    I'm sobbing crying tearing my hair out over this!!! Cassian's protective streak when Melshi just drinks something people give him jkghkfg my heart is so fragile!! And the cooking, cooking as Cassian's love language and the way he immediately tries to find solutions for Melshi's hangups!!! So many perfect moments and I cherish them and you thank you so much!!

      Ahhhhhh thank you so much, Kiku!!! I have this idea that Melshi is sharply/perceptively suspicious of systems while also being much less suspicious of individual people around him than Cassian is (he can see through all the Narkina ruses and still get sucker punched while talking about them). I'm very happy Cassian's protectiveness about that (in the form of the drinks) landed for you. And 100% of the inspiration for the moment when Cassian brainstorms food solutions for Melshi came from what you shared about your WIP, so it means an immense amount to me to hear that it worked for you as a part of this scene. <3<3<3
