What if, after the Uchiha Massacre, instead of traumatizing and abandoning Sasuke, Itachi took Sasuke with him? What if, on the way out, he picked up Naruto too?
The plan is for this to be a collection of vignettes, drabbles, and miniadventures as Itachi finds himself in the unenviable position of wrangling and raising Sasuke and Naruto. I don't have any big contiguous plot in mind, I just know myself well enough to know that the idea has sparked plot bunnies and I'd like to be able to link the bits and pieces together. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if it spawns a 20+k adventure somewhere along the line. Or two. It depends on how much these plot bunnies breed and take over my motivation.
