(MARIO POV)
The moment we got on Rainbow Road I felt that something was off, something about this felt too easy in a way.
I look back to see the others on their Karts, they all seem pretty confident on this idea working out.
It’s weird, this feels way too easy, we are trying to surprise attack a Kingdom, who has already taken down other Kingdoms.
Wouldn’t they have a plan for all this? Wouldn’t they be prepared? Wouldn’t they predict this or at least have an idea on what we are doing? …can they be watching us right now?
I ride my kart closer to Peach. “Hey princess? Is this a good idea? I mean like, what makes us think they didn't already plan for this?”
“Don’t worry, Mustache! They won’t see us coming at all!” She rides her bike more ahead, I go faster to keep up with her.
She is right, maybe I am just worried. I need to calm down, have a little fun.
I am finally next to her again, I chuckle. “You are probably right, heh heh.” As I finally calm down, I start to notice the scenery, it’s beautiful. We are riding on a literal rainbow right now!
“Is there anything like this in your world?” I can’t hear her clearly.
“What?” Peach gets closer.
“Is there anything like this in your world!”
“No no, we don’t drive on rainbows. Heh heh, it’s pretty boring back home. Nothing like this”
Peach laughed. “What?! That’s crazy, what are you going to tell me next, Koopas can’t talk and aren’t evil?”
I chuckle again, she sure is making me laugh a ton. “They are actually pets back home, they don’t even talk!”
“No way!”
“Come to Brooklyn, I’ll buy you a pet turtle sometime!” We both smile at each other.
Peach laughs again. “Maybe I will after all this is over.”
DK approaches us both on his huge ugly kart. ”Dude is this you flirting? This is painful!”
‘I was just trying to be nice.”
“You are SOOO embarrassing! The princess would never go out with you.”
Toad approaches up as well. “Yes she would, I guarantee she would!”
Peach interrupts. “Guys, enough.”
“Alright alright.” DK and Toad back up.
"Phew, glad they are finally backing up-" Koopas in Karts jump onto the Rainbow Road.
(LUIGI POV)
“Luigi, Luigi, Luigi, looks like your dumb brother decided to hang out with my fiancé. What, didn’t tell him not to?” Bowser is shaking my cage while sitting on a chair, looking at me.
Ugh, that damn smirk, I’m starting to hate it! He knows why I didn’t tell him! I haven’t seen or spoken to my brother in a year!
“Spacing out again? You do that a lot Luigi.” Bowser grabs his binoculars and looks over at the rainbow. I see his expression changes. “Your dumb brother is hanging out with my fiancé.”
“Didn’t you already say that?”
“I said that because I was joking, didn’t think he would actually be bold enough, that fucking red plumber! I’ll kill him for even being near my Princess!” I looked away from him and sat down. “Luigi, your brother will die for this!”
“What?!” Bowser hands me the binoculars. I get up and look through them. I look at the rainbow. Mario is there. Wait what, no! They are going to surprise attack them! “No!” Bowser Laughs.
"My dear Luigi, this is fun, ain't it?"
"How can this be fun?!" Bowser takes the binoculars from my hands and looks down at the rainbow road.
"This is super fun, Ha! Seeing them get destroyed by my own army." I look down at the rainbow road, I can't see anything. I need to the binoculars to at least see what they are doing. “Kamek, get me and Luigi some drinks!” Kamek disappears and reappears. He hands Bowser some kind of alcohol drink, and he hands me a juice box. Really!
“What? Not going to drink it, Prince?”
“No! You are trying to kill my brother, I don’t want to drink while my brother gets attacked!” I sit down. I can’t hold back my tears. Bowser picks up my cage and heads back inside my castle. We go into a room, as Bowser sets me down, I look up.
I imagine this is his bedroom. A couch lies on the left side of the room, it’s black and huge, it looks like it hasn’t been used in a while. A bed is in the middle of the room, it’s big and has lots of pillows. There is a rug on the floor, it looks more comfier than my bed back in Brooklyn. There is a bookshelf next to the couch, it has a ton of books. Beside me, there is a desk, with a chair. The desk has a book on it. I am in front of the bathroom door.
This whole place looks super super rich. Why did he take me here? He normally leaves me outside his door when he goes to bed. “Luigi, this is my resting place!”
“Isn’t this such an amazing room Luigi?” Bowser smirks as he sits down on his couch.
“...Why did you bring me here?” Bowser chuckles nervously.
“Well, you see.” Bowser think for a moment. “It’s uh because… BECAUSE, it is way too loud out there and I’m tired, so I’m going to bed! Ha ha!” I watch as Bowser goes to his bed and throws himself on it, on his belly.
I am still sitting down, I lower my head down again. Mario…
“...Hey Luigi.” His voice interrupts my thoughts, I raise my head and look at him. I’m starting to tear up again. “Listen! You probably know your brother the most out of anyone, right? So, don’t you think he is probably going to survive this?” What?
“I… I guess.” Bowser smirks again.
“Soooo! There is nothing to be sad about, that little pest is probably going to live, do you believe he is?”
“...yes, hopefully…” ...What is his plan here?
“So, there is nothing to be worried about, he will probably walk out just fine! Ha!”
I don’t respond. Bowser rolls his eyes at me not responding and goes to sleep.

I get startled as I hear a voice behind me. I look around but see no one again. This heat is seriously starting to get into my head, there is nothing here to cool me down, it's all lava. I wish I still had the ice flower, it's way too hot right now. I look over at Bowser, he is asleep on his bed, looking extremely comfy. He looks so comfortable just lying there on his bed, meanwhile his army is attacking my brother. Mario… I hope you are ok.
