His metal hand had now been turned colors with the age of people placing their hand in his, or even letting him cradle their face, his hand eerily always fitting against any face structure, any jaw line, any gender or age.
Because of this, people have kept the myth that he was cursed by someone and once his soul mate touches that hand, he will be freed.Series

Summary
It took a few moments before Jaebum could calm down enough to speak again. “The ocean is what you have to worry about, it isn’t as safe as it tries to appear, but it won’t directly hurt you most times. The things independent from the sea are what you die from, they may still live in it, but they’re more aggressive.” Jaebum finally said, a soft chuckle still reverberating through his voice.
“Did you just imply the sea is alive?!”
Jaebum couldn’t stop the laugh from bubbling out of his throat again at Jinyoung's small panic.

Summary

There’s more to him though, more that can only be told on hushed whispers by nightlights or hiding away from prying eyes. Something that not many people dare to speak about in fear of adopting the curse from the man and turning to stone as he awakens.
