Work Text:
It’d been quite some time since their last encounter.
Grox waited quietly, leaning against the entrance of the mines for his lover. He’d gotten there a bit early, too excited to meet again, so he knew to be patient.
But 30 minutes had gone by, and Froggy still hadn’t shown up.
An hour passed. Nothing.
Two hours. Three. Four. Frustrated, Grox stood up from his spot, ready to head home until the rustling of leaves and crunching of twigs caught his attention. He squinted his eyes as the light of a lantern illuminated the surrounding area, growing closer and closer until he was met face to face with… Baby villager. Froggy’s son.
The kid’s mouth was agape, clearly not expecting to see Grox of all people here at this hour. His expression almost immediately switched to anger, fist clenching the handle of the lantern. “What are you doing here?!” He was shaking with anger, like a little chihuahua.
Grox took a step back, trying to show that he would be of no threat. “Hey, hey! Chill! I’m not here to hurt you, I was just… relaxing.”
“Liar! I’ll kill you where you stand! Oh, I have no weapons on me, but I’ll beat you good with this lantern!!!”
Baby villager charged, yelping when Grox picked him up by the collar of his shirt. He flailed about, trying to whack the side of Grox’s head with his lantern, but it was far too heavy for him to bring up all the way. Defeated, his motions stopped, while Grox shook him slightly like he was some sort of keychain. “Listen kid, I got no business with you. Just tell me what I wanna know, and I’ll let you go. What happened to Froggy?”
“Hah! Like I’d ever tell you!”
“If you don’t tell me, I’m going to give you a wedgie.”
“No!! Anything but that!! Okay, fine!! I’ll tell you! Daddy is… he’s…”
His voice was cracking. Grox raised his eyebrow in suspicion, but was startled by Baby suddenly bursting into tears, wailing so loud that he’d startled some of the sleeping birds in the branches above them.
“He was attacked!!! I-I don’t know what it was, but one minute we were gathering wood in the forest, and the next… it’s all my fault!! If I never wandered off, he wouldn’t have had to come save me!!! He would still be here if it weren’t for me!!! Wahhhh…” Baby villager sniffled, trying to stop his tears. Grox patted his back awkwardly in an attempt to comfort him, but he felt his heart sink down to his stomach. He felt a pang of guilt for feeling so angry towards Froggy for not showing up.
He set the villager down, saying nothing as he teleported himself back into his room. Time seemed to stand still, and he didn’t entirely register his surroundings - nothing felt real. Froggy was dead. He didn’t really know why he cared so much; what they had would be seen as some sort of fling, a recurring hookup, nothing more than each other’s secret. At least, that’s how he assumed Froggy saw it. Grox knew that, as much as he had been trying to fight it, he had feelings for the hybrid. He wouldn’t admit it, not ever, not unless Froggy said it first.
He was too scared to.
The all-powerful Grox, who struck down anyone without any second thought, was scared of his own feelings. It was laughable. But he couldn’t ignore the tightening in his chest when he thought about Froggy, or how warm he felt falling asleep with him that night. He wanted more of that. He would’ve made Froggy his. They could’ve ruled together, hand in hand. He would’ve even chilled out on how he treated the villagers for him.
And there was nothing he could do about it now.
Grox sighed, flopping onto his bed and staring up at the ceiling. There was a giant crystal chandelier above his bed, something he wanted to bring flair to his room and to make it look fancy. He always had the lighting dim - there was never a need to turn it up to the max, as it was so huge that it lit up the room even on its lowest setting. The ceiling itself was painted a navy blue, and Froggy had told him it felt like he was looking up at the stars in the sky. Grox made a mental note to take Froggy stargazing someday.
Look at him. Getting mushy and in his feelings for someone that had started an entire movement to end his life. It was almost pathetic. He clutched his heart, digging his fingers into his skin until it hurt. It’s not like it mattered now, anyway. He had trouble believing Froggy had died - he was sturdy, and knew what he was doing, clearly. Not even Grox’s own guards could properly apprehend him. It was always Grox who managed to back him into a corner. He knew what Froggy was capable of. There was no way he was dead.
Then again, you can’t really tell when it comes to nature. Man was easy to deal with: somewhat predictable, easy to adapt to, familiar. Nature wasn’t any of those things. As strong and smart as Froggy was, Grox knew that if it really were by an animal, Froggy may have lost. If only he had noticed, or heard something, or even just decided to stalk him a little further that day. Maybe he could have prevented the entire ordeal.
He shut his eyes. It’s best to forget about this, and about Froggy. He just wanted to go to bed. He’d go and take his frustrations out on some villagers tomorrow. God save anyone who barely scraped by on tax collection day, because they were about to feel the full force of Grox’s grief.
Grox tossed and turned, trying his best to fall asleep. 30 minutes had gone by, and absolutely nothing. Every time he was close to nodding off, his mind wandered to Froggy, and he woke back up. He groaned into his pillow, shifting to lay completely on his back. He stared back up at the chandelier, now turned off, the moonlight reflecting off the crystals and painting the illusion of stars up above.
His bed felt so cold. He had a million blankets piled on to him and yet, the space next to him felt so bitterly cold that it was going to drive him crazy. He pulled his hair in frustration, the almost forgotten feeling of tightness in his chest and heaviness in his lungs beginning to sneak up on him. His eyes felt hot, tears threatening to pool if he thought about it any longer. Grox hadn’t cried in almost years now, and it terrified him that it could happen now.
He took a deep breath, shaking his head like it’d get rid of his thoughts. He was about to get up and wash his face, before something sticky landed on his cheek.
Grox jolted up, hand darting to wipe the substance off his face. What the hell was this? He looked at it, reflecting the moonlight in the same manner the chandeliers above did. Was this… spit?
It wasn’t just any spit. He recognised this. Any normal person’s saliva was thin and watery - this one was thicker, and sticky. He quickly looked up, eyes frantically scanning the room for something, anything. He examined every inch of the ceiling he could, trying desperately to find whatever was out of place. At first, he couldn’t find anything. He was too frazzled to see anything clearly. Grox focused, examining the ceiling above him carefully - and he found it.
Hidden in plain sight above him. Admittedly, the chandelier acted as an obstacle, so it wouldn’t have been obvious from the get-go. But once Grox focused in on it, he was able to see the dark outline of someone stuck to the wall. It was moving slightly, but was far too dark to see like this. Taking the remote off his nightstand, Grox turned on the lights to reveal the figure above.
“Froggy…?”
Froggy jumped down, kneeling in front of Grox on the bed. He looked… different. His hair was a mess, and his clothes were torn. His arms were littered with scratch marks, most likely from whatever animal attacked him. As Grox’s eyes moved up his body, he noticed blood staining his white dress shirt, dripping down from his foaming mouth. His eyes were wide and bloodshot, pupils ginormous like he had taken drugs. Which, Grox thought he might’ve, from how much he was shaking. He tried to scoot back, Froggy watching him like a predator observing its prey.
“The hell happened to you?” Grox asked, poking Froggy’s cheek.
Froggy remained silent, nudging his head into the skeleton’s chest and rubbing against him like a cat. Grox stared at him in confusion. “Yo, I’m talking to you.”
The frog sat back up, his own blown-out pupils meeting Grox’s hollow ones. Yet, he remained silent.
Grox was starting to get frustrated. “Where were you? I was waiting for you, and then I ran into your son who said you died. And now you’re here, but you’re all fucked up. What the hell is going on, Froggs??”
Silence. Froggy looked off to the side, and Grox could tell that he wanted to say something. He cleared his throat, speaking quietly.
“I got… attacked,” Froggy muttered. His voice sounded different - it was rougher, and it felt like he was holding back, in a way. “Something out in the woods. It was going to hurt Baby, so I tried to protect him, but it… mauled me.”
He sounded so sad. Grox could feel his heartbeat slow.
“I thought for sure I was dead. I was bleeding out, and I was slowly starting to lose consciousness but… next thing I knew, I had woken up like this. And I felt so, so hungry.” Froggy laughed, but there was nothing funny about the situation. “I found what attacked me. A bear. It was sleeping in its den, but I noticed it was twitching slightly. Kind of like me. So I went up to it, and I…
I ate it.”
Froggy smiled, and Grox quickly noticed how different his teeth looked now. His canines were sharper, and he was clenching his jaw. It was unnerving.
The skeleton swallowed down his growing fear. “Ate… it?”
Froggy nodded. “I ate it, Grox. I tore it apart and devoured it. And after that, I ate a few other small animals. I… I uh… haha. Oh...” He placed his hands on Grox’s shoulders, who jumped slightly at the contact, his heart rate rising. If he had any bodily hair, it’d definitely be standing up right now.
“I ate some of your villagers, Grox. I’m sorry… I’m sorry, I was just… so… hungry…”
Grox’s breathing was shaky. Froggy was giggling hysterically, newly acquired claws digging past the fabric of Grox’s shirt, piercing the soft flesh below. His mind was racing - what the fuck? The bear must’ve had something and given it to Froggy when it attacked. He turned his attention back to the frog, who was now crying. His head rested in the crook of Grox’s neck, tears, spit and snot staining his clothes. He could feel an ache in his chest, gently guiding Froggy’s head to face him.
“It’s… it’s okay,” Grox mumbled softly, a hand cupping the other’s cheek. “I want to help you. Tell me how I can help you.”
Froggy grabbed his wrist tightly, causing Grox to flinch. “I need food. I need to eat. I’m hungry.”
His eyes widened, more than Grox thought they were capable of. Froggy leaned in, eyes locked in on his neck and inhaling the other’s scent. Grox shifted, leaning back.
“You smell divine, Grox.”
He lunged in, only stopping as cool metal hit his temple harshly. Just as quickly as he was about to devour Grox, he had managed to grab his gun off of his nightstand, driving the barrel into Froggy’s head. His finger was pressed against the trigger, and while he was shaking, his expression was stern.
“I’ll shoot,” Grox warned.
Froggy ignored him, plunging back in.
The gunshot echoed through his room, Froggy falling limp to the side, smearing blood all over Grox. The skeleton didn’t dare look down at the corpse. He’d sleep in the guest room tonight, and have the maids clean this up in the morning.
But then he felt Froggy twitch.
He forced himself to look down. What should have been a lifeless body was now picking itself up, swaying side to side. Blood was running down Froggy’s face, dripping onto both Grox and the bedsheets below. Grox couldn’t speak - he was in disbelief. What the hell had that bear infected Froggy with?
“That hurt, Grox…” Froggy whined, resting his head on the ruler’s crotch. Grox held back a moan, trying to push Froggy’s head away, but to no avail.
The poor hybrid was whimpering in both pain and pleasure, clawing at Grox’s torso and rubbing his head against his crotch. Grox was a disgusting pervert for getting turned on from this, trying hard to stall his arousal from showing, but it was pointless. A tent was already growing in his pants, and Froggy certainly didn’t ignore it.
The frog giggled, poking at the growing erection. Grox let out a heavy breath.
“Guess that makes two of us…”
Froggy sat back, revealing his own erection, barely hidden by his shredded pants. Guess the effects of that potion wore off - the same potion that Grox had sitting on his dresser. He’d gone out to find it, curious. He wanted to use it on himself to see what it felt like.
“I see you got your junk back,” Grox teased. “I’m gonna have fun wrecking you again.”
“Huh?” Froggy laughed. “Nuh uh. Don’t think I didn’t notice you stole the other half of that potion from me.”
“What?”
He pointed behind him, the scarlet liquid resting atop the black wooden dresser.
“Ohhhh, that? That’s uh… not mine.”
Froggy turned, opening his mouth to retrieve the bottle with his tongue. Grox shuddered at the sight. Hot.
He reached over, placing the bottle on the nightstand. Froggy unzipped his pants, hands working quickly as he pulled his erection out from the slit of his boxers. He signaled for Grox to do the same, who did as told.
“We’ll use that later.”
He spit on his hand, a giant glob coating his palm as he grabbed both of their lengths, slowly pumping up and down. Grox moaned quietly, hunching over. Froggy pressed his forehead against Grox’s, eyes struggling to keep themselves open as he stared down to watch his hand. He was careful not to hurt his partner - moving his hand rhythmically and increasing his speed. Unlike Grox, Froggy sounded like he was growling. It teetered between a moan and a growl, which should have been weird to Grox, but it was turning him on.
He kept going for a couple seconds more - both of them were close, the two twitching in his hand, Grox throwing his head back.
But just as he was about to cum, Froggy let go.
Grox whined. “Oh come on, why did you stop??”
Froggy pointed back to the potion. “Drink.”
He hesitated, but Grox did as told, grabbing the bottle and popping off the lid. There wasn’t much in it, so it was easy to chug. It tasted like cherry juice, though it had a bitter aftertaste.
Not too long after, he felt tingling down in his crotch area. It felt overwhelmingly hot; so hot that it was almost unbearable. Grox rubbed his thighs together, trying to rid himself of the feeling, before it suddenly went ice cold. After a moment, the feeling subsided.
And his dick was gone.
Froggy hummed in approval, but suddenly jolted up, getting off the bed and holding his face. This startled Grox, rushing to pull his pants back up and scramble to Froggy’s side. “Yo, you good?”
He tried to place a hand on Froggy’s shoulder, but it was smacked away. There was an increase of saliva dripping down from the hybrid’s mouth, who spoke through gritted teeth. “You need to leave. It’s… it’s starting back up again…”
When Grox didn’t move, he pushed him. The skeleton stumbled backwards, and was honestly about to argue with him, but Froggy looked like he was in pain. He was groaning like a wounded animal, and it seemed like he was trying to fight off something. A low rumble came from his stomach, putting the pieces together for Grox.
Froggy was hungry.
Without another word, Grox bolted out of the room as fast as he could. If weapons couldn’t even stop Froggy like this, then there was no point in trying to fight him off. He could faintly hear Froggy in the distance, and from the sound of it, he was busy consuming one of his staff. Better them than him.
He wasn’t sure where he should go. It was risky to remain in the castle, and he’d forgotten his command block to teleport somewhere far away. He settled on just getting out of the kingdom, at least.
Grox was already starting to tire, but he had to keep going. He ignored the ache in his legs as he darted out of the castle, taking a secret path to exit the kingdom; it was an escape route for him and him alone, in case of any emergency. He ended up in the surrounding woods, only slowing down when he was sure that he was deep enough in that Froggy wouldn’t be able to find him. He fell against a tree, the burn from overworking his muscles finally catching up with him. At least he had a little bit of time to rest, and figure out just what the hell he was supposed to do about Froggy. He didn’t know what he contracted, or if it was even curable.
He sighed, eyes fluttering closed before snapping wide open. A rustle could be heard in the distance, Grox jerking up and scanning the area for something.
“Grox…”
His heart dropped. Froggy emerged from one of the bushes, even more disoriented than before. He walked over to Grox slowly, like a predator closing in on its prey. All Grox could do was weakly push himself into the trunk that supported him, far too weak and exhausted to get up and run. He pulled out his gun, pointing it in front of him with trembling arms.
“Stay back.”
Froggy grunted. “Oh, put that down. I just want my dessert.”
“You’re crazy if you think I’m just going to let you kill me.”
“That’s not what I meant. We still have unfinished business.”
Grox raised his eyebrow, but got the memo the moment his eyes landed on the tent in Froggy’s pants. Still there after killing half my staff, interesting…
He blinked, and suddenly Froggy was towering over him. Something about how crazy and wild Froggy looked turned him on. He tossed his gun to the side, leaning up to jam his lips into the frog’s, arms wrapping around the rabid man’s neck as he deepened the kiss. It didn’t last long before Froggy pulled away, and practically tore Grox’s pants off. He wasted no time ripping off his boxers, throwing them to the side carelessly and diving face-first into his cunt. Grox mewled, thick muscle exploring every crevice of his new genitalia. He tasted absolutely lovely, but it wasn’t enough. Not like this.
A sharp gasp left Grox as he felt Froggy’s tongue wriggle its way inside of him, going as deep as it was able to go, coated in both Grox’s wetness and his own saliva. The skeleton beneath him squirmed, breathing heavily. He bucked his hips up every time the frog’s tongue rubbed against his g-spot, the familiar feeling of tightness and pleasure increasing with each movement. Grox closed his eyes, allowing himself to drown in the feeling of bliss as Froggy continued to use his tongue to fuck his insides. He became more desperate, just barely about to fall over the edge and cum.
He shivered as he felt Froggy retract his tongue, about to whine in protest before he was flipped onto his knees, back arched and ass in the air. He heard the sound of a zipper, eliciting a small squeak when he felt something heavy rest itself on his butt. Without warning, Froggy jammed himself inside, earning himself a high-pitched moan from Grox. He didn’t hold back at all, mercilessly drilling himself into Grox, watching how the skeleton’s body twitched and squirmed with every thrust, trying its best to hold up even when it was so clearly tired out from running so far. He moved a free hand to grab a fistful of the ruler’s hair, pushing his face into the ground.
Grox, on the other hand, had to turn his face and allow his cheek to rest against the cool dirt, arms limp at his side as Froggy fucked into him from behind. If he had human eyes, they’d be rolled up into the back of his head. He had been trying hard not to voice his desire - but it was becoming increasingly difficult with every thrust Froggy delivered. He felt like a fleshlight, with no other use than for the rabid frog behind him to fuck into him like an animal in heat. His entire body felt hot, and he could feel tears prick at his eyes. He yelped when he was flipped over onto his back, Froggy’s arms pinning him to the ground as he continued to fuck into the wither skeleton’s hole. Splotches of drool landed on Grox’s stomach, and when he looked, he could see a slight bulge pop up with every thrust. Froggy pressed down on it, a choked whine coming from Grox at the pressure. Shit, was that really how deep he was going?
Froggy returned his hand to its original position, head held high in delirium as he carelessly voiced every thought on his mind.
“God, can you imagine… the beloved Lord Grox, being fucked like a common whore out in the woods by me,” Froggy snarled. “Finally shutting up that mouth of yours. All the… ngh… ‘aight bets’ and shit… look at you now. You can barely say a word.”
Grox smirked weakly. “A..Aight, bet. Challenge… hah… accepted.”
Displeased, Froggy pulled out, slamming back in extra hard. Grox screamed, the sudden jolt of pleasure shocking his body. He giggled, pleased with still being able to successfully rage-bait Froggy, even in that state of his. Victory was short lived as he found himself back on his knees, cheek smushed against the grass and Froggy ramming into him with even more vigor than before. Froggy was pulling on his hair tightly, so much so that he had brought Grox’s head up from the ground. He wasn’t letting up - he should have been starting to tire by now, but he wasn’t letting up. The pace set was brutal, each thrust delivered swiftly and so deep that Grox was sobbing. Tears poured from his eyes as pleasure struck his body like lightning, feeling the knot inside his abdomen get closer and closer to untying. His legs were starting to buckle, but Froggy held them in place, fucking Grox like his life depended on it.
Spit had dampened the dirt underneath him, and he could feel slick running down his thighs, Froggy fucking most of it back into him. His mind was hazy, with only one clear thought: Get bred. Froggy was fucking him so brutally and roughly that he thought for sure he’d get him pregnant, and Grox wasn’t exactly opposed to it at the moment. Any other time, he’d be the one to knock up Froggy; but right now he wanted the frog to dump his load inside and get him pregnant. Create an heir to the throne. The thought of Froggy breeding him excited him, walls convulsing around Froggy’s cock.
He didn’t care what the villagers would think. He didn’t care how it might affect his reputation. He also didn’t care that it was definitely impossible, since the potion wasn’t permanent. A man could dream.
“F-Froggy,” Grox wailed, just barely able to speak. “Cum inside me, fuck it so deep into me that I.. mmngh… holy shit, just g-get me pregnant…!”
Above him, Froggy growled like a dog, digging his claws into the flesh of Grox’s hips. He didn’t stop, fucking into Grox as hard as he could, instincts screaming at him to pump Grox so full of cum that there was no way he’d leave here unfertilised. He got sloppier, feeling himself get closer to cumming, the sound of Grox’s moans and whimpers fueling him. He looked at the empty space on Grox’s shoulder. He wanted so badly to bite down into the soft flesh, so much so that his teeth ached. Whatever he had contracted was demanding Froggy drive his teeth into Grox’s shoulders, but he fought against it, not wanting to infect Grox with his illness.
The first to cum was Grox. He came with a shriek, squirting all over Froggy’s dick, euphoria ringing through him like ripples in the water. He was ecstatic, cunt pulsing from such an intense orgasm. Froggy’s orgasm followed, who opted for biting into his own hand to satisfy his needs. He almost howled, flooding Grox’s insides with hot cum and attempting to fuck it deeper.
For a second, everything was still. Froggy was panting wildly, his body twitching much less. Grox was spent, shivering when Froggy pulled out and his legs shaking. They finally betrayed him, dropping the skeleton to the ground. Froggy hovered above him, wiping excess spit from his mouth and watching as his cum spilled out of Grox’s hole. He licked it up, the other squirming from the overstimulation, but it was the best he could do to clean his partner up. When it was (mostly) clean, Froggy slid his pants off completely, putting them on Grox. There were tears, but Grox’s pants had been ripped to shreds, so it was the best he could do.
Froggy plopped beside Grox, taking a deep breath. Weakly, Grox turned back over onto his back, staring up at the stars. “That was intense.”
“Yeah… sorry,” Froggy replied, laughing softly. “I’ll have to find a potion to cure it.”
Grox shrugged. “I mean, I wouldn’t totally mind this.” Froggy playfully hit him, laying down to gaze at the stars as well.
It was nice, sitting in silence like this. The two of them watched the stars twinkle in the night sky, the moon washing them in its gentle light. Grox wouldn’t mind staying like this for the night, but the brisk air was starting to make his nose runny. He wasn’t well adjusted to colder temperatures, having been born in the Nether, and Froggy would begin to slow down due to his frog biology.
“Aight, I’m cold. Take me home.”
Froggy sat up, smiling sheepishly. “Ah, right, I kind of… ate some of your staff. Sorry.”
Grox groaned. “Whatever. I’ll have whoever’s left clean it up. Just take me home, Froggs.”
“As you wish, my lord.”
