Work Text:

In Aphrodite's palace, a miracle occurred: a baby boy was born. The only child in his family, he was cherished by his five older sisters and his mother, Aphrodite. Jake, now a demigod, lived surrounded by his family's love.

The palace was sumptuous and its gardens were filled with magnificent flowers. Jake spent his days admiring the flowers in these lush gardens.

Despite the grandeur of the palace, Jake, though small, stood out for his growing beauty. Slightly shy, he had no trouble making friends. Sunoo, Cupid's son, became his best friend, and together they loved to play pranks and tease his five sisters.

Hyori, Yuri, Aeri, Hyejin, and Yeojin, each of them possessed exceptional beauty, adding even more charm to Jake's life in this setting encased in splendor and love.

Jake sat in the garden, gazing at a bed of vibrant roses. At Aphrodite's palace, it was always spring, and the flowers were always in full bloom. He loved spending time there, surrounded by this timeless beauty.

Hyori, the eldest of his sisters, arrived first. "Jake, what are you doing here all alone ? The gardens are beautiful today, aren't they ?" she asked, smiling.

"Yes, the flowers are superb. I always wonder how they manage to be so colorful," replied Jake, amazed.

Yuri, the second sister, soon joined Hyori. "It's true, they are incredible. You know, if you want, I can teach you how to grow flowers like these" she offered.

"Oh, that would be great! But I'm a bit clumsy with plants. Sometimes they wilt as soon as I touch them," admitted Jake, a little embarrassed.

Aeri, the third sister, arrived laughing. "Don't worry, Jake. It's a matter of patience and practice. We can help you improve," she reassured him.

"But why do the flowers wilt as soon as I touch them ?" asked Jake, his voice tinged with frustration.

Yeojin, the youngest of the older sisters, responded by placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Perhaps you're still too young to understand all the subtleties of divine gardening. The flowers sense your nervousness and your fear of causing harm. But don't worry, with time and our help, you'll learn."

Hyejin, who had just joined them, said, "And in the meantime, why not play a little ? Sunoo is already in the palace; you could go see him. He's surely prepared something fun!"

"Okay, thank you. I'll go see Sunoo then," said Jake, feeling a little better thanks to his sisters.

The six family members left together laughing, with Jake heading towards the palace to join his best friend, Sunoo, while his sisters continued to enjoy the eternal garden.

Jake headed towards the palace, where he found Sunoo tinkering with something in one of the light-filled rooms. Sunoo looked up and smiled when she saw Jake enter.

"Hey, Jake ! Are you coming to see what I'm cooking up ?" Sunoo said enthusiastically.

"Yes! What are you doing this time ?" asked Jake, curious.

"I'm trying to make a magic kite. If it works, it will fly all by itself in the sky !" replied Sunoo, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Wow, that looks great! Can I help you ?" offered Jake.

"Of course! Here, you can tie this string here," said Sunoo, handing her a spool of thread.

Jake took the string and began to tie it. "You know, I was in the garden with my sisters. They offered to teach me how to grow flowers," he said, smiling.

"That's great ! You're going to become a gardening expert. But why do you look a little sad ?" asked Sunoo, noticing his friend's expression.

"Well, every time I touch a flower, it wilts. My sisters say it's because I'm nervous or afraid of hurting them," Jake explained.

"Ah, I see. Maybe the flowers sense your emotions. You know what? We can train together. I'm sure that with a little practice, you'll be able to make them grow beautifully," said Sunoo, patting Jake on the shoulder.

"Thank you, Sunoo. That's a good idea. And afterwards, we can play with your magic kite!" replied Jake, regaining his smile.

"Absolutely! In fact, I'm almost done. Just one more little knot here... and there you go! Ready for a test flight?" Sunoo asked excitedly.

"Yes, let's go!" exclaimed Jake.

The two boys ran outside, eager to see the magic kite take flight, their laughter filling the air of Aphrodite's palace, where it was always spring.

Years passed, and Jake grew into a young boy. His beauty, inherited from his mother Aphrodite, drew everyone's attention on Mount Olympus. Even the gods themselves were captivated by Jake's elegance and charm. Wherever he went, he was adored and admired, his presence illuminating every place.

Jake was often invited to lavish parties in other divine palaces. The gods and goddesses welcomed him with joy, fascinated by his aura and charisma. One evening, as he was getting ready for one of these parties, Hyori entered his room.

"Jake, are you ready? This evening at the Palace of Dionysus promises to be incredible," she said, adjusting the collar of her tunic.

"Yes, I'm ready. I heard everyone will be here tonight," Jake replied with a smile.

"That's true. You know, everyone's talking about you, Jake. Your beauty and kindness are admired by all," added Yuri, who had just arrived.

"Sometimes it makes me nervous. I'm afraid I won't live up to their expectations," Jake admitted, looking down.

"Don't worry, you're perfect just the way you are. They love you for you, not just for your beauty," Aeri reassured her, giving her a warm hug.

"And besides, you've always been yourself, that's what matters most," added Hyejin with a smile.

"Come on, don't keep everyone waiting. Shall we go?" said Yeojin, taking Jake's hand.

Jake, accompanied by his sisters, headed towards the palace of Dionysus. The evening was vibrant, filled with laughter and music. The gods and goddesses greeted him warmly, each seeking to speak with him and spend time with him.

"Jake! Come join us, we've just started a dance," called Sunoo, already in the middle of the dance floor.

"I'm coming!" Jake replied, laughing.

He mingled with the crowd, his presence illuminating the evening. Everywhere he went, he brought joy and wonder, reminding everyone why he was so special.

During the evening at the Palace of Dionysus, Jake strolled among the guests, greeting the gods and goddesses with his usual charm. Music played and laughter filled the air. As he admired a magnificent sculpture of Dionysus, a young boy his own age approached him.

"Good evening, you must be Jake," the boy said with a smile. "I am Jungwon, the son of Zeus."

Jake turned to him, surprised and delighted. "Good evening, Jungwon! Yes, it's me. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"The pleasure is mutual. Everyone here is talking about you. They say your beauty rivals even that of the gods," Jungwon said, laughing slightly.

Jake blushed slightly. "Thank you. I've heard a lot about you too. Being the son of Zeus must be impressive."

Jungwon shrugged with an amused smile. "It's an interesting life, that's for sure. But tonight, I just want to have fun and meet new people."

"Would you like to take a look around? There's so much to see here," suggested Jake.

"With pleasure," replied Jungwon.

The two boys began exploring the palace together. They stopped to admire works of art, chat with other guests, and sample the delicacies offered at the feast. They discovered they had much in common, despite their different divine origins.

"So, what are you guys doing for fun, Jake?" Jungwon asked as they sat down by a fountain.

"I like spending time in the gardens and playing with Sunoo, Cupid's son. And you?" replied Jake.

"I like challenges and adventures. My father says I inherited his competitive spirit," Jungwon said, laughing.

"That sounds fun. Maybe we could try something together sometime," suggested Jake.

"I would love that," Jungwon replied enthusiastically. "Adventures are always better with friends."

The evening continued, and the two boys spent the rest of the time laughing and sharing stories. A new friendship had just been born under the bright stars of Mount Olympus, further strengthening the bond between the young demigods and their extraordinary world.

เณƒโ€โžท

Years passed, and Jake grew into a young man, still as handsome and charming as ever. He had matured and gained wisdom, while retaining his innocence and kindness. He watched his sisters navigate their own romantic experiences and sometimes heard mysterious noises coming from their rooms. However, Jake remained pure and innocent, having never known love.

One day, Aphrodite summoned Jake and his sisters. She announced that a grand banquet in honor of peace on Mount Olympus would take place in seven days and last for five nights. All the kingdoms and gods would be present. Aphrodite tasked them with preparing speeches and melodies for the occasion. Jake, being the only one who played the violin-a skill he had learned from one of his sisters-began to rehearse diligently.

Sunoo came to the palace to help with the preparations. "Jake, you know that Athena's son will be there! I can't wait to meet him, apparently he's a handsome boy," Sunoo said enthusiastically.

Jake smiled and replied in an amused tone, "Instead of talking about who will be at the party, wouldn't you like to help me?"

Then, in a softer, almost dreamy voice, he added, "I would like to fall in love..."

Sunoo looked at him, surprised, but pretended not to have heard anything, even though he fully intended to help his friend achieve this wish.

The days passed quickly, and the day of the banquet arrived. The palace was magnificently decorated, and a festive atmosphere reigned everywhere. Jake, dressed in his finest attire, greeted each of the guests with grace and courtesy.

"Good evening Jake, I present to you my friend, Heeseung, son of Athena," said Jungwon elegantly.

"Good evening!" replied Jake with a radiant smile.

Everyone seemed drawn to Jake, eager to talk to him, to compliment him. His presence lit up the banquet. But suddenly, he felt an icy stare on him. Turning around, he met the piercing gaze of a young man with an impassive expression, who seemed to be staring intently at him.

"Sunoo, do you know who that boy over there is?" Jake asked, a shiver running down his spine.

Sunoo looked in the indicated direction and paled slightly. "Yes, that's Hades' son. He really scares me," he murmured.

Jake couldn't tear his gaze away from Hades' son. A strange fascination compelled him to learn more about this mysterious young man. As the evening reached its peak, Jake noticed that Hades' son never took his eyes off the room.

Encouraged by a sudden impulse, he walked towards him, Sunoo at his side, although slightly reluctant.

"Good evening," said Jake, approaching. "My name is Jake."

"Good evening, Jake. I am Sunghoon, son of Hades," the young man replied in an icy voice.

Jake immediately sensed the hostility in Sunghoon's tone. "Pleased to meet you, Sunghoon," he said politely, though slightly defensively.

Sunghoon narrowed his eyes, his gaze becoming even more piercing. "It seems Aphrodite's family is famous for its beauty. I see the rumors are true. But I wonder if that's all you have to offer," he said with a mocking smile.

Jake felt the barb, but remained calm. "Beauty is only one part of who we are. Kindness and politeness are just as important," he replied, looking him straight in the eye.

Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, amused by Jake's response. "Kindness and politeness, eh? Noble words. But here on Mount Olympus, those qualities won't earn you the respect of the gods."

Jake retorted, "Maybe. But I'd rather be respected for who I truly am than for a facade."

Sunghoon burst out laughing, but his laughter was anything but warm. "Really? Well, we'll see how long this naive attitude lasts you."

Jake felt frustration rising within him. "Perhaps arrogance won't take you as far as you think, Sunghoon. It's easy to judge without knowing."

Sunghoon crossed his arms, looking defiant. "We'll see, Jake."

Sunghoon moved closer, his expression becoming colder. "As far as I'm concerned, you and your family have no business being on Mount Olympus. You're just a superficial distraction."

Jake felt anger rising within him. "Oh, really? And what are you doing here, then? Besides judging others and spreading your bitterness?"

Sunghoon clenched his fists, his gaze burning with anger. "I'm here because I have my place among the gods, a place I deserve. Not like some who are only here for their looks."

Jake shrugged, a cheeky smile playing on his lips. "If beauty and kindness are such undesirable qualities, why are you so obsessed with us? Maybe you're just jealous that you can't be like us."

Sunghoon remained silent for a moment, his dark eyes fixed on Jake with an intensity that could have made anyone shudder. "Jealous? Of you? Don't kid yourself. Your superficiality will be your downfall."

Jake moved closer, his tone becoming sharper. "We'll see who gets lost. In the meantime, I'll continue to be myself and prove that kindness and sincerity are worth more than bitterness and hostility."

Sunghoon sneered. "You have no idea what it means to survive Hell, Jake. But you'll soon find out."

"Perhaps. But I prefer to learn on my own rather than listen to the prejudices of a bitter boy."

Sunoo, observing the tense exchange, placed a comforting hand on Jake's shoulder. "Don't let Sunghoon disturb you. Let's focus on the banquet and have fun."

Before leaving, he turned back to Sunghoon one last time and added with a mocking smile, "And try not to think about me too much. You might end up admitting to yourself that you're just obsessed with me."

As he walked away, Sunghoon remained, fists clenched, eyes grim. The confrontation had begun, and neither was willing to back down. Jake knew he would have to prove himself, not only to himself but also to his family. And he was ready for the challenge, determined to show Sunghoon that true strength lies in the heart and mind, not just in appearances and titles.

He walked to the center of the room to give an important speech.

He took a deep breath and began to speak in a clear and confident voice. "My friends, tonight we celebrate not only our divine heritage, but also our desire to live in harmony. Our kingdom has known conflict, but we have the opportunity to create something new."

Jake paused, then continued. "Peace isn't just the absence of war. It's understanding and mutual respect. We come from different families, with our own stories and pain, but here, we can build a better future."

He raised his glass. "Tonight, let us drink to peace, unity, and the hope for a better future. Together, we can make this dream a reality. Thank you all."

The guests raised their glasses in response and applauded. Jake felt satisfied with his speech, hoping it would help ease tensions between the different families.

As he moved away from the center of the room, he met Sunghoon's gaze again, wondering if his words had touched, even slightly, the heart of Hades' son.

เณƒโ€โžท

The next day, Jake decided to take a stroll through the vast gardens of Aphrodite's palace. The sun shone brightly in the sky, and the air was fragrant with a thousand vibrant flowers. Along his way, he encountered several demigods and gods, greeting them courteously.

Jake continued his walk, enjoying the beauty of the surroundings, until he spotted Sunghoon near a fountain, seemingly lost in thought. Determined to try and better understand Hades' son, Jake approached him with a friendly smile.

"Hello, Sunghoon. How are you today?"

Sunghoon looked up, his icy gaze settling on Jake. "Oh, it's you. Still as radiant as ever, I see."

Jake felt the sting, but remained calm. "I take that as a compliment. These gardens are truly magnificent, don't you think?"

Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, a mocking smile on his lips. "Yes, for those who like superficial distractions."

Jake sighed slightly, deciding to respond in the same tone. "Perhaps you haven't yet learned to appreciate the simple things in life."

Sunghoon sneered, his eyes flashing. "Or perhaps some of us have deeper concerns than simply admiring flowers."

"Why are you doing this, Sunghoon? Why so many barbs and veiled insults?"

Sunghoon crossed his arms, his piercing gaze fixed on Jake. "Why? Perhaps because I find your constant perfectionism and superficiality unbearable."

Jake clenched his fists, trying to contain his frustration. "Perfect? โ€‹โ€‹Superficial? You don't even know me. You presume to judge without knowing who I really am."

Sunghoon approached, his face just inches from Jake's. "And you, you think you know everything, huh? You think your kindness and beauty give you the right to lecture me?"

Jake fixed his gaze on Sunghoon's, determined. "I'm not making any claims. I just want to understand why you're the way you are."

Sunghoon remained silent for a moment, his dark eyes burning with anger and something else, something deeper. "You want to understand? Then look closely, Jake. We're not from the same world. And you'd better remember what happened ten years ago."

Jake stared at him, perplexed. "What happened ten years ago?"

Sunghoon smiled coldly, a twinkle of malice in his eye. "You really don't know anything, do you? Ask your family. Maybe then you'll finally understand why yours and mine hate each other."

With that, Sunghoon turned on his heel and walked away, leaving Jake alone by the fountain, his thoughts swirling in his mind.

เณƒโ€โžท

On the second evening, Aphrodite's palace was even more lavishly decorated than the night before. Guests gathered in the great hall, eager to attend a musical performance prepared by young talents.

Jake, dressed elegantly, held his violin with confidence. Beside him, Yuri played the harp gracefully, while Hyori and Yeojin delicately plucked the strings of their lyres. Aeri and Hyejin completed the ensemble with their melodious flutes. The atmosphere was filled with sweet anticipation.

As the first notes filled the air, the room fell silent, captivated by the harmony of the instruments. Jake closed his eyes for a moment, letting himself be carried away by the music, before opening them again to observe the audience. The admiring glances of the guests filled him with quiet satisfaction.

But one gaze in particular caught his attention: Sunghoon's. Unlike the others, Sunghoon didn't seem to be simply listening to the music. His eyes were fixed on Jake with an intensity that unsettled him. Despite the many other stares in the room, it was Sunghoon's that made his heart beat faster.

Jake's fingers glided across the strings of his violin, drawing out enchanting melodies that mingled with the sounds of the harp, lyres, and flutes. Yet, he couldn't help but steal glances at Sunghoon. Each time, he found the son of Hades' gaze fixed upon him, as if he were the only one in the room.

Time seemed to slow down, each note resonating more deeply. Jake wondered what this fixation meant. Was it fascination, defiance, or something else?

The music reached its climax, filling the room with celestial sounds. Finally, the last note faded away, and a respectful silence followed before the guests erupted into enthusiastic applause. Jake bowed slightly in gratitude, his eyes instinctively seeking Sunghoon's.

Sunghoon applauded too, but his expression remained unreadable. Jake felt a mixture of frustration and curiosity growing within him. What did Sunghoon see in him, to look at him like that, so intensely?

As the applause still echoed, Jake headed towards Sunghoon, determined to approach him and unravel the mystery of that intense gaze. However, before he could reach Hades' son, he was stopped by Sunoo and Jungwon, followed by several other guests.

"Jake! That was incredible!" exclaimed Sunoo, her eyes shining with admiration. "Your music was magnificent!"

Jungwon nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, really! We didn't know you played so well."

Jake smiled, but his mind was elsewhere. He was stealing glances at Sunghoon, who was now talking with Heeseung at the other end of the room. A part of him desperately wanted to join them, feeling a strange attraction that deeply disturbed him.

Sunoo, noticing the change in Jake's behavior, gently asked him, "Jake, is everything alright?"

Jake looked away from Sunghoon and replied with a forced smile, "Yes, yes, everything's fine. Just a little tired after the performance."

After about ten minutes of conversation with the guests, Jake took advantage of a moment of distraction to slip away unnoticed. He headed towards the spot where he had seen Sunghoon and Heeseung, but it seemed Heeseung was gone. Sunghoon stood alone, staring thoughtfully into space.

Gathering his courage, Jake approached him. "Good evening, Sunghoon."

Sunghoon looked up, an unreadable expression on his face. "Good evening, Jake. Great performance."

Jake smiled, slightly surprised by the compliment. "Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it."

Sunghoon raised an eyebrow, a slight, mocking smile playing on his lips. "Perhaps you have more talent than I thought."

Jake replied with a touch of irony, "And you, perhaps, have more appreciation for music than I would have thought."

Sunghoon chuckled softly, a surprisingly pleasant sound despite his usual coldness. "Perhaps."

Jake moved slightly closer, trying to read the emotions in Sunghoon's eyes. "You seemed very focused while I was playing."

Sunghoon crossed his arms, his gaze still piercing. "Music has a way of capturing attention. And your playing was... captivating."

Jake felt his heart beat faster at those words. "Thank you. Music is a passion for me. It's a way to express myself beyond words."

Sunghoon nodded. "I can understand that. Sometimes words aren't enough."

There was a moment of silence, filled with the tension that always seemed to exist between them, but also with something new, softer.

Jake took a deep breath. "Why are you always so distant with me, Sunghoon?"

Sunghoon hesitated for a moment, then replied, "Perhaps because I find you too perfect, too... idealistic. It makes me uncomfortable."

Jake smiled slightly. "I'm not perfect. I'm just trying to do my best, like everyone else."

Sunghoon looked at Jake with renewed intensity. "Maybe I'm starting to see it."

For the first time, they seemed to understand each other, even if only briefly. As the evening wore on, Jake realized that behind Sunghoon's hostility lay a depth he was eager to explore further.

While Jake and Sunghoon were talking, engrossed in their conversation, Sunoo suddenly arrived, a mischievous smile on his face.

"Well, well, what do we have here? Jake and Sunghoon chatting like friends?" teased Sunoo, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

Jake and Sunghoon exchanged a glance, a little taken aback. "It's not what you think, Sunoo," replied Jake, trying to hide his embarrassment.

Sunghoon nodded, his expression becoming more closed off again. "We were just talking about music, that's all."

Sunoo chuckled softly. "Oh, of course, just music. Anyway, it's nice to see you can talk without bickering."

Jake sighed, a slight smile on his lips. "Yes, that's progress, I suppose."

Sunoo then leaned towards Jake and whispered in his ear, "You know, sometimes love starts with conversations like these." Before Jake could reply, Sunoo walked away laughing.

Jake felt his cheeks burning. "That's not it at all, Sunoo!" he protested, but Sunoo was already walking away.

Sunghoon watched the scene with amused interest, a twinkle in his eye. Jake, embarrassed and determined to silence Sunoo's teasing, turned to Sunghoon. "Excuse me for a moment."

Then, without waiting for a reply, he launched himself after Sunoo into the room, trying to hide his bright red blush. He weaved between the guests, quickly greeting those who briefly stopped him, but keeping his eyes fixed on Sunoo.

Sunghoon watched Jake disappear into the crowd, a smile on his lips. He wondered what Sunoo could have whispered to provoke such a reaction in Jake.

Jake finally caught up with Sunoo near the entrance to the hall. "Sunoo, stop with your insinuations!"

Sunoo turned to him, still smiling. "Oh, come on, Jake. Admit it, you felt something while talking to Sunghoon. There's a certain chemistry between you two, isn't there?"

Jake sighed, trying to regain his composure. "Sunoo, it's not..."

But before he could finish, Sunoo raised his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay. I'll leave you alone. But you should really think about what I told you." Then he walked away, leaving Jake alone with his swirling thoughts.

Jake took a deep breath and turned back into the room, his cheeks still slightly flushed. He wondered now if Sunoo had touched a nerve.

เณƒโ€โžท

The following afternoon, Jake decided to enjoy some well-deserved solitude. He went to his favorite spot, a hidden waterfall deep in the forest. Upon arriving, he took off his top, letting the cool water soothe his tired feet. Sitting on a rock, he watched the water cascade gracefully, trying to release all the pent-up tension.

Lost in thought, he suddenly heard someone approaching. Thinking it was Sunoo, one of the few who knew this place, he turned around with a smile.

"Sunghoon?" Jake raised an eyebrow. "What are you doing here?"

Sunghoon, visibly as surprised as Jake, shrugged. "Sunoo showed me the way to the lake, but it seems he made a mistake."

Jake sighed softly and looked back at the waterfall, pretending to ignore Sunghoon. After a moment of silence, he calmly asked, "Would you like to stay here with me?"

Sunghoon hesitated for a moment, then sat down next to Jake on the rock, keeping his feet above the water. The soothing sound of the waterfall and the gentle breeze created an almost magical atmosphere.

"This is a beautiful place," Sunghoon began, breaking the silence. "Do you come here often?"

Jake nodded. "Yes, this is my refuge. Away from prying eyes and expectations."

Sunghoon looked at Jake, then at the waterfall, before replying softly. "I understand. Sometimes you just need to escape."

Their conversations were punctuated by silences, but this time they seemed less heavy than before. Jake was surprised to find himself feeling strangely at ease in Sunghoon's presence, despite everything that had happened between them. He kept replaying Sunghoon's words from the day before, wondering if there was any truth to his teasing.

"Why are you always so hard on me?" Jake asked suddenly, turning his head to look at Sunghoon.

Sunghoon paused before replying. "Perhaps I'm wrong about you. Perhaps I don't want to admit that you might be... different."

Jake frowned slightly, curious. "Different how?"

Sunghoon sighed, looking down at his hands resting on his knees. "Different from what I always believed. Less superficial, more sincere."

Jake felt his heart lighten a little at those words. "Perhaps we all have our prejudices to overcome."

Sunghoon nodded slowly. "Yes, perhaps."

As they sat near the waterfall, a soothing silence between them, Jake turned to Sunghoon, a burning question on his lips.

"Sunghoon, what are the Underworld like? I've never been there, and you're the prince of the Underworld, after all."

Sunghoon frowned slightly, thinking before answering. "It's a dark and complex place. But you don't need to know."

Jake felt a surge of frustration rising within him. "No, really. I want to understand. If you're ready, could we go?"

Sunghoon looked at Jake, visibly surprised by the suggestion. He hesitated for a moment before replying. "You really want to see Hell?"

Jake nodded resolutely. "Yes, I want to understand your world."

After a moment of reflection, Sunghoon finally agreed. "Very well. But there are rules to follow."

They stood up and Sunghoon led Jake to a hidden place, a secret passage leading to Hell. Just before entering, Sunghoon took Jake's hand in his, their sudden closeness making Jake's heart beat faster.

"You must stay close to me and never look back," Sunghoon warned in a deep voice. "Otherwise, you will remain in Hell forever."

Jake nodded, realizing the seriousness of the warning. They crossed the passage, Sunghoon's hand tightly around Jake's.

The Underworld was dark and oppressive, a far cry from the bright and luxurious world Jake knew. Sunghoon showed him his daily life, his responsibilities, and the harsh realities of being a prince of the Underworld. Jake was struck by the sadness and loneliness of this place, compared to the love and luxury he had always known.

Sunghoon, although still somewhat cold and distant, seemed less hostile than usual. He remained close to Jake, almost protective, as if he didn't want Jake to suffer too much from this experience.

Jake, moved by what he saw, murmured, "I'm sorry you have to live here, Sunghoon."

Sunghoon shrugged, his expression impassive but his eyes betraying a certain vulnerability. "It's my reality. But I've gotten used to it."

When they left the Underworld, night had already fallen. The journey back was silent, each footstep echoing in the soothing darkness. They arrived at the banquet where the festivities were in full swing.

Jake sat down at a table, next to his sister Yuri and a girl he didn't know. He glanced around, searching for Sunghoon. He spotted him at another table, surrounded by Aeri, Sunoo, and other guests.

During the meal, Jake couldn't help but think about his recent experience in Hell. He felt different, as if the visit had opened his eyes to a new reality. After finishing his meal, he watched the guests get up and head to the dance floor.

Jake joined the dancing, twirling with several girls, his charming smile lighting up the room. Yet, his thoughts kept returning to Sunghoon. Finally, he slipped away from the dance floor and headed towards the balcony where Sunghoon was alone, gazing at the starry night.

Jake approached quietly. "Sunghoon, I wanted to thank you."

Sunghoon turned to him, an unreadable expression on his face. "Why, exactly?"

Jake stopped right in front of him, his gaze intense. "For showing me your world. For trusting me."

Sunghoon nodded slightly, his gaze softening. "You wanted to know, so I showed you."

Without thinking, Jake took him in his arms, feeling Sunghoon's initial coldness transform into a comforting warmth. Sunghoon, surprised, remained motionless for a moment before timidly returning the embrace.

Sunghoon remained silent, but he tightened his embrace slightly, letting a fraction of his defenses fall. The night around them seemed softer, more welcoming, as they shared this intimate moment, away from the gaze of the other guests.

They stayed like that for a while, enjoying each other's company. Finally, Jake stepped back slightly, his eyes searching for Sunghoon's. "You're not alone, Sunghoon. I'm here for you."

Sunghoon nodded slowly, a slight smile on his lips. "Thank you, Jake... Know that I'm here for you too."

Jake and Sunoo were in the garden of another palace, surrounded by flowers. They had decided to try archery, an activity that allowed them to relax and have fun. Jake focused on his target, while Sunoo, ever cheerful, seemed perfectly at ease with his bow.

Sunoo, firing an arrow that hit the center of the target with impressive accuracy, broke the silence. "You know, Jake, I saw something interesting last night."

Jake, ready to fire his own arrow, raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh yeah? What was that?"

Sunoo smiled mischievously. "The hug between you and Sunghoon on the balcony."

Jake blushed instantly, his concentration wavering. He released his arrow, which landed a good distance from the center. "Oh, that..."

Sunoo, Cupid's son, was clearly delighted. "You know what that means, don't you?"

Jake sighed, trying to regain his composure. "What are you implying, Sunoo?"

Sunoo fired another arrow, once again hitting the center with disconcerting ease. "It's just that love often begins with a sincere hug."

Jake prepared to fire another arrow, but his thoughts kept returning to that moment with Sunghoon. "It was just a moment between us, nothing more."

Sunoo burst out laughing. "Oh, really? And why are you blushing then?"

Jake tried to focus on the target, but his cheeks were still burning. "Maybe... maybe it was important. But it doesn't mean anything."

Sunoo nodded, a satisfied smile on his lips. "I knew it."

Jake fired again, almost hitting the center this time. "You're incorrigible, Sunoo."

Sunoo shrugged, firing another arrow with perfect accuracy. "I am Cupid's son, it's in my genes."

Jake shook his head, trying to say, "There's nothing between Sunghoon and me, Sunoo. We're just... acquaintances."

Sunoo placed a hand on Jake's shoulder, her smile full of mischief. "Don't worry, Jake. Love makes things easier, even if it doesn't seem obvious at first."

Jake sighed softly, grateful to be able to talk about his feelings with Sunoo. "Thank you, Sunoo. But really, there's nothing there."

Sunoo fired his last arrow, hitting the bullseye once again. "Always there for you, Jake. And for love. But I think you're wrong."

Jake smiled as he fired his final arrow. "We'll see."

Sunoo chuckled softly, adjusting his bow for another perfect shot. "Yes, we'll see."

The evening was in full swing, and Sunoo and Jake returned to the palace just in time for the penultimate banquet. They sat down at a table with Jungwon and Heeseung, engaging in lively conversation. Jake, who had never touched a glass of alcohol before, downed drink after drink without realizing it.

Heeseung quickly noticed how often Jake was drinking. "Jake, you're drinking a lot tonight. Is everything alright?"

Jake, his cheeks flushed, smiled. "I'd never touched a glass of alcohol before today; I didn't drink any alcohol on the other days of the banquet. This is a first for me."

Jungwon exchanged a worried look with Heeseung. "Are you sure you're okay, Jake?"

Jake chuckled softly, betraying his drunkenness. "Yes, I'm really glad to have met you. You're true friends."

Heeseung placed a comforting hand on Jake's shoulder. "We're happy to have you too, Jake. But maybe you should slow down a bit with the alcohol."

Jake nodded vaguely. "These past few days have been... complicated. But you've always been there for me. Thank you."

Jungwon smiled gently. "We're here for you, Jake. Forever."

At that moment, Sunoo and Sunghoon arrived and saw Jake in a state of advanced drunkenness. Sunoo smiled slyly, while Sunghoon remained distant.

Jungwon and Jake tried to include Sunghoon in the conversation, but he remained cold and reserved. After a while, Jungwon had to leave, and Sunoo couldn't resist teasing Sunghoon before leaving as well.

"Sunghoon, keep a good eye on Jake, okay?" Sunoo said, laughing, before walking away.

Heeseung also stood up. "Sunghoon, could you take Jake to his room? He's really drunk."

Sunghoon nodded and helped Jake to his feet. Jake, his cheeks flushed, spoke like a child, still polite and adorable. They headed towards the hallways, and Jake began to talk about his childhood.

"You know, Sunghoon, I've always loved my sisters. They mean everything to me. But the pressure... it's hard being the only boy," Jake said, his words slightly drawling.

On their way, they ran into Hyori, Jake's older sister. Jake hugged her, telling her he loved her. Hyori exchanged a glance with Sunghoon.

"Thank you for looking after my little brother, Sunghoon," said Hyori, a warm smile on her lips.

"It's nothing," replied Sunghoon, before continuing towards Jake's room.

Once in the room, Jake sat on his bed, looking at Sunghoon with an innocent smile.

"I saw the way you were looking at my sister, Hyori," Jake said, a hint of frustration in his voice.

Sunghoon stared at him, his expression impassive. "So what?"

Jake sighed, looking away. "I don't know... It threw me off a bit."

To divert attention from this delicate conversation, Jake began to talk about his childhood memories with his mother, Aphrodite, and his sisters.

"When I was little, my mother often took me to the palace gardens. She showed me how each flower had its own unique beauty. I loved those moments with her," Jake recalled, his gaze lost in memories. "Hyori is incredible. She's always been there for me, protecting and encouraging me."

Jake continued telling stories about his sisters. "Once, Hyori helped me prepare a puppet show for our youngest sister Yeojin's birthday. She spent hours helping me make the puppets and rehearse. We laughed so hard that day."

He became increasingly touchy-feely with Sunghoon, trying to get his attention. Jake snuggled closer, his hand brushing against Sunghoon's. It was clear he wanted to get closer to him.

Sunghoon remained silent, observing Jake with a tenderness he hadn't shown before. Jake continued to talk about his childhood, the love he felt for his mother, but also the pressure he felt.

Sunghoon sat beside him on the bed, listening in silence. Jake, so gentle and innocent, continued to speak, his touch light and comforting. Sunghoon, despite his usual coldness, felt touched by Jake's sincerity.

Just as Jake was about to fall asleep, he suddenly remembered something. "Sunghoon, I just remembered a special place. A beautiful clearing, hidden behind a secret passage. Sunoo was the one who found it."

Sunghoon glanced at the clock. "It's getting late, Jake."

"I know, but I really want to show you this place. Please," Jake insisted.

Sunghoon sighed but agreed. "Okay. But we'll have to be quiet so as not to wake the others."

They quietly left the room and slipped into the palace's dark corridors. Jake struggled to walk straight, and Sunghoon supported him with unexpected patience. They reached the secret passage and went through it, emerging into a magnificent clearing bathed in the light of the blue moon.

Jake sat down on the ground, positioning himself very close to Sunghoon. "This place is magical," he murmured, his eyes shining with wonder. "When I was little, I used to come here to escape the pressure of the palace."

"You know," Jake said softly, "growing up, I was always surrounded by love and beauty. My mother is the goddess of love, after all. But despite all that, I never really understood what it's like to be in love. It frustrates me. I should know what it is, shouldn't I?"

"Being the son of the goddess of love doesn't automatically mean you understand love, Jake. Love is complex and unpredictable."

Jake nodded thoughtfully. "I know, I've always felt like I should be feeling something special, something deeper."

"Sometimes love arrives when you least expect it," Sunghoon murmured, his fingers gently sliding through Jake's golden locks.

"Perhaps I'll find out someday," Jake replied, his eyes gently closing under Sunghoon's soothing caress. "You speak as if you've already been in love."

Sunghoon hesitated, his expression hardening slightly. "Maybe I did. Maybe I never did. Love, for me, is uncharted and dangerous territory."

Jake and Sunghoon, sitting in the moonlit clearing, were getting closer and closer physically. Jake, slightly drunk, let his fingers brush against Sunghoon's arms, while Sunghoon continued to stroke Jake's blond hair.

Jake looked up at Sunghoon, his gaze blurred by alcohol and emotions. "You know, I think you're right. Love isn't something you can force. But... I think I'm starting to understand."

Sunghoon felt his heart race when he heard those words. He leaned forward slightly, their faces only inches apart. But before things could go any further, Sunghoon pulled back slightly.

"It's getting late, and you're still drunk," he said softly, but firmly. "We should go back to your room."

Jake nodded, a little disappointed but understanding. They stood up and Sunghoon supported Jake as they silently returned to the palace, careful not to wake anyone.

Back in Jake's room, Sunghoon helped him get into bed. Jake lay down, his eyes closing almost immediately under the influence of alcohol and fatigue.

"Good night Jake..."

Sunghoon looked at him for a moment, an expression of inner conflict visible on his face. As Jake drifted off to sleep, Sunghoon leaned down to kiss Jake's lips.

เณƒโ€โžท

On the last day, a joyful yet melancholic atmosphere hung in the air. Jake, Sunghoon, Heeseung, Sunoo, and Jungwon had decided to spend this final day together, savoring every moment before they had to part ways.

They found themselves in the lush gardens of Aphrodite's palace, the sun shining brightly, making the atmosphere even more vibrant. The birds were singing and nature seemed in perfect harmony, as if it understood the importance of this day.

Sunoo, always in good spirits, suggested starting with a short walk. "Let's explore the gardens and perhaps find some fresh fruit to taste," he said with a bright smile.

They walked together, sharing laughter and memories. Heeseung and Jungwon discussed their favorite moments of the week, while Jake and Sunghoon walked side by side, their shoulders occasionally brushing against each other.

"These gardens are magnificent," said Jungwon, admiring the vibrant flowers. "You're lucky to live here, Jake."

Jake nodded, a wistful smile on his lips. "Yes, it's a wonderful place. But I'm going to miss you all very much."

After their walk, they decided to relax by a small lake with crystal-clear waters. Sunoo had brought a picnic basket filled with fruit, fresh bread, and various cheeses.

"One last feast together at the same table," Sunoo announced, spreading a blanket on the grass.

They sat in a circle, sharing food and continuing to chat. Jake noticed that Sunghoon was quieter than usual, his thoughts seeming to be elsewhere.

"What are you thinking about, Sunghoon?" Jake asked softly.

Sunghoon looked up at him, an indefinable glint in his eyes. "Just this week. Everything that's happened."

The afternoon passed quickly with games, discussions and moments of pure relaxation.

They all found themselves sitting on a hill, looking at the blue sky.

"It was a perfect day," Heeseung said, breaking the silence.

"Yes," Jungwon added. "I'm glad I spent this time with you all."

Sunoo turned to Jake and Sunghoon, a mischievous smile on his lips. "Do you two have anything to say?"

Jake blushed slightly, but shook his head. "No, Sunoo. Everything is perfect as it is."

Sunghoon, for his part, simply gazed at the horizon, his expression softened by an emotion he rarely showed.

As the sun set, bathing the palace in a soft golden glow, preparations for the last banquet of the week were underway. Sunghoon made his way to his room to change, undressing to the waist, revealing the scars from his years spent in the Underworld.

As he was getting ready, his bedroom door opened softly. Jake entered, his gaze fixed on Sunghoon. A palpable tension immediately settled between them.

"You know it's impolite to enter someone's room without knocking," Sunghoon said with a sly smile.

Jake ignored the barb and slowly approached Sunghoon. His eyes fell on the scars that marked Sunghoon's skin. With unexpected gentleness, Jake reached out and delicately stroked one of the scars.

"Does it hurt?" he asked, his voice barely a whisper.

Sunghoon shook his head. "Not physically, no."

Jake continued to caress the scars. He moved even closer, his face just inches from Sunghoon's.

"You smell good," Jake murmured, his nose brushing against Sunghoon's neck.

Sunghoon shivered slightly, feeling Jake's lips brush against her skin. Jake began to place soft kisses on Sunghoon's neck, each touch of his lips sending waves of heat through Sunghoon's body.

Just as the atmosphere was becoming more and more intimate, the door suddenly opened and Sunoo entered.

"Oh, I'm sorry," exclaimed Sunoo upon seeing the scene before him, his eyes widening in surprise.

Jake quickly sat up, his cheeks turning red with embarrassment. Sunghoon, on the other hand, remained calm, though slightly amused by the situation.

"Sunoo, I thought you must have been at the banquet," said Sunghoon, quickly putting his shirt back on.

Sunoo raised an eyebrow, a mischievous smile forming on his lips. "I just wanted to make sure you arrived on time. But it seems I interrupted something."

Jake, still blushing, shook his head. "No, it was nothing. We were just about to get ready for the banquet."

"If you say so."

Sunghoon finished getting dressed, then turned to Jake. "Let's go. The banquet awaits us."

The three left the room, heading towards the great hall where the last banquet of the week awaited them. Once inside, the festive and joyful atmosphere enveloped them, but a certain tension and furtive glances between Jake and Sunghoon persisted throughout the evening.

The evening was in full swing as the banquet drew to a close. The guests rejoiced, savoring the last moments of this unforgettable week. Jungwon and Jake took to the stage, ready to deliver their closing speeches.

Jungwon spoke first. "Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to thank you for your presence and your joy during this week. This banquet has been a real success thanks to all of you."

Jake continued, a warm smile on his face. "We hope you all had a wonderful time here, surrounded by friends and family. May this evening remain etched in your memories as a moment of peace and shared happiness."

After the applause and congratulations, Jake joined Sunghoon's table, where Hyejin and Jungwon were already seated. A melancholic atmosphere hung around them, everyone feeling the sadness of seeing the banquet come to an end.

Suddenly, Hyori approached the table and addressed Sunghoon. "May I ask you for a dance, Sunghoon?"

Sunghoon, sporting a beautiful smile, stood up and accepted. "It would be an honor, Hyori."

He gently placed his hand on Hyori's waist and led her onto the dance floor. Their grace and connection captivated the attention of all the guests. Jake couldn't tear his gaze away from them, feeling a lump form in his throat.

Jungwon, sitting next to Jake, noticed his sad eyes and the tears threatening to fall. "Jake, are you alright?" he asked softly.

Jake shook his head, trying to hide his emotions. "It's just... seeing Sunghoon dancing with Hyori... I don't know, it makes me sad."

Jungwon placed a comforting hand on Jake's shoulder.

As Jake tried to control his emotions, Sunoo arrived, ready to tease him. But seeing Jake's sadness, he stopped short. "Jake, are you okay?" asked Sunoo, his voice full of concern.

Jake quickly wiped his eyes, but couldn't hide his sorrow. "It's nothing, Sunoo. Just mixed emotions."

Sunoo sat down next to him, his face serious for once. "You know, Jake, it's not a weakness to feel. Especially when it's about someone who matters to you."

Jake nodded, taking a deep breath. "Thank you, Sunoo. I guess I just have to accept how I feel."

Sunoo smiled gently, trying to cheer Jake up. "Come on, the banquet isn't over yet. Let's enjoy these last moments together."

Jake looked at Sunghoon and Hyori one last time before the dance ended. Heeseung approached Sunghoon and whispered something in his ear. Immediately, Sunghoon turned to Jake, tears threatening to spill. Jake saw Sunghoon trying to get closer to him. Feeling the need to get away, he quickly stood up and headed towards the hallways, wanting to go to his room and be alone.

"Jake, wait!" Sunghoon shouted, quickening his pace to catch up with him.

Jake stopped abruptly and turned around, anger boiling inside him. Sunghoon grabbed his wrist, trying to restrain him. Jake, his eyes brimming with tears, slapped Sunghoon hard. Sunghoon brought his hand to his cheek, the sharp pain mingling with the sadness.

"Sunghoon, you're really stupid for not understanding that I have feelings for you!" Jake shouted, his voice trembling with emotion.

Sunghoon lowered his eyes, his lips trembling with emotion. "Jake, I... I didn't know. I didn't mean to hurt you."

Jake clenched his fists, his nails digging into his palms. "How could you be so blind? Every glance, every smile... everything I did was for you." He took a deep breath, trying to control his voice, which threatened to break with every word. "You're driving me crazy, Sunghoon."

Sunghoon took a step back, his face pale and his eyes filled with remorse.

Jake felt the tears now flowing freely down his cheeks. "I need to know how you really feel. Do I matter to you, or am I just a game to you?"

Sunghoon tried to approach, but Jake raised a hand to stop him. "Don't touch me," he said in a hoarse voice. "You've already hurt me enough."

Sunghoon remained motionless, arms hanging limply at his sides, unable to find the words to repair what seemed irreparable. Jake rushed into his room, slamming the door behind him.

Shortly afterwards, Sunoo walked down the corridor, giving Sunghoon a reproachful look.

"What have you done, Sunghoon?" Sunoo murmured disdainfully before heading towards Jake's room without waiting for an answer.

Sunghoon found himself alone in the corridors, feeling more isolated than ever. The silence hung heavy around him, each second seeming to stretch into infinity. A few moments later, Jungwon arrived, his brows furrowed with anger.

"Sunghoon, how could you let this happen? You should understand other people's feelings better, especially Jake's!" Jungwon exclaimed, his voice echoing in the empty hallway.

Sunghoon lowered his head, unable to meet Jungwon's piercing gaze. "I... I'm sorry," he murmured, his voice trembling. "I never meant to hurt him."

"Sorry?" Jungwon shook his head in frustration. "You know very well that apologies aren't enough. You played with his emotions, and now he's devastated."

Sunghoon clenched his fists, guilt gnawing at him. "I didn't know he felt like this... I'm lost in all of this too."

Jungwon sighed, his expression softening slightly. "You need to understand that your actions have consequences. Jake needs support right now, and I don't know if you're capable of giving him that."

Sunghoon timidly raised his eyes. "What should I do?"

"For now, leave him alone," Jungwon replied firmly. "Let us take care of him. Perhaps with time you can repair what you've broken. But not now."

Sunghoon nodded, silently accepting Jungwon's words. Jungwon stared at him for a moment longer, then headed towards Jake's room to join Sunoo.

In the bedroom, Jake sat on his bed, tears streaming freely down his cheeks. Sunoo and Jungwon sat on either side of him, trying to comfort him.

"Jake, we're here for you," Sunoo said softly, taking his hand.

"Yes, we understand how you feel," Jungwon added. "But you should know that Sunghoon is just as lost as you are in this situation."

Jake sniffed and nodded, trying to find some comfort in his friends' words.

"I don't know what to do," he finally murmured. "I'm so confused and hurt."

Jake was still sitting on his bed, surrounded by Sunoo and Jungwon, trying to find comfort in their presence. Suddenly, they heard someone knocking at the door. Jungwon got up to answer it.

It was Sunghoon. His face was serious, determined. "I need to speak with Jake alone," he declared.

Sunoo sat up straight, frowning. "Jake doesn't want to talk to you, Sunghoon."

Sunghoon stared at Sunoo, a menacing glint in his eyes. "Listen, I don't intend to leave without speaking to her," he said in a cold voice.

Jungwon exchanged a glance with Sunoo before sighing and stepping aside. "Very well, but be careful what you say," he warned.

Sunghoon entered the room and walked towards Jake, who looked away, tears beginning to flow again. "Jake, I..."

"Don't talk to me, Sunghoon," Jake interrupted, his voice trembling with anger and sadness. "You're only making things worse."

Sunghoon knelt beside Jake. "I came to explain myself, Jake."

Jake exploded in anger. "Explain what? That you're interested in Hyori? Or that you come from Hell and have no consideration for my feelings?" Jake hurled these words like daggers, hoping to hurt Sunghoon as much as he himself was hurt.

Sunghoon remained silent, his eyes fixed on Jake. Then, slowly, he moved closer to Jake, leaning over him. Jake raised his hands to stop Sunghoon from getting any closer, but Sunghoon gently grasped his wrists.

"Hyori and I danced, that's true," Sunghoon began, his voice calm but determined. "But that doesn't mean I'm interested in her. You have to understand that Hyori is your sister and our dance wasn't romantic at all. It was just a dance, nothing more."

Jake felt his anger boil over again. "Nothing more? Are you kidding me? I saw you smiling at her, speaking softly to her... How can you say that means nothing?"

Sunghoon sighed. "Jake, I don't know how else to tell you this. Hyori and I are just friends. But you," he gently squeezed Jake's wrists, "you're different. You matter to me in a way no one else does."

Jake shook his head, tears rolling down his cheeks. "You say that now, but how can I believe you? You come from Hell, you know how to manipulate people. How can I be sure you're not playing with my feelings?"

"Because I am here," Sunghoon replied, his voice filled with a new intensity. "I am here, at your feet, begging you to believe me. I could be anywhere, doing anything, but I am here with you, trying to repair what I have broken."

Jake felt his anger fade, replaced by a profound sadness and heartbreaking confusion. "Why? Why did you make me hope and despair?"

Sunghoon nodded. "I'm sorry for the pain I caused you. I'm ready to do anything to redeem myself, if you give me a chance."

Sunghoon took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his mistakes press heavily on his shoulders. "Jake, I'm sorry," he murmured, his voice soft but full of sincerity. "I never meant to hurt you."

Jake looked up, pain and anger burning in his eyes. "Sorry? You really think that's enough?" he retorted, his voice icy for the first time.

Sunghoon, however, had a slight smile on his lips. He leaned down and gently kissed Jake's hand, his warm lips against the young man's cool skin. Then, he grasped both of Jake's wrists, holding them still gently but firmly. "You're naive, self-centered, intrusive, reckless, unapproachable, clumsy, and extremely jealous," he said, smiling.

Jake felt his defenses waver at that smile, but he tried to free himself from Sunghoon's grasp. "Let go of me, Sunghoon," he protested weakly.

Sunghoon ignored Jake's request and began to plant kisses on his neck, his lips gliding gently over the delicate skin. Jake shivered, trying unsuccessfully to push him away. "But your flaws are nothing compared to your qualities," Sunghoon murmured against his skin. "You are kind, trustworthy, honest, handsome, charming, adorable, perfect, and so innocent... after all, you are the son of Aphrodite."

Jake finally gave in, his breathing becoming heavier and more irregular. Sunghoon unbuttoned two buttons of Jake's shirt, revealing his perfect skin beneath. He continued kissing him, leaving a possessive hickey on Jake's collarbones. "This is to show Mount Olympus that you belong to me," Sunghoon murmured, his voice husky with desire.

Jake moaned softly as Sunghoon continued kissing him, his caresses becoming more intense. "I'm so sorry I hurt you. I love you, Jake. Everything I just said makes me love you even more every day," Sunghoon confessed, his voice filled with emotion.

He leaned down to kiss Jake's lips, his hands settling firmly on his waist, pulling him closer. "I love you so much," Sunghoon murmured between kisses, his warm breath against Jake's lips.

"Me too," Jake replied, his kisses becoming more feverish. Sunghoon's hands roamed over Jake's body, exploring every curve and hollow, making him moan softly with pleasure.

"You may be the treasure of the gods, but here in this room, you are mine, princess," Sunghoon murmured with a teasing smile.

Jake smiled weakly despite himself. "I'm not a princess and I don't belong to you," he replied, although his resistance was weakening more and more.

Sunghoon continued to tease Jake, calling him princess again to annoy him. "Oh, really? Because you're blushing like a princess right now," he teased, planting kisses wherever he could-on Jake's cheeks, neck, and shoulders. Finally, they found themselves lying side by side on the bed. Jake rested his head on Sunghoon's chest.

"I'm sad that it ends like this for both of us... we won't see each other again... after all, you have other problems in Hell," Jake murmured, his words heavy with regret.

Sunghoon gently stroked Jake's hair. "Who said we wouldn't see each other again?" he replied softly.

Jake looked up, confused. "Sunghoon, this is the last day of the banquet," he said, his voice breaking.

Sunghoon smiled gently. "I will be part of the Aphrodite family's inner circle for a few years."

Jake burst into tears, but this time tears of joy. Sunghoon teased him again, his hands still as tactile as ever, gliding over Jake's arms, tickling him lightly. "Come on, don't cry. You'll ruin that beautiful face," he joked.

Jake was truly happy, a radiant smile on his face between tears. "You know, you blush so easily. It's adorable," he murmured, continuing his kisses, his lips tracing a path of sweetness and passion across Jake's skin.

Jake finally fell asleep on Sunghoon's chest, his cheeks still wet with tears, but this time they were tears of happiness. Sunghoon gently stroked Jake's back, gazing up at the ceiling with a satisfied smile, happy to have finally been able to express his feelings and soothe Jake's pain.

เณƒโ€โžท

A few months later, Sunghoon was indeed part of the Aphrodite family's inner circle. This privileged position allowed him to stay close to Jake, making him happier than ever. Their relationship remained secret, with Sunghoon as his only confidant.

During a ceremony held in honor of the Aphrodite family, Jake chatted with the other guests, keeping an eye on Sunghoon, who was standing discreetly beside him. Sunghoon, finding Jake irresistibly charming in his ceremonial attire, slowly moved closer to his ear to whisper a few words.

"You know," he murmured softly, "this outfit makes you look like a star, but I prefer it when you're just mine, without all these people around."

Jake felt a warmth rising to his cheeks, his face betraying a clear blush. "Sunghoon, stop... we're in public," he murmured, trying to remain calm.

Sunghoon couldn't help but smile. "You have such an expressive face, it's charming. It looks like you've just taken on a slight shade of pink," he continued, his warm breath tickling Jake's ear.

Jake, feeling the stares of the other guests and the warmth of his own embarrassment, suddenly felt suffocated. "I need to step outside for a moment," he said in a low voice.

They found themselves alone before a shimmering fountain in the palace gardens. Jake sat down on a marble bench, trying to catch his breath. Sunghoon took the opportunity to steal a kiss, her lips pressing gently against Jake's.

Jake blushed even more, his heart pounding. "We could be seen, Sunghoon..." he protested weakly.

"So what?" Sunghoon replied with a smirk, his eyes sparkling with defiance. "You're mine, Jake, and I don't want to hide it."

Sunghoon continued kissing Jake, her hands gently sliding down his arms and waist. Jake felt his resistance melt away, a shy smile forming on his lips. He surrendered to Sunghoon's affection, momentarily forgetting the potential stares of others.

"You know," Sunghoon murmured between kisses, "even the gods would envy our love."

Jake chuckled softly, his hands caressing Sunghoon's back. "You always know the right words to reassure me," he replied, his eyes shining with tenderness.

Sunghoon placed a final kiss on Jake's lips before taking his hand. "Come on, let's go back to the ceremony. I want everyone to see how happy you are."

Jake smiled, feeling lighter and more confident. Together, they returned to the party, hand in hand.
