We start at the beginning. Or perhaps, it's more accurate to say we start at the end. After discovering the truth of Salem's immortality and the ruined fate of the world, Raven Branwen just wants it to be over. No more fighting, no more death, no more struggle. But in order for it to end, they have to strike first. She has placed it upon herself to find the devil's realm and thwart whatever plan she has in store. Even if that means giving up everything she holds dear to her; from her own safety to the relationships she had with STRQ to even her own daughter.
Because Raven doesn't know when to quit. She searches endlessly, for years... and finally finds it. The next step is upon her and she makes it with the desperation to finally finish this.
And after the events that transpire...
She really wishes she would have listened to someone when they told her to stop.
Maybe then she could have prevented her mistakes. Maybe then things wouldn't have gone so horribly wrong.
Maybe then... Summer would still be alive if it weren't for her.

When the war ended and Ruby disappeared, the rest of team RWBY thought that was the end. They built themselves back up from the broken pieces left behind by their missing member, two years of misery and struggle and finding peace and sanctuary. It wasn't perfect, but it was what they had- and they made it. They were content again.But then they learned of a miracle. Learned that dreams can come true.
Because Ruby Rose is out there. Somewhere. Reformed from the process that shattered her to the winds. And it is up to Weiss and Blake and Yang to find her once more so they can all be together again. As one family. One team. Oh, there will be countless struggles, but they are willing to face whatever is coming their way head-on.
...But perhaps they will learn too late that finding Ruby and getting her back is only a quarter of the battle.
The new journey has begun... and what awaits them on the path? Well...
Only time will tell.
