He swings the man around and goes back in to finish his meal. Before, where he could only smell the tang of blood and the ozone of the night, there is now a decidedly heavy musk coming from Anton. It’s not unpleasant, just overpowering now that he’s close, and it makes something in Viago’s gut shift to be drinking so deeply and thinking of Anton at the same time. Life is full of intimacies, an immortal life exponentially so, but there are still some he does not like to get crossed. Two of them are friend and food.
He wonders what it would be like to eat Anton up.

Summary
Anton and Viago got caught in the middle of a drunken altercation and to keep their respective sides from literally killing each other they pretend to have been secretly dating until things blow over. It doesn't go exactly to plan.
