Notes:

Dubious consent:
Jet and Juno have sex while Juno is drugged but Juno is totally into it and would absolutely have done it anyway the sex pollen/drug scenario is just the inciting incident. There is no doubt that Juno will be totally ok even without Jet's intervention. Jet knows this, so he is not pressured to engage out of fear for Juno's life.

Miscommunication:
This is related to the dubcon element. Juno and Jet avoid each other after the fact. Juno is just embarrassed by how much he enjoyed it but Jet takes his weird behavior to mean that he regrets their night together. Jet fully believes that he violated Juno's consent and traumatized him. They work it all out in the end but only after Jet panics so hard he throws up. It doesn't come up until chapter 2 so you can get away with just reading the smut and getting out if you don't want to read about that.
