[ “Sorry.” Hoseok said when they stepped back through their front door. “I’m sorry. I’m…trying. But, I’m tired and I didn’t have a good day at work and-,”
“Shh.” Yoongi wrapped his arms around Hoseok’s waist as their dogs jumped and barked around them, confused as to why they had both left for only five minutes. “You’ve been doing great. You’re allowed to have bad days, you know?”
Hoseok blinked and his cheeks reddened and before he could belly up to the sink to wash his hands again and fight tears, Yoongi dragged him down the hallway to their bedroom, their two dogs on their heels.
“It’s bedtime for the baby.” Yoongi said. “You need sleep.” ]Hoseok comes home from work after a long day. His boyfriend, Yoongi, takes care to put his worries to ease.

[ “So why did you fight with Hoseok?” Namjoon asked after a second.
Yoongi frowned at the memory of Hoseok, the giggles dying in his chest. He squinted and smacked his lips together, feeling like he needed some water. He shrugged, feeling guilty. But, not as bad as he did early. The marijuana numbed some of it out of him. “My shoulder was hurting.” He said. “And it made me irritable and I came out to Hoseok freaking out in the kitchen and we argued and then I went off on him.” He frowned.
“And then?”
“And then I left.” Yoongi confessed. “Because I’m weak.” He whispered. ]Yoongi and Hoseok have a Bad Day and fight over a container of kimchi

[ “I’ll get the cake.” Seokjin volunteered.
“Guys.” Jungkook whined. “I don’t want a party.”
“It’s not going to be a party.” Yoongi said. “We’ll take you out to dinner. You’re our friend, Jungkook. We just want you to have a good time on your birthday.”
Jungkook looked between the both of them for a moment. “Okay.” Jungkook said, giving in to the stir in his gut that craved companionship. He was so lonely, he talked the grocery store’s ear off about a hawk he saw in their parking lot. God, he was pitiful. “Dinner only. No cake. Somewhere simple.”
Yoongi and Seokjin smiled at each other. “You got it.” Seokjin said, batting his long, long eyelashes. ]Jungkook did not want a party for his birthday. Seokjin and Yoongi throw him a party anyway. Jimin and Taehyung make sure that Jungkook gets the birthday he will remember.
