Chapter Text
"Sonic's been thrown out of the tournament, and will enjoy some time in…" Chris shuffles some notecards as he tries to find the right ones, "Edo Japan!"
"Wait, Time Trav-?" Sonic vworps away as some cool new Edo Era Art hangs on a nearby pillar, depicting Sonic, Oboromaru, and Kazuma Kiryu Ryoma Sakamoto all fighting some sort of giant frog/toad beast.
"I hope he made his way back okay." Joker rubs his chin as he looks at the art intently.
"Susie's out for… The Wild West!" Chris announces once Susie has too many cards.
"WOO! KRIS! SAVE MY WAN-" vworp Away goes Susie.
On some nearby support beams, "Susie the Kid" wanted posters begin plastering it, old and yellowed, Susie's giving a very wide, toothy grin in many of those photos. Her reward amount is staggering, but insists she's to be taken in alive since she hasn't actually killed anyone.
Kris strolls up to the posters and takes one, rolling it up to save and show Susie for later, before going back on their way.
Hat Kid has been making Cowboy Music Noises with her mouth this whole time.
"Alright Hat Kid, let's see where you're going… Near Future isn't fun so… STONE AGE!"
"Huh?" vworp Time for Hat Kid to do more time travel, though her clothes are going to be rather… anachronistic.
A cave painting appears crashes down onto a nearby table, crushing it, showing hat kid teaching the cave people how time works with some hourglasses.
"Yeah I'm sure that won't cause some sort of time paradox." Sonic just sort of stares at the cave painting.
"Ren is outie 5000, and since he's a Wizard, it's time for you do go do some wizardly shit in The Middle Ages!" Chris announces.
Cube gives Ren a thumbs up, and a spare battery for his phone right before he vworps out of there…
As some sort of triptych appears behind Ren's chair, depicting the great battle with another rival wizard, a giant demon, and the confessing of evil done by said wizard to his best friend and princess. Along with a lot of other strange nonsense like the stuff Hironymous Bosch makes.
A tragic end to that story, but one where a lot of suffering was avoided in the end.
"Confessing your crimes cause he felt so guilty about it. Kind of out of nowhere, but at least nobody else died besides that girl's dad…" Susie sighs, looking over the art, before going back to the game.
