I can feel my chest caving in.
I can feel the vines squeezing my lungs and stealing my breath.
My vision swirls.
If this goes on for any longer, I'm sure I'll soon be hearing the snapping of my bones.
The vines dig into my skin.
But it doesn't hurt.
It feels more like they are trying to become a part of me.
If they were ever a separate being at all.
I relax.
I let the plants consume me.
I let the garden in.
Evander wakes up in a cold sweat.
He's sure he had a dream, but he definitely can't remember it.
He sits up, and spots something on his wall.
There's strings of ivy climbing up the side of his room.
