You really make me see Audrey in a better light. I mean I put myself in her shoes and I feel so bad. Like seriously Ben could you be any more obvious with your feeling for Mal in front of your girlfriend ? Please, Audrey is giving her everything for your project and you just don't have time to explain to her what is hapenning and gaslighting her in believing that she is not trusting enough ? You are behaving like a real prick Ben and Audrey is far too trusting !
And let's talk about Ben "feelings for Mal". This guy see a beautiful girl for the first time and is like in love before they even talk for the first time. I know it's how it is in Disney but... it seems kinda superficial you know. Which make me even more angry on Audrey behalf (the poor girl)
Chad is so cute and attentive to Audrey it kinda hurt. Poor dear, he is the best friend Audrey could have and he is definitely kind of in love with her, probably without knowing it... I just want him to be happy and I really love how not stupid he is in that fic !
And honorable mention to Doug and his little nerdy talk with Carlos about computer science. It is just so cute to see him happy about something !
Ben is a very 'love at first sight' kind of person along with a 'There's no reason to communicate with Audrey since she's always going to be here' kind of person. Oh Audrey and Chad are masters of repressing their feelings.
