Work Text:
Most times he wouldn't have thought twice about the clang of metal and the sound of someone groaning in pain coming from an alley filled with garbage. That was something that happened in New York. There was breakfast to worry about, and coffee to be drunk, and people to avoid that seemed to be intent on staring at him on the street even though he had his hood pulled down far enough to hide most of his face. But the voice behind the pain was familiar enough to stop him, peeking his head around the corner of the building to stare at the body laying on the ground now.
Strands of web floated down like snow, and he trailed their path upwards, head tilting in confusion at the mass of webs slung between the buildings.
"Fancy meeting you here, Webs. Whatcha doing on the ground?" He took another bite of the wrap he had bought, and smiled when he heard another groan come from the body on the ground, this one filled with annoyance.
"That's a great question, Wade. I wish I could tell you."
Peter didn't move from the ground, and Wade drew closer. Still eating, taking a moment just for himself to study the face that was still scrunched up in a mix of pain and confusion. It was still fascinating to see, and he was still scolded when he was caught staring, but the fact that Spider-Man trusted him enough to finally show his face was something he hadn't been able to quite wrap his head around.
He knew Spider-Man. Peter. Pretty.
"You're staring."
"I sure am baby boy. You're still laying on the ground."
There was a deep sigh, and finally, Peter pushed himself from the ground. Webs draped over Peter's shoulder, and his face was bruised. Faded enough that if Wade had to hazard a guess, he had gotten into a fight within the last few days, his body already healing through most of the damage and leaving that last faint smattering of faded brown and yellow across his cheekbone. "You're looking rough Spidey. You getting into fights without me?"
Peter's shoulders raised, just barely, and Wade frowned at the sight. He looked… scared. Wade didn't like that at all, something small and sharp twisting in his chest as Peter looked around like he was trying to make sense of where he was. His voice was soft when he spoke, and quiet in a way that Wade hadn't heard many times before. "I don't… I don't know what happened. I can't remember last night."
There was a joke in there somewhere, about a few two many drinks. Kids these days, even though he wasn't a kid anymore. Alien liqour perhaps. How he had been there before to be followed by a laugh. "You got a key to get back in?" Peter's hand immediately went to his thighs where his keys would be in his pockets, if only he had been wearing pants. Something that Wade was studiously ignoring and being as polite and proper as he could about that situation. Maybe a quick picture wouldn't hurt - no, Peter would not appreciate that. "Come on then. Looks like we're doing a little break and enter." His voice dropped to a whisper, grinning as he pried one of the windows open that looked out over street level. "Don't tell Spider-Man, he wouldn't approve of this."
That, at least, made Peter chuckle. Shaking his head at the words before he was crawling himself through the window first, and Wade made sure to press his fist firmly into his mouth to make sure nothing inappropriate slipped out before following him in.
By the time he managed to crawl through, falling into a heap on the floor of the buildings laundry room, Peter had already dressed. Wade stared up at him from the ground as he tugged at the shirt that he had stolen, whistling at the sight and grinning when he saw colour flood Peter's cheeks. "Shut up, Wade. Don't even say it."
"Lookin' real juicy from down -"
"Zip it."
Rolling to his feet, they made their way to the elevator. Letting Peter duck behind him when it stopped on the main level to let on another tenant. He could see the way the woman was eyeing him up, a flicker of something hot spiking through him before the woman's eyes narrowed. Uh oh.
"Are those my clothes?"
Peter panicked, words tumbling from his mouth that would no doubt incriminate him further. "What? No? Why would you -"
"Don't be silly, sweetheart. He pulls them off better than you could anyway."
That got him a punch against the back of his ribs, groaning at the pain that shot through his muscles. "Wade! Shut up!"
Whatever other questions she might have had were cut off when they reached Peter's floor, and Wade watched the way he tried to turn himself as he walked to keep the sparkled letters along his ass hidden. A shame, really.
Peter began to open his door, almost stumbling back before trying to yank it back shut. "On second thought, I'm fine actually. Kind of tired. Probably best if you went home, and I'll just message -"
The first thing that went through Wade's mind was that Peter was hiding someone in his apartment. A swirl of anger and jealousy flaring up that had him pushing the door open before Peter could stop him. He just wanted to see who was there. Who Peter was hiding.
Webs coated the surfaces of the apartment, draped from ceiling to wall, to couch, to computers, to everything in between. Masses strung together and dusting the apartment in a sheen a sparkling white that had Wade stunned. "Woah," he gasped as he stepped through, dragging a finger through some of the webs and watching them break apart, wrapping around his finger. "Did Spidey have an accident? What, one of your web cannisters blow up?"
"I… Yeah, I guess?"
Peter was already moving through the apartment, rushing around to try and clear as much of the mess as he could. Scooping webs into his hands, white strands wrapping around his waist as Wade made his way through the apartment. They were everywhere. He had always wondered what would happen if one of them exploded, and this, he supposed, was show enough. Looking through the window gave him a view of the nest he had seen from the ground, wondering what had made Peter decide that out there was better than simply cleaning up the night before.
"Sorry, I just - Give me a minute and you can sit." Peter was still rushing around, tidying webs and clothes as he went, and Wade leaned over the desk to stare at the monitors that were still running. Brushing strands from the screen as he studied the displays that had been left up, systems monitoring what looked to be Peter's body. Hormones. Spidey levels high.
Interesting.
He turned and watched Peter for a moment, stumbling over a mess on the floor before he started to walk closer. It was just curiosity, really. He didn't want to make him nervous. Even still, with as quiet as he was, and with how preoccupied Peter seemed with shoving garbage into a bin with his back still to Wade, he saw Peter's shoulders tense and raise. The faintest tick of his head like he almost went to look behind him, leaving Wade wondering if Peter even knew that his body was already tracking him even when he was focused on something else.
"So what's going on in that freaky little body, Webs?" He said it teasingly enough that Peter whipped himself around, face already flushed.
"Nothing! Everything is fine and normal and not weird."
"Uh huh. Yeah, that was like, the most convincing thing I've heard. Have you considered a career in acting? You'd make a cute actor."
He was closer now, and Peter had taken a few steps backwards in an attempt to keep the distance between them. He squinted, leaning in, and could see the way Peter's eyes changed. Pupils growing, covering the soft brown of his eyes, swallowing it almost whole. "What the heck is going on with your eyes?" It was said out loud, more to himself, but Peter shook his head immediately.
"There's nothing going on with my eyes."
"Liar, liar, pants on fire. Yes there is." Wade stepped even closer and Peter's breath rushed out, inhaling deep through his nose on the next breath in, and the black that had taken over his eyes bled out just a little further. Maybe he was pushing too far, but sue him, he was curious. He glanced down instead, watching the way Peter's fingers wrapped around one of his own wrists, massaging at the tendons along the soft spot of skin. Something white dripped out, and Wade immediately perked up. "And what is this oh my god are you leaking webs?"
He knew he had a problem with speaking first, acting first, without thinking of what might come next. But he was special enough to get to see Spider-Man without his mask. He got to see all of his cool gadgets and tech that he made, and eat take out with him on rooftops. He had spent far too many years studying him from afar, and months now studying him up close. So whatever this was now, was absolutely new and out of the norm, and it was just so fascinating.
Wade grabbed at Peter's wrist and raised it up, squeezing at the same spot he had been massaging seconds before. There was a strangled sound that followed, more web fluid leaking down Peter's forearm before Wade felt his back crash against a wall.
Huh. When did he get here?
The black that had been in Peter's eyes leaked out, filling the white of them and finally Deadpool stilled. Angry spider. What did you do with an angry spider? Show it your not a threat? How do you do that? Spook him so he scurries away? Stay still?
Suddenly there was a nose pressed into the skin of his neck, an undignified squeak coming from himself when he felt Peter inhale once more. Dragging across his throat, heated breath following the path of Peter's face. Just as fast, Peter was gone, half way across the room with a hand over his mouth, eyes returned to the brown that Wade was now used to seeing.
"Oh my god, I am so sorry. That was so weird. I'm sorry, I don't know what the hell that was. That was… Oh god, what the fuck." Peter's face had gone bright red, and he darted over the mess that he had been cleaning towards the tiny bathroom that was nestled in the corner of the apartment, calling over his shoulder. "Go home Wade."
The door slammed, the sound of the shower starting filling the soft silence, and Wade stared at the spot that Peter had been.
Okay, so there was definitely something going on. And he had planned on waiting, patiently, before annoying Peter enough that he finally snapped and spilled all the dirty details of whatever the things on the monitor meant. But minutes kept passing, and the shower kept running even though Wade knew there was no way in hell the water was still warm, and eventually Wade recognised that Peter would not be coming out until Wade had left.
Stupid spidey hearing could probably tell that he was still out there even if he stood dead still.
He made sure to close the door a little harder, just in case, so Peter would know that he was gone. He could wait a few days at least before finding a way to drag the information out of him. He just needed to be patient.
**
Patience was not one of his virtues. In the slightest. It took all of two hours before he was sending a text to one of the only numbers saved in his phone, giggling when he saw the read appear beneath the message just a few minutes later. A bubble appeared, typing, then disappeared. Reappeared, then stopped once more. So he sent another.
deadpool: u get ur place all cleaned up?
deadpool: also r u like a real spider now?????
spidey: no
spidey: same as i've always been
spidey: there's nothing wrong with me
deadpool: didn't say there was spideyyyy, just never seen u get so wild b4
He sent another message at the same time one appeared from Peter.
deadpool: kinda hot
spidey: i was NOT wild
deadpool: u want a wrist massage let me know and i am there
spidey: stop
deadpool: i'll kiss em better if they r sore <3
spidey: pls stop
deadpool: u can use ur new webs on me any time
The read receipt popped up, but this time no typing bubble appeared. Wade waited for it, staring at the screen until it dimmed before he pouted. No fun. He wanted to see the new webs in action. The fact that Peter's body was producing it on its own was something he wanted to see in person. Used on him would be even better. Kinky. He had his mouth webbed shut more times than he could count, he was sure it would take nothing for it to happen again.
The chance didn't come until a few weeks later though, a slew of havoc spread across the city that kept them both on their toes. And Peter was so wrapped up in whatever was going on he didn't even bother to lecture Wade once over some of the bad guys that may have died while he was around.
As it stood though, he had a spider next to him, unmasked, swallowing down bites of chinese food that Wade had bought just for them. At least he wasn't complaining about Wade spending money on him.
"Whoever it is, they're strong. I don't like it. They nearly got in my head." Wade had leaned back, feet dangling from the edge of the building, suddenly too focused on the little metal chip that seemed to be latched to the back of Peter's neck. It glowed a steady green, and Peter scratched idly at the skin near it before he took another bite. "You see anything like that before? Or Logan, maybe?"
"Mmm, nope. Sorry baby boy, wolvie's got no clue either. So what exactly -"
Before he could even finish the question, Peter jolted. Spine snapping straight, choking on a breath and the fork that had his next bite dropped back into the take out dish on his lap. The light on the chip flashed yellow, then red, and Peter shuddered as he ripped it from his skin.
"Ouchie. Lemme guess, Avengers 2.0 wants to know where you are at all times." He gave a mocking gasp, hand to his chest in pretend offense. "Is it me? Are they still upset that you made friends with a big, bad mercenary?"
He would have kept going, teasing Peter over their own questionable friendship, as if he didn't know that Peter made time for fucking Frank of all people. But the words died off when Peter shoved the food away, dropping sadly from the edge of the roof and hopefully onto some unsuspecting person walking by and then he was stumbling backwards. Gasping as he grabbed at his head, eyes squeezed shut and pressing his forehead against the stone of the roof like he was in pain, and suddenly Wade found it not so amusing anymore.
Peter rolled onto his knees, muttering under his breath and Wade could just hear the words whispering out as he tried to stand again. "Make it stop, make it stop, make it stop -" Peter's head snapped to the side, eyes focusing in on feather that shuffled across the roof. Wincing and turning his stare onto Wade's feet as he stood, flinching at the sound of a seagull in the distance as if it had been screamed directly into his ear.
He could see the stumble of Peter's feet, veering far too close to the edge of the building. It took less than a few seconds to grab at him, dragging him back from the edge and crowding him down against the roof. Peter's eyes flickered around at every faint noise, flinching and shuddering, eyes painted black, and for that same uneasiness Wade had felt before returned. Then those eyes focused on him, and Wade could almost swear there was a low rumble coming from the base of Peter's throat.
His back found the ground again. Wincing at the ache that formed in his jaw where Peter gripped, squeezing so hard he thought there might be an imprint left in the bone. "Oop, you got a firm grip there, Spidey. Kinda hur-"
"Stop talking." The words were bitten out, followed by another inhale as Peter's nose dragged beneath his jaw.
"Okay. Yup. No talking. Got it. Coolcoolcool. I can-"
Something sharp dragged across his skin, Wade's skin warming under Peter's breath. Was Spider-Man's mouth open and on him? Had he died and gone to heaven? Surely he must have, for all of his exemplary behaviour, dealing with all the bad guys and making the world a better place because this was so far beyond a gift he could have ever expected.
The pressure increased and he went to move his hands yet they stayed where they were, pressed against the ground beneath Peter's grip. Risking a peek down only to find them covered in webs that he could barely feel, trapping them to the roof. "Uhh, Peteypie, you're…" He giggled, and he knew it was probably not the time that he should be talking, but his mouth still moved before he could stop it. "You're leaking all over me. Super hot. Love it. Will definitely jerk off to this later but maybe -"
Whatever his mind had decided to say next broke apart in his throat, groaning at the feeling of teeth sinking into his skin just above his collarbone. Too sharp. Human teeth didn't do that, he would know. He had been bitten, again, more times that he would like to admit. Human teeth didn't sink into skin that easily. Human teeth didn't make his skin feel like it was burning from the inside out.
"Wait. Wait. Petey. Spidey. Hi, hey, uh, quick question. Not to ruin the mood -" Peter's head raised, just enough to catch sight of black eyes locked onto him from the side of his face. There was a smear of red along Peter's bottom lip and god, if that sight didn't make him rock hard. The burning beneath his skin grew uncomfortably stronger, and he could feel the way his body fought against whatever was there. "Are you, like, poisonous? Oh wait, no. Spider's would be venomous, right? Are you? Venomous? Cause that bite is kinda, like, burning and I feel like my skin is melting more than it already has before and -"
Maybe it was the rambling that managed to snap Peter out of it - he would like to think so. It was something he considered a talent. But at some point, the black that had filled Peter's eyes faded, and he sat up so fast he nearly fell backwards off of Wade's hips.
"Ya know, I think you might need to accept that there is something going on," Wade started, ignoring the way the pain slowly began to lessen even though his muscles loosened without thought. It felt as if he was melting into the roof, a slow haze making his brain finally quiet down.
"I'm fine, Wade. There's nothing wrong with me." Peter still hadn't moved from him though, trying to peel away the mess of webs around one of Wade's hands.
"Come on. Clearly your little spider brain is trying to do something and I am sooo willing to be a test -"
"There's nothing wrong!"
Wade giggled, relaxing even more. Peter's weight shifted, one hand of Wade's now free and yet still unable to will it to move. "Feral little spider needs to hunt something down." And Wade nearly shuddered, grin splitting across his face when he saw Peter's pupils expand once more, leaking black out into the whites of his eyes with just the word hunt. "Yeah, that's what I thought. Spider brain likes that, huh?" And what a sight it would be; he would get to see Spidey let loose, maybe even get killed by him because duh, spiders kill their prey and Peter would get it out of his system and he would come back a few minutes later. A changed, very horny man, but alive nonetheless.
"Wade… It's fine. I'm fine. It's just a stupid hormone change that needs to be controlled, and then -"
"I think you just need something to sink your little fangs into." The black spread further, and Wade felt like he struck gold. "Lucky for you baby boy, I'm right here and so, soo willing. I'll wrap myself in a little bow and everything. Let you get it all out of your system, yeah?" The weight against his hips shifted, and even though he couldn't move his body, Wade cheered inside his head. "You already know you can't kill me forever. Come on, Spidey. Let it out."
For a split second, there was a sliver of guilt that reared itself up. Maybe it was a little manipulative. But Peter wasn't taking care of himself, and clearly it was messing with his head, so really, Wade was actually doing him a favour. "What if you don't, and you hurt someone because of it. Better me than them, right? Just give it a try." Okay, maybe a lot manipulative. Whatever. He already knew he had a place in hell, this was small potatoes compared to the rest of his life.
"Fine."
The word was so quiet, Wade almost missed it. "Sorry, what was that Spidey? You just agreed with me?"
"Not… Not tonight. Let me just -" Peter sighed, breaking apart the last of the webs and standing as if Wade's body had burned him. "Let me just adjust first."
"Alrighttt." Wade grinned, head lolling to the side. Then he tried to make himself sit up, a small grunt leaving his throat and his body staying stationary on the ground. "Lemme just -" He tried again, yet every muscle remained uncooperative, stuck against the roof. "Uhh, I don't think I can move." Then he smiled even wider. "Oh my god, can you web me home? I feel like a damsel in distress!"
Peter hesitated, and then finally bent down to lift him from the ground. Picking him up so easily Wade swore his stomach was left on the ground. "My sweet spider baby is so kind to me," he sang, and Peter's grip tightened enough that he could feel his hip bone creak.
"Shut up, Wade."
He would do no such thing. And by the time they had swung half way to Wade's place, the feeling was slowly coming back into his limbs.
**
Time to adjust. Wade decided that perhaps he'd shoot the next person that pissed him off because it had been another week and Spider-Man was ducking him. At first, he thought it was a fluke. Bad timing and all that poetic shit. But twice, he had come across Peter, webbing and fighting his way through whatever perp of the night dared to disrupt the peace, not a single missed call on his phone, and twice - not once, twice - he's seen Wade and spun his ass away.
By the third time it happened, Wade was left wondering if maybe he actually did something to upset him. Had he said anything out of line that night? He didn't think so. Maybe Peter saw just how manipulative he was being, telling him that he should use Wade instead of risking innocent lives. Okay, maybe, just maybe, that had bothered Peter more than he was willing to admit and then he had spent all of his free time going over the words until it all came back to Wade and just how shitty of a person he was.
He stuck to the shadows this time, watching from a distance. Enough space that Peter wouldn't run the second he was done, yet close enough that he could jump in if some big bad decided to try and sneak up on his favourite superhero.
It happened quick. One second, he saw Spider-Man doing what he always did. Kicking ass, taking names, webs flying all over the place. And then the metal tail - or at least what Wade thought might be a tail - was ripped free, and Peter slammed it against the ground. Hard. Too hard. Hard enough the Wade could feel it through the pavement even from his spot, and he could see the police car it hit crumple under the pressure of it all.
That was not normal. Spider-Man didn't hurt people. Spider-Man didn't act so brash. That was more of his forte, and even then, he didn't have the strength to do what Peter just had. Peter didn't even spare the police that had gathered a glance as they dragged the woman's body from the car, crouching down in front of the man he had been fighting.
Wade stepped out of the shadows, and Peter stiffened before the man. Sirens blared in the distance, lights flashing bright over the crowded streets, and there could have been a hundred people between Wade and Peter. Yet Wade watched his head lift, nose to the sky for just a second, and then Peter's eyes were on him. Even through the mask and even with all that distance, he could tell that it was him Peter was looking at.
Just as Peter went to take a step toward Wade, a police officer stepped in front of him and he could see the way all the fight suddenly left. Taking a shaky step backward, shaking his head at something. A brief glance sent Wade's way one more time before he was suddenly taking off, rushing in the complete opposite direction.
Now that simply wouldn't do.
His plan had originally been simple. Go to Peter's, and wait the little spider out. He was bound to show up eventually. Before he could even make it half way towards Peter's apartment, he got a text.
spidey: ok lets do it
Wade stopped dead in the centre of the sidewalk, ignoring the person that proceeded to walk into his back. Perhaps shooting the next person that pissed him off could wait, because Spider-Man - his favourite superhero - had just asked to hunt him. Letting him be the bait for whatever weird spider hormone shit he had been dealing with, and wasn't he just the luckiest guy in the whole world?
deadpool: name a time and place baby boy and i am thereeeeee
deadpool: christmas came early
deadpool: would it be cheesy if i brought the mistletoe?
deadpool: should i wrap myself in a bow?????
He stayed glued to his spot, grinning at his phone like an idiot. It was only when another person shouldered past, cursing under their breath at him for blocking the street that he pulled his gun. "Those are so big words for someone that doesn't have one of these bad boys," he called out happily, and his smile only grew when the person rushed away. Peter would probably be so proud he hadn't shot them.
The phone in his hand lit up, and Wade nearly squealed with how excited he was.
spidey: tonight, no suit
spidey: i'll find you
Okay, now surely he must have died and gone to heaven. The last message was enough to send a shiver down his spine, and Wade wasted no time in rushing to the closest place with some of his clothes, suit half torn off before he had even made it through the door.
A hole blasted the wall not far from his head, and he didn't even sigh. "It's almost embarrassing how bad your aim is," he told Al as he stumbled through the house, making sure to toss his belt in her direction just to hear her curse. "But no chit chat, I got a hot date tonight Al. I gotta look my best."
"God save that poor soul," she muttered back, flicking the ash from her cigarette towards the table.
He clicked his tongue in return, coming to a stop and standing in front of her with his hands on his hips, still pantsless. "Now, now. There is no room for judgment on one's money situation when you can't even afford a real kettle." He eyed up the pot on the stove, ignoring the frown that formed on her face. "Ah! There they are. Al are you stealing my undies? I would not have left these bad boys out unless I meant to wear them."
"Is that what's been stinking this place up?"
"They do not-" He stopped, wrinkling his nose for a minute before sighing and tossing them towards her on the couch. "No. No, you're right. Petey-pie deserves better than that." He disappeared again, stumbling out of his room once he had found clothes he deemed acceptable. Normally, he would have wanted something that would catch Peter's attention, something that would make his eyes roll and a groan leave him that he could store away in his brain for later.
But tonight was special. He had to do his best to blend in, and really try this time.
"Alright, you blind old bat. I'm off for my date. Wish me luck."
"Don't you dare bring him back here."
Wade laughed sharp and loud, stealing the cigarette she had been smoking from her mouth. "Oh, you dirty dog. You wanna listen, huh?"
"I said -"
"God, you're such a pervert. This is why we get along, Al. You just get me."
He slammed the door shut, inhaling the cigarette before tossing it onto the street. Now it was time to walk. And wait. God, he hoped Peter actually showed up. It was a little - mostly - the excitement of it all that he was looking forward to. But the issues that he had seen were starting worried him, and he didn't want his little spider going off the rails just because he was too nervous to let loose.
The streets were still filled, a city that truly never slept, and Wade continued walking along them. Meandering through crowds outside of bars, dipping through alleys to cut past empty areas. He walked along the edge of the Park, hands shoved in his pockets, itching with the need to pull out his phone to message Peter and see if he had even started yet.
But that might distract him, and he needed to keep an eye out for something cute and suspicious. Studying the walls of the buildings, the rooftops, the trees. Each drawn hood caught his eye, frowning the longer he went without spotting Peter.
And then he saw someone freeze in the centre of a crowd, willing his heart to stay dead still. Ducking just past a food truck and peering out from the side, Peter's head tilting just slightly in his direction. Again, his face was lifted up, and Wade's heart kicked when he had a sudden thought of Peter simply sniffing him out. And that sharp, irregular beat had Peter's head turning, eyes scanning the crowd of people between them.
Ducking behind a group of people, he kept his head down until they rounded the corner. Glancing back and nearly giggling at the way Peter was now suddenly missing. He didn't wait to find him; Wade continued on, sticking to the more crowded areas that were leading him back towards the Park. Doing regular scans of the space in front of him, to his sides. There was the feeling of eyes on his back, yet he only risked turning once and found no trace of Peter in the group of people.
Then that same feeling came from his left, and he veered right as he looked over his shoulder. There. God, what a rush. How lucky was he to see those eyes focused on him through the crowd. Not that he was losing their little competition yet; he just needed to make sure wherever this happened, there was no one that would find them. There was no doubt in his mind that the spider lurking in there was a little pent up at best, and perhaps erractic - volatile - at worst.
Whatever Peter needed to get out of his system, it was best no one saw.
He remembered how hard the punch he had gotten in the elevator was and winced. Why had he signed up for this? Right. Peter was his closest friend and the hottest thing he had ever laid eyes on and Wade would let him use his own katanas on him if it meant another second of being pinned down beneath that body. Super chill thoughts, really.
Another look back, and Peter was gone once more, so Wade veered towards the treeline. He kept his pace slow for the moment - no need to draw attention to himself just yet - and wandered deeper into the park, until the last bits of conversations drifted away. Only then did he glance around, no sign of Peter still even though he knew he could feel eyes on him from somewhere.
The trees around him grew thicker, the night quieter. He could still hear the drone of cars in the distance, horns honking and disrupting the silence, but nothing close. Then he caught it, a rustle of leaves above him to the right. "Ha! You thought you were sneaky but I know you're up there baby boy!"
The leaves quieted, and Wade squinted up, looking for a flash of the sweater that Peter had been wearing. Nothing. "Fine then. Just you wait until I -" He turned as he muttered to himself, pausing at the sight of Peter standing in the direction he had been walking. "Hi, Spidey. You're probably wondering what a nice girl like me is doing in a place like this, but I'll have you know I fre-"
There was a slick sound, and Wade managed to dodge the web that shot towards him just in time with a surprised laugh. "Oh my! You didn't even buy me dinner first and you're jumping right to bondage?"
Another web, and that one was much closer. Not to mention Peter was much closer, and how had he moved that fast, and that quiet? Wade took another few steps back, grinning through the racing of his heart. Oh, this was fun. "You haven't -" Peter was suddenly in front of him, and Wade swore he could stare into those freaky, black eyes for hours. That was followed by a grunt as the air was knocked from his lungs, wheezing under the force of the hit to his gut. "You haven't asked my safe word, Webs! It's avocado, if you're wondering. I can't think of any reason I would -" Another hit was aimed for him, and Wade finally blocked it, taking a step back under the force behind the fist before he managed to kick his foot hard enough into Peter's stomach he flung backwards against a tree.
A few steps back, and Peter just slowly got to his feet, but didn't follow. "Oh, are you letting me run? Extra kinky, Petey. However I'm not a fan of running, so mayhaps you can give me a head start and I'll -"
"Go ahead."
Peter speaking stole the words from him, pausing at the interruption. "Okay. Cool. Yeah, I'll just -" He pointed over his shoulder, continuing to walk backwards and shivering - just a little - at the way Peter simply watched him leave. Waiting until he was out of sight before Wade finally turned and broke into a jog, wondering how far his favourite spider would let him get.
The answer was not far, and not because of Peter himself. He barely made in thirty seconds in before he felt something bind up around his knees, stickier than he had felt before and Wade was struck with the fact that Peter had laid a trap. He had laid a trap and lured him in like a fly on a web and oh my god, wasn't that a sexy little thought.
He tried to kick the webbing off his shins, tugging at the strings that seemed to not want to let go. Letting out a huff of air when he heard the faintest crunch of leaves, turning to meet Peter's stare as he stalked slowly closer. He circled around him, and Wade felt that sliver of uneasiness return. Hot and tight, low in his gut and oh. Yeah, this was definitely a turn on.
Very few people could give Wade a run for his money. Spider-Man being one of them? Hot. Spider-Man staring down at him with eyes that had bled black, half feral and only trusting him to get it out of his system? He would do this every day if Peter asked.
"Wait, are you going to like, roll me up in a web? I'm still down either way, I'm just trying to figure out what the actual - oh!" There was a Spider-Man pinning him to the ground. Calm down. "Actually, double wait. Are you going to eat me? Not that you can't, you know I'll regrow whatever you wanna take. You know what, scratch that whole thought, take what you want baby boy. Just a little heads up would -"
A hand shoved at Wade's head, groaning at the force of his cheek smacking against the ground. Grass was soft, but not that soft. And just as fast, that thought was gone as Peter's nose traced over his skin, breathing in the scent of him.
He was supposed to do something, right?
Right. Get it out of his system. Do a little fighting. Make him work out the spider hormones or whatever.
And really, Peter's wrist was right there. Pressing across one side of his face to pin it down, so focused on Wade's neck that he wasn't paying as much attention as he should. He turned his head the little bit that he could, lips squishing down beneath the pressure of Peter's wrist and felt the moment Peter tensed.
Not fast enough, spidey.
His teeth latched against Peter's wrist, clamping down harder than he normal would. Two things happened at the same time. One; Peter jolted, a strangled sound slipping from his throat, hips shifting against Wade and he knew there was no hiding just what this whole situation was doing for him. Two; teeth sank through the skin of his throat, shooting sparks of pain into his blood that burned through him immediately.
There were seconds left before the burning stop and the muscle loss began. Squeezing his teeth tighter around Peter's wrist just to be gifted with another choked off sound, another slow press of Peter's ass against him before fingers were prying his mouth open. Was that Spidey's breath he could feel on his face? Heaven.
"Wade," Peter hissed out, shuddering the moment his wrist was pried free. "Wade, I think I might just devour you."
"God, Spidey - baby - I am soo aware that is supposed to be a threat but fuck yes."
Teeth dragged over his jaw, and Wade shuddered at the sting that went with it. If his hands could move, he might just let himself grab at Peter's hips, but alas, his fingers barely twitched when he tried to move them, groaning in frustration at the loss.
Peter straightened himself up, weight settling back firmly against Wade's hips. There was crimson smeared across his lips, and Wade could feel himself grow harder at the sight of his blood in Spider-Man's mouth. And when he watched Peter's tongue slide along his lip, clearing some of that red there, Wade thought he just might pass out.
"Alright. Okay. You caught me, baby boy. As fun as this is, let's get this show on the road because I am gunna have a serious case of blue balls if you don't take me out soon."
Hands travelled slowly over Wade's stomach, and he sucked in a breath at the open touch. "I caught you," Peter murmured softly, more to himself than to Wade.
"Yeah. Yeah, you sure did. Now -" Whatever he had meant to say was wiped from his mind when Peter's hips rolled, and now he was sure he must have actually never left the house and was actually just dreaming. Maybe he actually got hit by that fuck-ass tail he saw Spidey swinging around and was currently passed out in some alley.
Leaning down, Peter's nose brushed beneath his jaw. "Mine." A tongue laved over his neck where the bite had been, and then he heard the cutest little whine of disappointment his eardrums had ever been blessed with. Teeth buried into his skin again, and a tremor shook through his frozen muscles, groaning at the way Peter's tongue probed at the skin right after. There was a tearing sound, and god, Wade wished he could have seen Peter's hands ripping his shirt open. That would easily make it to top five in the Spidey Spank Bank.
And that thought was quickly wiped away by another bite, this time on his chest. "Spidey, I am not complaining. I am having the time of my life, cross my heart and hope -" A groan slipped from Wade when teeth once more found purchase above his hip. " - hope to die. But this is a lot less fighty and a lot more - fuck!"
Peter's nose pressed against the bulge in his pants, soft breaths heated enough that he could feel each one through the fabric. "No biting!" Then Wade groaned at the feeling of Peter's mouth running along the length of his cock through the fabric. "Okay, maybe just one. Just so I can say Spider-Man bit my dick and then -"
Fabric slid down Wade's thighs, and he almost laughed. "Good call. It would have be hot to have you rip those off but I don't think New York would have enjoyed seeing my naked ass walking out of the park later."
There was a commotion above him, and Wade tried to watch what he could, heart thundering inside of his chest because he had clearly misread the signs. Convincing himself that Peter had wanted to get the hunting part of his spider nature out of his system and not - oh god, he might just come at the thought - the mating nature of it.
He took back what he had thought earlier of this being heaven. Clearly, only hell could devise a way to make Spider-Man so feral he wanted to fuck, only to leave Wade frozen and unable to look down to watch it all properly.
"We're gunna have to do this again, baby. I need a front row seat and this is nosebleed at best." Everything was just out of sight, peering down his nose and going cross eyed trying to watch the way Peter's body lowered against his own. Knees pressed at the sides of his hips, and then something slick ground against him and Wade was pretty sure he saw stars. "Was that what took you so long? Do you know unfair it is that I couldn't watch?!"
A brush of lips found his neck, and then teeth once again lodged into his skin, venom still seeping beneath his scars and into his blood with every bite. Pain filtered through, fading even faster. His head swam at the rush of it all, eyes rolling shut when something - Spidey - Peter - shifted and slid down his cock, a broken, feral sound slipping through the air above him.
"God, if you're real, this is so not fair," Wade whined towards the sky. Peter moved, leaning in to bury his face against Wade's neck. Rolling his hips as if he was testing the movement, breaths falling out in soft pants against Wade's skin. "Oh this is like every wet dream I've ever had come true. And here I thought you just really need to catch something in a web! Can you believe - oh f-fuck…" Peter's body moved again, and there was a rush of heated pleasure that spiked through him far too easily. "I am so sorry to be a disappointment, but you're gunna need to slow that roll baby boy, or I am gunna bust faster than you can spell C.I.A."
The movements didn't stop, and Wade tried to force his lungs to slow. Focus. Gross things. Al in the bath. His foot growing back after his leg got cut off. Sad puppies. Peter looked like a puppy sometimes, big brown eyes staring up and god, wouldn't that be a sight on his knees and - nope, not helping.
"Hey, hey, wait. Questions! I have them, I -" The roll of Peter's hips quickened, and Wade's words dissolved into nothing for a few sharp breaths before he managed to collect himself. Barely. "I thought you said I didn't set off your spidey senses! How did you find me so fast? Were you being a sneaky little liar this whole time?" He tried to make a joke of it, anything to force his mind to focus on something other than the way Peter's body gripped around him.
The sound of Peter's voice just below his ear, half muffled against his neck, did absolutely nothing to help. "I followed your scent." Hot. So fucking hot. "I found a heart beat that was too slow. Too calm. And then I looked for the spot in the crowd that didn't set my senses off." Peter's mouth opened, tongue dragging over his skin and teeth scraped once more over his throat. God, those eyes staring up at him were terrifying. How was it making it even hotter?
Peter pushed himself upwards, and even though Wade couldn't see what it looked like, he could feel it, and that was more than enough for now. There was a twitch of his fingers, but his hand didn't lift. Not yet. So close. A stuttering of Peter's breath caught his attention next, watching the way his chest dipped, the way his head tilted back and caught sight of too-sharp teeth half hidden behind parted, blood stained lips. Blackened eyes rolled above him, barely managing to lift his hands enough to reach Peter's hips even though it shot pins and needles up his arms.
He couldn't even drag Peter's body down. Couldn't guide him, or keep him where Wade wanted - so fucking close it was embarrassing. Peter's body tensed, squeezing around him, coating Wade's belly in warmth and he groaned. "Fuck, you're gunna be the five minute death of me baby. Holy shit. You can kill me like this anytime."
There was a hand squeezing at his shoulder, so hard he felt the protest of his bones aching though it all. Another crashed his head to the side. And then Peter's teeth snapped around his throat, too deep, too sharp - Wade shuddered as he felt the way teeth clipped the artery there, wanting to scold himself for that being the reason he finally fell over that edge. Drinking down the moan that vibrated from his spider across his skin. His hands continued to barely move, trying to brush his thumb against Peter's hips.
When Peter pulled away, there was something flickering across his face that looked far too satisfied. Wade was pretty sure it was one of the hottest looks he'd seen yet. Then the black that had filled Peter's eyes retreated, the small tilt of his lips that had been there falling before his eyes went wide at the sight beneath him.
"Oh, god! What the fuck Wade. I'm so sorry - I didn't mean to go -"
"Spidey. Baby. Peteypie. I am about to die a very happy man." A sharp sound left Peter at those words, and vaguely he wondered if maybe he should have chose something else. "Mm-mm. No worrying. Wake me up in a couple min-" He hadn't even gotten to finish the sentence before the world around him swam, vision blurring and then going dark. God, he couldn't wait to get back to Peter.
**
When he came to again, he had a spider curled up on his chest. A mess of brown hair curled up, Peter's face hidden against him. "Oh, hello. I wouldn't mind dying a couple more times if I got to wake up like this."
Peter shot up, and he winced at the streaks of tears that stained his skin. "Wade! Shut the fuck up! What is wrong with you?" There was a punch to his shoulder, groaning at the spike of pain and wishing he would have swallowed it down with how fast the anger left Peter and returned to regret. "I could have seriously hurt you! Why would you let me do that?!"
"Uhhh, that's actually the whole thing, remember? You can't hurt me. Duh."
"You know what I mean!"
"Mmm, nuh uh. I'm already wondering when there's gunna be a round two so if you -"
"You cannot be serious, what the hell is -" Peter paused, a hint of pink rushing into his cheeks with the pressure he had felt as he sat up. "Are you seriously hard right now?"
Wade grinned, pushing himself up onto an elbow to trace his fingers over the slowly healing marks of teeth on his neck. "No, baby boy. That's my special gun. I like to keep it in a safe place."
"You're ridiculous."
With a grunt, Wade twisted their bodies to press himself down over Peter. He hadn't even wiped at his face yet, apparently too focused on the whole Wade-dying thing, and there was blood still staining his lips and chin. Without thinking, he leaned down, licking over the fluid and grinning when Peter tried to follow after his mouth.
"For realsies this time though. You feel better?"
Beneath him, Peter paused. "I - Yeah… I do." He looked away as he said it, refusing to acknowledge the grin that was spread across Wade's face. "It's like I can feel it in my head. It's just… settled."
Wade moved slowly, Peter's eyes tracking his hand as it reached for his own. Slowly bringing it up between them, breath catching when Wade brought Peter's wrist back to his mouth. His tongue dragged over the sensitive area, and Peter choked beneath him, yet his eyes didn't change. "See, look at that," Wade teased, doing it again just to see the way Peter would squirm. "I think we should do it one more time, just to make sure. You're a science guy, right? Science guys love experiments."
The blush returned, yet Peter's eyes stayed focused on the tongue that pressed against his wrist, letting his leg hook around Wade's hip. "I'm not hunting you again."
There was a pout from Wade, then he leaned back. "That's alright. I got plenty other ways settle you down. You ever hear of yoga? I heard it's good for the soul and -"
Peter grabbed at Wade's shoulder, yanking him down and the rest of his words were muffled against Peter's lips. "You got any use for that mouth other than talking?"
There was a moan from Wade at that, grinning against Peter's lips. "Oh, I got all kinds of use for this mouth, baby boy. But I got a price, you know. A girl like me don't come cheap."
"I won't complain about you buying me food for the next month."
There was a kiss pressed against Peter's hip, the skin twitching under Wade's mouth as he worked his way lower. "Now we're talking. I'll make sure to give it my -"
"Wade."
Another kiss was pressed just a few inches lower, taking his time to admire the sight beneath him. This time he had no intention of wasting his chance to see everything he could. Starting with what Spidey looked like fucking into his mouth. "Shutting up now," he warned with a grin, and there was a frustrated noise from above that quickly turned into a moan, and Wade swore it was like music to his ears.
