“Grooms, a-niang?,” Wei Wuxian asks with a frown.
“Why not? It says nowhere you’d need to marry a woman, does it?”
Wei Wuxian tilts his head. He has never thought about it. He could marry a man? Would he want to? It seems easier than being with a woman. Maybe it could even be fun with a man! “Huh.”
“Don’t tell me you suddenly think about getting married?” Jiang Cheng gapes at him.
“Ha! Of course not! I am too young to marry. And who would I even pick? It’d need to be someone righteous and a good cultivator. No timid person who never talks back. Someone with the same values as me. And they’d need to be sharp and clever on top of that. Know anyone like that?” Wei Wuxian grins at Jiang Cheng, knowing he’d won.
“Sure. And he’s a real beauty on top of that,” Jiang Cheng says, facepalming.
