Definitely going to be much scarier and more raw and painful than canon... I fully agree about the story arc in the show, it bothered me since I watched it which is why I cooked up this AU. it feels really cruel and uncaring for them to send ahsoka in there knowing she was in such particular danger (which the show could only allude to, of course)
