This whole story began with me daydreaming about the most melodramatic ways these two could possibly meet again in season two Okay but SCREAMING because this entire equation occupies approximately 93% of my fic-contemplation brain and entirely too much of the scraps of new story premises in my notes. XD

Ahhhhh I'm so happy to hear that you are also dreaming up dramatic meetings for these two!!! My brain keeps generating the Situations, and I will be SO excited to see what you've got brewing. Maybe we should make a series. Choose Your Own Melodramatic Melshi-and-Cassian Reunion. XD
I'm also very pleased that the version here brought some feels for you. I struggle with action sequences, so this first chapter was kind of a bear for me, but one of the things I really wanted to convey was that Cassian is a Badass, so I'm thrilled to hear that came through.
