Summary
Daniel is yet to know him as Armand, not yet, he only knows Rashid. Armand, however, knows Daniel intimately through multiple stages of his life. He can feel Daniel’s eyes watching his every move, drilling into his back, thinking those thoughts about him — and it’s driving him insane. He can no longer hold himself back.
Daniel wants ‘Rashid’ and Armand wants Daniel. So, late at night, in the quiet dark of the Dubai penthouse, Armand decides to do something about it.
He knocks on Daniel’s bedroom door, dressed as Rashid, and Daniel tells him to come in.

A flicker of genuine irritation crossed Armand’s face. “Hardly,” he said, his voice dropping back into its familiar, cool register. He placed the book he was holding on a table with a soft, definitive thud. “Given the sheer number of men I watched you take to cheap motel rooms and parked cars during your marriage, I would say your sexuality, Daniel, proved to be remarkably resilient. It found its way back to its true nature soon enough.”
