This is too real. 😭 How different would things have been if the "heroes" had treated Jason with respect and hadn't partaken in the victim-blaming? How different would things have been if Bruce hadn't responded to violence and instead, spent time honoring Jason's memory so his "love" for Jason was actually visible? How different would things have been if Dick had actually gotten to have a proper reunion with someone he had mourned?
Exactly!!!! Like Jason probably felt like no one was on his side, no one to defend him, betrayed by the community he once looked up to
Jason became Red Hood because he felt replaced and sidelined by Bruce, seeing how his death meant nothing :( (or well, it didn't help change anything in a positive way)
The fact that (in fics, idk about comics) Jason only knows that Dick wasn't at his funeral (and therefore didn't 'care' about him) but Dick didn't even know he'd died or had his funeral already because of fucking Bruce keeping it a secret honestly devastates me :((
