PM & ADA Goes To Europe (One-Shots)

Chapter 10: Chuuya & The Flags

Summary:

Chuuya meets with the Flags <3

Notes:

Soooooo I’m back:D

do not ask me how everything happened for the sake of this fic. For the fic’s sake, everyone convinced Verlaine to not commit the murders with the power of friendship and they all became best buddies. Remember, it is out of character and out of the original timeline. Adam ended up joining too because I said so.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Chuuya hopped out of the car and glanced at the building in front of him. Another branch of the Mafia that helps monitor their connections with the European jewelry market. When he found out about the existence of Verlaine, everyone thought it would lead to a bunch of bloodshed. Good thing everything worked out and they were moved to Europe for the time being to monitor their jewelry market there.

Chuuya pushed the door and greeted the front lobby. He stepped into the elevator and pressed the button for his floor. It had been six months since he visited the Flags and the others. The door slid open and Chuuya stepped into the hallway. He turned toward the room where the Flags and others usually hang out. He greeted the other Mafia members along the way.

Chuuya opened the door and was greeted with a bunch of confetti on his face.

“Congratulations, Chuuya!” Albatross exclaimed as he wrapped his arm around Chuuya.

“Huh?” Chuuya looked around the office and noticed a bunch of balloons and snacks. In the center was a banner hanging that read Congratulations on finally succeeding on your 7-year-long pinning!

“Good to see you again, Chuuya.” Lippman greeted Chuuya with a calm smile.

“How… What is that banner?” Chuuya pointed at the banner, how did they find out so fast?

“It’s not that hard to find out when everyone is aware of your mutual pining,” Piano Man responded, shooting Chuuya a smirk.

“Finally, we were all going crazy with your constant flirting and pinning,” Iceman rolled his eyes as he took a sip of his coffee.

“Heh-Heh… you two were giving everyone a headache back in Yokohama,” Doc chuckled.

Verlaine and Rimbaud approached Chuuya and put their hands on each shoulder, “Good to see you, brother,” Verlaine greeted.

“Seriously, what is all of this?” Chuuya walked around the office pointing at every single banner.

“Well, it’s a celebration. For finally getting together with Dazai-san.” Adam came into the room carrying a tray of snacks.

“Seriously? This is stupid,” Chuuya grumbled as he felt embarrassment course through his body.

“I think it’s rather kind,” Rimbaud responded as he took the hottest coffee cup he could find.

Albatross and Lippman appeared on each side of Chuuya and held a cake in front of his face that read “ Double Black For the Win .”

“Come on Chuuya, we all deserve to celebrate for finally ending this pain,” Verlaine jokes.

Chuuya clenched his fist and closed his eyes. He swears one day he’s going to kick their asses.

“Good to see you guys too,” Chuuya made a face at his friends.

“Awww, did Chuuya miss us?” Albatross joked as Chuuya scoffed.

“As if,” Chuuya retorted, even though he did miss his friends a lot.

“Let’s all stop being so cliche, even I’m mentally cringing,” Iceman said as he rolled his eyes at his friends.

“How’s everything in Yokohama?” Piano Man asked to rescue Chuuya from more embarrassing comments.

Chuuya turned to face Piano Man, “It’s going well. The jewelry market is booming and we have squashed 4 rising organizations in the past two months. What about here?”

“Here has been excellent. I’ve saved over 10,000 people in the past 7 years,” Doc said as he took a piece of cake, “Maybe more casualties will help me reach my goal.”

Only Doc would look forward to casualties.

“Well, we need to get going,” Lippman clasped his hands together, “I rented one of our charters to take us around the Greek Islands.”

Everyone got their stuff ready and started to board their work cars. The cars drove to the airport where the group boarded one of the private jets.

“This is going to be so much fun!” Albatross exclaimed as he sat next to Chuuya.

“The Boss must not be happy with how much money we are spending,” Rimbaud added as he took a seat next to Verlaine.

“The Boss won’t care as long as Fukuzawa-dono  glances at him for 0.05 seconds,” Lippman added with a chuckle.

“He’s still pinning after him?” Piano Man asked with an amused look.

“Heh… I’m not surprised. I remember the Boss would go to huge lengths to get his attention when Fukuzawa-dono was his bodyguard,” Doc added as he fixed his IV pole on the side.

“It seems like it runs on Mafia blood to pin after your enemy,” Iceman added with a side glance at Chuuya.

Chuuya rolled his eyes at his friend. Even though they were a pain, he couldn’t deny that he missed them.  The flight took about 3 hours until they arrived in Greece. From there, they drove down to their destination. They arrived at the marina where an attendant greeted them.

“Paul Verlaine,” The attendant nodded and directed them toward their charter.

The group followed the attendant down the dock, they all stared at the sight of the catamaran on the water.

“Wooo! This is going to be awesome,” Albatross climbed into the catamaran.

“Wait, here you go Adam,” Lippman gave Adam a water suit, “So that you don’t… well you know.”

Adam went inside the room on the catamaran to change into the suit as the others climbed on the boat. The captain started the catamaran and sliced through the waters of the Aegean Sea. The captain guided the vessels with precision.

Around him, the group lounged on the deck, their faces being sun-kissed by the sun. Beautiful hillsides rose from the sea, adorned with buildings. They could see the golden sand and the gentle swaying of the palm trees. The blue waters reflected the sun that stretched to the horizon. The sound of the seabirds in the background.

Everyone was admiring the beauty of the scenery, as a sense of tranquility washed over them. They were all wearing their beach clothes, which Albatross was glad otherwise Chuuya would probably send him flying for what he was about to do.

“COME ON!” Albatross grabbed Chuuya and pulled him into the water.

“What the hell? I swear Albatross!” Chuuya exclaimed but was met with a splash from his side.

“Come on, Chuuya. Relax,” Lippman responded, splashing Chuuya.

After a lot of convincing, Albatross and Lippman managed to convince Piano Man, Iceman, and Verlaine to jump in as well.

“Are you sure you three don’t want to join us?” Albatross asked as he submerged in the waters.

“Even with the suit, I rather not risk electrocuting everyone,” Adam responded as he sat next to Rimbaud and Doc, who were too sickly to go in.

The others continued to swim and splash one another. The sound of laughter echoed across the place. Albatross and Chuuya were having a swimming competition while the others just floated around. Rimbaud took several photos of Verlaine floating around without a care. Iceman decided to explore underwater and came back with a bunch of seashells. Pianoman was just floating around with his eyes closed, a good chance to relax for once.

Not that it was easy to relax when Albatross kept splashing everyone. Rimbaud and Doc were just watching the whole scene while sipping on some coconut water. Adam was on alert in case someone decided to drown.

Everyone climbed onto the boat and started drying themselves with the towels that were offered.

Lippman took out one of his cameras and handed it to the captain, “Sir, could you take a picture of all of us?”

“What? I’m not going to join that,” Chuuya grumbled, not that it worked since he was dragged to the middle by Verlaine. Deep down he appreciated every single interaction he had with them, they were his family after all.

The captain took the picture, it would be something that Chuuya would treasure. Everyone was completely soaked and smiling, a small smile tugged on his face.

“Is my dear brother feeling sentimental?” Verlaine joked Chuuya responded by flipping him off.

On the way back, Chuuya convinced the group to go back with him to Brussels to meet the others since they hadn’t met any Agency members. The way back was relaxing, something Chuuya always felt with them. He had missed them, after all.
