Hi everyone!
Thanks so much for supporting this fic. I really loved writing it, and recently I've decided to come back to it and do a rewrite, because I still love the concept but I've grown so much as a writer since Heart of a Lion was posted, and I want this fic to benefit from it!
I'm about 6k into the rewrite so far, although I won't start posting until I'm at least over halfway done. I'm planning to post it as a new work, since the plot will be extremely similar but it differs more than just editing the original.
The rewrite will still feature all the key parts of this fic: Gryffindor Regulus, the Marauders, the first war with Voldemort, and a Horcrux hunt (and a happy ending because that's who I am lol). It's more the craft that's being updated.
Again, thank you for reading! This was one of my first fics and I really, really appreciate the support.

UPDATE: Check the 'works inspired by this one' thing at the bottom for the link to the new version, titled set those ghosts alight! It has the exact same premise and a lot of the same components, but it's turned into a pretty different story. So you get two versions! (The rewrite is also much longer, so anyone who's looking for a longfic, it's about 129k.)
