Summary
Dazai, freshly seventeen and filled with the hormones, finally hits his quintessential teenage crush era. There's only one problem with that: It's Dazai getting his first crush, so his impeccable logic leads him to the conclusion that these strange symptoms are in fact a result of his body finally deciding to take his suicide into its own hands.

"What the fuck was that?" He starts, indignation crossing his face at the thought that he'll definitely be late now and it will definitely come out of his paycheck. "Can you not pay attention to the road, or some shit?"
The brunet looks down at him, fuck him, and just blinks a few times.
By now, most of the random bypassers have moved on from their situation, content to let any authority handle the rest of the outcome.
"Oh, I can. It said oncoming traffic. I simply decided to walk into it." It's said with such a calm smile that Chuuya can only gawk.
"You— You chose to walk into it? You wanted to die?! Are you insane?!" He cannot fathom what could possibly drive someone to want to walk into oncoming traffic, and he can feel his brain shortcircuiting over the fact that someone would so willingly do it.
"Yes, yes, and clinically no," the brunet says, voice turning chipper.
"'Clinically,' my ass. I cannot believe this," Chuuya mutters to himself.

“I’m not stealing organs from my job so you can chow down, Dazai,” Chuuya says. When they first began this arrangement, Dazai asked for a human liver. Chuuya said not only was that illegal, he would get in all sorts of trouble because “doctors can’t just steal organs from cadavers” and he “worked too hard to get sent to jail because some idiot fox got hungry.”
You bound us together, Chuuya, Dazai wanted to argue, but it was pointless. Chuuya returned days later with fried tofu, claiming his Google search said kitsune had a fondness for the dish. Which was not wrong, but still, Dazai hated when Chuuya was right about anything.
