Summary
A look at how things might have gone if the MCRT had to face the consequences of ignoring protocol, procedures and the rule of law. In this universe, Tom Morrow holds his agents accountable and delivers well earnt smack downs and consequences when they screw up.
This series consists of episode tags from season 1, and each tag is a stand-alone vignette. At the end of each episode tag everything will revert to normal canon again.
There will be crossovers with characters appearing in guest and often minor roles in selected episodes from shows including: NCIS Los Angeles, Criminal Minds, JAG, SUV and White Collar.

Summary
When Leroy Jethro Gibbs informed the NCIS director he had offered former Secret Service Agent, Caitlin Todd a place on his team after her resignation from the Presidential protection team following a close call with an assassin and her professional failures had come to light, Tom Morrow had some serious concerns. Having foreseen the likelihood that the former Secret Service Agent would struggle to accept her position as a rookie investigator on the agency's premier MCRT Tom worried she would try ignoring the chain of command. This was why he made it clear to the senior supervisory agent and team leader that he needed to be particularly duteous, rigorously enforcing the chain of command. to the new probationary agent, insisting there was no room for complacency. Tom already threatened to fire her, should his fears prove correct and now a month into her joining NCIS, his beta noire was coming true. What the director had failed to predict though, was that Gibbs would give her carte blanche to do so.

Summary
Stan Burley was happy serving as the NCIS Agent Afloat aboard the USSS Enterprise until a short TAD for personal reasons saw him back in DC as acting SFA to Gibbs' new MCRT team, with Tony filling in for him at sea. It was only ever supposed to be a temporary deployment, but then the team leader was injured, and Stan found himself leading the MCRT in Gibbs' absence. He never imagined that his return to DC would result in him receiving a job offer that he'd find difficult to refuse. Still, the question was - should he return to his safe, ordered life as an agent afloat or accept a challenging new one that might be highly stressful? Luckily, SSA Balboa has some thoughts on the matter and decides to share them with his colleague, keen to remind him of Gibbs' Rule number 5 - You Don't Waste Good.
