    You know, I noticed that too. I read way too many of John Douglas’ profiling books probably way too young, and the Hannibal serial killers are just next level. In the show that is… in Silence of the Lambs, Jame Gumb seems much more realistic. But without the show, then we wouldn’t have dead people totum poles and all the other totally crazy shit in Hannibal, so… *shrug.*

    I really like the research you put into your OC killers in this series, and how even though they are based in fact, they also hold a lens up to Hannibal and Will. I agree, I don’t think Hannibal would have any real drive to change his MO and only go after bad guys, but the interesting thing to think about is… would he do that for Will? What kind of commitment from Will would that take? Hannibal is a total sociopath, but to get what he wants, how much would he allow himself to be contained?

    Anyway, thanks again for sharing. Glad to have found you writing in this fandom. For some fun/practice, I’ve been doing outsider POV stories in a few fandoms I read but don’t usually write for, but I don’t know that I’ll try this one :)

      That really is one of the most fun questions to think about isn't it?

      Also, I hope you do try writing an outsider POV fic for Hannibal! I'd love to see it!
