Summary
Vincent (Vox) had been a hard-working company man for many years. Fifteen years, to be precise. In those fifteen years at his marketing firm, he's never so much as taken a sick day. Because of his tireless work ethic, and finely-tuned brain for marketing, he's earned himself the top position at his company; CEO. He's also earned himself - in other words, been forced into taking - a weeklong vacation in Puerto Rico. Reluctantly, he accepts the promotion perk, and resolves to spend the entirety of the trip getting absolutely shit faced at every opportunity. On his first night at the bar, he meets a beautiful, mysterious stranger, and his liquid courage gets the better of him when he asks the stranger to dance. Who knew that one night in paradise could so drastically alter your future?

Chapter Summaries
One: Their first dance.
Two: Before Val became a pimp, he had his own.
Three: Vox deals with Val's instability.
Four: Vox teaches Val how to flip a pancake. It goes as well as you might expect.
Five: Vox fails to realize he has already found a way to help.
Six: Val cares for Vox after the nightmare.
Seven: After Val's drag performance, Vox somehow says the wrong thing.
Eight: Val paints non-existent stars.
Nine: To no one's surprise, Val likes the gift of sex for his birthday.
Ten: Val does not understand Vox's hatred of Angel Dust.
Eleven and Twelve: Vox likes to give Val gifts. Because of Val's reaction to one, he pushes the moth toward freedom.
Thirteen: Velvette calls Vox out for how obviously in love with Val he is.
Fourteen: Val watches Vox.Most chapters are about Valentino's start in Hell and being controlled by a pimp of his own or dealing with his PTSD from that. The cycles of abuse indeed.
