It was a beautiful morning the birds were singing, the sun was shining, overall it was like a movie scene.
Mugman, was enjoying a warm cup of coffee while learning on the kitchen counter with his arms folded and a smile on his face. Cuphead on the other hand was still in bed sleeping like a baby.
As mugman was enjoying his morning coffee he glanced down at his watch hiding underneath his sweater sleeve and realized the time
THEY WERE LATE!!!
Mugman quickly put his coffee down and ran to Cuphead's room in hotel that they were staying at and, went to wake him up. “CUPHEAD wake up dumbass we are going to be late!” Mugman said Well shaking him violently, “five more minutes”
Cuphead said sleepily holding on to his blanket for dear life.
Mugman then pinched the bridge of his nose “Cuphead we don’t have five minutes we need go or they will get pissed off if we are late.” Mugman then taped his foot angrily and sighed.
Ok if this is how he wants to play then he has another thing coming mugman then graded the blanket and throw it off of Cuphead and behind himself.
Cuphead looked in shock at his blanket now on the floor and sighs sadly “ok fine I will get up but how much time do we have?” Cuphead asked tiredly to
Mugman.
“We have two minutes” he said with his arms folded looking at Cuphead who was tiredly putting on his coat.
“WHAT why didn’t you tell me sooner!?” Cuphead said angrily!” Running around the hotel like a maniac as Mugman stood by the door watching his brother's manic episode.
Mugman then sighs to himself and, unfolds his arms "I tried to tell you, but NooOoOo you needed that extra three minutes." Mugman stated as he moved his hands to his hips in an angerly fashion.
Cuphead then suddenly stops in his tracks "wait a minute where are going again?" Cuphead said as he put a finger to his chin staring at Mugman, "you're kidding right?" "Cuphead, we have been talking about this hit for a week!" Mugman yelled at a now even more confused Cuphead.
Mugman then sighs "ok fine whatever I will just retell you as we leave but we NEED to go." He says as he grads his brother's arm and walks out the front door, they then walked down to the main lobby and left the building in a hurry.
"Mugsy can you pretty please with a cherry on top tell me where we're going" Cuphead said in a sing song Voise as Mugman chuckled and pushed him away. "The person that hired us wants to meetup so we can tell him plan that we have been plaining for a week and to give us are target."
"Don't they normally give us the target first?" Cuphead asked, "normally yes but this guy just weird I guess at least we're getting paid double for this hit."
"I say we get celebratory hotdogs after this" Cuphead said nudging his brother with his elbow as he smiled, they walk in a calm silence for the time being.
Cuphead hummed a song that was in his head with his arms behind his head as Mugman had his hands in his pockets as he suede with ever step he took.
It was a comfortable morning people were out with their family's or going to work, the birds were singing and the flowers danced in the gentle air, the sky was filled with color, and the day was filled with promise.
Cuphead and Mugman finally got to the place after what felt 20 minutes it was a small beat down building in the far part of the city next to an alley way just sketchy overall. But the cupbros have been getting used to seeing buildings like this after being hitman for years.
"we're here" Mugman said Well looking at a piece of paper with the buildings address on it, they then went inside the building the inside looked a lot better than the outside but not by a lot.
The inside had pictures with motivational quotes and quite a few holes in the wall and a welcome mat that greeted the two as they walk in.
Surprisingly, they had a front desk lady who was talking on the phone admiring the shiny ring on her gloved hand.
The Mugman then walked up to her "umm e excuses me miss but we were told by someone to come here do you think you could tell us what room they are in please?" Mugman said nervously but the bat lady did not listen and kept talking on the phone ignoring his every word.
Cuphead then stepped forward to talk to the bat lady "now you listen here lady my brother says that we need to see someone, and you better tell us where they are or this is going to get messy real fast!" Cuphead yelled intimidating or at least he tried to be because both Mugman and the bat lady were unimpressed and unfazed by him.
"I'll call you later shadow" said the bat lady as she put her phone down, the bat lady had white fur, purple wigs, she wore a black latex suit with a pink heart top, white gloves, and knee-high heels, she had a slim figure and a deep Voice.
"I'm sorry but are you here to meet with handsome. ~" she said flirtatiously at looking at Cuphead Mugman then pushed Cuphead to the side and said," we don't know he never gave us a name he just gave me this paper with this location and what day and time to meet."
"Of course, I should have known he does this all the time thinks it makes him mysterious it's just dumb if you ask me," she said swaying her hand around "anyways his office is down the hallway on the right."
"Thank you miss ah" Mugman stop mid-sentence like a vinyl scratch he then realized that they never got her name "its rouge, Rouge the bat" she said with a smirk. Mugman nodded and the stared walking away with Cuphead.
As the Cupbros walked down the maze called a hallway they found a door with a sign On the door labeled the boss Cuphead then swung the door open and yelled "were here boss guy!" They then sat down at the spear chairs
"I've have expecting you two for some time now" said a Voise from behind the big chair in the middle of the room "sorry were late something came up this morning" Mugman apologized to the chair.
Slowly and suddenly the chair turned around to face the brothers "my name is gaster or W D Gaster to be precise and I have a job for you two boys. I need you to kill Charlie kirk.
