Chapter Text
"Ah...my dear beloved, my noble and beautiful flower of evil. You are the fairest in the land.
Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the most...
O thee, guided by the Dark Mirror, follow thy heart's desire and take the hand of the one reflected in the Mirror.
Flames that incinerate even the stars, ice that imprisons even time.
The great tree that engulfs even the skies. Fear not the power of darkness
Now
Demonstrate thy powers For me. For them. For you We are all running out of time No matter what...”
“Never let go of that hand~"
Once upon a time in a small village down south, lived a girl with hair as bright as gold and eyes blue as the sky. In this little village, she was quite the peculiar child
As the sun arose to let out its morning rays, an accompanying morning call of the rooster cried out to welcome the residents for a new day
Glimpses of the sun's rays filtered into her nearby window, the girl's eyes slowly awakening from her slumber. She yawned, rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she sat up to stretch her sore limbs from the weird sleeping position she was in
"Ceri! Time to wake up, darling!" Her mother announced enthusiastically, almost slamming the girl's door wide open
"I'm up, I'm up!" Cerese Wixx exclaimed, slapping her cheeks twice before reaching to take her glasses on her nightstand. Her mother went to her closet, opting to choose her daughter's clothes for this morning
"You're gonna be attending Meryl's birthday today, right darling?" She hummed, scrutinizing what outfits her daughter had in her closet. She wrinkled her face for a moment when she saw neatly stacked containers of dead bugs in the corner
"Mhmm! We're gonna eat for a moment before we go out to the fields!" Cerese explained, hastily grabbing her towel to take a shower
"In that case, why don't you try out the new hiking boots your Mommy got ya?" She suggested, looking satisfied at what she chose then neatly placed it on her bed
"Sure! Thanks for picking out my clothes, Mama!" Cerese laughed, knowing her mother has never trusted her again when choosing an outfit for any events. She showed up to her brother's christening ceremony one time in black baggy pants and a loose polo shirt and dirty sneakers. Her parents were pretty mortified afterwards and resolved to fix her wardrobe as much as possible
"Anytime dear" her mother chuckled, leaving the room to leave her to her own devices at last "Oh and don't forget to bring your gift!"
"I will!"
