Summary
"Jaemin watches as Jeno dances across the floor, toes pointed and arms extended, and tries to put a name to what it is that makes watching him so mesmerizing.
He doesn’t know if he can properly explain it, Jeno’s dancing. It’s strong, it comes from firm foundations of technique and years of building muscle from repeating the same movements over and over again. It’s fluid the way a dancer should be, the way Jeno moves his body from one shape to the next without a break or a pause in his movement.
But underneath the solid technique and fluidity of movement, Jaemin sees a glimmer of that determination Jeno had when he first started taking classes here. It’s more muted now, covered up by a stronger feeling, urgency.
Jeno dances like he needs to, like he needs to dance the way he needs to breathe.
Sometimes, Jaemin finds it hard to look away."
Or: Jeno is the perfect Nutcracker Prince, and Jaemin wonders how he never realized that before.

Summary
"See, Ten didn’t fall in love with Johnny the way you’re supposed to fall in love with someone because he didn’t fall slowly, gradually over the course of their friendship developing, and he wasn’t hit with the realization of love the first time he properly interacted with Johnny either.
But the moment Ten does fall in love, about a year after they forged their friendship over paninis and coffee, it hits him so hard his legs give out underneath him."
Or: amidst all of his friends' blossoming relationships, Ten is in love with Johnny.

Summary
“Uh, my name is Mark,” he tells the class. “I guess I’m gonna be your instructor.”
First off, Mark is young. He looks barely out of high school, which means he can’t be that much older than Donghyuck. Something latches itself into the back of his throat at the thought, making it hard to swallow. Upon second glance, Mark looks just… incredibly genuine. Though he might be a little nervous, his eyes also betray his excitement. His heels are bouncing on the ground like Jisung’s, like he can’t wait another moment to get moving, to start dancing.
Donghyuck squints at him. He wonders where Mark stores all that passion.
“Alright, let’s get warmed up,” Mark says. After he turns on the music, he swipes the beanie off his head to reveal faded blue hair trimmed to a short mullet. It’s not hot, Donghyuck tells himself, it’s tacky and stupid and this man should not be here.
Mark claps his hands, and Donghyuck grits his teeth and dances.
