oh, I adore this so much! personally am a huge fan of tom and seven being good friends, I always want more of it and this fits right in with what I imagine for them, down to the definitely-has-an-ulterior-motive-for-showing-up-in-astrometrics tom. loved the characterization and inevitable miscommunication/conflict between them, made better that seven can find her way to realizing that a little less than perfection can still be good. seven's back and forth with the era-accurate gas station hologram had me howling, and their fashion styling was the cherry on top--hawaiian shirts are of course mandatory for tom, and the scarf for seven for her twist! it all reminds me of my own ride down the PCH a couple years ago, which put an extra smile on my face. what a delight, thanks for sharing!! ❤️
