehyung back into the circle of his arm, his gaze softening as he looked at the Omega. The corporate war had been won, but the biological toll was still evident; Taehyung was leaning into him, his scent humming with a mixture of relief and lingering need.
"You did it, Tae," Jungkook murmured, his voice thick. "You took them down."
"We did," Taehyung corrected, his voice a soft rasp. "But we can't just go home. We have a firm to build. A real one."
Jimin, however, wasn't looking at the romantic victory. He was staring at his tablet, his expression shifting from triumph to a sharp, sudden frown.
"Uh, guys? We might have a problem. A different kind of problem."
"What now, Jimin?" Jungkook asked, his tone shifting back to that of the calculating Alpha.
"The press release is hitting, but someone leaked a counter-narrative to the 'Financial Times' five minutes ago," Jimin explained, turning the screen so they could see.
"An anonymous source is claiming that the 'fraud' was actually a series of sanctioned experimental investments authorized by the board to save the company from a previous dip. They're framing the 'Apex Coup' not as a clean-up, but as a hostile takeover using falsified records to manipulate the stock price. They're calling the ledger a 'fabricated document' created by a disgruntled consultant and his accomplice."
10
The silence that followed Jimin’s announcement was heavy, the air in the concrete parking garage suddenly feeling colder. Taehyung felt the phantom weight of the board's contempt returning, a cold shiver running down his spine. For a moment, the victory felt like a mirage, a fragile glass sculpture that had just been shattered by a single, well-placed stone. He looked at the screen, the words 'fabricated document' searing into his vision.
"They're gaslighting the public," Taehyung whispered, his voice trembling slightly. "They can't actually claim the numbers are fake. The bank records are there. The wire transfers are documented."
"They don't need to prove they're right," Jungkook replied, his voice devoid of emotion, his eyes narrowing as he stared at the tablet.
"They just need to create enough doubt to freeze the asset transfer. If the 'Financial Times' runs a story about 'manipulated records,' the banks will hold the funds in escrow until an independent audit is completed. That gives Park the time he needs to scramble his remaining allies and bury the evidence in a legal loophole."
Jungkook’s grip on Taehyung’s waist tightened, not out of aggression, but as a grounding force. The Alpha’s scent shifted, the cedar sharpening into something metallic and focused. He wasn't just a protector or a lover in this moment; he was a shark sensing blood in the water. He didn't look at the screen again; he already knew the play. Park was attempting to pivot from a criminal defense to a narrative of corporate betrayal.
"Let them create doubt," Jungkook murmured, his voice a low, dangerous vibration. "Doubt is a vacuum, and I'm very good at filling it."
He didn't look at Jimin or Taehyung; his gaze was fixed on the entrance of the parking garage, where the distant wail of sirens began to echo. The police had arrived, and while they were currently searching for them, the real battle had moved to the digital arena. Jungkook’s mind was already three steps ahead, calculating the exact moment the board’s allies would realize that the 'anonymous source' was actually a trap.
"Jimin, who was the source for the 'Financial Times'?" Jungkook asked, his tone surgically precise.
Jimin scrolled rapidly through the metadata on his tablet, his brow furrowing.
"It’s a burner account routed through a server in the Caymans. Classic shell-game stuff. It looks like it's coming from one of Park's old associates in the legal department."
"Let it burn," Jungkook said, his voice devoid of the corporate frost for the first time in weeks. He didn't look at the tablet, nor did he check the sirens wailing in the distance. Instead, he reached out and took the tablet from Jimin’s hand, clicking the screen off with a definitive snap.
"Let the lawyers fight over the scraps of a dead empire. I'm done playing games in a boardroom that smells like desperation and old coffee."
He turned to Taehyung, his eyes softening into a deep, molten warmth that made the Omega’s breath hitch. The predatory Alpha who had dismantled a board of directors had vanished, replaced by the man who had spent sleepless nights worrying over Taehyung’s career. With a sudden, decisive movement, Jungkook swept Taehyung into his arms, lifting him off the concrete floor and pressing him against his chest.
"The assets will settle where they settle," Jungkook murmured against Taehyung's temple. "But I've spent too many hours calculating risks and weighing liabilities. I'm officially resigning from the war."
The escape was a blur of adrenaline and laughter. They abandoned the sedan-- which Jimin promised to handle and disappeared into the city, shedding their tailored armor as they went. By the time they reached the secluded beach house Jungkook had quietly leased months ago as a 'contingency plan,' the midnight-blue suit was discarded in a heap on the hardwood floor, and the heavy weight of corporate expectation had evaporated.
For the first few days, time ceased to exist in the way a professional calendar defines it. There were no quarterly reviews, no urgent emails, and no shadow-equity schemes. There was only the rhythmic pulse of the tide against the shore and the intoxicating, undisturbed scent of cedar and vanilla filling the rooms.
They slept until the sun scorched the horizon and woke only when the biological pull of their bond demanded it. Jungkook spent hours tracing the lines of Taehyung's body with a reverence that felt like a prayer, his touch slow and deliberate, as if he were memorizing a map of a land he finally owned.
Taehyung found himself blooming in the silence. Without the need to perform 'authority' or maintain a facade of professional detachment, he leaned into his Omega instincts with a raw, honest joy. He spent his mornings curled in Jungkook's arms, his head resting on the Alpha's broad chest, listening to the steady, grounding thrum of a heart that beat only for him. He wasn't a junior assistant or a founding partner here; he was simply Taehyung, the center of Jungkook's universe.
One afternoon, as they lay tangled together on a linen sheet drenched in sunlight, Taehyung looked up at the man who had risked everything to clear a path for him. The fear of the 'Financial Times' and the ghosts of the boardroom felt like a lifetime ago, a distant noise drowned out by the sound of Jungkook's laughter.
"You know," Taehyung whispered, tracing the ink of a tattoo on Jungkook's forearm, "we actually have to start a firm on Monday."
Jungkook let out a low, rumbling chuckle, his hand sliding down to possessively squeeze Taehyung's hip.
"We'll hire a management team to handle the transition. We'll be the visionaries, Tae. We'll set the hours, we'll choose the culture, and we'll fire anyone who dares to breathe a word of corporate politics in our presence."
He shifted, pinning Taehyung beneath him with a slow, deliberate weight that made the Omega's scent spike with sweetness.
"But first, I think we need to discuss the benefits package for the partners. Specifically, the mandatory nap times and the unlimited leave for... extracurricular activities."
Taehyung giggled, his legs winding around Jungkook's waist, pulling him flush against the heat of his center. The tension that had defined their relationship- the secret glances in the office and the stolen moments in the archives, had transformed into something sustainable.
It was no longer a desperate hunger, but a deep, nourishing flame. He felt the soft, wet press of Jungkook's lips against his jaw, the scent of cedar now mingling with the salt air and the smell of sun-warmed skin.
As the week progressed, the phone calls from the corporate world became less frantic and more pleading. The board members who had tried to dismantle them were now begging for mercy, their 'counter-narratives' falling flat against the sheer weight of the evidence Jungkook had unleashed.
But Jungkook barely checked his messages. He spent his time teaching Taehyung how to cook a proper breakfast and spending hours in the saltwater pool, watching the way the light danced across Taehyung's skin.
On Friday evening, they sat on the deck watching the sky bruise into shades of violet and gold. Jungkook reached into his pocket and pulled out two sleek, matte-black business cards. They weren't corporate; they were minimalist and elegant.
Jeon & Kim: Strategic Consulting.
"I called the management team," Jungkook said, his voice a low, contented hum.
"The legal mess is being scrubbed by a team of the best fixers in the city. Park has been officially ousted, and the assets have cleared. We don't have to step foot in that building again. We’ve leased a penthouse studio in the arts district. Open floor plan, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a strict ban on any meeting that lasts longer than an hour."
Taehyung looked at the card, then back at the man who had rewritten his entire world. He felt a surge of warmth, a sense of peace that he hadn't known was possible in the high-stakes world they inhabited. He leaned over, kissing Jungkook with a slow, lingering passion that tasted of a thousand promises kept.
"I think," Taehyung whispered, his eyes fluttering shut as Jungkook's hand slid down to cup the soft curve of his hip, "that I'm very excited about the new office culture."
Jungkook laughed, a rich, genuine sound that echoed against the sound of the crashing waves. He swept Taehyung up into his arms, carrying him back toward the bedroom as the first stars began to blink into existence.
The corporate war was over, the ruins had been cleared, and in its place, they were building something that didn't require a ledger to prove its value. They weren't just partners in business; they were the sole architects of a life where their only obligation was to the love and longing they felt for one another.
The following Monday arrived not with the jarring scream of an alarm clock, but with the soft gold of a sunrise filtering through linen curtains. For the first time in years, Jungkook didn't wake up calculating the market's opening bell. Instead, he woke to the feeling of Taehyung curled against his side, the Omega's scent of vanilla now deep and settled, lacking the sharp edges of anxiety that had defined his tenure at the old firm.
Jungkook watched the slow rise and fall of Taehyung's chest, feeling a fierce, protective pride. He didn't want the power of the boardroom anymore; he wanted the quiet power of this intimacy, the slow rhythm of a morning where the only deadline was the cooling of their coffee.
They spent the day moving into the penthouse studio, though "moving" mostly consisted of Jungkook carrying the heavy boxes while Taehyung curated the aesthetic. The space was a temple of light and glass, overlooking the city they had once fought for but no longer felt the need to conquer.
There were no cubicles here, no sterile grey carpets or fluorescent lights that drained the color from one's skin. Instead, there were velvet sofas in deep emerald, floating shelves filled with art and architecture books, and a large, sun-drenched terrace where they could breathe the city air without the smell of smog and desperation.
As Taehyung unpacked a set of hand-painted ceramics, he felt Jungkook's arms wrap around his waist from behind. The Alpha's chin rested on his shoulder, his breath warm against Taehyung's neck.
"Is it everything you imagined?" Jungkook murmured, his voice a low, contented rumble.
Taehyung leaned back into the embrace, closing his eyes and soaking in the feeling of being completely seen and utterly cherished.
"It's better," he whispered, turning in Jungkook's arms to loop his hands around the Alpha's neck. "Because for the first time, I don't have to wonder if I'm enough. I just... am."
The corporate saga had been a whirlwind of adrenaline and calculated risks, but as they stood in the center of their new sanctuary, the noise of the world finally went silent.
The power struggles, the legal battles, and the crushing weight of expectations had been traded for something far more visceral. They weren't fighting for a seat at a table anymore; they had built their own table, and it was reserved only for the two of them. The transition felt less like a career move and more like a homecoming, a shedding of a skin that had grown too tight.
Jungkook's gaze dropped to Taehyung's lips, his expression shifting from soft affection to a simmering, hungry heat. He didn't care about the half-unpacked boxes or the scheduled meeting with their new head of operations. He shifted his grip, lifting Taehyung effortlessly until the Omega was perched on the edge of the polished concrete counter. The friction of their clothes; linen and silk, sounded like a promise in the quiet room.
"You know," Jungkook whispered, his thumb tracing the line of Taehyung's jaw, "the 'strict ban' on long meetings applies to everything except us. I intend to spend the next several hours discussing our long-term partnership in very... detailed... terms."
Taehyung let out a soft, breathy laugh, his fingers tangling in the dark locks of Jungkook's hair. The biological pull between them was no longer a frantic need to claim or protect; it was a steady, humming current of devotion.
As Jungkook leaned in to kiss him, the taste of coffee and morning sunlight lingering between them, Taehyung realized that the true victory wasn't the acquisition of a company or the defeat of an enemy. It was the simple, profound luxury of waking up every day knowing that he was loved, not for his utility or his rank, but for the soul that belonged entirely to the man holding him.
11
"If you two spend one more second staring into each other's eyes with that nauseatingly sweet intensity, I might actually have to file a formal complaint for public nuisance," a familiar, melodic voice rang through the penthouse.
Jimin practically teleported into the room, his arrival heralded by a whirlwind of expensive cologne and the rhythmic click of designer heels. He looked as though he had just stepped off a runway in Milan, wearing a sheer silk blouse and trousers that hugged his frame with surgical precision but his expression was one of playful exhaustion. He didn't even wait for an invitation before tossing his oversized leather bag onto one of their curated velvet sofas, effectively disrupting the curated stillness of the studio.
"Jimin!" Taehyung beamed, sliding off the counter to throw his arms around his best friend.
The two collided in a flurry of laughter and scent, the air filling with the bright, citrusy notes of Jimin’s Omega presence mingling with Taehyung's vanilla.
Jimin pulled back just enough to hold Taehyung at arm's length, his eyes scanning Taehyung with a critical, yet fond, gaze.
"Look at you," Jimin teased, gesturing to the relaxed fit of Taehyung's clothes and the genuine glow in his cheeks.
"You’ve gone from 'terrified junior assistant' to 'radiant partner of the century' in record time. I can actually see your soul breathing again. It's disgusting, really. I love it."
Jungkook stepped forward, a small, amused smile tugging at his lips as he gave Jimin a brief, masculine nod of greeting.
"I assume the 'cleanup' went according to plan, Jimin?"
Jimin sighed dramatically, leaning back against the emerald velvet sofa and crossing his legs.
"Oh, the cleanup was a masterpiece of surgical precision. By the time the dust settled, the former company was less of a firm and more of a cautionary tale taught in business ethics classes. Park tried to launch a 'truth campaign' from a beach house in Turks and Caicos, but the shareholders had already stripped him of every single cent he’d siphoned. The firm is currently in a state of corporate rigor mortis-- just a hollow shell of a name and a few expensive leases that nobody knows how to pay for."
He paused, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous light as he looked at the two of them.
"I spent the last forty-eight hours playing the part of the 'concerned confidant' to the remaining board members, subtly guiding them toward the realization that their only hope for a graceful exit was to sign the non-disclosure agreements Jungkook drafted. I’ve been the ghost in their machine, darling, ensuring that the silence was as absolute as the defeat."
As Jungkook stepped away to handle a ringing phone; a brief, professional necessity and Jimin immediately lunged toward Taehyung, grabbing his hands, pulling him into a tight, frantic circle of gossip. The atmosphere shifted instantly from corporate victory to the chaotic energy of two best friends who had spent too much time pretending to be professional.
"Okay, enough with the balance sheets! Tell me everything," Jimin hissed, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial stage-whisper.
"The tension between you two in that office was so thick I could have used it as a doorstop. I knew you had a crush, Tae; the way you used to practically vibrate every time he entered a room was a dead giveaway but the actual affair? The secret glances? The stolen moments in the archives? Please tell me there were forbidden encounters in the breakroom. Did you use the filing cabinets? I bet you used the filing cabinets!"
Taehyung flushed a deep, vivid crimson, laughing as he tried to fend off Jimin’s teasing.
"Jimin, stop! It wasn't like that... mostly. It was just... intense. Everything with him is intense."
He leaned in, his voice softening with a genuine warmth.
"But it wasn't just the attraction, Jim. He actually saw me. Not as a junior who could be pushed around or a convenient assistant, but as a partner. He fought for me before I even knew how to fight for myself."
Jimin’s expression softened, his teasing fading into a look of profound affection. He squeezed Taehyung’s hand, his citrus scent humming with contentment.
"You deserved to be seen, Tae. And if anyone was going to be the one to do it, it had to be a man as obsessed with you as Jungkook is. I mean, have you seen the way he looks at you when he thinks no one is watching? He looks like he’s discovered a new religion and you’re the only deity he recognizes."
The two of them spent the next hour sprawled across the emerald sofa, ignoring the world outside the glass walls. They caught up on the smaller things-- the way Taehyung had finally learned to stand his ground in meetings, the secret jokes they'd shared while hiding from Director Park, and the sheer absurdity of their current situation.
For Taehyung, it was a grounding moment; amidst the whirlwind of corporate coups and sudden wealth, Jimin was the constant, the friend who knew the version of him that existed before the suits and the power plays.
When Jungkook finally returned to the room, he found them tangled in a mess of limbs and laughter, the air thick with the scent of old friendship and new beginnings.
He didn't interrupt; he simply leaned against the doorframe, watching the scene with a quiet, possessive satisfaction. The war was over, the enemies were gone, and as he looked at Taehyung; beaming, safe, and utterly happy, Jungkook knew that the real empire they were building had nothing to do with money.
"So, the 'Ghost in the Machine' has a report," Jungkook said, his voice pulling them back to the present.
"What’s the final status of the old firm?"
Jimin sat up, his eyes flashing with a wicked sort of glee.
"Oh, it’s absolute carnage, darling. The remaining executives are currently fighting over who gets to keep the fancy espresso machine because the bank has frozen everything else. The brand is toxic; the name is a joke. They tried to pivot to a 'restructuring' phase, but the market has a very short memory for people who commit fraud. The company isn't just dying-- it's decomposing in real-time. I’ve spent my morning watching the stock price plummet from a penthouse lounge in the city, sipping champagne and sending 'get well soon' cards to the board."
Taehyung laughed, the sound bright and clear, filling the studio. He felt a sudden, overwhelming sense of lightness. The ghost of the corporate hierarchy; the fear of being 'less than' or 'replaceable' had finally vanished. He looked at Jungkook, the Alpha who had been his protector, his mentor, and now his equal, and felt a surge of desire that had nothing to do with biological heat and everything to do with the soul.
"Since the corporate world is officially a smoldering ruin," Jungkook murmured, stepping forward to press a lingering kiss to the top of Taehyung's head, "I think it's time we decided on our first official order of business for J&K."
"If that order of business involves a meeting, I'm charging a consulting fee," Jimin joked, though he was already sliding off the sofa with a mischievous grin.
He grabbed Taehyung’s arm, pulling him away from Jungkook's protective orbit for a momentary 'Omega-only' huddle.
"Now, back to the real business. You mentioned 'intense,' but I want the gritty details. I want the forbidden. Tell me, did he actually pin you against the mahogany desk in the executive suite? Because if he didn't, I will personally fire him from the friendship circle for lack of creativity."
Taehyung’s face heated up, a soft giggle escaping him as he leaned into Jimin.
"He did, Jim! He did. Once, during the second quarter review, he... well, the reports were completely ignored for about forty minutes."
He looked back at Jungkook, who was watching them with an amused, hungry expression, his arms crossed over his broad chest.
"It was terrifying and exhilarating all at once. I thought for sure we'd be caught by the cleaning crew, but the doors were locked and the scent of him was just... everywhere."
Jimin let out a dramatic gasp, clutching his chest.
"The scandal! The passion! My heart can't take it. You’ve truly upgraded from a junior assistant to a muse, Tae."
He squeezed Taehyung's shoulder, his voice turning soft and genuine.
"In all seriousness, though, seeing you like this... without that nervous twitch in your shoulder... it's the best part of this whole mess."
Jungkook stepped back in, sliding an arm around Taehyung's waist and pulling him flush against his side. The protective Alpha scent of cedar flared, marking the space.
"Alright, enough interrogation for one day," Jungkook declared, though his eyes were twinkling.
"Jimin has had his fill of our private life. I believe we have a terrace and a very expensive bottle of vintage wine that needs our immediate attention."
The vintage wine was a forgotten luxury, sitting unopened on the marble terrace table as the three of them leaned against the railing, watching the city skyline flicker like a fallen constellation.
For the first time in years, the silence between them wasn't a strategic pause in a negotiation; it was simply peace. Jimin, usually a fountain of kinetic energy, had finally settled, his gaze drifting over the shimmering grid of the city he’d just helped them conquer.
"You know," Jimin murmured, swirling a glass of sparkling water, "the irony is that you're more powerful now that you've stopped trying to be 'powerful.' The board was so obsessed with the architecture of the hierarchy that they forgot the foundation was rotting. You two just... stepped over the ruins."
Jungkook didn't answer immediately. He was too busy watching the way the moonlight caught the slope of Taehyung’s nose and the soft, contented curve of his lips.
The Alpha’s hand was anchored firmly on the small of Taehyung’s back, a constant, grounding pressure that served as a silent reminder:
You are here, you are mine, and you are safe.
"The foundation wasn't the company," Jungkook finally said, his voice a low vibration that resonated in Taehyung's chest. "The foundation was us. Everything else was just noise."
"Which is exactly why," Jimin added, his voice regaining its habitual playful edge, "we need to discuss the actual foundation of this new firm. Specifically, the staffing. Because as much as I love the image of you two just staring longingly at each other in a glass box, you actually need people who know how to use a spreadsheet without getting distracted by the scent of an Alpha or an Omega's neck."
Jungkook chuckled, the sound vibrating against Taehyung’s shoulder.
"That’s why we’ve spent the last week vetting candidates through a third-party agency. No one enters this office unless they are competent, discreet, and most importantly, completely indifferent to our domestic habits."
Taehyung smiled, leaning his head back against Jungkook's chest. The freedom was intoxicating, but the transition from the structured chaos of the corporate world to the autonomy of their own venture felt like walking on a tightrope.
He felt the phantom weight of the old expectations; the need to be the perfect assistant, the drive to prove his worth to a board that viewed Omegas as decorative accessories and realized they were finally fading.
"The first batch of interviews starts tomorrow," Jungkook murmured, his voice dropping an octave as he pressed a kiss to the curve of Taehyung’s ear.
"But tonight, the office is closed."
"Finally," Jimin exhaled, his voice dripping with mock relief as he began to backtrack toward the elevator.
"The phrase 'the office is closed' is the most beautiful thing I have heard in three fiscal years. I shall leave you to your... detailed partnership discussions. Do try not to break the concrete counters; they're probably custom-made."
With a wink and a flourish of his silk sleeve, Jimin vanished into the elevator, leaving a lingering scent of citrus and a sudden, heavy silence that vibrated with anticipation.
The moment the elevator doors slid shut, the atmosphere in the penthouse shifted. The soft, ambient light of the city skyline seemed to dim, leaving the center of the room illuminated only by the warm glow of a few strategically placed lamps.
Jungkook didn’t let go of Taehyung; instead, his grip tightened, pulling the Omega flush against him. The Alpha’s scent; that deep, grounding cedar bloomed, filling the space until it was the only thing Taehyung could breathe.
"You know," Taehyung whispered, his voice slightly breathless as he looked up at the man who had spent the last hour playing the role of the composed executive.
"The way you look when you're being 'professional' is incredibly distracting. It makes me want to see exactly how long it takes for that composure to shatter."
Jungkook’s eyes darkened, the pupils blowing wide as he looked down at his partner. A low, rumbling growl started in his chest, a primal sound that vibrated through Taehyung’s entire frame.
"You're playing a dangerous game, Taehyung," Jungkook murmured, his voice a velvet rasp.
"Especially when you know exactly how much I crave the sound of you coming apart beneath me."
12
The composure didn't shatter; it melted. Jungkook's mouth crashed against Taehyung's with a hunger that felt less like a kiss and more like a reclamation. He backed Taehyung into the floor-to-ceiling glass of the penthouse, the cool surface of the window contrasting sharply with the searing heat of Jungkook's body.
Outside, the city of Seoul sprawled in a glittering, electric grid, millions of people moving in a world that had no idea the two men in this glass sanctuary were currently unraveling.
Jungkook's hands weren't gentle now; they were possessive, sliding under the hem of Taehyung's linen shirt to find the soft skin of his waist.
He lifted Taehyung, hooking the Omega's legs around his hips, pinning him against the glass with a firm, steady pressure. Taehyung let out a soft, broken moan, his head tilting back as Jungkook's lips migrated to the sensitive column of his throat, marking the skin with bruising, insistent kisses.
"I spent the entire meeting with Jimin thinking about this," Jungkook murmured against his skin, his voice a low, rough vibration.
"Thinking about how you looked in that sunlight this morning, and how much I wanted to strip every piece of clothing off you and remind you exactly who you belong to."
Taehyung's fingers dug into the muscles of Jungkook's shoulders, his breath coming in short, jagged hitches. The biological pull of the Alpha was an intoxicating tide, dragging him under.
He shifted, the friction of their bodies sending a jolt of electricity straight to the core of him. He could feel the heavy throb of Jungkook's arousal pressing against his thigh, a promise of the intensity to come.
Taehyung's response was a desperate, needy sound, his hips instinctively tilting upward to find more of that friction. The polished glass of the window groaned slightly under their combined weight, a subtle vibration that only served to heighten the thrill of the moment.
He reached down, his fingers fumbling with the buttons of Jungkook's crisp dress shirt, wanting to feel the heat of the Alpha's chest against his own.
"Then remind me," Taehyung gasped, his voice a fragile thread. "Remind me right now, Alpha."
Jungkook didn't need to be told twice. With a fluid, powerful movement, he shifted his grip, sliding Taehyung down from the glass just enough to let the Omega's feet touch the floor, before spinning him around. He pressed Taehyung's chest flat against the cool surface of the window, his large hand splaying across the small of Taehyung's back to hold him firmly in place.
The position left Taehyung exposed, his breath fogging the glass in erratic bursts as he felt Jungkook's presence loom behind him, a wall of heat and dominant intent.
The Alpha's scent shifted, the cedar deepening into something darker, more primal; the scent of a predator who had finally cornered his prize. Jungkook's lips found the sensitive curve of Taehyung's shoulder, his teeth grazing the skin just enough to elicit a sharp, high-pitched shiver.
"You're so sensitive," Jungkook murmured, his voice a low rumble that vibrated through Taehyung's spine.
"Everything about you just... reacts to me. It's the most addictive thing I've ever known."
Jungkook's hand slid lower, the fabric of Taehyung's trousers providing a frustrating barrier. With a focused intensity, the Alpha reached for the fastening, the metallic click of the button sounding like a starting pistol in the quiet of the penthouse. He peeled the fabric away, exposing the soft, cream-colored silk of Taehyung's underwear and the plush, heat-drenched curve of the Omega's ass.
Taehyung let out a shuddering breath, his forehead resting against the cold glass. The contrast was dizzying; the freezing window against his chest and the scorching heat of Jungkook's palms against his skin. He felt the Alpha's fingers graze the sensitive entrance of his cunt, a light, teasing touch that made Taehyung's toes curl against the polished floor.
"Please," Taehyung whimpered, his voice cracking.
He shifted his weight, instinctively pushing back against the hand, his body aching for the fullness only Jungkook could provide.
Jungkook didn't give in immediately. He liked the desperation, the way Taehyung's scent had shifted from a sweet vanilla to something heady and ripe, practically begging to be claimed. He leaned in, his chest pressing against Taehyung's shoulder blades, his voice a dark, velvet command against his ear.
"Tell me exactly what you want, Taehyung. No metaphors. No corporate speech. Just tell me."
Taehyung's breath hitched, his lungs feeling too small for the amount of air he needed. The cold glass against his chest was the only thing keeping him grounded as the world dissolved into the scent of cedar and the overwhelming pressure of Jungkook's presence.
He felt the Alpha's fingers slide deeper, a slow, deliberate intrusion that sent a jolt of lightning straight to the base of his spine.
"I want you," Taehyung gasped, his voice trembling.
He arched his back, pressing his backside more firmly into Jungkook's palm, his body humming with a desperate, biological need.
"I want you inside me. Now. Please, Alpha... please fill me."
The request acted like a trigger. Jungkook's control, which had been a taut wire for the last hour, finally snapped. He didn't waste another second on teasing; his hand moved with practiced efficiency, shedding the remaining layers of clothing until there was nothing left between them but the thin, electric air of the penthouse.
Jungkook's length was a heavy, insistent heat against Taehyung's thigh, the Alpha's breathing now a rhythmic, primal sound that mirrored the frantic beating of Taehyung's own heart. He didn't just enter him; he claimed him. With one fluid, powerful thrust, Jungkook drove himself deep, filling Taehyung to the absolute brim.
Taehyung's scream was muffled against the glass, a high, shattered sound of pure relief and overwhelming sensation. He felt the thick, pulsing stretch of his walls accommodating the Alpha's size, the biological lock clicking into place as their scents merged into one singular, suffocating cloud of cedar and vanilla. It wasn't just physical; it was a total surrender, a merging of two souls who had spent too long fighting the world to find each other.
Jungkook groaned, the sound vibrating through his chest and directly into Taehyung's back. He began to move, his pace relentless and uncompromising. Each thrust was a statement of ownership, a rhythmic hammering that drove Taehyung further and further into the window. The glass rattled in its frame, a rhythmic percussion to the wet, sliding sounds of their union. Jungkook's hands weren't just holding him now; they were gripping his hips, bruising the skin with a possessive intensity that Taehyung craved.
Taehyung's vision blurred, the glittering lights of Seoul turning into a smear of gold and violet as the pleasure peaked, dragging him under. He felt every inch of Jungkook-- the thickness, the pulsing heat, the way the Alpha seemed to claim not just his body, but the very air in his lungs. He was anchored to the world only by the cold glass against his chest and the searing, rhythmic fire of Jungkook's movements.
"Look at me," Jungkook commanded, his voice a rough, distorted growl.
Taehyung twisted his head, glancing back over his shoulder. Jungkook's face was a mask of raw, focused intensity, his jaw clenched and his eyes dark with an ancient, possessive hunger. The sight of the composed, corporate titan reduced to this primal state sent a fresh wave of heat crashing through Taehyung's core. He let out a broken sob of longing, his fingers clawing at the glass, leaving faint streaks of moisture behind.
"I've got you," Jungkook murmured, his pace slowing just enough to let the friction build, his thumbs digging into the dip of Taehyung's waist.
"You're mine, Tae. Everything you are, everything you've become... it's all mine."
The friction shifted from a rhythmic hammering to a slow, agonizing grind, Jungkook pulling back until he was nearly out before plunging back in with a force that made Taehyung's knees buckle. The Omega's breath left him in a jagged gasp, his forehead sliding against the glass as he felt the Alpha's knot begin to swell, a biological promise of a bond that went deeper than skin and muscle.
The orgasm was a heavy, filling pressure that pushed Taehyung toward the edge of consciousness, leaving him suspended in a state of pure, sensory overload.
Jungkook's movements became shorter, more urgent, his breath hot and erratic against the nape of Taehyung's neck. The Alpha's grip on Taehyung's hips tightened, his fingers digging in as he sought a firmer anchor to drive himself deeper.
"You're so tight," Jungkook groaned, the sound vibrating through Taehyung's entire skeleton.
"I can't get enough of you. I'll never get enough of you."
The Alpha's pace shifted, becoming a frantic, desperate blur of motion. Taehyung was no longer just a partner or a lover; he was the center of Jungkook's entire universe, the only fixed point in a world that had spent years trying to tear them apart.
Every thrust felt like a signature on a contract, a permanent marking of territory that went beyond the physical. Taehyung's walls clamped down on Jungkook with a fierce, instinctive intensity, milking him with a rhythmic desperation that pushed the Alpha toward the brink.
With one final, guttural roar, Jungkook surged forward, his body locking as he hit the deepest point of Taehyung's core. The knot flared, filling Taehyung with a searing, overwhelming heat that left him breathless. Taehyung let out a long, shuddering moan, his muscles pulsing around Jungkook in waves of exquisite release.
He felt the Alpha's heavy weight collapse against his back, their chests heaving in unison, the scent of cedar and vanilla now a thick, intoxicating fog that clung to their skin.
For several minutes, neither of them moved. The only sound in the penthouse was the erratic rhythm of their breathing and the distant, muffled hum of the city below. The cool glass of the window had warmed from the heat of their bodies, creating a blurred, steamy veil between them and the world they had conquered. Jungkook's face was buried in the crook of Taehyung's neck, his lips brushing against the Omega's scent gland in a series of soft, lingering kisses that spoke of a tenderness far removed from the primal intensity of the last hour.
"You're shaking," Jungkook whispered, his voice a low, gravelly rumble. He didn't pull away; instead, he tightened his arms around Taehyung, anchoring him.
"I'm shaking because you're heavy," Taehyung lied breathlessly, though he leaned back into the Alpha's warmth, his muscles feeling like overcooked noodles.
The adrenaline was receding, leaving behind a humming sense of contentment that made his eyelids heavy. He felt the slow, rhythmic throb of Jungkook's knot inside him, a biological tether that felt more secure than any legal contract they had ever signed.
Jungkook chuckled, the sound a low vibration against Taehyung's shoulder. He didn't move to withdraw, preferring to let the bond settle, his nose brushing against the sensitive skin of Taehyung's neck.
"You're a terrible liar, Taehyung. You're shaking because you've never been filled like that before."
"And you've never... had an Omega like me," Taehyung countered, his voice regaining a hint of its playful lilt.
He shifted slightly, the movement causing a wet, sliding sound that made him flush. He could feel the dampness of their exertion clinging to the polished floor, a messy testament to the loss of composure they had both craved.
With a slow, reluctant sigh, Jungkook finally shifted, sliding out of Taehyung with a soft, suctioning sound that elicited a small, needy whimper from the Omega. The sudden absence of the Alpha's heat left Taehyung feeling momentarily cold, and he instinctively reached back, grasping at Jungkook's forearm to keep him close.
Jungkook didn't let him drift far; he stepped around and gathered Taehyung into his arms, lifting him effortlessly from the floor and carrying him toward the sprawling, oversized bed in the center of the room.
Jungkook lowered Taehyung onto the silk sheets with a tenderness that felt like a quiet apology for the intensity of the window. He didn't immediately pull away, instead hovering over the Omega, his eyes scanning Taehyung's face with a look of raw, unfiltered adoration.
The corporate mask was completely gone now, replaced by the gaze of a man who had found his center and intended to guard it with everything he possessed.
Taehyung reached up, his fingers tracing the line of Jungkook's jaw, feeling the slight stubble and the heat still radiating from the Alpha's skin. He felt a profound sense of safety, a realization that the battles they had fought-- the legal wars and the corporate sabotage, were merely the storm before the sunrise. Now that the noise had faded, the only thing that mattered was the way Jungkook's heart beat against his own, a steady, grounding rhythm that drowned out the rest of the world.
"We're actually doing it," Taehyung murmured, his voice soft and hazy.
"Our own firm. Our own rules. No more hiding in the breakroom or praying the blinds were closed."
Jungkook let out a soft, humming sound of agreement, pressing his forehead against Taehyung's.
"No more hiding. From tomorrow, the world knows exactly who you are to me. Not just my partner in business, but the man who owns every single piece of my heart."
He paused, his thumb grazing Taehyung's lower lip.
"Though, if we start the first day of interviews with you looking this flushed and satisfied, the staff might get the impression that our 'partnership discussions' are more rigorous than they expected."
13
The first day of the new firm didn't start with a boardroom meeting or a strategic briefing; it started with a struggle over a silk tie. Taehyung stood before the mirror in their sprawling dressing room, humming softly to himself as he tried to navigate the intricate knot of a Windsor, his mind still drifting in the hazy afterglow of the previous night. He was wearing a tailored cream suit that complemented his skin, but the tie was proving to be a stubborn adversary.
"You're frowning," a low voice vibrated behind him.
Jungkook appeared in the reflection, looking effortlessly lethal in a charcoal three-piece suit. The Alpha hadn't even finished buttoning his cuffs, yet he already radiated an air of absolute authority that made the room feel smaller.
He stepped into Taehyung’s space, his chest brushing against the Omega's back, and reached forward to take the silk fabric from Taehyung’s clumsy fingers.
"I'm not frowning, I'm concentrating," Taehyung countered, though he leaned back into the warmth of Jungkook’s body, his eyes fluttering shut for a brief second.
"There is a very distinct difference between a corporate frown and a concentration frown."
Jungkook chuckled, the sound a low rumble that Taehyung felt in his own spine. With practiced precision, the Alpha tightened the knot, his fingers grazing the sensitive skin of Taehyung's throat. The touch was light, but the scent of cedar flared, a possessive claim that lingered in the air.
"Concentrate on the fact that we have ten candidates waiting in the lobby," Jungkook murmured, his voice a velvet rasp.
"And try not to let your 'puppy crush' distract you during the technical evaluations. I need you sharp, Tae."
Taehyung let out a small, indignant huff, though the blush creeping up his neck betrayed him. He turned in Jungkook’s arms, looping his hands around the Alpha’s neck.
"My puppy crush evolved into a full-blown devotion weeks ago, Jungkook. If anything, you are the one who can't keep your eyes off me during meetings. I saw you staring at my lips during the final briefing with the lawyers."
Jungkook’s gaze darkened, his hands sliding down to anchor on Taehyung’s hips.
"Because you have a habit of biting your lip when you're thinking of a counter-argument. It’s a very distracting habit."
He leaned in, his nose brushing against Taehyung’s, the corporate facade already beginning to fray at the edges.
"And because I like knowing that beneath that professional suit, you're still the only person in this city who knows exactly how to make me lose my mind."
The moment was interrupted by the sharp, rhythmic ping of the elevator announcing their arrival in the lobby. The bubble of intimacy popped, replaced by the sudden, electric charge of a new beginning. They stepped out of the private elevator and into the heart of the penthouse studio, a space of glass, white marble, and minimalist steel.
It was a temple to efficiency, but as Taehyung looked around, he saw the touches of warmth they had added; the soft velvet lounge chairs, the organic greenery, and the absence of the suffocating, sterile tension that had defined their previous office.
In the lobby, ten candidates sat in varied states of anxiety. They were the best of the best, curated by a rigorous vetting process but as the double doors slid open, the atmosphere shifted. The candidates stood in unison, a wave of professional deference hitting the air.
They were looking at the power couple of the moment, but more than that, they were reacting to the scent. The blend of Jungkook’s dominant, grounding cedar and Taehyung’s bright, inviting vanilla created an olfactory wall of stability and luxury that commanded the room without a single word being spoken.
Jungkook didn't let the silence linger. With a sharp, focused energy, he stepped forward, his eyes scanning the line of candidates with a precision that felt like a physical weight. Beside him, Taehyung maintained a poised smile, though he felt a flicker of the old nerves. He wasn't the trembling junior assistant anymore; he was a co-founder.
He shifted his weight, the cream fabric of his suit catching the light, and felt the subtle, grounding pressure of Jungkook’s hand find the small of his back. It was a brief touch, barely a second, but it served as a silent reminder:
I am here, and you are with me.
"Please, take a seat," Jungkook commanded, his voice echoing with a natural authority that brooked no hesitation.
He gestured toward the sleek, curved conference table.
"We have a tight schedule. We will be conducting ten-minute initial screenings, followed by a technical deep-dive for those who pass the first phase. If you are here, it means your credentials are impeccable; now we are looking for something that cannot be found on a resume."
Taehyung watched as the candidates filed in, one by one. He found himself observing them through a new lens. He remembered the suffocating feeling of being the 'Omega in the room'-- the way people would smile at him condescendingly while directing all the actual questions to the Alpha in charge.
As the first candidate, a sharp-eyed Beta woman with a degree from an Ivy League school, began her pitch, Taehyung noticed her eyes darting between him and Jungkook. She was trying to gauge who held the true power in the room.
Taehyung leaned forward, his expression shifting into something more calculating and professional.
"Your analysis of the market volatility in the second quarter was impressive, Ms. Choi," he interrupted softly, his voice steady and clear. "But your proposal suggests a risk-averse approach to the acquisition of the remaining assets. In a firm that values aggressive growth and innovative disruption, wouldn't that approach be a liability rather than a safeguard?"
The candidate, Ms. Song, blinked, her composure wavering for a fraction of a second. She had expected to be the one steering the intellectual current of the room, treating Taehyung as the softer, more intuitive half of the partnership.
But the question was a precision strike, cutting through her polished corporate jargon to expose a flaw in her logic. She looked at Jungkook, hoping for a reprieve, but found the Alpha leaning back in his chair, his arms crossed over his chest and a look of intense, focused interest on his face.
"My... my approach prioritizes long-term stability," Ms. Song stammered, her voice losing its rehearsed sheen.
"Stability is a luxury of the complacent," Taehyung countered, his voice remaining light but the edge as sharp as a diamond. "We aren't looking for a caretaker for our assets, Ms. Song. We are looking for a strategist who knows when to gamble because they understand the odds. Tell me, if the market dips five percent tomorrow, do you hold the line and hope for a recovery, or do you pivot your entire portfolio into emerging tech to capitalize on the chaos?"
The tension in the room became a living thing. For the first time in his professional life, Taehyung didn't feel the need to modulate his tone to avoid appearing "too aggressive" for an Omega. He wasn't performing for a board of directors; he was building a kingdom. He watched Ms. Song scramble for an answer, her confidence eroding with every second of silence. When she finally spoke, her answer was safe, cautious, and utterly boring.
Taehyung didn't let her finish the sentence. With a polite but final gesture, he closed the folder in front of him. "Thank you for your time, Ms. Song. We'll be in touch."
As the woman hurried out of the room, her heels clicking a frantic retreat across the marble, Jungkook let out a low, appreciative hum. He didn't look at the candidate; he looked at Taehyung. The Alpha’s eyes were dark, glittering with a mixture of professional pride and something far more carnal. The way Taehyung had dismantled the woman’s composure; the sheer and cool efficiency of it had triggered a visceral reaction in Jungkook's chest.
"You've grown quite a set of teeth, Taehyung," Jungkook murmured, his voice a rough vibration that barely carried across the table.
"I learned from the best," Taehyung replied, flashing a small, secret smile that was meant only for the man beside him.
He felt an intoxicating surge of power, not just from the position he held, but from the way Jungkook looked at him; not as a fragile thing to be shielded, but as a weapon to be wielded.
The next few candidates fared slightly better, though none managed to escape Taehyung’s scrutiny without a few beads of sweat on their brow. By the time the final interview concluded, the air in the boardroom was thick with a mixture of exhaustion and electric anticipation.
The candidates had departed, leaving the two partners alone in the silence of the marble sanctuary. The heavy double doors clicked shut, and the professional mask Taehyung had worn for the last three hours didn't just slip; it dissolved. He slumped back into the leather chair, his head lolling to the side as he let out a long, shaky exhale.
"My god," Taehyung groaned, his voice losing its corporate edge and returning to its natural, soft cadence.
"I think I actually enjoyed watching Ms. Song sweat. Was that too cruel? Tell me if I was too cruel."
Jungkook didn't answer immediately. He stood up, his movements slow and predatory as he circled the long table. He didn't stop until he was standing directly behind Taehyung, his presence a warm, heavy shadow that enveloped the Omega. He leaned down, his chest pressing against the back of the chair, and draped his arms over Taehyung’s shoulders.
The scent of cedar intensified, wrapping around Taehyung like a physical blanket.
"Cruel?" Jungkook whispered, his lips grazing the shell of Taehyung’s ear. "Tae, that was the most attractive thing I've seen in this office since we signed the lease. The way you pivoted that question... the way you didn't even blink when she tried to play the 'stable' card... it was masterful."
He shifted his grip, his large hands sliding down to squeeze Taehyung’s shoulders, his fingers kneading the tension there.
"You weren't just a co-founder today. You were the dominant force in that room."
Taehyung leaned his head back against Jungkook’s chest, a small, triumphant purr vibrating in his throat. The validation felt different now; it wasn't the desperate hunger for approval that had plagued his early twenties, but a shared victory between equals.
He closed his eyes, savoring the feeling of Jungkook’s heartbeat drumming against his shoulder blades, a steady rhythm that anchored him in the aftermath of the adrenaline rush.
"I felt like I was channeling you," Taehyung admitted, his voice airy.
"The way you used to look at the board members during those late-night mergers-- that specific kind of silence that makes people start talking just to fill the void. I just... applied it to the interview process."
Jungkook’s lips curved into a smirk, his breath hot against the sensitive skin of Taehyung’s neck.
"Channeling me is a dangerous game, Tae. You might find that once you start enjoying the power, you won't want to stop."
He shifted, his hand sliding from Taehyung’s shoulder to the nape of his neck, his thumb grazing the Omega’s scent gland in a slow, possessive arc.
"But seeing you command that room... it does something to me. It makes me want to see exactly how far that confidence goes."
Taehyung shifted in the leather chair, the friction of the fabric against his skin suddenly feeling too restrictive. He turned his head, meeting Jungkook’s dark, hungry gaze. The Alpha wasn't looking at him as a business partner anymore; he was looking at him as a prize, a challenge, and a lover.
The professional atmosphere of the boardroom, with its cold marble and sharp angles, felt incongruously stark against the heat radiating between them.
"Is that a challenge, Mr. Jeon?" Taehyung teased, his voice dropping an octave.
He reached up, his fingers tugging at the knot of Jungkook’s tie, pulling the Alpha closer until their noses brushed.
"Because I recall someone mentioning that we had a very tight schedule today. Doesn't the 'dominant force' of the firm have a mountain of paperwork to review?"
Jungkook let out a low, guttural chuckle, the sound vibrating through both of them.
"The paperwork can wait. The world won't stop spinning if the CEO takes a brief recess to admire his partner."
Without warning, Jungkook gripped the arms of Taehyung’s chair and pivoted it sharply, pinning the Omega between the leather and his own towering frame. The sudden movement made Taehyung gasp, his heart hammering against his ribs, the adrenaline of the interviews morphing into a different kind of electricity.
Jungkook didn't wait for a response. He leaned in, his mouth claiming Taehyung’s in a kiss that tasted of ambition and deep, marrow-deep longing.
It wasn't the slow, tentative exploration of their early days, but a demanding surge of possessiveness that mirrored the energy of the boardroom. Taehyung let out a muffled sound of surprise, his fingers curling into the lapels of Jungkook’s charcoal suit, pulling him closer until there wasn't a single breath of air between them.
The contrast of the cold, professional setting and the searing heat of Jungkook’s body created a friction that made Taehyung’s head swim.
14
"You think you're the only one who likes the power play?" Jungkook murmured against his lips, his voice a low, gravelly warning.
He shifted his weight, pressing his thigh firmly between Taehyung’s legs, the heavy pressure sending a jolt of electricity straight to the Omega’s core. Jungkook’s hands left the chair, one sliding up to cup Taehyung’s jaw while the other ventured lower, his palm flattening against the cream fabric of Taehyung's chest, feeling the frantic, galloping rhythm of his heart.
Taehyung tilted his head back, exposing the pale line of his throat. He felt the instinctive need to be claimed, the biological drive that always surged when Jungkook stepped into his space with that particular brand of focused intensity.
"I think," Taehyung breathed, his voice trembling slightly, "that you're far too distracted by my 'growth' to remember where we are."
Jungkook’s eyes flickered toward the heavy double doors of the boardroom. They were closed, but the glass walls of the outer office remained a transparent invitation to anyone brave enough to wander.
The risk of being caught; the thrill of the forbidden, added a sharp, metallic edge to the tension. He didn't pull away; instead, he leaned closer, his lips grazing the junction where Taehyung’s jaw met his ear.
"The doors are locked, Tae. But the staff we just hired? They're in the lobby," Jungkook whispered, his hand sliding down from Taehyung's chest to grip the edge of the leather chair, pulling the seat flush against his body.
"They're probably wondering why the 'dominant force' and his partner have gone silent."
Taehyung let out a shaky laugh, his hands sliding from Jungkook's lapels to the back of the Alpha's neck, pulling him down into a kiss that was less about romance and more about hunger.
It was a messy, desperate collision, their tongues dancing with a familiarity that spoke of a thousand shared secrets and a hundred sleepless nights.
Jungkook groaned into the kiss, the sound vibrating deep in his chest, as he shifted his grip to Taehyung's waist, lifting the Omega slightly so he was perched precariously on the edge of the chair.
Jungkook’s hands weren't gentle now; they were possessive, sliding beneath the cream fabric of Taehyung’s blazer to grip the curve of his waist. The Alpha’s movements were driven by a sudden, sharp need to reclaim the space Taehyung had dominated during the interviews.
He wanted to remind the Omega (and himself) that while Taehyung could rule a boardroom, he still belonged fundamentally to the man holding him.
"You're so bold today," Jungkook rasped, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin of Taehyung's neck, just shy of the scent gland.
"I wonder if that confidence holds up when you're not behind a mahogany table."
Taehyung let out a high, needy sound, his legs instinctively wrapping around Jungkook’s hips to pull him closer. The friction of their expensive suits; charcoal wool against cream silk, created a tactile dissonance that only heightened the urgency.
Taehyung’s head fell back, his eyes fluttering shut as Jungkook’s hand ventured lower, the Alpha’s palm pressing firmly against the heat radiating from the Omega's thighs.
"Show me," Taehyung challenged, his voice a breathy invitation. "Show me exactly how distracted you are, Jungkook-hyung."
Jungkook didn’t need a second invitation. He let out a low, territorial growl that vibrated through Taehyung’s entire frame, his hands moving with a sudden, focused urgency. He didn’t bother with the buttons of Taehyung’s trousers, instead hooking his fingers into the waistband of the Omega's briefs and tugging them down just enough to expose the aching heat of Taehyung's core.
The sudden exposure to the cool, conditioned air of the boardroom made Taehyung shiver, but that chill was instantly incinerated by the searing heat of Jungkook’s palm.
The Alpha’s hand found the wet, pulsing opening of Taehyung’s cunt, the skin already slick with the biological readiness of an Omega in the presence of his mate. Jungkook slid two fingers inside with a sharp, decisive motion, eliciting a loud, echoing moan that bounced off the marble walls.
Taehyung’s back arched, his fingers digging into the charcoal wool of Jungkook’s shoulders. The sensation was overwhelming; the juxtaposition of the sterile, corporate surroundings and the raw, visceral intimacy of the act.
"Still so responsive," Jungkook murmured, his voice a dark velvet caress.
He began to move his fingers in a slow, rhythmic curl, mimicking the depth and pressure that Taehyung craved.
"You spent the last three hours playing the ice-cold executive, but your body is practically screaming for me."
Taehyung’s breath came in short, jagged gasps. He felt the shift in Jungkook-- the way the Alpha’s scent of cedar had sharpened, becoming thick and heavy, filling the room until there was nothing else. It was a sensory siege.
Taehyung felt himself unraveling, his professional composure not just slipping, but disintegrating entirely. He was no longer the co-founder of J&K; he was simply Jungkook’s, a shivering, needy thing anchored only by the strength of the Alpha’s grip.
Jungkook’s movements became more insistent, his fingers curling deeper to hook against the sensitive wall of Taehyung’s heat. He watched Taehyung’s expression; the way his pupils dilated until his eyes were almost entirely black and the way his lips parted to let out those broken, rhythmic whimpers.
The Alpha thrived on this contrast: the high-powered strategist reduced to a shaking mess beneath him, his cream-colored suit rumpled and displaced.
Jungkook’s thumb found the swollen nub of Taehyung’s clit, applying a rhythmic, agonizingly precise pressure that made the Omega’s toes curl against the leather of the chair.
Taehyung’s world narrowed down to the point of contact; the slide of fingers, the weight of Jungkook’s body and the distant, muffled sound of the city humming outside their glass sanctuary. He felt the slickness of his own arousal coating Jungkook’s hand, a biological surrender that felt more honest than any contract they had ever signed.
"Please," Taehyung whimpered, the word barely a sound, his head lolling back. "Hyung, please..."
The Alpha paused, his fingers remaining deep and still inside Taehyung, creating a vacuum of tension that felt like a physical ache. He leaned in, his lips hovering just millimeters from Taehyung’s.
"Please what, Taehyungie? Be specific. Tell me exactly what the 'dominant force' of this firm wants."
Taehyung’s eyes snapped open, swimming with a mixture of lust and desperation. He didn't want the professional distance; he wanted the raw, possessive weight of the man who owned his heart. He reached down, his fingers fumbling with the button of Jungkook’s trousers, his movements frantic.
"I want you inside me. Now. I don't care about the lobby, the staff, or the schedule. I just want you, Alpha."
Jungkook didn’t give him a second to breathe. With a sudden, powerful surge, he hoisted Taehyung upward, the Omega’s legs locking instinctively around the Alpha’s waist. The movement was fluid and athletic, a testament to the raw strength Jungkook possessed.
He backed Taehyung against the cold, floor-to-ceiling glass window, the panoramic view of the city skyline providing a stark, glittering backdrop to their desperation. The contrast of the freezing glass against Taehyung’s bare skin and the scorching heat of Jungkook’s chest created a sensory friction that made the Omega’s head spin.
"You want me?" Jungkook rasped, his voice sounding like gravel and velvet.
He didn't waste time with finesse. He ripped the remaining fabric of Taehyung's trousers down with a single, possessive tug, leaving the Omega completely exposed to the air and the Alpha’s predatory gaze. Jungkook’s own trousers were already undone, his hardness pressing insistently against the seam of his underwear, a rigid promise of the completion to come.
Taehyung let out a broken sound, half-sob and half-moan, as Jungkook gripped his thighs and guided himself to the entrance of his heat.
The Omega was drenched, the copious amounts of his slick drooling from his pussy, making the intrusion effortless. With one slow, deliberate thrust, Jungkook buried himself deep inside, filling Taehyung to the brim. The sensation was an explosion of fullness that made Taehyung’se eyes roll back, his fingers clawing into the charcoal wool of Jungkook’s shoulders.
"Fuck, you're so tight," Jungkook groaned, his forehead resting against Taehyung's.
He didn't start a rhythm immediately; instead, he stayed buried deep, letting the biological click of their union settle. He felt the internal walls of Taehyung’s cunt pulsing around him, gripping him with a desperation that mirrored his own.
The air in the boardroom was now thick, saturated with the scent of cedar and vanilla, a heavy, cloying musk that signaled a total surrender of professional boundaries.
Jungkook didn't give him time to adjust to the fullness. He began to move, his hips snapping forward with a raw, rhythmic intensity that echoed through the silent room. Each thrust was a calculated claim, a physical manifestation of the power they had wielded together all morning.
The cold glass of the window pressed against Taehyung’s spine, a stark contrast to the searing heat where their bodies merged. Taehyung’s legs tightened around Jungkook’s waist, his heels digging into the Alpha's back, pulling him deeper, wanting every single inch of him.
The rhythm was frantic, driven by the lingering adrenaline of their professional victory and the sudden, sharp hunger of their biological bond. Jungkook’s breath was a ragged series of growls against Taehyung’s neck, his teeth grazing the Omega’s skin in a way that was almost a mark. He wasn't just taking him; he was consuming him, his movements becoming more possessive, more urgent. Every time Jungkook hit the deepest part of him, Taehyung let out a high, broken sound that was swallowed by the Alpha’s mouth in a series of demanding, bruising kisses.
"Look at the city, Tae," Jungkook rasped, his voice a low vibration that shook Taehyung’s core. He shifted his grip, holding Taehyung’s wrists and pinning them against the glass, exposing the Omega’s chest to the open air.
"Look at everything we just won. And know that none of it matters if you aren't right here, under me."
Taehyung gasped, his eyes fluttering open to see the sprawling skyline of the city below. From this height, the people looked like ants, the corporate wars they had fought appearing insignificant against the sheer, visceral reality of Jungkook’s weight pressing him into the window.
He felt a surge of intoxicating vulnerability, the realization that while he could dismantle a candidate’s confidence in seconds, he was completely and utterly undone by the man currently filling him.
Jungkook’s pace shifted, the raw aggression of the moment transitioning into something more rhythmic and grounding. He released Taehyung’s wrists, his large hands sliding down to cup the Omega’s backside, lifting him higher to ensure every thrust hit the deepest, most sensitive curve of his pussy.
The sound of their friction; the wet, rhythmic slap of skin against skin, filled the silence of the boardroom, competing with the ragged gasps of their breathing. Taehyung’s head fell forward, his forehead resting against Jungkook’s shoulder, his world reduced to the scent of cedar and the feeling of being completely filled.
"You're mine," Jungkook murmured, the words less of a statement and more of a biological decree.
He shifted his angle, his hips grinding in a slow, punishing circle that elicited a long, shuddering moan from Taehyung. The Omega’s internal walls clamped down on him instinctively, a pulsing grip that nearly sent Jungkook over the edge. He let out a low, territorial growl, his teeth finally sinking into the juncture of Taehyung’s shoulder, not enough to draw blood, but enough to leave a blossoming mark of ownership that would be hidden by the collar of his cream suit for hours to come.
The tension in the room reached a fever pitch, the air vibrating with the force of their combined desire. Taehyung felt the familiar, electric build-up at the base of his spine, a tidal wave of pleasure that threatened to drown him. He tightened his hold on Jungkook, his fingers digging into the Alpha's back, his voice a broken whisper against Jungkook's skin.
"Please...Alpha. Come in me, now... please."
With a final, powerful surge, Jungkook drove himself home one last time, his entire body tensing as he hit the deepest point of Taehyung’s heat. He let out a guttural sound, a raw expression of release as he came, filling Taehyung with a warmth that felt like a physical seal of their bond. Taehyung followed almost instantly, his body shuddering in a series of intense, rhythmic contractions that clamped around Jungkook, drawing out every last drop of the Alpha’s seed. He let out a high, keening sound, his eyes fluttering shut as he collapsed against Jungkook, his strength entirely spent.

The silence that followed was heavy, punctuated only by the synchronized, ragged gasps of their breathing. Jungkook didn't move immediately; he kept Taehyung pinned against the glass, his forehead resting against the Omega’s, savoring the lingering tremors that rippled through Taehyung’s thighs.
The city skyline continued to glitter indifferently behind them, oblivious to the raw, biological reclamation that had just taken place in the heart of a corporate empire.
Slowly, Jungkook withdrew, the slide of skin against skin producing a soft, wet sound that made Taehyung shiver. As the Alpha stepped back, the sudden absence of his heat felt like a physical blow, leaving Taehyung clinging to the window for support.
He looked down at himself; his cream blazer rumpled, his trousers pooled around his ankles, and his skin flushed a deep, vivid pink from chest to thigh. He looked like a disaster, and yet, as he met Jungkook’s gaze, he had never felt more composed.
Jungkook stepped forward, his expression softening from predatory to profoundly tender. He reached out, his large hand cupping Taehyung’s cheek, his thumb gently wiping a stray tear of pleasure from the corner of the Omega’s eye.
"You're trembling," Jungkook murmured, his voice returning to that low, grounding hum.
Taehyung let out a small, breathless laugh, leaning into the touch. "I think my legs have officially retired for the day." He paused, glancing toward the door and then back at the Alpha.
"Do you think the new hires can smell us? I mean, the scent of... this... is probably radiating through the vents."
Jungkook let out a low, rumbling chuckle, the sound vibrating in the quiet of the room. He didn't look concerned; instead, he looked satisfied, as if the scent of their union was a flag planted firmly in the soil of their new territory.
He reached down, picking up Taehyung’s trousers and stepping back into the Omega’s space to help him dress. His movements were slow and methodical, a stark contrast to the raw urgency of moments ago.
"Let them smell it," Jungkook murmured, his voice thick with a lingering possessiveness.
"It’s a subconscious reminder of the hierarchy here. They might not know exactly what happened, but they'll know that this office is claimed. They'll know that you are mine and I am yours, and that any attempt to disrupt that balance will be dealt with accordingly."
Taehyung leaned into him as he stepped back into his trousers, the cool fabric feeling strange against his sensitized skin. He felt a warm, viscous drip of Jungkook’s release sliding down his inner thigh, a physical reminder of the depth of their connection.
Instead of rushing to clean himself, he paused, looking up at the Alpha with a soft, glowing expression. The power play of the boardroom had been intoxicating, but this-- the quiet, domestic tenderness in the aftermath was what truly anchored him.
"You're such a territorial brute," Taehyung teased, though he pressed his face into the crook of Jungkook's neck, inhaling the fading scent of cedar and salt.
"But I suppose it's a good thing for the company's morale that the CEO is a devoted Alpha who can't keep his hands off his partner."
Jungkook let out a soft, humming sound of agreement, his arms winding around Taehyung's waist to pull him flush against his chest. He didn't let go, even as he began to guide Taehyung back toward the mahogany table, his steps slow and protective. The room felt different now; the sharp, sterile edges of the boardroom had been softened by the lingering musk of their union. The marble no longer felt cold, but like a stage upon which they had just performed the most honest transaction of their lives.
"We should probably actually meet the staff," Jungkook murmured, his lips grazing the top of Taehyung's head.
He reached over to the side table and grabbed a clean silk handkerchief, gently dabbing the stray smudge of arousal from Taehyung's thigh with a tenderness that made the Omega’s heart swell.
"Unless you'd prefer to let them wait another hour while we 'discuss strategy' on the leather chair."
Taehyung chuckled, the sound vibrating against Jungkook's chest. He reached up to straighten the knot of Jungkook's tie, which had been skewed during their collision.
"As much as I love the idea of playing the mysterious executive, I think we've pushed the 'power move' angle far enough for one morning."
He stepped back, smoothing out his cream blazer and checking his reflection in the glass. He looked slightly disheveled-- his hair was a chaotic halo of curls and his eyes were still hooded with a lazy, post-coital glow, but he felt a sense of equilibrium he hadn't known in years.
Jungkook watched him, his gaze dark and appreciative. He reached out, his thumb tracing the edge of the mark he had left on Taehyung's shoulder, his expression shifting into something deeply proud.
"You handled yourself perfectly today, Tae. Not just in the bedroom, but in the interviews. You've grown into this role faster than I expected."
"I had a very demanding mentor," Taehyung countered, a playful glint in his eyes as he stepped away to gather his tablet from the table.
He felt a lingering warmth between his thighs, a heavy, satisfied ache that reminded him of every single thrust. As he walked, he noticed a slight wobble in his gait, a physical testament to the intensity of Jungkook’s claim.
Jungkook watched him, the Alpha's gaze tracking the sway of Taehyung’s hips with a slow, hungry intensity. He didn't move to follow immediately; instead, he took a moment to survey the room-- the shifted chairs, the rumpled clothing, and the scent of their combined pheromones and the scent of come and slick that now clung to the expensive wallpaper. A small, satisfied smile touched his lips. He liked the chaos they left behind, a secret map of their passion hidden beneath the veneer of corporate efficiency.
"Come on," Jungkook said, his voice regaining its authoritative edge, though it remained laced with a softness reserved only for Taehyung.
He reached out, sliding his hand into the small of Taehyung's back and guiding him toward the double doors.
"Let's go see if our new employees have the fortitude to handle the people who just spent an hour dismantling each other in the next room."
Taehyung let out a soft huff of laughter, leaning his head against Jungkook’s shoulder for a fleeting second before they reached the handle. He took a deep breath, pulling the professional mask back over his features, though he left the edges a bit softer, the glow of the encounter still radiating from his skin.
He felt powerful; not because of the title on his door, but because of the man standing beside him, whose strength was the foundation upon which he could finally stand tall. The double doors swung open with a synchronized click, and the sudden shift in atmosphere was instantaneous.
The lobby of J&K was a master-class in minimalist luxury; all white marble and brushed gold accents and it was currently populated by twelve new hires who looked as though they were waiting for an execution. The silence that greeted the executives was thick, the kind of silence that happens when a room full of people is trying to discern if the air they are breathing is actually oxygen or something more potent.
As Jungkook and Taehyung stepped into the light, the employees straightened their postures instinctively. The scent of the boardroom had followed them out like a phantom; while the corporate air filtration system was top-of-the-line, it was no match for the raw, territorial pheromones of a mated Alpha and Omega who had just reached a peak of biological surrender. The new hires didn't know the details, but their instincts told them that the two people walking toward them were radiating a level of intimacy and possessiveness that felt like a physical wall.
"Good morning, everyone," Jungkook announced, his voice echoing with a resonant, commanding bass that made several of the junior analysts blink.
He didn't smile, but his gaze was steady, his hand resting comfortably and pointedly, on the small of Taehyung’s back. The gesture was subtle, but to anyone with a shred of instinct, it was a clear signal:
This person is under my protection, and he belongs to me.
Taehyung felt a surge of quiet pride, his eyes sweeping over the group. He noticed a few of them glancing at his rumpled cream blazer, then quickly glancing away, their faces flushing a light pink.
He leaned slightly into Jungkook’s touch, a small, knowing smile playing on his lips. The "dominant force" he had projected during the interviews was still there, but it had shifted; it was no longer a shield to protect his insecurity, but a crown he wore with the confidence of a man who was thoroughly loved.
"Please follow me into the briefing room," Jungkook continued, his voice smoothing out into a professional cadence that didn't quite erase the gravelly undertone of his recent exertion.
He led the group toward the conference wing, his hand never leaving the small of Taehyung’s back. The movement was fluid, almost rhythmic, ensuring that the space between them remained non-existent.
As they settled into the room, Taehyung took his place at the head of the table, leaning back in his chair with a slow, deliberate grace.
He could feel the lingering heat of Jungkook’s seed inside him, a heavy, warm secret that made the sterile white lights of the briefing room feel oddly dim. He caught the eye of a young beta analyst who seemed particularly shaken by the atmosphere, and Taehyung offered a small, encouraging nod.
He wasn't the trembling junior anymore; he was the anchor.
"We've reviewed your portfolios," Taehyung began, his voice clear and resonant, though he noticed his breath still hitched slightly when Jungkook shifted beside him.
"Your technical skills are impressive, but at Jeon & Kim, we value intuition over rote execution. We are not looking for employees who can follow a manual; we are looking for partners who can read the room before the room even knows it's being read."
The employees listened with an intensity that bordered on reverence. The air in the room was thick, not just with the tension of a first day, but with the residual scent of the Alpha's claim.
It acted as a subconscious stabilizer, signaling to the staff that while the leadership was demanding, the foundation of the company was built on an unwavering, absolute loyalty.
"The first project on your desks is a risk-assessment of the current logistics chain in the Southeast sector," Taehyung continued, his voice steady despite the way his thighs still hummed with a residual, honeyed ache.
He shifted in his seat, the friction of the fabric against his sensitized skin sending a sharp jolt of pleasure up his spine. He nearly gasped, his hand tightening on the edge of the table, but he masked it as a gesture of emphasis.
Beside him, Jungkook leaned back, his arms crossing over his chest. The Alpha wasn’t speaking, but his presence was an oppressive, warm weight that filled the room. He was watching Taehyung-- not the employees, with a gaze that was dark, heavy, and blatantly appreciative. Every time Taehyung spoke, Jungkook’s nostrils flared slightly, drinking in the scent of the Omega's lingering arousal and the sweet, floral notes of his submission. It was a silent conversation, a private dialogue of hunger and satisfaction that existed in the spaces between the corporate jargon.
"You have forty-eight hours to present a preliminary strategy," Taehyung added, his eyes scanning the room.
"If your approach is too safe, you're wasting our time. If it's too reckless, you're risking our capital. Find the needle."
As the meeting dispersed, the employees filed out with a hurried, almost frantic energy, as if they were escaping a predator's den. The moment the heavy mahogany doors clicked shut, the professional facade evaporated.
Taehyung didn't even have time to stand before Jungkook’s hand was back on him, this time sliding firmly under the table to grip the back of Taehyung’s thigh. The Alpha’s fingers squeezed, a possessive reminder that the public performance had ended and the private reality remained.
Taehyung let out a soft, shaky exhale, leaning his head back against the leather chair.
"You're doing that on purpose," he murmured, his voice thick.
"The way you look at me... you're trying to make me lose my train of thought in front of the staff."
"Well, did it work?" Jungkook asked, his voice a low, dangerous rumble. He leaned in, his scent of cedar and salt intensifying, wrapping around Taehyung like a heavy blanket.
He didn't wait for an answer, instead pressing a slow, lingering kiss to the sensitive curve of Taehyung’s jaw, his teeth grazing the skin just below the ear.
"Because you were practically restless in that chair, Tae. Every time you shifted, you smelled like me. It was distracting."
Taehyung shivered, the sensation of the lingering warmth between his legs pulsing in time with his heartbeat. The power dynamic had shifted three times in the last hour, from professional rivals to primal lovers, and now to a strange, intoxicating blend of both.
He reached out, his fingers curling into the lapel of Jungkook’s charcoal suit, pulling the Alpha closer until their noses brushed.
"I think the 'dominant force' of this company might need a break," he whispered, a playful, needy glint in his eyes.
"My legs are still... protesting."
"A break, huh?" Jungkook echoed, his voice dropping an octave.
He didn't pull away; instead, he shifted his weight, sliding his body between Taehyung’s parted legs and pressing the Alpha’s hardness against the Omega’s thigh. The friction was minimal, but after the intensity of the morning, it felt like an electric shock.
"The board is empty, the staff are terrified, and the door is locked. I can think of several ways to help your legs... recover."
Taehyung let out a soft, melodic laugh that ended in a sharp intake of breath as Jungkook’s hand migrated from his thigh to the waistband of his trousers, sliding inside with a slow, possessive deliberation.
The Alpha’s palm cupped the heat of Taehyung’s cunt, feeling the slickness that remained-- the biological evidence of their union. The touch was grounding, a stark contrast to the high-stakes adrenaline of the morning.
Taehyung leaned into the touch, his eyes fluttering shut as he felt the heavy thrum of Jungkook’s heart beating against his own chest.
"You're obsessed," Taehyung murmured, though he was the one arching his hips into the palm of Jungkook's hand.
"Most CEOs would be reviewing the quarterly projections or checking the stock ticker. You're just... checking my arousal levels."
16
"Quarterly projections can wait; my investment in you is far more pressing," Jungkook countered, his voice a low, humming vibration that Taehyung felt in the marrow of his bones.
The Alpha’s fingers didn't just touch; they claimed, sliding through the remnants of their earlier passion with a slow, rhythmic pressure that made Taehyung’s breath hitch. The boardroom, which had just been a stage for professional intimidation, had morphed back into a sanctuary of primal need.
Taehyung’s head rolled back against the leather, his eyes half-closed. He felt the heavy, pulsing warmth of Jungkook’s palm against his inner heat, a constant reminder that no matter how high he climbed in the corporate hierarchy, he would always be this-- completely undone and utterly possessed by the man beside him.
The contrast was intoxicating: the scent of expensive mahogany and sterile air conditioning clashing with the thick, cloying musk of an Alpha in his element.
"You're impossible," Taehyung whispered, though his hands were now frantically pulling at the buttons of Jungkook’s shirt, desperate to feel skin against skin.
"We have a company to run, Hyung. A reputation to build. We can't just... spend every passing moment like this."
Jungkook let out a short, dark laugh, the sound vibrating against Taehyung’s collarbone. He shifted, hoisting Taehyung up from the chair and pinning him against the edge of the massive boardroom table.
The cool surface of the wood pressed against the back of Taehyung's thighs, a sharp contrast to the searing heat of Jungkook's body.
"The reputation is already built, Tae. We're the most aggressive firm in the city. Why should our private lives be any different?"
"Aggressive is one thing," Taehyung gasped, his voice fracturing as Jungkook’s hand tightened around his heat, "but if the board of directors finds out the CEO is using the conference table as a breeding ground, they might actually start questioning our stability."
Jungkook’s response was a low, territorial rumble that vibrated through Taehyung’s chest. He didn't believe in stability; he believed in possession. He leaned in, his lips grazing the sensitive shell of Taehyung’s ear, his voice a dark velvet caress.
"Let them question it. By the time they realize what's happening, we'll already own the buildings they sleep in."
The Alpha’s hand shifted, his fingers sliding deeper into the slick, pulsing depths of Taehyung’s cunt. The sensation was a sharp, electric jolt that made Taehyung’s toes curl against the plush carpet. He felt the heavy, lingering presence of Jungkook’s earlier release mixing with the fresh arousal flooding his system, a biological cocktail that left him feeling dizzy and desperate.
The power dynamic was a sliding scale, and in this moment, Taehyung was happy to let the scale tip entirely toward the man who could lift him with one arm and dismantle his resolve with a single look.
Taehyung’s fingers locked into the fabric of Jungkook’s shoulders, his knuckles white. He felt the Alpha’s hardness pressing insistently against his hip, a rigid promise of a second round that threatened to eclipse the first.
The professional facade he had spent the last hour carefully reconstructing was crumbling again, peeling away like old wallpaper to reveal the raw, needy Omega beneath. He didn't want the strategy meetings or the risk assessments; he wanted the weight of Jungkook’s body crushing him into the mahogany, the feeling of being completely filled and utterly claimed.
Jungkook didn't give him a chance to overthink it. With a sudden, powerful movement, he swept the remaining folders and a stray tablet off the table, the expensive equipment clattering onto the carpet with a series of dull thuds.
He hoisted Taehyung up, seating him firmly on the polished mahogany surface, the coolness of the wood seeping through the thin fabric of his trousers.
The shift in height put them eye-to-eye, and Jungkook’s gaze was no longer just appreciative-- it was predatory, his pupils blown wide until his eyes were almost entirely black.
"You think you're the anchor of this company, Tae," Jungkook rasped, his voice sounding as if it had been dragged over gravel.
"But look at you. One touch and you're drifting."
He didn't wait for a retort. Jungkook’s hands slid under Taehyung’s cream blazer, gripping the waist of his trousers and pulling them down with a decisive tug. The air hit Taehyung’s exposed skin, sending a sharp shiver through his frame, but it was quickly replaced by the searing heat of Jungkook’s palms cupping his hips.
The Alpha’s grip was bruising, a physical manifestation of the territorial drive that had been humming beneath the surface all morning. He didn't just want Taehyung; he wanted to merge with him, to erase the boundaries between their bodies until there was nothing left but a single, pulsing entity of need.
Taehyung let out a sharp, strangled gasp as the cool air of the boardroom met the searing heat of his exposed skin. He arched his back, his chest heaving against the silk of his shirt, his eyes locked on Jungkook’s.
The Alpha looked as though he were staring at a feast, his gaze tracking the way Taehyung’s thighs trembled, the wet, glistening reality of the Omega's heat now fully visible against the dark mahogany of the table.
"Still drifting," Jungkook murmured, his voice a low, dark rumble. He didn't move to enter him immediately; instead, he used a single finger to trace the outer edge of Taehyung’s opening, swirling through the creamed mixture of their previous union and new, desperate arousal.
The touch was agonizingly slow, a calculated torture that forced Taehyung to feel every nerve ending scream for the fullness that only Jungkook could provide.
"Please," Taehyung whimpered, the word barely a breath. He reached forward, his fingers digging into the muscles of Jungkook’s biceps, pulling the Alpha closer.
The professional mask hadn't just crumbled; it had been incinerated. He didn't care about the folders scattered on the floor or the potential for a knock on the door. He only cared about the heavy, rigid length of Jungkook pressing against his hip and the intoxicating scent of cedar and dominance that was filling his lungs.
Jungkook let out a guttural sound, a primal growl that started deep in his chest and vibrated through the space between them. He gripped Taehyung’s thighs, hoisting them high and wide, exposing the Omega’s most vulnerable depths to the harsh office lighting. With a sudden, powerful surge, Jungkook drove himself home, his length sliding through the slick heat in one fluid, devastating motion.
Taehyung’s world narrowed to a single point of contact, a blinding flash of white light that seemed to reset his entire nervous system.
The impact of Jungkook’s entry was so sudden and absolute that he forgot how to breathe, his lungs stalling as his internal walls clamped around the Alpha with an instinctive, crushing force. He let out a strangled cry, his head snapping back against the mahogany, the cold surface of the table providing a jarring contrast to the searing heat of the man currently claiming him.
Jungkook didn’t give him a moment to recover. He began to move with a relentless, driving pace, each thrust a rhythmic punctuation mark to the silent power struggle they had been playing all morning.
There was no tenderness here, only the raw, biological imperative of an Alpha asserting his place. He gripped Taehyung’s hips with a strength that would leave fingerprints, his fingers digging into the soft flesh as he drove himself deeper, hitting the sensitive curve of Taehyung’s cervix with a precision that made the Omega’s vision blur.
The sound of their union echoed in the empty boardroom; a wet, rhythmic slapping that sounded like a heartbeat in the silence. Taehyung’s fingers clawed at Jungkook’s shoulders, his nails digging through the expensive fabric of the suit jacket.
He felt the heavy friction of skin against skin, the sliding of their bodies creating a friction that felt like it was melting him from the inside out. Every gasp that escaped his lips was a surrender, a confession that no matter how many boardrooms he conquered, he would always be most alive when he was being dismantled by Jungkook.
"Look at me, baby. Look at me who's fucking you so good, you're always begging for more," Jungkook commanded, his voice a low, vibrating growl.
Taehyung’s eyelids fluttered, fighting through the haze of pleasure to lock onto Jungkook’s gaze. The Alpha’s eyes were dark, swirling with a predatory intensity that seemed to strip Taehyung bare, seeing past the corporate titles and the tailored silk to the raw, pulsing need beneath.
In that look, Taehyung saw everything-- the possessiveness, the pride, and a hunger that seemed bottomless. He felt himself dissolve, his identity as a high-powered executive evaporating until he was nothing more than a collection of nerve endings responding to Jungkook’s will.
"I'm looking," Taehyung gasped, his voice a fractured whisper.
He arched his back, his chest heaving as he felt Jungkook hit that precise, deep spot again. The sensation sent a jolt of electricity through his core, causing his internal walls to ripple and clench, his eyes rolling back in their sockets, his lips parted in a silent 'O' and his head thrown back
Jungkook didn't soften the pace; if anything, he accelerated, his movements becoming more urgent and rhythmic. He gripped Taehyung’s wrists, pinning them against the mahogany surface, effectively trapping the Omega between his own strength and the heavy weight of the boardroom table. The physical confinement only heightened the intensity, creating a sense of absolute enclosure. Taehyung felt the Alpha’s scent thicken, the cedar and salt turning heavy and musk-laden, flooding his senses until he could taste the dominance in the air.
"You're so tight for me," Jungkook groaned, the sound vibrating against Taehyung’s skin. He shifted his angle, sliding his hips forward to maximize the friction, his length sliding through the slick, honeyed heat of Taehyung’s cunt with a wet, heavy sound that echoed in the sterile room.
"Even after everything this morning, you still crave more. You're absolutely greedy for me, aren't you?"
Taehyung couldn’t find the words to deny it; he could only answer with a broken, high-pitched keen that tore from his throat. He felt the Alpha’s dominance not just in the physical pressure of his body, but in the way Jungkook’s scent was actively rewriting the atmosphere of the room, drowning out the smell of expensive stationery and polished wood.
He let out a shaky, desperate breath, his hips stuttering in an instinctive attempt to pull Jungkook even deeper, as if the current depth wasn't enough to satisfy the void.
"Yes," Taehyung finally gasped, his voice a raw thread of sound. "More... please, just... more."
Jungkook’s response was a sudden, violent shift in rhythm. He released Taehyung’s wrists, only to slide his hands down to the Omega's thighs, hooking them over his shoulders and pulling him flush against his chest. The change in angle allowed for a devastatingly deep penetration, each thrust hitting the very back of Taehyung’s heat with a force that made the heavy mahogany table groan under their combined weight.
The world became a blur of charcoal grey fabric and flashing white lights, the only constant being the searing, rhythmic friction that was driving Taehyung toward a precipice he couldn't escape.
As the tension coiled tighter and tighter in his lower belly, Taehyung felt his internal walls begin to spasm, clamping down on Jungkook in a series of rhythmic, desperate pulses. The sensation was overwhelming, a tidal wave of pleasure that stripped away his remaining composure. He buried his face in the crook of Jungkook's neck, his teeth grazing the Alpha's skin in a frantic, instinctive mark of his own.
He was drowning in the scent of cedar, his mind blanking out everything but the singular, pulsing reality of the man filling him.
Jungkook let out a guttural roar, the sound echoing off the glass walls of the boardroom as he hit his limit. He drove himself in one last time, burying his length deep within the Omega’s pulsing heat, and held himself there. The release was explosive, a searing flood of Alpha seed that filled Taehyung to the brim, triggering a secondary wave of contractions in the Omega’s walls that felt like a physical vice. Taehyung’s entire body jolted, his toes curling and his head snapping back as he experienced a climax so intense it felt like his soul was being pulled from his skin.
For several long minutes, neither of them moved. The only sound in the room was the ragged, synchronized gasping of their breath. Jungkook remained locked inside, his forehead pressed against Taehyung’s, their sweat-slicked skin gluing them together.
The silence of the boardroom returned, but it was no longer sterile; it was heavy, saturated with the scent of their combined biology and the raw energy of a successful claim.
Slowly, Jungkook began to withdraw. The wet, sliding sound of his exit was punctuated by a soft, shaky sob of contentment from Taehyung. As the Alpha stepped back, the sudden void left Taehyung feeling cold, though the inner heat of Jungkook's release remained, a warm, viscous weight that pooled within him. He slid off the mahogany table with a soft thud, his legs momentarily failing him. He would have collapsed if Jungkook hadn't caught him, sweeping him up into a bridal carry with an ease that spoke of the Alpha's lingering strength.
"Look at this mess," Jungkook murmured, his voice returning to that low, grounding hum. He glanced at the scattered folders and the overturned tablet, a ghost of a smirk playing on his lips.
He didn't sound repentant; he sounded triumphant. He carried Taehyung toward the oversized leather sofa in the corner of the room, depositing him onto the soft cushions with a tenderness that contrasted sharply with the brutality of the last twenty minutes.
The silence that followed was punctuated only by the distant hum of the office’s climate control, a stark contrast to the primal noise that had just filled the room.
Jungkook didn't immediately pull away; instead, he draped himself over Taehyung, his heavy limbs anchoring the Omega to the leather sofa. He spent a few long moments simply breathing in the scent of Taehyung’s skin, the salt and sweetness of their union lingering like a heady perfume.
He reached down to carefully adjust the fabric of Taehyung’s trousers, his fingers lingering on the skin of his hip with a slow, possessive stroke. The transition from the raw intensity of the table to the soft luxury of the sofa was a slow descent back into reality, a gentle landing after a freefall.
"We are absolutely terrible at being professional," Taehyung whispered, his voice still raspy, a small, tired smile tugging at his lips. He leaned his head back, feeling the heavy, satisfying ache in his core that served as a permanent reminder of Jungkook’s dominance.
"We're the owners, Tae. We define what 'professional' means here," Jungkook replied, kissing the tip of Taehyung's nose.
He finally shifted, standing up and offering a hand to pull Taehyung into a seated position. As they began to tidy the wreckage of the boardroom; the scattered folders and the displaced tablet, the focus shifted from their bodies back to the empire they were building.
The transition was seamless, a testament to the duality of their partnership. Within twenty minutes, they had regained their composure, their pheromones settling into a contented, bonded hum. Over the next few weeks, J&K didn't just grow; it surged. The firm had become a disruptor in the corporate landscape, known for a predatory efficiency and an intuitive approach to risk that left competitors scrambling. They had successfully acquired three mid-sized logistics firms, effectively monopolizing the Southeast sector they had briefed their new hires on.
The "aggressive" reputation Jungkook had joked about became their greatest asset, attracting clients who wanted the same ruthless precision in their boardrooms that the duo brought to their own.
However, the vacuum of their shared intensity was occasionally filled by a whirlwind of chaotic energy. This usually arrived in the form of Park Jimin, Taehyung’s closest friend and the firm's newly appointed Head of Public Relations.
Jimin entered their shared executive suite today without knocking, his footsteps a rapid-fire staccato against the marble floors. He was carrying a stack of press releases and a level of excitement that threatened to knock over the expensive minimalist vases in the lobby.
"You two are practically a myth in the industry right now," Jimin announced, sliding into a chair with a dramatic flourish.
He cast a knowing, feline look at them, his eyes darting between Jungkook’s slightly loosened tie and the lingering glow in Taehyung’s expression. Jimin, an Omega with an intuition that bordered on psychic, could smell the territorial saturation of the room from the hallway.
"The rumors are that Jeon & Kim is run by a pair of geniuses who never sleep and possibly share a single, very expensive bed. I’m leaning into the 'power couple' narrative for the 'Fortune' feature. It’s selling the brand, and the investors love the stability of a mated bond."
Jungkook let out a low chuckle, pulling Taehyung against his side in a gesture of effortless ownership.
"As long as the investors stay focused on the dividends and not our bedroom habits, Jimin, feel free to paint us as whatever you like."
Taehyung leaned into the Alpha, feeling a surge of contentment. The firm was thriving, their rivals were defeated, and their biological bond had provided a foundation of security that allowed him to lead with a confidence he had once only dreamed of.
As Jimin began detailing the strategy for the upcoming gala, Taehyung realized that the chaos of their private lives didn't hinder their professional success; it fueled it.
The growth of Jeon & Kim was an anomaly in the corporate world. While other firms were bogged down by bureaucracy, Jungkook and Taehyung operated with a synchronicity that was almost frightening. They could communicate an entire strategic shift with a single look across a boardroom table, a silent language born of shared intimacy and absolute trust.
This intuitive alignment had allowed them to pivot into the logistics sector with surgical precision, turning the Southeast sector into a fortress of profit within a matter of months.
However, the transition from a scrappy start-up to a market leader brought new pressures. As Jimin outlined the PR push, he mentioned a lingering thorn in their side: the remnants of their old employer's network.
While the legal battles were won, the social circles of the corporate elite were slow to forgive. There were whispers of a coordinated effort among a few remaining "old guard" Alphas to blacklist their firm from certain high-society acquisitions.
"It's not a legal threat," Jimin explained, tapping a pen against the mahogany table, "but it's a social one. They're trying to frame you as 'too volatile' because of the nature of your partnership. They want to paint you as a romantic novelty rather than a corporate powerhouse."
Jungkook’s eyes darkened, a flash of the predatory Alpha returning to his gaze. He didn't look bothered; he looked hungry.
He tightened his grip on Taehyung’s waist, a silent promise of protection and a shared ambition.
"Let them try to frame us as a novelty," Jungkook murmured, his voice vibrating against Taehyung's shoulder.
"It'll make it all the more satisfying when we acquire their holdings from under them."
Taehyung smiled, feeling the Alpha's strength grounding him. He took over the conversation, his voice shifting into the commanding tone that had become his second nature.
"Jimin, don't fight the narrative. Lean into it. If they want to call us a 'power couple,' let's give them a version of that which makes them feel obsolete. Schedule the 'Fortune' interview for the same week we announce the acquisition of the Northern Port terminals. Let them see the 'novelty' in the headlines while they're signing over their assets."
Jimin beamed, his eyes sparkling with the thrill of a well-executed plan.
"Now that is a move. I'll coordinate the press releases to hit exactly ten minutes after the official filing. We'll make sure the world knows that the stability of your bond is exactly what makes the firm so lethal."
As Jimin gathered his papers and skipped out of the office, leaving the duo in a momentary silence, the air shifted. The professional adrenaline of the morning began to melt back into the intimate hum that always existed between them.
Jungkook leaned in, his lips brushing against the shell of Taehyung’s ear, his scent of cedar and musk swirling around the Omega once more.
"You've grown so confident, my little executive," Jungkook whispered, his hand sliding down to squeeze Taehyung's hip.
"I can't decide if I prefer you as the one running the boardroom or the one trembling under me."
Taehyung let out a soft, breathless laugh, leaning back against Jungkook’s chest.
"Why choose? I think the firm benefits from both."
The following weeks were a blur of high-stakes acquisitions and strategic public appearances. J&K didn't just survive the 'old guard's' attempts to blacklist them; they thrived on notoriety.
The 'Fortune' feature was a masterstroke, depicting them not as a romantic novelty, but as a new breed of corporate leadership where emotional intelligence and biological synchronicity were the primary drivers of profit.
They were no longer viewed as a risk, but as a blueprint for a more integrated way of doing business.
As the Northern Port terminals were officially brought under their umbrella, the firm's valuation soared. The office culture, too, had shifted. The initial terror the new hires had felt had evolved into a fierce, protective loyalty.
They saw the way Jungkook treated Taehyung-- not just as a partner, but as an equal, and it trickled down through the company. The staff worked with a hunger and a level of trust that was unheard of in the cutthroat world of logistics.
Despite the mounting success, the two found their greatest solace in the quiet gaps between meetings. They had created a sanctuary within their corporate empire, a shared space where the titles of CEO and Partner were discarded in favor of Alpha and Omega.
Whether it was a stolen twenty minutes in the elevator or a long, lingering dinner in their penthouse, the physical bond they shared remained the anchor of their ambition.
Jimin, as the architect of their public image, found himself increasingly amused by the dichotomy of their lives. He would spend his mornings fielding calls from prestigious agencies and his afternoons walking into their executive suite only to find the air thick with a musk that suggested the 'meeting' had been far more intimate than a review of the quarterly assets.
"You two are a menace to productivity," Jimin joked one afternoon, tossing a small, velvet-covered box onto the mahogany desk.
It was a set of custom cufflinks, the gold interlocking in a way that mirrored the logo of their firm.
"The jeweler sent these. He said they're meant for 'the most powerful duo in the city.' Though, looking at the state of your shirts, I’d say the 'power' part is mostly happening behind closed doors."
Jungkook didn't even look up from where he was nuzzling the curve of Taehyung’s neck, his arms wrapped securely around the Omega's waist.
"Productivity is at an all-time high, Jimin. Maybe the secret is just making sure the partner is well-satisfied."
Taehyung laughed, a warm, genuine sound that filled the room. He leaned back into the Alpha's strength, feeling the steady thrum of Jungkook's heart against his spine.
For the first time in his life, the climb to the top didn't feel lonely. He hadn't just found a mentor or a lover; he had found a partner who saw his value both as a strategist and as a mate. As he looked at the scattered documents and the golden cufflinks on the desk, he knew that while the world saw a corporate powerhouse, the true victory was the quiet, pulsing heat of the man who refused to let him go.
The momentum of Jeon & Kim was now an unstoppable force. They had transitioned from a disruptive start-up to a dominant market leader, specializing in high-risk, high-reward logistics that other firms were too timid to touch.
By integrating Jungkook’s ruthless execution with Taehyung’s intuitive grasp of human psychology, they had managed to secure the Northern Port terminals and three other key hubs in record time. Their office, once a site of tension and territorial marking, had become a beacon of a new corporate era-- one where the biological bond between leaders fostered a culture of fierce loyalty and absolute trust among the staff.
Jimin’s PR strategy had shifted from damage control to a curated "dynasty" narrative. He spent his days managing a whirlwind of invitations to exclusive galas and requests for keynote speeches.
He had successfully rebranded their "volatile" partnership as a strategic advantage, framing the Alpha-Omega bond as the ultimate form of corporate synergy. The investors were no longer questioning their stability; they were trying to emulate it, though few had the raw, primal chemistry that Jungkook and Taehyung shared.
Yet, as the firm’s portfolio expanded, a new challenge began to emerge. It wasn't the 'old guard' anymore; they had been effectively dismantled but rather the scrutiny that came with being at the top. The board of directors for their newly acquired terminals began to push for a more "traditional" leadership structure, subtly suggesting that Taehyung’s role as the intuitive heart of the company should be relegated to a supportive capacity rather than a decisive one.
Jungkook noticed the shift immediately. He saw it in the way the terminal managers spoke over Taehyung during meetings, or the way the financial auditors looked to him for the final word on decisions Taehyung had already meticulously planned.
The protective streak in the Alpha flared, not as a desire to shield Taehyung from the world, but as a drive to ensure the world recognized exactly who was steering the ship.
