Chapter Text
Vi was absolutely ecstatic as she pushed open the doors to the Kiramman manor.
Her family- Mylo, Claggor, and Vander- were all in tip-top shape. The doctors had said they were currently expected to even live a very long and healthy life.
Ha! Suck that!
If you’d have told her that all those years ago, crying and shaking in one of dark and dingy cells in Stillwater, that one day she’d be happy, she’d probably have broken your nose and then cried quite a bit more. If you’d have told her one day she’d see her family again and have a loving girlfriend up Topside, she’d probably have done the same thing.
But now it was here! A happy fucking chapter in her depressing little life story! And, by Janna, she could only hope it led to a happy ending as well.
“Holy shit, Vi, you’ve been living here? Talk about turning blue belly.” Ah. Well, Mylo may not appreciate the happiness and vibe of the moment, but oh well.
“Shit yeah I do, you brat!” Banter came as easily as it did some eight years ago for Vi. “And you best believe you’re gonna be living here, too!” Caitlyn, Tobias, and even Cassandra chuckled at the look of shock on Mylo’s face, his stupid and ugly mustache (seriously, how did he somehow have facial hair and Claggor didn’t?) covering the top lip of his now opened mouth.
“Please, I would be a rather poor host if I didn’t offer you any kind of tour.” Caitlyn easily flipped back into her regal posture, although her smile did seem more genuine that when she usually did. “Mother, Father, I understand you may want some alone time. Vi and I will entertain our guests.” Tobias and Cassandra shot their daughter a thankful smile as he wheeled Cassandra off towards their bedroom.
“Alright! Follow me to the kitchen, you lot!” Vi joked as she borderline skipped across the foyer into the kitchen, the others tailing behind. “Here’s the table- great for eating at, I hear- and the island!”
“Vi, do you think it smells funny in here…?”
“And the stove, my fine gentleman! Do not touch it, I warn, for only Caitlyn and myself have resolved to harness its true power!” With the ending of her, quite frankly, hilarious line, Vi smacked her hand down on one of the knobs, electing to ignore the strange hissing, before an ear-splitting BOOM and scorching pain covered her body.
The manor went up in flames.
No survivors were reported.
