SMASH!!
“Ow!”
A vase fell onto Jeongguk’s head; as he was just trying to get his wooden stake from under the table. Soon enough Taehyung will arrive, and they will set off into the night to hunt. JK’s supply is going to run out soon and he feels like he’s slowly going crazy, as he hasn’t had blood in ages. He knows no one wants him to go on a blood thirsty rampage again; it did NOT end well last time. Tae barges into the cottage, the flimsy wooden door slamming open and shut. He starts going on about how ‘animals are so much weaker nowadays.’ Obviously, JK; being the smart vampire he is, he argues back that werewolves are just freakishly strong. The sun has nearly set, and finally they can embark on their journey under the moon lit sky.
“Finally, dude, it took u a while.” He groans, JK looks at him while putting his winter boots on, face deadpan.
“What? Did I say something rude?”
they set off into the piercing winter night; Taehyung is so lucky he’s naturally warm, being a werewolf and all, Jeongguk being dead probably wouldn’t help. The snow is so incredibly deep, and the squeaky type as well, probably making all the animals aware of them. Finally, they get to Cinder Sap, all the best animals are there *cough* bears *cough*. They both agree to meet each other at the tree that looks like a lady once they get all the blood and food they each need. Jk goes left watching his surroundings, making sure to not even step on a branch or anything that can make a loud noise, and he hears it- the scream. his body whipping around while it runs at him, a demon.
Crap. he forgot his stake. Gods I’m stupid! Jeongguk thinks. He whips out of the way, but it’s too fast for him and it runs straight at him. He pulls his dagger out of its sheath on his thigh, managing to slice the demon’s left eye, it stops and winces. And he quickly catches it off guard, stabbing the beast lodging it in its thick, hairy neck just making it to its throat. As he hardly pulls out the dagger, the rouge creature jumps on him, lacerating his bicep. Jeongguk screams out grabbing frantically at the small weapon stuck in its neck ripping it out and stabbing it in the face again.
“AARRGHHH!!”
It lets out a blood curdling scream, trying to grab at him but missing as he had stabbed its other eye. Snatching the dagger out of it eye; JK barely manages to spear it in the chest.
“Oh crap.”
Just before the demon slashed his face, a bright light blinded him, and Jeongguk felt weight lift from his shoulders. His breath suddenly swept away; his mind going blank and Jk felt himself being lifted by some sort of force, as he was rising, his whole body got chills, and-\
BANG
He fell straight to the floor. His eyes slowly opened and looked around for the demon but all he saw was the forest and- wait is that a fairy? It can’t be, he swore they didn’t go to cinder sap…
“Hello?” JK asked, his voice coming out in a deep grunt.
“HELLO? REALLY?! That’s it?”
He stares at it not responding, processing what it’s saying.
“Huh?”
“You murderer!! Are all vampires this heartless?”
The ethereal, looking small fairy boy yells at Jeongguk. Suddenly he hears Taehyung from behind picking him up and sprinting away.
“Get back here!” The gorgeous boy yells at them as Jeongguks stuck in a trance staring at him and his wings, and basically everything on him.
“Wow… He’s… beautiful.”
“Snap out of it dude! He just tried to kill you!”
Jeongguk didn’t believe it, he’s too innocent looking and tiny to do that. And- why? Why would he do that? He was just defending himself, trying to not die.
“Are you stupid? Or did that fairy put a spell on you, because you of all vampires should know that fairies don’t care if anyone’s going to die, they love all animals and will take care of them. You probably just broke his heart”
“I broke his heart?”
They’re at home now, safe and sound away from the forest, Taehyung brought Jeongguk to his house with his millions of siblings and weird parents. Funnily enough, they all run up to them, yelling and asking what happened. Jeongguk and Taehyung explain, while Taehyung goes into grave detail about the fairy and demon, JK just sighs deeply, daydreaming about the fairy which he only saw for not even a minute and is obsessed with it.
“I really hope we see him again, I didn’t even get to ask him of his name! He was gods-damn beautiful.”
He can’t believe that they might never meet again.
“I have to try to find him.”
“Bro what-” Taehyung responds but gets cut off by Jeongguk running out of the room, downstairs and straight out the door, even though its fucking freezing out there.
“Gguk you idiot, come back here!”
