Everyone groaned, but Jisung smiled as he reached down to pick up the cruise voucher. He thought of the small polaroid taken years ago, in another life. He turned the picture over in his mind, though he already knew what was written on the back. Smooth, small letters written with a steady hand in deep blue ink: "I never felt like I’ve ever truly had a home, until I met you."
He secretly kind of shipped it, too.

Or; the one where a raffle ticket mix-up finds an estranged Jisung and Minho sharing an all-expenses-paid cruise to Alaska. First love has a funny way of coming back into his life, and after five years apart Jisung thinks it should be a lot more awkward than it is to have a vacation fling with The One That Got Away. Over the course a week with glaciers, hyperactive puppies, and an all-inclusive drink package, they are are forced to make a decision- repeat history, or take a second chance on first love.

Dean took a long drag of his coffee, putting the cup down with a smack of his lips. “Couldn't resist the welcoming atmosphere and general ambiance. This is a nice city you’ve got here.”
“No, it’s not.”
Dean snorted and finished the last of his pie. “No, it’s not.”

“We are friends,” Chan glowered at Jisung from his desk, the younger boy perched on the edge of Chan’s bed. “Which is why you aren’t in actual trouble and you just have to do some volunteer work for the next month.”
“I didn’t even do anything wrong,” Jisung pouted, hugging Chan’s pillow to his chest and giving the chapter President his best puppy dog eyes. “I was just sitting.”
“You weren’t just sitting. You were drinking. On the roof of the library. After hours.” Chan sighed and ran a hand through his hair, his tone lowering, “Look, dude, I know it’s not the worst thing you could have done. But there’s a lot of scrutiny with the fraternities in this state right now and no one can be getting in any trouble. We aren’t getting shut down over some dumb shit. Everyone needs to be on their best behavior.

From closer, it’s clear that Minho is about his age. He’s handsome— very much so— in an untouchable sort of way. Straight nose, sharp eyes, a defined cupid’s bow. He looks sculpted rather than born. Jisung might shrink under the weight of his presence if the situation were different.
Knowing that Minho is dying ruins the illusion of perfection.
Jisung answers an ad online reading: "I'm going to die, but there's a lot of things I haven't done yet that I don't want to do alone."
