Work Text:

It was your first "big" fight. You and Leon rarely did so, especially not to this degree. It had started over something stupid, but escalated when you brought up his work and how long he would be away sometimes, how you cared about him and was worried.

You would never forget the look on his face after you said that. He was so angry.

"You are so fucking annoying. You won't stop bothering me over the same stupid shit over and over again. You wonder why nobody likes you when you act like this."

Every word made you shrink smaller into yourself until your eyes were filled with tears and you were looking down at your feet. You swallowed the lump in your throat before shaking your head. The memories of your last relationship moved rapidly through your mind. That one had started with small arguments, then big ones, then came the hitting, then the beating. You refused to meet his steely gaze, you knew it must be filled with hate or annoyance.

"Of course, I'm sorry, Leon. I'll stop bothering you from now on." You forced a smile. From this moment forward you vowed to be less of a burden to him.
Over the next weeks, you slowly moved some things back to your own apartment, slow enough that he didn't even notice. You became more jumpy, flinching when he came to you too fast or tried to hug you. You could tell he was becoming more and more concerned as the days went by.

"You're so quiet." Leon told you during your movie night, sounding upset.
You shook slightly, how could this have upset him when this is what he wanted?

"Would you like me to talk more, si- Leon?" You prayed he didn't catch your near slip.

"I like it when you talk about your day and the things you notice in movies and the things you like." He told you, seemingly your prayer had been answered.

Truly, you hadn't even thought about your day, you just... floated through space throughout it.

"Um... I guess my day was okay... it was boring, not much to talk about." You told him, nervously playing with your fingers in your lap, refusing to look him in the eyes.

Leon gestured at the TV where the movie was playing, "what about this? Tell me what you've noticed in the movie."

The question caught you off guard. To be truthful, you hadn't really been paying attention to the movie on the screen, more focused on causing Leon as little annoyance as possible.

"Umm... I haven't really noticed anything." He abruptly paused the movie before turning it off.

"I don't think this is working out, let's just go to bed." Leon sighed.

Fear shot through you, "N-no! Please let's just watch a different movie! I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention, I promise I'll do better!" You said, unable to hide the nervousness in your voice. You hadn't been more afraid in your life. Leon was much stronger than your ex-boyfriend, he could easily overpower you, do the things he did... not that you believed he would, for some reason you were afraid, even though logically you knew you shouldn't be, he had been nothing but kind to you, but the fear bleed into your thoughts regardless.
Leon looked startled by your outburst before nodding, "Okay, yeah, we can watch something else if you'd like." He spoke apprehensively.

His response didn't quell your fears, instead making them more discernible.
"No, Leon! You pick the movie, please!" You really didn't deserve to choose a movie, not when you had been bothering him this whole time, maybe even through the whole relationship. The realization made you subtly shiver.

"Baby..."

"Let's watch... that one movie you really like! Shit, I can't remember..." Your breathing had begun to get shorter, you felt unable to breathe.

"Hey, hey, hey," Leon placed his hands on your shoulders, rubbing his thumbs gently across the tops. "We don't have to watch anything, baby. Shhh." He pulled you into his arms, squeezing your body against his. You both stayed like that until your breathing had settled.

"Let's go to bed." He whispered, pressing incredibly gentle kisses against your temple.

"I um... I need to go back home. I have work in the morning and I have no work clothes here."

"I have some clothes that you left here, angel." He spoke against your hair.

"I guess I can stay if you want." You relented.

Your boyfriend suddenly looked sad, "baby, if you don't want to stay, you don't have to."

You grimaced, "no, I do want to, I'm sorry." You looked at your feet.

He tilted your head up, fingers on your chin and then moving them to cup your cheek.
"I love you, sweetheart." He whispered, before pressing a kiss to your lips, tongue darting out to lick and suck your bottom lip in between his teeth. You whimpered against your mouth, you could feel the wetness between your legs growing.

His lips moved to your neck, sucking dark marks into the skin. You moaned as you felt his fingers pressing to your clit through the fabric of your pajama pants. You gasped in surprise as he gripped the backs of your thighs, hauling you into his arms. He groaned into your mouth as he carried you into his bedroom, lowering you onto the bed.

He whispered sweet nothings into your ear as he removed your clothes before he pulled your legs over his shoulders and kissed his way towards your cunt, licking a stripe from your quivering hole to your clit.

"Leon!" You moaned as he ate you out like a man starved, pressing an eager finger to your hole and fingering you messily.

He groaned against you, his hips pressing against the mattress again and again.
The feeling of your orgasm approaching steadily grew until you were coming with a whimper, legs shaking against his shoulders.

Leon wiped his mouth, not that it did much as most of his face was covered in your slick.

"Gonna fuck you now, baby." He told you as he rubbed his cock up and down the length of your cunt, bumping against your oversensitive clit over and over until finally he slipped inside, filling you until he bottomed out, both of you moaning at the feeling.

"Fuck, love you, angel." He groaned as he set a punishing pace, bumping against your cervix with every harsh thrust.

"Leon!" You were so wrecked, you could only moan his name over and over again, coming out in staccato as your second orgasm steadily approached, your lower belly tingled, spreading to the tips of your fingers and toes as you came hard around him, cunt pulsing in waves.

"Fuck!" Leon shouted, pressing inside you a couple more times before warmth spilled inside you.

He panted against your forehead, pressing kisses against every piece of skin he could reach, wincing as he pulled out of your warmth.

"Be right back, angel." He told you, but you had already drifted into a doze, only jolting back awake when he cleaned you up with a warm towel.

"Shhhh- you're okay, baby, go back to sleep." He rubbed soothing circles with his nails into your scalp until you fell into a deep sleep.

One day, three weeks later, while he was gone at work, you accidentally broke his favorite mug, and you were so panicked, you grasped the broken pieces of ceramic with your bare hands, slicing one of your palms deeply. Glancing at the clock you sucked a breath, Leon would be home in like, 30 minutes.

You quickly swept the pieces up with your hands, placing them on the dining room table for him to see. You wrapped your bleeding hand in a paper towel and scrubbed the floor where your blood fell aggressively. When you finished you quickly sat down at the dinner table when you heard keys jingling against the lock.

You heard Leon gasp in alarm, the sight of you sitting silently catching him off guard.
"Y/N, what are you doing sitting all alone?" He asked, sitting his things down.
You dipped your head down lower, ashamed of the mess you made, scared of his reaction, you felt so many emotions in that moment. It terrified you how calm he seemed.

"I'm sorry, I broke your favorite mug." You jerked your head towards the broken mess on the counter.

Leon looked puzzled at your seriousness, "It's okay, Y/N, it's just a mug. I can replace it, I'm not mad at you, sweetheart."

You sniffled, raising your head to timidly look at him, seeing that the look in his eyes was genuine.

"I put it on the table so you'd see, that's what..." you took a shuddering breath before continuing, "That's what he made me do. So he could punish me. I deserve to be punished, Leon." You told him, looking away and placing your hands on the table.

Leon walked quickly to you, grasping your injured hand in both of his.
"Baby... what happened? This is bad, I think you need stitches!" You could see the tears filling his eyes.

"I didn't have time to go to the hospital before you got home," you tried to explain, "I couldn't leave without your permission."
He looked absolutely heartbroken at your admission.

"Y/N, you don't have to ask permission. Not for anything. You do what you want. I'm sorry about our argument, I said something I shouldn't have. You don't annoy me and everyone loves you so so much, I wish I never made you believe such a thing, baby."

With those words, you burst into tears that you had been holding for weeks.

"I just wanted to be good for you. I wasn't good for him and he punished me. I was afraid you would too."

He shook his head quickly, "I would never hurt you, never on purpose. I love you more than anything. I'd move heaven and earth to see you happy. Please, move your things back in, hell, move all your things in. I'd love to spend the rest of my life with you."

You nodded, "Okay, Leon. First, I think I should get stitches. It really hurts." You sniffled. Leon quickly brought your hand to his lips, kissing the wound over and over again.

"Yeah, let's go, angel." He smiled against your skin, ushering you out the door and into his car. You felt so safe and loved as he held your hand while you got your stitches and smothered you with kisses when you changed into your pajamas, and made love to you when they inevitably ended up on the floor. As you traced the scars on your chest with a finger you opened up about your previous relationship and how your ex abused you, about how you barely survived the last beating before you got out. Leon listened attentively, pressing kiss after kiss to your hair and holding you close when you were done. As you laid in his arms, you knew you'd be okay.
