Chapter Text
We are in another universe where jay and Matthew find their way back and that time they stay together forever.
It all started in a middle school reunion. Matthew was chatting with Jessie even if they had grew apart it was nice talking to her again, she had been living in another town with her now boyfriend working as a manager in a café and hating it. She was planning to quit soon. Matthew was trying to listen to her but all that noise from all the different people there he had a rough time paying attention. Then HE walked in. Jay. He had gotten taller. His right arm was covered in tattoos and he had gotten his nose pierced in both sides. He had a fit masculine body and had kept his spiky hair. He looked more mature in a way. More growned. Matthew on the other hand had done highlights on his hair and gotten his ears pierced but only wore one pair on earring because he was scared of infections. And judgy people. Matthew wasnt the gym guy but he was pretty fit from the dance classes he had been teaching. He still loved singing but never gave it a professional chance because he wasnt confident enough for it.
Jay gets in he classroom they were all. He looked chill even after being 30 minutes late.
"Hey Matthew. Hi Jessie" jay says
"Hey jay" Jessie said
"Um hi jay. You sure look different...wow" Matthew said looking him up and down
"Oh is that a bad thing?" Jay looked at his outfit.
"No no i didnt mean it like that" Matthew says quickly to cover up the damage he did. "You look good"
"Well thank you"
After about an hour they all wait for an old teacher to show up. Spoiler alert he never did. Jay got bored and started walking around the school. Lot of them did that, so matthew went with him to not be left behind alone. They were walking and talking shoulder to shoulder.
"Sooo how does my ex husband has been doing?"
Matthew laughs a little. "Well i am fine. I just got out a relationship. Which isnt really positive the only positive thing in that man was his Chlamydia results"
Jay tried to not laugh and kept a straight face
"Oh sucks. Wanna talk about it?"
"No noo its fine. Okay maybe for a little bit" matthew didnt need much begginf to start trashing his exes.
"Fuck yeah" jay smilled now ready for the tea
"So i was with this guy who seemed to liked me but turns out he was married! To a woman! And we were fooling around for like four months! He even told me he wanted to marry me. Yeah i know i am an idiot and i fell for it but humor me, jay, that bitch was fucking good at gaslighting"
"Whoaaa. Long storyyy... Hey look thats the room we made out for the first time." Jay was clearly bored and tried changing the topic.
"Yeah. It is" Matthew stared at the classroom.
Matthew stared at the classroom and felt... something. He was feeling kind of nostalgic. He was so alone these days. Even though he tried to be himself he always would catch himself faking to be liked. Jay was one of the few people he didn't need to remind himself to be himself.
Matthew turns to jay. Jay was already looking at him. Like he was admiring his new look. Matthew got closer to jay. He kissed him. He needed it. He was feeling so unwanted theese days that he was desperate to be seen. Jay was surprised at first but after a second passed he put his hands on Matthews hair and neck and kissed him back. Jay was wild, he kissed him like he was waiting for that ten years. He kinda was but he only understood it now.
" Lets get out of here." Matthew says between kisses.
"I am right behind you" jay had a stupid grin on his face.
Jay held Matthews hand and followed Matthew. He could be taking him to the woods and killed him but at this moment he oculdnt care less.
