Sugar Sweet Love

Summary:

Zayne and I get into some sweets. Maybe even too many sweets...
Cute little oneshot/drabble I guess of my soulbonded husband and my selfship persona!

Notes:

My selfship persona is names Xinyu! He uses he/they pronouns.
I'd show you a picture but I'm unsure how to add pictures to here.

Work Text:

I'm tucked away somewhere (maybe in Zayne's office because I snuck in while he was away >:3), shoveling handfuls of candy in my mouth, until...
There's the sound of footsteps approaching. I pay them no mind, whoever it is is just walking down the hall. But then, there's the click of the door opening, and shiny black shoes stop in front of me. I look up, a piece of candy half eaten in my mouth.
I watch him crouch in front of me. He reaches out, pushing my bangs from my face.
"Getting into sweets, in your doctor's office, are you, darling?" He purrs out.
My cheeks redden at being caught, and I offer him a piece.
He sits beside me. "Ah, alright. Just a few." He decides, his fingers brushing mine as he grabs the candy.
"Oh, I love this one." He notes, happily eating it.
I smile, happy that the overworked doctor was taking a break.
After a little while, though, I started to feel queasy, and offered him the rest of the candy.
"Hm? Hunter, what's the matter?"
I shake my head, waving him off. "Too much candy makes me feel sick,"
He frowns, setting the candy down, checking my temperature.
"Not sick like THAT!" I say, cheeks reddening again. He picks me up, ignoring my protest, sitting me down on a chair. "Stay, darling."
I huff, but stay, as he walks off. He comes back with some water, offering it to me.
"My dear, why did you eat so much?" He asks, pushing my hair back from my face again.
"Because I like it." Is my response.
"Oh, treasure... It's a good thing your doctor is here for you," he says, and I laugh, agreeing.
"No more candy for you, for now,"
