Thiriann was woken up by the sound of rustling of papers. She blinked, her gaze traveling across their tent- their tent now, though it had been only his originally. Astarion was hunched over in the corner, surrounded by a chaotic sprawl of maps.
“You’re up early,” she groaned, stifling a yawn as she rolled onto her side to face him. “What are you doing?”
“Trying to figure out where in the hells bloody Waterdeep is,” he grumbled, his voice laced with frustration.
“It’s north of Baldur’s Gate,” she offered, pushing herself up onto her elbows.
“I still don’t see it,” he muttered, his brow furrowed as he scanned the intricate lines and symbols on the map.
"Higher than that, yes, a bit more."
"Hells," Astarion said, his gaze tracing the vast distance between the two cities marked on the map. "Imagine the distance those mind flayers undertook just to snatch Gale of all people."
