Shikamaru counts the remaining genin, who he remembers getting assigned already, who hasn't. Who's likely to be put with him? Vaguely, he processes Iruka-sensei reading off Team Eleven. Minor clan kids, leaving just enough genin for one team.
“Team Twelve,” Iruka-sensei starts, and Shikamaru feels like he's been running around training for hours, breath caught and a headache. It's— “Nara Shikamaru, Haruno Sakura, Inuzuka Kiba. Your instructor will be Shiranui Genma.”
Ino makes a choked kind of sound to his right.
Aka the fic where Genma gets baby trapped by a genin team (who are the babies) and surely this can't cause too much trouble. Right?

She knew better then to say a word of what she had seen during her time on the field. Especially with almost 7 clan heirs in her class and the hokages only son. All of whom had been kept from the war.
