Summary
As a Cloudweaver, Lan Lianyi has sewn many, many clothes for Gusu Lan sect members, both clan and guest disciples. She has seen many of the sect’s ups and downs in her lifetime, from Qingheng-jun’s unfavourable marriage, to the Sunshot Campaign, and finally the more recent marriage of Hanguang-jun and the Yiling Patriarch.
One of her responsibilities is to sew the forehead ribbons of the Gusu Lan disciples, both clan and guest disciples. This time, she has to sew a new forehead ribbon for Hanguang-jun’s newly wedded spouse, the Yiling Patriarch, Wei Wuxian.

Summary
As a Cloudweaver, work is never-ending. It has been a while since she sewed Wei Wuxian’s forehead ribbon, so Lan Lianyi is not surprised when he arrives at the Cloudweavers’ Abode, eager to discuss potential arrays to put on the Gusu Lan robes. On another day, she also receives a personal request from Hanguang-jun to teach him how to sew. And a stroke of serendipity allows a certain ghost general to get a new set of clothes.
Ah, indeed, work is never-ending no matter the season.
