The Taimanin are government funded/supported ninjas tasked with hunting down demons. However, during a review of the Taimanin group by Section 3, it was determined that the number one cause of lost agents and defections was via the sexual conquest of agents in the field by the various demons and monsters that they hunt.
The proposed solution? The old saying holds that the best way to catch a thief is to set a thief, and being Japan, traditional wisdom is always factored into policy decisions. Thus it was decided that the best way to reduce the loss of Taimanin is to use the demons' own methods with their proven record of success. Thus, Our Protagonist (and his band of helpers, maybe) is given the task of sexually dominating the anti-demon ninjas before the enemies can, thus keeping them firmly attached to Section 3 and on the side of all that is good and Japanese.

Summary

Summary
Taylor Hebert had a great destiny, upon which much rested. She was also a latent psyker, too weak to ever awaken her potential. In the most critical moment of her life, these two things, combined with a plea for help made with dying faith, drew unsavory attention. A gift was given, a gift that was also a curse.
